I was thinking about Monolith and how his mere presence should have some kind of psychological affect on his opponent (except for someone like Wolf who is fearless). To handle something like that, I thought an averaging of the physical attributes could potentially be used to represent the presence of a character. In order for this to work, we need to assign points for each value. I'll keep it simple
-5 = 1 -4 = 2 -3 = 3 -2 = 4 -1 = 5 0 = 6 +1 = 7 +2 = 8 +3 = 9 +4 = 10 +5 = 11
Example: Paganax ag = 0 = 6 pw = -4 = 2
6 + 2 = 8/2 = 4
Presence would be -2
Now let's take Witchdoctor ag = +3 = 9 pw = -1 = 5
9 + 5 = 14/2 = 7
Presence would be +1
Now how do these factor into the game mechanics.
for each 2 points better your opponent has, -1 to die rolls and plus one to your pin rating.
so in this case with Paganax having a presence of -2 and Witchdoctor having a presence of +1, every roll for Witchdoctor would incur a minus 1 penalty (3 points worse than Paganax).
This should not give a bonus to the "superior" wrestler, but will give them an advantage in the match.
It needs some work, but what do you all think?
