I always thought what WCW did when first introducing/pushing Goldberg was like the coolest thing ever, and best method to turn someone with a great look into a huge star quickly.
That got me thinking if people out there did the same sort of thing with their GWF, CPC/POW, or aCe guys when debuting them.
So what wrestlers out there lived up to their debut hype and/or rode an undefeated streak to the top of your fed?
There's gotta be some cool stories here...

[glow=white,3,300]aCe ESSENCE TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP[/glow]MASS DESTRUCTION : WARFARE & VENTROSS : card #1 - Tournament final over Special Forces VACANT 1 : card # 45 SPECIAL FORCES : SHEPARD & SCORCH : card # 47 DARKNESS FALLS : KRYPT & JAKYLL : card # 63 NUBORN DESTRUCTION : WARFARE & TEKARO : card # 70 S&M : SYCOPHANT & PAINMASTER : card # 94 BAD ATTITUDE : SCORCH & HUSTLER ; card # 96 SHOCK SYNDICATE : HOLOCAUST & FLATLINER ; card # 102 * # 104 beat The Hellraisers when Holocaust pinned Nightmare * # 105 beat S&M when PainMaster was unable to continue * # 106 lost to The ArchAngels : Exodus & Gabriel by DQ * # 107 lost to The ArchAngels : Exodus & Gabriel by pin THE ARCHANGELS : GABRIEL & EXODUS ; card # 107 * # 109 lost to the Shock Syndicate by pin THE SHOCK SYNDICATE (2) : HOLOCAUST & FLATLINER ; card # 109 * # 110 lost to Darkness Falls by pin ( Six-Man match involving Paganax & General Rankor ) DARKNESS FALLS (2) : KRYPT & JAKYL ; card # 110 ( consider second reign but not the original Krypt & Jakyl ) VACANT - PROMOTION CLOSES! THE SHOCK SYNDICATE (3) : HOLOCAUST & FLATLINER - Tournament final over Primeval Destruction via DQ card # 5 (115) * # 6 (116) Lost to Primeval Destruction when Warfare pinned Holocaust, PRIMEVAL DESTRUCTION : WARFARE & HYBRID CARD # 6 (116) * # 10 (120) beat THE SHOCK SYNDICATE when Warfare pinned Holocaust
Mass Destruction 44 card reign as tag champions and NEVER were beaten AT ALL in any way. Reign lasted well over a year real time. Vacated the titles because Ventross broke up the team. Nuborn Destruction 23 card reign and were jobbed out of the title against S&M Now he's on his third partner and third reign as Primeval Destruction and look unstoppable. The A.C.E.'s Michael Myers is a tag machine and a pure beast.
120 ACE cards and he's been tag champ for 71 of them.

Paganax has still NEVER been pinned in my fed. How longs it been now? He's lost by DQ and a scattered few CO's but no one has ever pinned his shoulders to the match. That's why this Godsend/Dominion feud is looking so sweet. Can one of them be the first to do it and gain the secret power their serching for?

MENSAR won Rookie of the Year in 2112, carried the BLACKLIST team to Tag Team of the Year the next year, followed that up with a Wrestler of the Year in 2114, and then back-to-back Six-Man Awards w/ TANCK and ENCUBUS in '15 & '16. Guy was just a beast everywhere.
Then he took the same card to the supposedly AAA-level CPC and couldn't do anything of note, until finally resurfacing with a new card. He will be the CPC Wrestler of the Year for 2123, locking that Award up last week.
As far hype gone bad -- PARAGON is the shining example for us. Hyped as Jesus' better-looking twin, he couldn't win a title until the end of his 2nd year (in our fed, most rookies will have won a title within 2-3 months max.), and did not have a significant reign until after word had leaked that he was probably on his way out.

Spike was a beast. He debuted killing anything that moved...winning the IP and Galaxian titles within a month of each other. No one else had QUITE that level of success.

In my Classics fed, Caiman went undefeated for 6 months in game time before losing to Galaxian Heavyweight Champion Omega in an awesome match.

Oh, and I forgot, SKINHEAD, won the Light Heavyweight Title in his debut match on the New Year's Day Show and defended it every week until July 7 of that year, 1994 (2097 for the rest of us) I think. That would be something like 25-26 matches straight to start his career, if my quick-math is good.

The closest is Payback in my GWF fed, he is currently 15-1-1. His only loss I beleive is to Valour who he beat for the GWF Title later on.
