I got this idea for a thread after reading the very entertaining In Honor of Tradition:Sweet Science 16 tournament posted by @rpb1975
Who would you consider the true submission wrestling experts in the GWF (past and present)?
Since I only play post-2119 feds, I am going with The Amazing Mann.
I am very interested to see who others would consider to be the true masters of submission wrestling in COTG.

Pendekar in CPC/POW GWF, Amazing Mann would clearly the best, Shoot is also a good one. In earlier times Archon was probably the tops for it.

For me it comes down to who is good at submissions over all vs who wins and has a lot of success thanks to submissions. By the later I would say Thantos and Wolf would be included in the discussion.

Isn't Ground Zero a submission move? If so, I'd throw BEX in there too.

Bex is a good one too as he's modeled after Bryan Danielson. Ground Zero I believe is an inverted Chikara Special.

I'd say Thantos. The guy almost never lost in my 2087 and it was almost always a win by submission to the Masterlock.

MUTANT! When he got the WIN it was ALWAYS a submission with the TEMPLEGRINDER!
(Sorry that I went there...)
