coming soon...   VARSITY and SABRE AKA THE MORAL MAJORITY![/color] I am proud to announce that TGBITGI (The Greatest Bootlegs in the Galaxy Inc.) has been given permission to update Varsity and Sabre for the GWFZ!!! Oh that's right! Everyone favorite CAC inter-gender super duo gets a face lift in 2008! I'd like to personally than Werner for his as - always superb job on the art... As for the cards, out of respect for the game I've pretty much kept to the original stats on Varsity and Sabre, with a few tweaks here and there...updated a few things...you'll love them! Just like Umagapotamus I am giving these cards away and will be giving them away along with the long awaited SAINT BERNARD! There will be limited copies of Varsity and Saint Bernard and an even more rare collectors amount available for Sabre (100 printings). The printings are final and will not be re-printed if we run out. Each person will receive one copy of each card this time as opposed to 2 or 3 (like Umagapotamus was)... First come first serve... PM me for address titles VARSITY AND SABRE. No charge. I'm really excited to be releasing these cards...Varsity and Sabre were always some of my favorites. I have decided to make extra prints of Sabre (even though I had planned not to) based on the mad response already. I figured 100 copies would be good and it looks like we're going to go over that a tad...there should be more than enough copies of Varsity so go around... Give it a few weeks - instead of turning mailing out free game cards into a part time job I'm going to wait until the requests die down enough to hopefully mail everyone's stuff out all at once... Anyone who PM'd me will get them for sure. And no problem... Swarm |

This is another in a long line of examples of why Swarm is such a productive asset to this community. There aren't too many people who come out of pocket to support the hobby...with the only return being the smiles put on other people's faces.
I'm glad to see Tom is allowing for art/stat re-interpretations of some characters from the past. Alternative approaches are good for the game and can give re-newed visibility to what has already come before (but may be laying dormant due to time).
Is there anyone else you have on your TGBITGI radar for possible release down the road?

I think they look great and would even like to see someone possibly redue the Theatre of Pain, even though Comedy is still around.

I'm Tom says it's okay to update a Filsinger-released product for personal use, it's fine. This isn't official. It's not canon. If you don't like the cards, don't use them. Rob AS STATED isn't charging for the cards. |

People can decide for themselves if they want these cards, how they feel about them, etc....I think the original post has served its purpose, so I'm locking this thread. If you're interested, you know what to do.
