UWF TITLE TOURNAMENT
BRACKET D
Bo: Welcome to the UWF. Tonight will be the last bracket before we have the finals next week to crown a UWF champion
Paul: And Nigel has one more week to apoligize before things get bad for him.
Bo: Just let it go buddy.
Paul: Would you?
Bo: We’re not talking about me.
Paul: Let’s just start the matches tonight.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“PRETTY BOY” LARRY SHARPE (0-0) vs. RICK STEINER (0-0)
Larry gave it all he got....awww, who are we kidding, what he got was a butt kicking. It was just sad really. Larry was able to get a pin by using the ropes, but after that he was just getting beat down.
Finally Rick got tired of it and put him down with TOP ROPE BULLDOG for the win.
Larry Sharpe (3), Rick Steiner (1) Match Rating: **
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ADRIAN ADONIS (0-0) vs. ANGELO MOSCA (0-0)
Bo climbs in the ring before the bell rings to let everyone know that due to the two wrestlers being brawlers this match will be a NO DQ match. I do not want anothermatch like we had with Terry Funk & Dick Murdoch being counted out due to their brawling, depriving the fans of not only a good match, but seeing either wrestler in the UWF.
Adrian had a rough time with Angelo’s strength. Angelo used his SLEEPER a couple of times in the match to wear down Adrian. Adrian withstood the attack and in a suprise move hit Angelo with a bulldog for the 1...2...3!
Adrian Adonis (4) Match Rating: **
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WAHOO MACDANIEL (0-0) vs. TYPHOON (0-0)
Wahoo was able to get a pin with his TOMAHAWK CHOP, but only got a 2 count. Now that Typhoon was down, Wahoo put him in the Boston Crab. Typhoon barely reached the ropes to break the hold. But as soon as he was able to get up, Wahoo was able to hit him again with the TOMAHAWK CHOP for the win.
Typhoon (5) Match Rating: ** ½
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JUNKYARD DOG (0-0) vs. TORIN CAELUM (0-0)
Torin had JD down within a minute and slapped the Torin Death Lock on, but JD held on. Torin proceeded to wrestle JD down on the mat. JD was able to get some quick offense in, but Torin quickly regained control and put JD away with abdominal stretch with the help of the ropes to win the match.
Torin Caelum (1), Junkyard Dog (3) Match Rating: **
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ANGELIS (0-0) vs. X-PAC (0-0)
X-pac scored first blood with the Bronco Buster. Angelis just could not slow down X-Pac, but all he needed to do was just get a hold of him once, and finally did. That was all she wrote as two moves later he did his FALLEN ANGEL (backdrop into a sitdown piledriver) for the win.
Angelis (2), X-Pac (1) Match Rating: * ½
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As X-pac gets up to leave the ring, Bo gets in the ring and puts the EXPLOSION (reverse German Suplex) on X-Pac then grabs the mic from Paul.
Bo: “As much as I detest you, I like the fact of watching you get beat on every week even more. So I will give you another chance. In two weeks you will be facing me for another chance to be in the UWF. If you win well you will be in the tournament for the US Title. Good Luck!”
Bo then spits on him and heads back to the announce table. Security then takes X-Pac to the back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STEVE AUSTIN (0-0) vs. MARTY JANETTY (0-0)
Was there any doubt how this would end up? It only took one STUNNER in less than three minutes to win this match. Total squash
Match Rating: DUD
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EARTHQUAKE (0-0) vs. KILLER KOWALSKI (0-0)
Neither big man was able to get an advantage. At one point Earthquake threw Killer into the turnbuckle and charged in. Right into the ref. Earthquake went to cover Killer, but then got frustrated and went to revive the ref. At another point in the match, Earthquake overheard Bo (announcer) talking about how fat he was and got upset. He then went over to Bo and told him that his wrestling skills sucked and that when he was a wrestler he didn’t do anything that impressed him anyway and then sucker punched him.
As he turned his back Bo then hit him with a clothesline from behind and then threw him back in the ring. Bo then just waited by the ring instead of going back to the announcer’s table. Killer then took advantage. He threw Earthquake into the turnbuckle and then hit him with a series of punches to the head. Earthquake fought back and was able to put Killer down with an avalanche, as he went for the cover Bo leaped on the apron. Earthquake went to confront him, but the ref stopped him and Bo slipped some brass knucks to Killer. Killer then hit Earthquake with the knucks, but only got a 2 count. Both men fought out of the ring with Killer tossing him into the ringpost which caused Earthquake to bleed. Killer finally put the CLAW HOLD on Earthquake, but could still not get the pin. Killer hit him again with the brass knucks and got the win.
Earthquake (4), Killer Kowalksi (5) Match Rating: **** ½
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JIM LONDOS (0-0) vs. “Killer” TIM BROOKS (0-0)
Tim started out with a vicious beating as soon as the bell rung. If it wasn’t for the toughness of Jim the match would have been over early. Tim kept the pressure on though finally hitting Londos with a foreign object to get the win.
Jim Londos (4) Match Rating: **
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2nd round
RICK STEINER (1-0) vs. ADRIAN ADONIS (1-0)
Adrian went straight at Steiner and after just a few minutes Steiner tapped out to a figure four.
Rick Steiner (2) Match Rating: *
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WAHOO MCDANIEL (1-0) vs. TORIN CAELUM (1-0)
Torin dismantled Wahoo for most of the match. The announcers Bo & Paul discuss if Torin is the greatest wrestler of the 21st century. Wahoo fought back and was able to hit 2 TOMAHAWK CHOPS, but could not keep Torin down. Then it was TOMAHAWK CHOP after TOMAHAWK CHOP, but Torin wanted nothing else but be the champion. Torin was the champion in the GWF, but was stripped of the title after his injury at the hands of Morpheus and Ricken Prince. He is going to be back in the GWF soon, but we have him here right now. Torin was back on the offense, but seemed to want to toy with Wahoo more than go for the pin. Torin got really cocky and paid for it as Wahoo proceeded to rack up several tokens on Torin. Torin pulled the ref in front of him as Wahoo charged in, knocking the ref out. Torin took advantage and used a chair on Wahoo causing him to start bleeding. Torin put Wahoo in the CAELUM’S GRIP as the ref was waking up and the ref saw that Wahoo was out and awarded the match to Torin.
Wahoo McDaniel (3), Torin Caelum (9) Match Rating: *****
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ANGELIS (1-0) vs. STEVE AUSTIN (1-0)
Steve opened up a can of whoop ass on Angelis at the was not ready for. This was basically a squash as Austin finally ended the match with his STUNNER to get the win.
Angelis (3) Match Rating: *½
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
KILLER KOWALSKI (1-0) vs. TIM BROOKS (1-0)
Tim threw several punches, but they had no effect on Killer. Brooks loaded his elbow pad with something to gain the advantage. Tim then took it outside the ring opening up a gash on the forehead of Killer. This enraged Killer and he responded by slamming Tim’s head into the ringsteps causing him to bleed. With both men bleeding it really got out of hand as both men was in an all out brawl several times. Tim ended up using something to jab in the forehead of Killer. The ref finally had enough and DQ Tim, awarding the match to Killer Kowalski.
Killer Kowalski (2), Tim Brooks (2) Match Rating: *
