Sweet, I love that Tournament Me too! I wish it was over Labor Day weekend again as usual though as I am scheduled to work the next morning on Monday in Las Vegas, but it is no big deal as I can use a personal day to take the day off and fly home. |

This is awesome news! Since they announced it so far in advance, my friend and I are looking into flights and hotel to see how much it will be.

Since they announced it so far in advance, my friend and I are looking into flights and hotel to see how much it will be. regarding the hotel, for convenience I would recommend staying at the Howard Johnson's on Reseda Boulevard. From there it is just about a block and a half walk to PWG. Last Friday before PWG's latest show, for the second time, they gave me a free suite upgrade because I have stayed there so often in the past. I also like how every room has an unstocked minifridge to keep beer and anything else fresh all weekend long. But if you stay there, book your room early because the hotel now always sells out in advance on PWG nights. |

It will be interesting to see which 24 wrestlers are competing in BOLA this year. ROH is now apparently running shows against PWG's biggest shows as ROH has an Atlanta show the same time as BOLA and ROH also this week announced an IPPV for the exact same night as PWG's anniversary in July.
ROH doing a show the weekend of BOLA might prevent guys like Matt Sydal, ACH, and Cedric Alexander from participating, but I am confident PWG will still have a great field of 24 competitors for BOLA.

It definitely sounds like ROH is doing this intentionally which is disappointing. Very much a scumbag WWE move. Indy feds (I'm including ROH in this instance) don't need to be this cutthroat with each other. They aren't really in direct competition and having positive relationships would help the entire community you would think. |
