If I am missing a card (that I lost), can I order it again individually without ordering the full set? Or am I out of luck?

You can no longer order individual cards from the store, you have to secondary market. That being said, give me a PM with your wants/needs and I may be able to hook you up.

Is it from a newer set? If it is, post it here. We all get a few sample cards with each order so many of us have several doubles

So I looked through my first set. I am looking for Brute from 2087. I first bought the starter set more than 20 years ago.
