Card 01 –Phase One – Franklin Horner Community Centre, Etobicoke

Team FIST (Johnny Gargano* & Chuck Taylor * v. Philly’s Most Wanted (BLK Jeez & Joker)
Philly’s Most Wanted have complete control of this one from the outset first against Gargano and then against Taylor. Jeez connects with a Million $ Dropkick on Taylor but Taylor is able to counter Joker’s backdrop with a piledriver. Joker gets the best of a brawl with Gargano on the floor allowing Jeez to get back into the match. Back and forth at this point. Gargano and Joker go to the floor and struggle over a chair. Gargano gets control of the weapon and decks Joker. The referee calls for the disqualification and the fans are not pleased. All four men brawl after the bell with Philly’s Most Wanted getting the upper hand and sending FIST retreating to the back.

Drew Gulak ** v. The Hobo
Gulak gets on the mic and runs down his opponent telling the fans he is in Ontario Championship Wrestling to clean up the ring and rid the Province of filth like The Hobo. Gulak quickly gets the action to the mat but Hobo is able to survive a sharp shooter and then escapes a GU-LOCK. Hobo has the fans behind him but cannot get anything going. A Nazi Stretch nearly ends it. Gulak comes off the top with a crossbody block but Hobo gets his shoulder up to avoid defeat. A pair of back body drops knocks the remaining resistance out of Hobo and Gulak applies a sharp shooter for the submission victory.

Icarus v. Shane Strickland
The fans expected the action to be quick in this one and that is exactly how things get started. Back to back missile dropkicks gets a near fall for Strickland. Icarus bails and Strickland is out after him dropping the Team FIST member with a chair shot across the back. Icarus stops Strickland with a running lariat in the corner and then takes the action to the floor. Both men tear up ringside. Icarus grabs a chair and brings it down on Strickland’s back. The bell sounds and just like his fellow Team FIST members earlier, Icarus drops the match via disqualification.

C & C Wrestle Factory (Caprice Coleman & Cedrick Alexander***) v. The Dynasty (Scorpio Sky & Joey Ryan)
Coleman trades moves with Sky for a few minutes before being joined by Alexander for a suplex/senton combo but C & C miss the C & C CONNECTION COMBO. Both teams are able to make tags and Coleman gets the advantage on Ryan and connects with an Asai Moonsault for a one count. Alexander gets into the match again with a Sky Fall Frog Splash for a near fall. Ryan is able to avoid a C & C CONNECTION COMBO. Sky is in and dominates against Coleman. Alexander is able to tag into the match but Sky maintains his advantage with an Argle Bargle. Sky hits the ACE OF SPADES. Ryan blocks the pin save but Alexander kicks out. Sky then connects with an ACE CRUSHER AND ROLL INTO DRAGON SLEEPER. Ryan already has Coleman dumped to the floor and Alexander cannot escape the hold.

Adam Cole ** w/Mia Yim v. Nick Madrid
Cole is out to solid heat and gets the upper hand immediately. A Corona Kick downs Madrid for a near fall. Madrid catches Cole on the top and a toss to the mat gives the fans something to cheer for. Madrid connects with a leg lariat and then RUNNING OF THE BULLS but Cole is able to get the shoulder up. It is all Madrid until Cole avoids a missile dropkick and nails him with a Corona Kick for a two count. Back and forth action follows and Madrid traps Cole in a Scorpio Death Lock but Cole makes the ropes. Madrid steps up his attack hits an implant DDT followed by Northern Lights Suplex. Madrid scrambles and hooks the leg for the three count. Both Cole and Yim are adamant that Cole had his shoulder up at three but the decision stands and Madrid has a big win.

Kimber Lee v. Saraya Knight
The pace at the outset of this one is quick. Knight gets the advantage and traps Lee in a BRIDLE ROCKING HORSE. Lee hangs in and battles back with chops and palm strikes. Knight gets the best of a brawl on the floor and goes for the submission with a KNIGHTMARE but again Lee is not finished. An impressive run by Knight includes side suplexes and DDTs. Lee barely avoids being counted out after a body slam on the floor. Knight keeps the pressure on and has just too many weapons on this occasion getting three count after a side suplex. Dominating win for one of England’s best.

Tim Donst ****, Shelton Benjamin & Robert Anthony v. The Legacy (Adam Pearce, Kyle O’Reilly *** & DJ Hyde)
Donst and Pearce work back and forth. Anthony is in after a defensive tag and Pearce counters a backdrop with a piledriver and then lands JUMPING PILEDRIVER. Anthony barely kicks out. Pearce applies a figure four leglock but Anthony makes the ropes. O’Reilly keeps the heat on Anthony with a GULLIOTINE CHOKE. Triple butterfly suplexes are impressive looking as are the following elbow strikes. Anthony goes into the ropes and on the rebound small packages O’Reilly for a near fall. Benjamin is in to a solid pop and battles O’Reilly who is able to make the tag to Hyde. Benjamin fails at a T-Bone suplex. Hyde strikes with a stunner followed by a SHADOW DRIVER. Benjamin kicks out of the cover. Scrap Iron covers after a Last Ride Lariat for a two count. Hangman’s Neckbreaker sends Benjamin to the floor and Pearce is out after him. Benjamin gets the upper hand outside. Donst tags in and crushes Pearce with DONSTITUTION for a near fall. Donst hits a second DONSTITUTION for another two count and then traps Pearce in a HYDRO LOCK. Pearce makes the ropes and then is able to catch Donst on the corner and tosses him to the mat. Hyde relieves Pearce and cracks Donst with a Summoning Lariat. Hyde is all over Donst including a running senton that sets up a powerbomb for a near fall. The action goes to the floor and Donst is able to send Hyde through a table with gut wrench suplex! The fans are chanting. Anthony hot tags in and back to back Ace Crushers have Hyde down and out. Hyde kicks out of the cover but Anthony follows with TACO PIZZA but cannot get the three count. Benjamin is fired up as he gains the ring and takes the fight outside but it is costly as Hyde gets the upper hand. O’Reilly is back into the match and nails a deathjump. O’Reilly cracks Benjamin with a chair at ringside and the fans are all over the referee. GUILLOTINE CHOKE and Benjamin makes the ropes. O’Reilly’s flying dropkick to seated opponent misses and Anthony tags in. It is back and forth. Donst tags in and catches O’Reilly flat out with a neck breaking clothesline in the corner. DONSTITIUTION but O’Reilly kicks out at the last second. The fans cannot believe it. O’Reilly counters an attempted Scorpion Leg Lock and Pearce is in gaining the advantage. Benjamin tags in and the fans explode at his back to back springboard clotheslines that send Pearce into the first row of fans. Pearce takes a tombstone but is able to counter out of a double leg spinebuster. Hyde is in and whips Benjamin into the corner several times and then nails a Cyclone Slam. Benjamin bails and Hyde is outside with a powerbomb onto the apron. The fans are all over Hyde as Benjamin is nearly counted out of the ring. Hyde is ready as Benjamin crawls under the ropes and crushes him with a SHADOWDRIVER for the three count. What a match.

Young Bucks (Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson) v. El Generico * & Bryan Danielson *
The fans are exhausted after the six man tag team war but give Danielson & Generico a solid ovation regardless. Danielson has a clear game plan to ground and pound and Nick Jackson has no response early on barely escaping a TRIANGLE CHOKE. Danielson moves to a CATTLE MUTILATION and Jackson makes the ropes. Danielson then goes back to the TRIANGLE CHOKE. Matt Jackson is in but Generico cuts him off. Jackson makes the ropes again forcing the break. Jackson flips out of an attempted German suplex and tags in his brother who puts Danielson to the mat with a sunset flip and follows with a MOONSAULT for a near fall. It is back and forth from this point. We get some great double team spots from the Bucks. The American Dragon and Matt Jackson trade whips into the corner and Jackson catches Danielson with a running lariat. However, Jackson’s follow up MOONSAULT misses the mark. Both teams are able to get tags. Nick Jackson and El Generico each go for a clothesline and both men crash to the mat. Jackson is on his feet first and MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK follows but does give the Bucks the win. Generico gets the best of a brawl on the floor and then lands the spaceman moonsault and Spike Brainbuster. Danielson mixes it up with both Bucks and then gives the momentum back to his partner. The Bucks get the upper hand with some double teaming on Generico leading to MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK for a near fall. Danielson is able to get back into the match and even things out. The Bucks again double team including a springboard spike tombstone on Danielson for a near fall. Nick Jackson nails a 450 SPLASH for a two count on Danielson before a superkick gets another two count. It is all Matt Jackson over Danielson including deathjumps and x-factors. A suicide plancha spills the action into the fans. Danielson gets the best of a brawl at ringside with series of forearms. Generico is in and dominates including a tombstone piledriver and spaceman moonsault. Nick Jackson gets the tag and clothesline Generico nearly out of his boots in the corner. The Bucks follow with a springboard spike tombstone and a buckle bomb into double knees. Generico is in a heap of trouble and rolls to the floor. Outside, Nick Jackson grabs a chair and cracks his masked opponent with it. The bell sounds and the night ends with a disqualification. The fans are jeering and chanting profanities at the Bucks.

Truly solid performances from some great talent in the card... It seems like 'tossing out the rulebook' was definitely in vogue, but that just served to turn up the heat going forward...

Team FIST seemed especially determined to cause mayhem, resulting in two DQ decisions against them... And I was really hoping Donst, Benjamin & Anthony would come out on top of The Legacy... Superb match, regardless...

As for The Young Bucks... There was probably no way they were going to defeat the duo of Danielson & El Generico... So, one might say, at least they went out on their terms...

Love the way you describe the action in the ring... Hope to see more... Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the feedback Pariah. Glad you enjoyed the action. Team FIST did cause some chaos but I am sure they will be facing the competitors from CZW again down the road and they specialized in chaos. The Legacy match was a blast to play out and was definitely one of my favourites recently. It was fun from the first roll to the last. As of the Bucks, I personally think they would have pulled out the win if they had not pushed things to far. Perhaps a rematch may be in order.

Card 02 –Gold Night One – Citadel Theatre, Hamilton, ON

Ontario Championship Wrestling Title Tournament Round One

Icarus * v. Delirious *
Chaos from the opening bell. Icarus gets backdropped to the floor in the opening moments and then run into the ringside table knocking the ring announcer to the floor. Back inside, Icarus catches Delirious on the top of the buckles and tosses him to the mat. They brawl on the floor again and Delirious comes out on top. Back in the ring, Delirious executes a BIZZARO DRIVER and moves on in the tournament.

Chuck Taylor * v. Shelton Benjamin
Taylor is jawing with the fans before the bell earning some solid heat. Benjamin smartens Taylor up almost immediately with a T-Bone suplex that sends Taylor to the floor. Outside, Taylor reverses a whip and Benjamin eats the ring post. Taylor cannot maintain any advantage and Benjamin goes to work with a leap frog and clothesline and a pair of springboard clotheslines. Taylor is able to counter and both men miss a series of moves until Benjamin hits another T-Bone suplex. Taylor comes back and hits a cross arm backbreaker but Benjamin battles back with a double leg spinebuster. Benjamin leap frogs and clotheslines followed by a springboard clothesline. Benjamin hooks the leg and gets the Snake Eyes win.

BLK Jeez v. Shane Strickland
Handshake gets this one started between these two CZW competitors. Strickland blocks a backdrop with a piledriver and then mounts the corner for a 450 SPLASH that proves too early to get the win. So Strickland hits a second one but is only rewarded with a two count. However, a third consecutive 450 SPLASH hits the mark and the fans count with the referee to three (Snake Eyes).

Brian Danielson * v. Nick Madrid
For the second straight match, a handshake gets the action underway. Danielson is not messing around countering a leg lariat with a German Suplex in a spot that has to been seen to be believed. Danielson immediately follows with a diving headbutt for a near fall. A running knee strike leads to a deathjump smash and then a crossface chicken wing. Madrid is in serious trouble as Danielson is attacking from everywhere. Madrid goes into the ropes and on the rebound stuns Danielson with an inside cradle for a near fall. Madrid then hits RUNNING OF THE BULLS and shocks the fans with the three count.

Drake Younger v. Scorpio Sky
The fans are still buzzing after the upset in the previous match as this one gets underway. Sky learns quickly that you don’t want to be on the floor with Younger as Sky goes into the ring steps hard. Younger then takes things back to the floor whips Sky into the Theatre wall. DRAKE’S LANDING gets a huge reaction but only a two count. Younger nails a 50/50 suplex and a Fire Thunder Driver but Sky is able to counter a clothesline attempt with one of his own and both men go to the mat hard. Sky is up first and hits a Blackout DDT. Younger rolls to the floor and Sky shows some courage going to out challenge Younger at ringside. Sky maintains the advantage but Younger is able to counter an attempted scorpion deathlock and hits a 50/50 suplex. It is back and forth now. Sky with knees strikes and forearms while Younger hits another Fire Thunder Driver. Both men are showing some fatigue. Sky slips out of mounted punches and nails a somersault plancha moment later. Sky hooks the leg for the pin (Snake Eyes) as the upsets continue.

Joey Ryan v. El Generico *
The fans are chanting for Generico but Ryan opens with a powerbomb that gets a 2 ¾ count which creates more nervous energy from ringside. Ryan traps Generico in a Fujiwara armbar and lands a kick in the corner. A spinebuster gets another near fall. MUSTACHE RIDE. 1, 2, kick out. The fans are frantic. Ryan is clearly frustrated and takes the match to the floor cracking Generico with a chair to the shoulder area. He goes to work on the arm with a Fujiwara armbar followed by a pedigree for another two count. Ryan goes to the top but Generico rolls clear of a deathjump flying elbow and finally has an opening. Olé Kick lands followed by a three quarter nelson suplex. Three times in a row Ryan battles out of a BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!! They brawl on the floor before Generico hits a Spike Brainbuster followed by the spaceman moonsault for a two count. Ryan comes back with a spear and then goes back to the arm with a Fujiwara armbar. It is back and forth as the pace picks up. Ryan counters a backdrop with a piledriver and Generico hits a Spike Brainbuster. Ryan comes back ducking a kick and nailing Generico with a spear for a 2 ½ count. Ryan than lands the WALK OFF and gets the three count. The members of the Dynasty tag team will battle in the tournament quarter finals.

Adam Cole ** w/Mia Yim v. Michael Elgin ***
The fans are on their feet for fellow Canadian Michael Elgin as he makes his way to the ring. Cole spoils things early on by dominating the action from the opening bell with his speed and agility. Back and to back Corona Kicks spills Elgin outside and Cole is out after him. Yim lands a bicycle kick for good measure earning solid heat. Later, Elgin is able to get the upper hand on the floor with a lariat. Cole gets tossed back inside and Elgin explodes with a SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB but only gets a two count. Elgin then hits a second SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB and again Cole gets the shoulder up. Elgin is clearly frustrated and takes the fight to the floor. Elgin nails a spinning backfist that crumples Cole to the floor and then tosses him back inside. SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB number three and this time Yim gets on the apron to cause a distraction. Things get crazy as Cole is able to backdrop Elgin over the corner to the floor. Elgin’s landing is not pretty. Cole then dives onto Elgin at ringside but Elgin somehow catches him and then powerbombs him through the ringside table! Ringside is unglued. Somehow, both men regain the ring. Cole is able to duck a running lariat and downs Elgin with a cross body block. Cole cannot cover but has control of the action once again. Scorpio Deathlock forces Elgin to the ropes. Under Cole’s direction, Yim sets up another table beside the ring and a superkick sends Elgin from the apron through the wood. The fans are chanting loudly. PANAMA SUNRISE. Elgin gets the shoulder up! Deathjump smash. Cole mounts the corner again but Elgin falls into the ropes causing Cole to lose his balance and tumble to the mat. Suplex into a side slam is followed by a running lariat. Cole is turned inside out! 1, 2, kick out. Rolling Deadlift German Suplex has the fans roaring and a running lariat again kills Cole. 1, 2, kick out again! Suplex into a side slam and Cole again gets his shoulder up (Roll of 10 x3!). Both men are staggering. A simple hard shove by Elgin is enough to topple Cole. Rolling Deadlift German Suplex. 1, 2, 3. Elgin wins the war to advance to the next round.

Adam Pearce v. Robert Anthony
The crowd is drained after the semi-main event but that does not stop Pearce from getting on the mic and working the fans for some solid heat. Pearce works the neck of Anthony early on including a swinging neckrbeakers and a pair of Last Ride Lariats the last of which sends Anthony to the floor. Pearce comes out after him but Anthony is game. Both men trade blows. The referee has lost control and decides to throw the match out calling for a double disqualification. Scrap Iron Adam Pearce, one of the heavy favourites to win the tournament, is out in the first found. Legacy members Kyle O’Reilly & DJ Hyde join the battle making it three on one. Shelton Benjamin, Brian Danielson & El Generico arrive in their street clothes to even things out. Wrestlers and officials flood the ring for a pull apart to end the night.

Great opening round to the OCW title tourney... Think everyone should keep their eyes on Shelton Benjamin... Could be the one to watch!

Always cool when the show ends with a locker room clearing brawl... SNAP!

A night of upsets and plenty of snake eyes to go around. Madrid over Danielson and Ryan over Generico were pretty shocking but also very cool. Looking forward to seeing who comes away with the gold.

Thanks for the comments Pariah. The opening round was a load of fun to play out. I also like Benjamin’s chances. In fact, when I was selecting my roster for this fed I had immediately envisioned Benjamin battling Adam Pearce for the strap. They have similar Rohl rankings and I thought the cards would make for an interesting match up. Unfortunately the dice had other plans but I am now looking forward to playing out Scrap Iron’s quest for revenge after his upset elimination tonight. I like the idea of ending the night in a pull apart and thought it bring the focus back to the Legacy three man unit again.

cruefan68 this was indeed the night of upsets which are always a lot of fun to watch unfold. Generico just could not hit his finisher and Madrid just was plain lucky in his roll to beat the American Dragon.

Card 03 –Gold Night Two – Knights of Columbus Hall, Hamilton, ON

Ontario Championship Wrestling Title Tournament Quarter Finals

Delirious * v Shelton Benjamin
Benjamin charges at Delirious in the corner early but his green masked opponent is able to get clear sending Benjamin to the corner hard. Delirious attempt for the win with a roll up and Benjamin has enough wits left to get his shoulder up. Delirious then nails a PRAYING MANTIS BOMB and advances in a stunning victory.

Shane Strickland v. Nick Madrid
The fans expected some high impact fast paced action as this one got underway. Strickland was on fire early on and a handspring back elbow sent Madrid to the floor. Outside, Strickland grabbed a chair and smashed it across Madrid’s back. The referee was not impressed and called for the disqualification. Madrid is onto the semi-finals and the opening two matches are over very quickly.

Scorpio Sky v. Joey Ryan
The members of The Dynasty collided in this match and the fans where very curious to watch this one unfold. Sky set the early tone with a face slap that got the attention of everyone on hand. Sky dominated the early action including a summersault plancha for a near fall. Argle bargle did some damage and Ryan was in trouble as his tag team partner took the battle to him in and out of the ring. Ryan stopped Sky cold with a clothesline out of the corner and hit back to back spinebusters. Suddenly we had a match and Ryan trapped Sky in ‘Nuff Said but Sky made the ropes. Ryan’s attempt at a suicide dive later in the match ended in disaster. Sky in control now. Springboard dropkick sends Ryan to the floor and Sky shows the fans what a dive to the floor should be. Ryan barely recovers and Sky takes him to the floor for some more punishment. They go back to the floor again and this time Ryan is ready with a series of forearms. They go back inside and Ryan connects with a WALK OFF for the win. The members of Dynasty has a stare down post match and then embrace to a chant of hug it out from the fans.

Shane Hollister v. Johnny Yuma **
It is back and forth at a quick pace early on. Yuma avoids a charge in the corner sending Hollister cracking against the buckles leading to a quick roll up for two. Yuma dominates the next few minutes including three Otter Drops but Hollister comes back with a springboard DDT out of nowhere. It goes back and forth again until Yuma gets backdropped to ringside in a solid looking spot. Hollister and Yuma brawl around the ring and Yuma gets the upper hand. SEX FACTOR for a two count. A Y-umaga sets up another SEX FACTOR for another near fall. Y-umaga for a 2 ½ count. Yuma then hits two more Y-umagas back to back and gets the win.

Ontario Championship Wrestling Title Tournament Semi Finals

Delirious * v Nick Madrid
Madrid does not know quite what to make of the Delirious but gets the early advantage including a northern lights suplex. Delirious goes outside and Madrid is out after him. Outside, Delirious backdrops Madrid who crashes onto the ringside table. Officials scramble for cover as Delirious mounts the corner and puts Madrid through the table with a splash. The crowd is chanting. The bell sounds and it is announced that Madrid has won via disqualification. Madrid looks dead and needs assistance leaving the ring area. How much can he possibly have left for the main event?

Joey Ryan v. Michael Elgin ***
Elgin is fresh off his quarter final bye and is greeted with a huge reaction from ringside. Perhaps a thumb to the eye was not a good way to start the match for Ryan as it only makes Elgin angry. Stalling suplex as the fans counting and a Rolling Deadlift German is so well received Elgin gives the fans a second one. Charging lariat gets a near fall. Ryan is able to reverse a whip into the corner and connects with a boot followed by a spear. Elgin goes into the ropes and on the rebound runs straight through Ryan with a lariat. They go to the floor and Ryan is clearly in trouble. Ryan grabs a chair and cracks Elgin across the back. The referee calls for the disqualification. Elgin shakes off the blow and Ryan quickly gets on his bike and flees to the back.

Robert Anthony, El Generico * & Bryan Danielson* v. The Legacy (Kyle O’Reilly ***, DJ Hyde & Adam Pearce)
The fans had some huge expectations heading into this one especially after the six man war that took place back on Phase 1 but the match ended in just two moves. Danielson caught O’Reilly with European Uppercuts and then made him submit with a TRIANGLE CHOKE. The fans were stunned. Pearce, Hyde and O’Reilly all claimed to the official that O’Reilly never tapped out but decision stands.

Ontario Championship Wrestling Title Tournament Finals

Nick Madrid v. v. Michael Elgin ***
Madrid has his ribs bandaged up as he makes his way to ringside clearly in rough shape. Handshake gets us underway. Madrid somehow stuns Elgin with a leg lariat early and then hits back to back Northern Lights Suplexes for a two count. The fans are buzzing and can smell an upset coming. RUNNING OF THE BULLS. 1, 2, 3. Madrid has done it. Nick Madrid is the first Ontario Championship Wrestling Champion!

Madrid taking home the hardware at Gold was a huge surprize but the card was a blast to play out and had a little of everything. Several bouts have been signed for the next event “Badd Dreams” arising out of the tonight’s card. First off, Kyle O’ Reilly has challenged the American Dragon to a singles match and they will clash at Badd Dreams. In six man action, Shane Strickland will joint Philly’s Most Wanted to take on Team FIST. Adam Pearce will get his chance for revenge when he meets Robert Anthony in an Extreme Rules Match and in the main event, Nick Madrid puts the OCW Title on the line in a three way match against Michael Elgin & Delirious.

Congrats to Nick Madrid on winning the OCW title. He survived some tough opponents and beating Michael Elgin in the finals is huge. Hoping he can retain in the three-way with Elgin and Delirious. The next show is looking great.

Like cruefan68 said - Fantastic job by Madrid on becoming the first OCW champion! He's got some tough opposition waiting in the wings... Delirious and Elgin are both worthy of shot at the big prize...

Enjoyed the crazy finish to the six man tag match as well... Fast work by The American Dragon... Entertaining!

Card 04 –Badd Dreams – Great Hall, Toronto, ON

Shane Strickland & Philly’s Most Wanted (BLK Jeez & The Joker) v. Team FIST (Chuck Taylor *, Johnny Gargano *& Icarus *

Strickland gets the start for his side after FIST spends some time working the crowd for heat. It is back and forth with Icarus and then Gargano. Strickland with slingshot double stop for a very near fall. Jeez is in and Icarus saves Gargano from being pinned after 11th Commandment. Jeez and then Joker keep the pressure on but Taylor is able to get the tag into the match. Later Jeez sends Taylor to the floor with 11th Commandment and then hits a Million $ Dropkick. Icarus turns thing around for FIST against Jeez. A tombstone sets up a sleeper hold but Jeez gets close enough that Joker can slap his back for the blind tag. Joker catches Icarus with the corner with a big kick and then hits a Joker plex for a one count. Strickland is back in and nails a springboard seated senton but cannot get the three count. Serve Drop and Icarus bails. Jeez takes over including a leaping double dragon kick but Icarus gets the tag to Taylor who takes over on offense leading to a cross crab for a near submission. Taylor gets the hold again but Jeez is close enough he can tag Joker. A back brain kick misses but Taylor’s jumping big boot does not. Joker is outside and Taylor is out after him. Joker cracks Taylor with a chair shot and the referee calls for the disqualification. All six men trade blows after the bell with Strickland and Philly’s Most Wanted cleaning house much to the delight of those at ringside.

Joey Ryan v. Terex
The big man from Boston makes his OCW debut tonight and seems to enjoy his interaction with ringside. Ryan wants nothing to do with locking up early on. Arm drags? Maybe not the best way to open up for Ryan. Ryan gets roughed up at ringside and then crushed with a running avalanche. Ryan blocks another charge with a knee to the chest. Ryan wisely picks up the pace and evens maintains enough leverage for a spinebuster that shakes the ring. 1, 2, kick out. The Hollywood Submission Machine goes to work including a Funiwara armbar. Ryan catches Terex in the corner with a big kick but Terex counters a second charge with an elbow to the chest. Both men are starting to show some ware and start to miss moves. Ryan counters a charge into the corner with a lariat. Ryan cannot take advantage and we end up outside brawling on the floor. Ryan gets whipped into the ringside table spilling the ring announcer to the floor. Terex goes on a run. Running avalanche, Samoan Drop and powerslam. Terex mounts the corner for cross body block. The ropes hold! Ryan must be dead! 1, 2, 3. The fans are chanting and this one is over.

Tim Donst ** v. DJ Hyde
Donst is decked out in his Mount Rushmore gear and is ready to battle on the most influential hardcore competitors in the business. Donst draws on the fans support and dominates the early action with a solid mat attack. Back to back Scorpion Death Locks have Hyde reaching for the ropes to survive. Hyde moves to a HYDRO LOCK but Hyde struggles free. A Gator Roll sets up DONSTITUTION for a near fall. Donst keeps coming with a HYDRO LOCK. Kyle O’Reilly hits the ring but Donst is ready and send O’Reilly to the floor with a suplex over the top rope. STO and Donst hooks the leg for the three count.

Kyle O’ Reilly *** v. Bryan Danielson *
The counters are flawless early on from both men and the fans show their appreciation with several loud ovations during pauses in the action. O’Reilly breaks out countering a backdrop with a piledriver. Triple butterfly suplexes follows for a near fall. They trade forearms on the floor and the fans love it. Back inside, three more butterfly suplexes follow and O’Reilly covers for two. GUILLOTINE CHOKE and Danielson makes the ropes. O’Reilly drags the American Dragon back to the middle of the ring and applies the hold again. This time Danielson cannot counter and has to submit.

Cheerleader Melissa v. Leva Bates ****
The fans are still buzzing after the last match as this one gets underway. Mellissa gains the upper hand with back to back Samoan Drops and then crushes Bates with a curb stomp for a near fall. AIR RAID CRASH and that is it. Mix reaction for Melissa as the fans clearly wanted some more from this one.

C & C Wrestle Factory (Cedric Alexander *** and Caprice Coleman) v. Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson)
The crowd is hot to see The Bucks take a beating. The opening moments feature first Alexander and then Coleman pushing the match against the Bucks who make frequent defensive tags. Matt Jackson tags in on defense and takes Coleman to the mat with a deep arm drag. Coleman counters an X-factor however and is then joined by Alexander for a suplex/senton combo. Coleman hooks the leg for the stunning three count and this one ends out of nowhere. The fans were expecting a much longer match from these two teams and are shocked at the quick finish.

Extreme Rules Match - Adam Pearce v. Robert Anthony
Both men are come to the ring ready for a war. It is all Pearce early on leading to a figure four leglock. Anthony is able to make the ropes. The assault continues in and out of the ring and soon Anthony is a bloody mess. The fans want Anthony to get something going but Pearce is an animal tonight biting and head butting his opponent showing nothing but brutality. Anthony finally catches a break when Pearce misses a spear attempt at ringside and crashes into the ring steps. Anthony pulls out a ladder and then suplexes Pearce onto the ladder earning a huge pop from ringside. Anthony flies with a cross body block deathjump but cannot get the three count. Pearce regains control and connects with a kick in the corner. Outside, Pearce goes for another spear but again Anthony avoids the attack and Pearce goes hard into the ringside rails. Scrap Iron is now busted open as well. Anthony launches a chair into the face of Pearce and then hits a Vertibreaker. Pearce scores with a well placed overhand punch and then hits the Last Ride Lariat. It is all Pearce at this point and he punishes Anthony with a figure four leglock. Anthony counters a corner attack with a knee to the chest and follows immediately with an ACE CRUSHER. 1, 2, kick out. The fans thought it might have been over. Anthony grabs the chair and the two men struggle. Peace with a low blow and then a chairshot. Anthony goes down in a heap. JUMPING PILEDRIVER and the three count. Pearce pulls out the win.

Ontario Championship Wrestling Title Three Way Match – Nick Madrid (ch) v Michael Elgin *** and Delirious *
Plenty of three way brawling early on with Elgin seemingly the focus of both Madrid and Delirious. Delirious steps up the offense tossing first Madrid and then Elgin to the floor. Delirious later connects with a BIZZARO DRIVER on Madrid but Elgin breaks up the cover tossing Delirious to the floor. Elgin’s power is on display with a Rolling Deadlift German Suplex followed by a Deadlift Powerbomb. He covers but Delirious breaks things up. Delirious tosses Elgin to the floor and then crushes Madrid with a BIZZARO DRIVER. Elgin in back in and breaks up the cover. Elgin tosses Delirious to the floor. Elgin turns Madrid inside out with a running lariat and hooks the leg but Delirious makes the save just before the count of three. Again Elgin is tossed to the floor. Shadows Over Heck on the champion. Madrid bails but Elgin tosses him back into the ring where Delirious is waiting with Chemical Imbalance II. Elgin breaks thing up again. Elgin works over Madrid who has been taking an epic beating. Madrid actually gets some offense in finally including a leg lariat and Side Effect. Madrid goes into the corner hard and Elgin charge but Madrid gets the knee up. Elgin is stunned and Madrid hits a Northern Lights Suplex. 1, 2, kick out. Madrid goes for the submission with a Scorpion Death Lock but Delirious breaks it up. Delirious works over Madrid now but the champion battles back with a Northern Lights Suplex and half Boston Crab. Madrid spends the next several minutes essentially tossing both is opponents to the floor in an effort to catch a breather. Madrid and Delirious brawl at ringside and Delirious gets the upper hand. Delirious comes off the top with a deathjump smash and then goes up to the top for a second one but Elgin shoves him off sending Delirious crashing to the mat. Elgin attacks Madrid with power moves. Madrid is finally able to roll to the floor and we get Delirious v. Elgin. Elgin counters a charge into the corner with a running lariat that flips Delirious over. Rolling Deadlift German Suplex but Madrid makes the pin save. Elgin rolls to the floor and Madrid hits a butterfly suplex followed by Side Effect but Delirious counters with a Cobra Stretch. Madrid has nothing left and the referee quickly calls for the bell just as Elgin reaches the pair to break the up the hold. Delirious is the new OCW Champion! Elgin is upset at the referee for making the quick call before he could arrive to save Madrid but the decision stands.

A big title change closes out another night of crazy action. The intensity will carry on at Card 05 “Fall Out.” Team FIST has issued a challenge to Philly’s Most Wanted & Shane Strickland to meet them in a Trios Lucha Rules Match. That should be insane. As well, in a battle of top contenders, Michael Elgin clashes with Shelton Benjamin. Plus, in a grudge match, Legacy members Kyle O’Reilly & DJ Hyde team up to take on the team of Tim Donst & Bryan Danielson. Then in the main event, Delirious puts his newly won OCW Title up against his long-time foe and current top contender Adam Pearce.
