I know Lucha isn't the new federation we are getting. but after this latest announcement
According to the Observer, there is some talk that Lucha Underground won't be producing new episodes while "Apprentice" is being shot. Tapings for season one will conclude soon and a blow off show will apparently air on Aug. 5.
It is important that they see how a game with Filsinger games can keep them in the line light and give their fans that LU Fix while they are off. Just sayin
Prediction is that it will not be AIW. I am guessing Tom makes that official at Galactic Con.

If there's an AIW set coming and at G-con then it would make more sense to announce it, as with other sets, beforehand with wrestler names released leading up to the con. I think right now is too early to say AIW will be released at the con, should that be the case.

It makes much more sense to me to announce AIW now and release it at G-Con in Cleveland and give the home base the first chance to purchase it.

Especially since there'll be no COTG Set release at the con and that is usually a big draw of GalactiCon. (Not saying there won't be ANY COTG release, just not the next set. 2131 is slated for July.) |
