I enjoyed Sandman in the original ECW.
That was really the genius of Heyman, because I thought Sandman was a really good all around worker. But once I saw him in the ECW, in regular matches, he wasn't that great. Heyman really knew how to show the positives of a worker.
But again I enjoyed that majority of Sandman's career and respect him a ton for what he put his body through.

I have to say that his ECW run was his best time in the wrestling biz, I didn't really mind him when he joined WCW as Hardcore Hak but after that I didn't care for him that much. In the end he will have a spot in the history of wrestling...

I can't say this is too much of a shock, but he was a ton of fun at a live show. I have been watching the Sandman from his ECW days and even onto the indy circuit. His entrance in ECW was something that had to be experienced live....especially at special shows like the ECW Fright Fight and the like.

I remember when Sandman first started out years ago in the old Tri-State Wrestling Alliance and he brought his feud with J.T. Smith to ECW(Eastern Championship Wrestling)
