EDDIE EDWARDS VS ADAM COLE
Cole got a 2 count with the FLYING CROSSBODY. Edwards came back with a chin checker and made the cover for a 1 count. Edwards gave Cole a belly to back sit-out facebuster and made the cover and scored a 2 count. Edwards hit diving double knees and made the cover and scored a 2 count. Cole fought back and hit the FLORIDA KEY for a 2 count. Edwards came back with the DIE HARD to get the 3 count and move into the finals.
WINNER OF THE MATCH: EDDIE EDWARDS

RHINO VS MICHAEL ELGIN
Truth Martini brought both of his men to the ring and bragged that the winner of this match would beat Eddie Edwards and become the ROH TV Champion. Elgin then quickly pinned Rhino with the Rolling Deadlift German Suplex. Martini quickly returned to the ring and the House of Truth members had a good laugh at the expense of ROH fans as it became obvious the ruse of the Finger Poke of Doom had just played itself out in ROH. (The dreaded snake-eyes showed up on Rhino’s PIN 5(2)).

SEMIFINALS OF THE ROH HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT
DAVEY RICHARDS VS EL GENERICO
Richards nearly had a quick win with a suicide dive but Generico just got the shoulder up before the count of 3. Richards followed up with the Alarm Clock. Generico was also kicked to death by Richards. El Generico fought back but could not execute the BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!! Richards came back with the ANKLE LOCK but Generico reached the ropes to break the hold. Richards went right back to the ANKLE LOCK but still couldn’t get the submission. Another ANKLE LOCK and again no submission. Generico was again kicked to death. Richards followed up with a multiple suplex assault and made the cover and got the 3 count.
WINNER OF THE MATCH: DAVEY RICHARDS

KEVIN STEEN VS SHELTON BENJAMIN
Steen gets a 2 count with F-CINQ. Steen follows up with another F-CINQ for another 2 count. Steen then hits the PACKAGE PILEDRIVER and gets the 3 count.

ROH TV TITLE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
EDDIE EDWARDS VS MICHAEL ELGIN W/TRUTH MARTINI
Elgin scored a 1 count with the Deadlift Powerbomb. Elgin followed up with a flying shoulderblock and cover for another 1 count. Elgin would hit the SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB but barely even get a 1 count. Elgin followed up with another SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB but could only get a 2 count. Edwards came back to get a 2 count with the DIE HARD. Edwards hit diving double knees and made the cover and thought he got a 3 count but, thanks to Martini, Elgin’s foot was on the ropes and the pin was nullified. Edwards once again hit the DIE HARD and made the cover and Martini could not make the distraction as the ref counted 1-2-3.

ROH HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
DAVEY RICHARDS VS KEVIN STEEN
Right away in the match, Steen was kicked to death. And later was kicked to death again. Richards applied the ANKLE LOCK but Steen got to the ropes to break the hold. Richards would then score a 2 count with a superplex. And then again, Steen was kicked to death. Richards then went back to the ANKLE LOCK and Steen had to tap out.

Did not expect to see BOTH American Wolves walking outta there with gold around their waist (Truth be told, I expected neither to walk outta there wearing gold, but I accept that I suck at predictions)... Nice work! Looking forward to watching this fed develop... If it's even half as good as your others, we're in for a real treat!

I need a clarification on the Young Bucks.

I am using ROHOnline version and the card reads for Matt Jackson's MOONSAULT(roll) that the move works on a roll of 1-4 and misses on a 5 or 6. But it reads the exact same for Nick Jackson's 450 SPLASH.

Can someone give me what the actual rule is on Matt's MOONSAULT?

Looks like there are a few errors on the ROHOnline version.

Noticed this... I just treat Matt's FINISHER in the same manner as Nick's... It works on a roll of 1-4 and misses on 5-6... With +1 being the fixed finisher rating... Of course, I might be wrong - Just a guess...

O’Reilly trapped Mondo in the GUILLOTINE CHOKE but could not get the submission. Mondo came back and got a 2 count with the NO FEAR DDT. The Mondo Facebuster just missed getting the 3 count. Mondo followed that up with another NO FEAR DDT but only got a 1 count. Mondo would then hit a flying elbow drop and just manage to get the 1-2-3.

And the roof blew off the building as James E. Cornette came out shaking fans hands.

CORNETTE: “ROH and VX Promotions go together like my momma and money! And Steve Corino, the only man in wrestling who John Laurinaitas thinks is scum and Jimmy Jacobs, who is uglier than Vince Russo’s Young Bloods of WCW script, come out here and get your asses handed to you by the C&C Connection!”

C&C CONNECTION VS JACOBS AND CORINO
Jimmy Jacobs gave Cedric Alexander a series of violent stomps and then made the cover but barely even got a 1 count. Jacobs got away with nailing Alexander with the RAILROAD SPIKE but again could only make a 1 count. Steve Corino tagged in and also hit Alexander with a foreign object a couple of times. The third time he used the foreign object, however, Corino was caught and the ref called for the bell.

Fans boo as the two members of S.C.U.M. put a beatdown on the C&C’s. Kevin Steen comes out to join them and they leave Alexander and Coleman in a bloody heap.

RHETT TITUS VS TOMMASO CIAMPA
Ciampa nailed Titus with running knees in corner and went for the cover and scored a 2 count. Titus fought back and got a 1 count with the MUFF DRIVER. Ciampa would come back himself and hit a twisting neckbreaker and get the 3 count.

Tommaso Ciampa grabs a mic and calls out Cornette and Killian.

CIAMPA: “You know what? I am so sick of S.C.U.M. I want a match, next fight card, with Steve Corino!”

CORNETTE: “You got it! And please, for all of us, beat his ass!”

MICHAEL ELGIN W/TRUTH MARTINI VS ADAM COLE
Cole nailed Elgin with a pump kick and made the cover and scored a 2 count. Cole followed up with the FLYING CROSSBODY and got another 2 count. Cole hit a flying splash and got yet another 2 count. Cole went for a sunset flip but Elgin sat down and hooked the legs and got a 2 count. Elgin suplexed Cole on the floor and Cole had to get back into the ring to avoid a countout loss. Elgin then gave Cole the SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB but only got a 2 count. Elgin continued his offense and hit a flying shoulderblock and made the cover and scored the 3 count.
WINNER OF THE MATCH: MICHAEL ELGIN

Before the next match begins, Jay Lethal comes out.

LETHAL: “I am the best wrestler on tv. That’s why I am issuing a challenge to the winner between Eddie Edwards and El Generico to defend the World TV Title against me on the next fight card.”

WGGT VS YOUNG BUCKS
Matt Jackson hit a +1 MOONSAULT on Shelton Benjamin and scored a 1 count. Nick Jackson hit a moonsault over the ropes and covered Benjamin for a 2 count. Matt tagged in and the Bucks gave Benjamin the MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK and Matt covered for the 1 count. Nick tagged back in and hit the 450 SPLASH and covered Benjamin and Charlie Haas made the save. The tide turned and the WGGT hit the LEAP OF FAITH on Matt and Haas covered for a 1 count. Benjamin tagged in and hit the PAYDIRT on Matt and just missed getting the 3 count. Another PAYDIRT scored another 2 count on Matt. The Bucks fought back and gave Haas the MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK and Matt covered for a 2 count. Nick missed the 450 SPLASH attempt to Haas. Benjamin hit the PAYDIRT on Nick and got a 2 count. The WGGT gave Nick a superkick into a German suplex and Haas covered for a 2 count. Benjamin tagged in and gave Nick a turnbuckle powerbomb and just missed getting a 3 count. Benjamin hit PAYDIRT and held Nick down for the 3 count as Haas made sure Matt could not make the save.
WINNERS OF THE MATH: WRESTLING’S GREATEST TAG TEAM

Fans chant alternates between “This is wrestling” and “That was awesome” after that match.

RHINO W/TRUTH MARTINI VS MIKE BENNETT W/BRUTAL BOB AND MARIA
Bennett scored a 1 count with the BOX OFFICE SMASH. A second BOX OFFICE SMASH scored a 2 count. A third BOX OFFICE SMASH scored a 1 count. A fourth BOX OFFICE SMASH scored a 2 count. As did a fifth. Bennett hit the Spear and covered for a 1 count. Bennett hit the PHOTO FINISH and made the cover but Martini made the distraction. Rhino came back with a side belly-to-belly suplex and made the cover and scored a 1 count. And repeated the move for another 1 count. Rhino then hit the Death Valley driver and made the cover and scored the 3 count as Bob could not make the distraction.

Fans heckle Bennett and Maria as they all stagger out of the ring and to the back.

The crowd was stunned at how fast this match went and barely had a chance to finally register that the title had even changed.

THE BRISCOES VS JAY LETHAL AND HOMICIDE
The JAY DRILLER gave Jay Briscoe a 2 count on Jay Lethal. Another JAY DRILLER and another 2 count on Lethal. Lethal came back with the LETHAL INJECTION and got a 1 count on Mark Briscoe. Homicide tagged in and attacked Mark with a fork. The LETHAL INJECTION was good enough for a 2 count on Jay Briscoe. The Briscoes came back with Mark getting a 1 count on Homicide with the CUT-THROAT DRIVER. Jay tagged in and gave Homicide the SLINGSHOT LARIAT for a 1 count. Homicide came back with a piledriver on Jay Briscoe and made the cover and scored a 2 count. Mark came back to get a 2 count on Homicide with a shooting star press. Homicide came back and attacked Jay Briscoe with a fork. A second fork attack on Jay Briscoe and the ref finally had enough of Homicide’s cheating.

The Wolves came out to run off Homicide and then got into a shoving match with the Briscoes.
