Being that I dedicate so much time to my LOW fed and now with the WWF/E set that Swarm did, I don't have as much time to play the Indy fed sets individually. So I've decided to lump them together into 1 fed called SUPLEX CITY WRESTLING. SCW will not have it's own titles and instead the individual promotions titles will be defended here. I'm going to keep the title lineage from the indy feds I started and just keep it going. It should be interesting.  |

We are in the Convention Hall in Asbury Park, NJ and the lights are out in the crowd. When a familiar sound is heard...
This video ends and a new video is put on the titantron...
The lights come on and we see that Paul Heyman has entered the arena...the crowd chants ECW! ECW! ECW! as he walks to the ring...
Heyman:
"Ladies and Gentleman my name is Paul Heyman and I'm the General Manager of SUPLEX CITY WRESTLING! Asbury Park holds a special place in my heart and that's why it will be the home of the SCW. Asbury Park is SUPLEX CITY! I was the innovator, pioneer and creator of a national phenomenon called ECW! (crowd chants ECW over and over). But the powers that be took my dream and turned into a nightmare and blasphemed the name of EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING! I went to work for these powers that be and bought my time and made a lot of money in the meantime, until I was ready to unleash my newest creation...SUPLEX CITY WRESTLING! This promotion will feature the very best talent the indy scene has to offered. Raw athletes who have not been ruined by the evil empire known as KINGDOM WRESTLING NETWORK and the other promotion that I won't name. What you will get here are Paul Heyman guys...and girls. The very best only will come through these doors and a few surprises as well. We have a great line up prepared for you to start things off with a bang."
Suddenly...
Bam Bam Bigelow walks into the arena and into the ring...
Bigelow:"What's up Asbury Park! Hey Paul. (Bam Bam Bigelow shakes Paul's hand) Paul you know you can't have a show in Asbury without inviting me. I know I have played with the big boys but I'm excited to see what you have going on here. I want to see some action tonight, so if there's anybody back in the locker room who want's to fight with Bam Bam bring it on."
The crowd anticipates to see who will answer the call when...
Chris Candido along with Tammy enters the arena and walks to the ring...
Candido:"It seems like people forget that I'm from New Jersey as well and Asbury Park is like a second home for me. Bam Bam we have a history together. We've been friends and foes. But tonight, for good old times and to show the young men in the locker room how it's done, let's do this! Let's give Asbury Park what they want to see." (Bigelow and Candido shake hands)
Heyman:"There you go fans I told you we would have surprises here! Tonight Bam Bam Bigelow will face Chris Candido!"

Solid start for Suplex City... Very cool that Galloway captured gold on opening night... Would've liked to see Lethal duo the same, but it wasn't in the cards...

Paul Heyman invites New Jersey's own Monster Factory Wrestling School owner Larry Sharpe to the ring. Heyman interviews Sharpe who is very excited to see Suplex City Wrestling here in New Jersey and hopes that some of his students eventually make it to SCW. Heyman suggets Sharpe shows the fans some of his skills and has the perfect sparring partner...BROCK LESNAR! When Lesnar enters the ring, Heyman has change of heart and suggest instead of sparring match they make it a official match. Sharpe, who is not in ring gear, doesn't want any part of this and is tries to leave the ring but is grabbed by Brock and the match is official.

Brock Lesnar defeated Larry Sharpe with a F-5
Match Notes: Lesnar destroys Sharpe and is attacked by Bam Bam Bigelow but is able to withhold the attack and eventually come back and nails Bigelow with several suplexes. Heyman makes a match for next week between Brock and Bam Bam

Wow! Lots of gold changing hands... Unfortunately, we didn't get to see Irish Airborne claim the Combat Tag Team Championship...
Lesnar remains on the warpath... I look forward to someone shutting him down... But, I doubt BamBam is going to be the one to do it... Suplex City hits the ground running!

Lots of title changes... Sweet!
Too bad The Batiri lost... But, it was very cool seeing the Airborne and Galloway pick up some gold...
Not a fan of Lesnar (not at all), but he certainly seems to be dominating the competition...
Entertaining stuff!

Some really great matchups... Looks like Matt Cross and Ricochet put on a show... And I'm happy to see Callihan continue his reign as CZW champ...
Watching Sydal against PJ Black would've been like watching a human highlight reel... Great stuff!
