BRACKET B
Paul: “Tonight we welcome back our audience and bring you Bracket B for our UWF Title.”
Bo: “So far we have seven wrestlers now signed. They are Tito Santana, Nikita Koloff, Crusher, Timber, Chris Adams, Rocker Max MacArcher, and Paul’s favorite wrestler Nigel McGuinness.”
Paul: “Don’t start with me, we just started the show. And as I recall you got knocked out as well.”
Bo: “Trying to help you out, but I guess that since you were out before me you couldn’t see that.”
Paul: “You’re lucky you are my friend.”
Bo: “Let’s just get on with our first match to see who else will be in the UWF.”

MICHAEL HAYES (0-0) vs. SOLAR FLARE (0-0)
Michael Hayes comes strutting to the ring. Solar Flare is all energy as he steps into the ring with Hayes.
The battle was mostly a brawl in the first few minutes even going outside the ring a couple of times. That is when Flare took over. Hayes had a lot of trouble with Flare’s speed. After a few pins, Flare finally put Hayes away with a slingshot leg drop over top rope for the win.
Michael Hayes (3) Match Rating: *½
Solar Flare makes a statement and does a PALADIN MISSLE (top rope headbutt) for good measure.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GINO HERNANDEZ (0-0) vs. EDDIE GILBERT (0-0)
Gino got right in the face of Gilbert, but Gilbert pushed him. Both men got into a pushing match with Gilbert getting the upper hand. Eddie did a HOT SHOT (drop on top rope), but Gino kicked out. This seemed to frustrate Eddie because he ended up throwing a fireball in Gino’s face so the ref had no choice but to DQ Eddie.
Gino Hernandez (2) Match Rating: *
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STING (0-0) vs. JIM NEIDHART (w/ April Hunter) (0-0)
Sting gave Niedhart no chance for a comeback and put up three tokens on him before putting him in the SCORPION DEATHLOCK, but April distracted the ref. That didn’t help though as Sting continued to beat him down. He then did a Stinger Splash and covered for the pin, 1...2...thre...April put Neidhart’s foot on the rope to break the count. While Sting was arguing with the ref about April, Neidhart attacked him from behind. Neidhart was able to pin Sting with a belly-to-belly suplex, but barely got a 1 count. Neidhart spent a lot of time stroking his beard and laughing instead of taking care of business. He then charged into the corner, but Sting moved and Neidhart went straight into the ringpost and falling out of the ring. Sting then went after him and slammed Neidhart’s head into the guardrail opening up Neidhart. Sting then did a SCORPION DEATHLOCK, but it was all academic at this point as Neidhart was unconcious after getting his head slammed into the guardrail. Sting goes on in the tournament.
Jim Neidhart (9), Sting (2) Match Rating: ***

IRON SHEIK (0-0) vs. DRAKE YOUNGER (0-0)
Drake tried hard but the Sheik gained control early and finished off Drake with a kick with his loaded boot for the win.
Drake Younger (2) Match Rating: DUD

RICK RUDE (0-0) vs. KILLER KHAN (0-0)
Neither man had an advantage in this one. Rude was finally able to put Khan into his RUDE AWAKENING, but Khan got right back up and did not even seem fazed by the move. Again the match went back and forth. Finally Khan was able to use his brawling to take the advantage and put Rude away with the Mongolian Chop.
Rick Rude (1) Match Rating: ½*
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the match Khan went up to Paul because Paul kept talking about how ugly Khan was. Khan confronted him, but Paul started talking about Khan’s mother and then hit him with the microphone. Paul then said he is going to lay down the law from now on, so Nigel better apoligize to him or else.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GREG VALENTINE (0-0) vs. BROCK LESNAR (0-0)
Valentine knew he was outclassed all the way and quickly was able to hit Brock with a running clothesline that put Brock down. Valentine then went straight for his FIGURE FOUR, but Brock was strong enough to break the hold. Paul once again mentioned that he will interview the winner, but that this time it will be different. Greg then tried a shoulder breaker, but could not get the pin. Bo said that Valentine was smart to try another pin as he needs to keep Brock down on the mat. Paul said that Valentine was stupid because he should have stayed on the legs instead of trying to injure Brock’s shoulder. Greg got frustrated and then threw Brock out of the ring. He then went and did a FIGURE FOUR with the ringpost (ala Bret Hart). This must have done something to Brock’s leg because he ended up being counted out. Greg goes on in the tournament.
Brock Lesnar (2) Match Rating: *
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Paul climbs in the ring to interview Greg Valentine.
Paul says that he is suprised that Valentine beat Brock Lesnar, but he really should not be, since he uses his head instead of brawn and that makes all the difference in the world. Greg says thank you and that he admires Paul for all the work he has done before. Paul says that tonight Greg cannot be called a wimp anymore as he went straight at Brock Lesnar and put him away to advance in the tournament and prove that he is one of the tough guys. Greg mentions that Paul was also a tough guy and that he would be honored to wrestle in any federation that Paul or Bo had. Both men shake hands and they go to commercial.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MAD DOG VACHON (0-0) vs. SHANE DOUGLAS (0-0)
Mad Dog was in the ring when Shane charged the ring and hit Mad Dog with a chair before the bell rung. The ref had no choice but to throw the match out and gave Mad Dog the chance to continue on.
Match Rating: DUD
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ARIK CANNON (0-0) vs. HARLEY RACE (0-0)
As both men are in the ring Arik gets right in the face of Harley Race. Race got mad and shoved Arik, Arik came back and shoved Race. Arik came back and punched Race as the bell rung to start the match. Race fought back and pinned Arik once before throwing him out of the ring. He then slammed Arik’s head on the guardrail which opened up a cut on Arik’s forehead. Race was methodical through the match. Arik made a couple of comebacks, but Race quickly regained control with minimum damage. Race finally put Arik out of his misery with the PILEDRIVER to advance.
Arik Cannon (3) Match Rating: *½

2nd Round Bracket B
SOLAR FLARE (1-0) vs. GINO HERNANDEZ (1-0)
Gino had trouble with Flare’s high flying, but finally gained control. He kept biting on the forehead of Flare which finally made him bleed. Flare fought back covering Gino for a pin after a fallaway slam and once more after a leg drop over top rope, but Gino was able to kick out on both accounts. He later used his PALADIN MISSLE (top rope headbutt), but again Gino kicked out. Gino tried to fight back, but Flare stopped him and regained offense every time. Flare climbed to the top again and leaped off to do his PALADIN MISSLE, but this time he missed. As Flare was trying to stand up, Gino threw powder in Flare’s eyes. Just for good measure he did it again. Flare was rolling around the ring and yelling that his eyes are buring, while Gino was giving the crowd a hard time. Gino then threw Flare outside the ring, and followed up by throwing him into the guard rails. The ref tried to break it up, but Gino just pushed him out of the way and continued his assault. He slammed Flare’s head into the guardrail again. The ref had enough of this and DQ Gino, allowing Flare to continue in the tournament.
Solar Flare (3), Gino Hernandez (5) Match Rating: ****
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STING (1-0) vs. IRAN SHEIK (1-0)
Sting was pumping the crowd up as he was making his way to the ring. Both men traded punches and that is how the match went, until Sting let out a scream and took complete control. Two Stinger Splashes and a SCORPION DEATHLOCK later and this match was over.
Iran Sheik (5) Match Rating: **½
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
KILLER KHAN (1-0) vs. GREG VALENTINE (1-0)
Khan made his way to the ring and started staring at Paul. When Greg made his way to the ring, Paul gave him the thumbs up. Bo just shook his head. Khan seemed to be more focused on Paul, then his opponent and Greg made use of this. He ended up putting Khan down with the FIGURE FOUR.
Killer Khan (2) Match Rating: *
Paul and Greg nod at each other. As the ref was telling Greg he won, he still had on the FIGURE FOUR and would not let go. Greg then held on to the ropes for leverage and then a loud snap was heard and Khan was yelling. It was obvious that Greg had broke the leg of Khan. Khan will be out for 7 cards.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MAD DOG VACHON (1-0) vs. HARLEY RACE (1-0)
Two old school tough guys in one match. This was just an all out brawl. Mad Dog made a mistake though, and Race took advantage and ended the match quickly with an Indian Death Lock for the win.
Match Rating: DUD
