WOW! With Rhino out of the running, things are looking very good for Wresling's Worst Nightmare... Who's match against 'The Prodigy' was the highlight of the show...
Disappointed that Homicide got knocked out of the running in such crappy fashion.

Thanks for the comments Pariah! RING OF HONOR Television Taping #5 February 6, 2015 William J. Myers Pavilion Baltimore,MarylandROH World Tournament:Third Round:Kevin Steen versus Davey RichardsA great match! The action went back and forth for several minutes until Steen landed a F-CINQ but Richards countered with a school boy roll up that nearly put Steen away! Richards ran with the offense but would be caught with a running lariat a few minutes later that seemed to deflate his sails. After a powerbomb on the ring apron, Steen one again used F-CINQ but kept his opponent's shoulders down for the duke. (****) ROH World Tag Team Tournament: First Round: Mike Bennett & Tommaso Ciampa versus Briscoe Brothers
Stunning outcome! The Briscoes seemed to be 'off' this evening as the thrown together team simply dominated the tournament favorites! After Ciampa used PROJECT CIAMPA on Mark, the hodge-podge duo advanced to the next round. (** 1/2) ROH World Tag Team Tournament: First Round: House of Truth(Elgin/Rhino) versus Young BucksTruth Martini's team lucked out as the Young Bucks missed their finishers on numerous occasions and was able to stay alive in the first round because of the Buck's mistakes! After Nick Jackson missed a 450 SPLASH, Rhino leveled him with a GORE for the referee to slap the mat three times. (****) ROH World Tournament: Third Round:El Generico versus Roderick StrongA match that Generico lost rather than Strong won! El Generico missed the BRAINBUSTAAAHHHH! on several instances and Strong was able to capitalize with high impact moves. Strong caught El Generico in a crossbody block and then executed a textbook SICK KICK to move on to the final round. (* 1/2) ROH World Tag Team Tournament: First Round: Future Shock versus C&C Wrestle Factory
The duo of O'Reilly and Adam Cole worked really well and kept the C&C Wrestle Factory reeling through the entire match. After a running elbow smash, Adam Cole tagged out to O'Reilly and he performed a breathtaking RegalPlex to score the pinfall on Caprice Coleman. (* 1/2). ROH World Tag Team Tournament: First Round: World's Greatest Tag Team versus S.C.U.M. (Jimmy Jacobs & Steve Corino)A missed oppurtunity for S.C.U.M. as they stormed the ring and blasted the WGTT with steel chairs and a kendo stick! The referee had no other choice but to disqualify the team and award the match to Benjamin and Haas. (DUD). **MAIN EVENT** ROH World Tournament: Final Round:Kevin Steen versus Roderick StrongThe action went back and forth for close to ten imutes and both men had several close calls but the tournament favorite reached deep down and manned up. After Strong blasted him with a SICK KICK, Steen foiled a turnbuckle charge with a devestating running clothesline and lifted Strong up for his finisher! Strong was brought down with a F-CINQ and Steen covered him for the three count! Old Skewl Ring of Honor has it's first World Heavyweight Champion! (*** 1/2) Thanks for joining us and hope to see you next time around.

Disappointed in the performance of The Briscoes... Thought they would take it all... Looks like it might come down to TWGTT vs. Eligin & Rhino for the belts...
And a big congrats to Kevin Steen on claiming the big prize... No shocker there, but he makes a great lead-off champion, IMO...
Great work!

Thanks for the comments Pariah! RING OF HONOR Television Taping #6 February 12, 2015 THE TURNER HALL BALLROOM Milwaukee, WisconsinBriscoe Brothers versus American WolvesWow! A great match! Both teams showed the other exactly how they should be considered a threat to whomever wins the ROH World Tag Tournament and put on a wrestling clinic to the fans in the ballroom. However everything must end and Mark Briscoe caught Davey Richards with a CUTTHROAT DRIVER for the pinfall. (****). Jimmy Jacobs versus Mike MondoMondo pushed Jimmy around throughout the bout and even used the NO FEAR DDT early on in the contest. After a Mondo Facebuster, Mike Mondo covered his opponent and the referee slapped the mat three times. (* 1/2) C & C Wrestle Factory versus Young BucksThis match was fought back and forth for close to fifeteen minutes with both teams missed numerous finishers! The Young Bucks, on several occasions, landed their tag finisher MORE BACK FOR YOUR BUCK but was unable to score a pin. Later, Matt executed N'Sync for the three count on Cedric Alexander. (** 1/2). Jay Lethal versus Rhett TitusLethal dominated throughout the match and after only several minutes- locked on the LETHAL INJECTION for the duke. (*). ROH World Tag Team Tournament: Second Round: House of Truth(Elgin/Rhino) versus World Greatest Tag TeamAnother close one! Truth Martini's duo and the WGTT traded moves and finishing maneuvers for close to ten minutes before Rhino landed GORE! on Shelton Benjamin for the victory! (***). El Generico versus HomicideHomicide was dominating the masked luchador and even clamped on GRINGO KILLAH twice but was unable to seal the deal. Homicide tossed his opponent into the ropes but was the recipient of a flying elbow. Only moments later, El Generico locked on the BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!! (*** 1/2). ROH World Tag Team Tournament: Second Round: Mike Bennett & Ciampa versus Future ShockSuprisingly an one sided bout! Bennett & Ciampa tagged in and out and controlled the match by cutting the ring in half. Several finishers were applied on Future Shock before Ciampa blasted Adam Cole with a PROJECT CIAMPA for the pinfall. (**) **MAIN EVENT** ROH World Championship Title Rematch:Kevin Steen versus Roderick StrongThe action went back and forth for close to twenty minutes with neither combatant able to gain the upperhand. This match even included a segment where Steen locked on F-CINQ but Strong countered with a school boy roll up. Strong clammered to his feet and went for the SICK KICK but Steen countered with a school boy roll up of his own for a two count. Steen lifted up Strong and powerbombed him on the ring apron...unfortunately Strong fell to the ring floor and was unable to make it back into the squared circle before the referee finished the ten count. The referee awarded the bout to Steen as a result of a count out.(*** 1/2) Thanks for joining us and hope to see you next time around.

Superb showing by The Briscoes and American Wolves... Either team will make a tough challenge for whoever takes those tag straps...
Disappointed that Jacobs not only lost to Mondo... But, he appeared almost completely ineffective in the ring (He has not been faring well in my own fed, either)...
Nice win by El Generico... He is one individual that did not interest me much when I first started following the Indy feds... But, the more I see of him, the more I enjoy his escapades...
Looks like Steen and Strong had an excellent match... Steen is one tough customer... Hard to see anyone taking that title from him...
Looking forward to Elgin & Rhino vs. Bennett & Ciampa... Great action!

I am liking the victories by Mike Mondo and Jay Lethal, but seeing HoT over WGTT was the highlight, but too bad Roderick Strong lost. Overall it was another solid event, keep it coming...

Thanks for the comments Pariah and Crimson Cross!! RING OF HONOR Television Taping #7 February 18, 2015 The Sports House Redwood City, CaliforniaJimmy Jacobs versus Nigel McGuinnessJimmy Jacobs shutdown Nigel's offense and ruined the newcomer's debut with a RAILROAD SPIKE (***) Homicide versus Rhett TitusHomicide tossed Titus around like a sack of potatoes and landed DA GRINGO KILLER for the duke! (* 1/2) American Wolves versus C&C Wrestle FactoryThe American Wolves didn't even break a sweat against their opponents...after only a few minutes, Davey Richards clamped on the ANKLE LOCK on Caprice Coleman for the victory. (*) Roderick Strong versus Steve CorinoThese two locked up for several minutes with neither able to keep the other down for more than a second until Corino landed a running elbow. The King of Old School brought out the foreign object and used the fork to gouge his way to a pinfall. (***) Young Bucks versus Briscoe BrothersThe Briscoes showed exactly why they are the team to beat in the ROH regardless of not wearing the tag straps and put the hurt on the Young Bucks. After several minutes of toying with Matt Jackson, Mark Briscoe used a FOOTBALL TACKLE to get the three count. (**) Mike Mondo versus Jay LethalMike Mondo continued his win streak against the "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal and executed a NO FEAR DDT for the ref to slap the canvas three times. (** 1/2) ROH World Heavyweight Championship Non-Title MatchKevin Steen(ch) versus El GenericoThe action went back and forth for almost ten minutes! El Generico had the champion on the ropes and signaled for THE BRAINBUSTTTTAAAA! but Steen countered with a belly to belly duplex. Steen quickly executed a high angle senton bomb and covered the stunned challenger for the count. (*** 1/2) **MAIN EVENT** ROH World Tag Team Championship Tournament Final Round:House of Truth versus Tommassa Ciampa & Mike BennettOMG! Soooo many close pin attempts...this match was a fantastic finale to determine the ROH Tag Champs as both teams gave it their all and left nothing behind! However, the end had to eventually happen and at the twenty minute mark- Bennett tossed Rhino into the ropes and would be the reciepient of a GORE! Rhino covered him for the victory! As the broadcast went off the air, Truth Martini was jumping up and down in the center of the ring as Rhino and Elgin stood on the turnbuckle holding up their newly won titles. (****) Thanks for joining us and hope to see you next time around.

Congrats to Elgin & Rhino on capturing tag team gold! They'll be a tough pair to bring down... but, there are some very talented teams just waiting on their doorstep, I'm sure...
Loved watching Jacobs walk away with a win... And Steen's title defense against El Generico looked to be an exciting match... Super solid action!
