I was pulling for Nick Madrid to retain but going against both Delirious and Michael Elgin was tough. It was a great match, though. Delirious defending against Adam Pearce should be good plus I am looking forward to Elgin vs. Shelton Benjamin with the possibility of either one getting the next title shot. Loved the description of Terex coming off the top on Joey Ryan and I also enjoyed Pearce vs. Anthony and the big win for Kyle O'Reilly over Bryan Danielson.

Thank you for the comments cruefan68. I was not sure how realistic the Terex spot would be but it was fun to play out. The Terex card has been a nice surprise. Card 05 – Fall Out – Pickering Recreation Complex, Pickering, ON Johnny Yuma v. The Hobo Hobo is incredibly popular with the fans especially the youngsters in attendance. Yuma has his full heel on tonight and works the crowd for heat. Yuma avoids a crossbody and then hits a satellite backbreaker. An Otter Drop forces Hobo outside and Yuma is out after his opponent. Yuma cracks Hobo across the back with a chair shot and the night opens with a disqualification finish. Yuma lays out Hobo with SEX FACTOR after the match and leaves to solid heat. Drew Gulak * v. Shane Hollister Gulak is on the house microphone telling the fans that they do not have to worry that he is here to clean up OCW and make it the home of pure wrestling. This one was very closely contested early on. Both men hit and missed moves as the action went back and forth. Hollister hits a springboard DDT that leads to a brawl on the floor between the two. Back inside, the action again evens out until Hollister connects with a nice looking enzuigiri followed by a Iowa Leglock. Back to back somersault plancha set up a back head kick and Gulak bails. Outside, Hollister nails Gulak with a chair across the back and the fans love it. The referee lets the action continue and Gulak is clearly not pleased. A simple side headlock from Gulak turns the momentum of the match. Cross Crusher sends Hollister outside where Gulak returns the pleasure of a chair shot to Hollister. It is all Gulak including a deathjump smash and ankle lock submission. Hollister counters a backdrop with a piledriver and the fans are cheering. Outside again and Hollister grabs the same chair, looks to the fans who cheer, and cracks Gulak across the back again. Inside with a somersault plancha for a two count. Now Gulak counters a backdrop with a piledriver and then forces the action to the floor with an ankle lock submission. Outside, Gulak attacks Hollister leg with series of stomps and then rams a chair into the leg drawing huge heat. Both men are shows signs of fatigue and miss a series of moves. Gulak catches Hollister charging to the corner with a knee to the chest and then applies a sharp shooter followed by an ankle lock. Gulak than transitions to a GU-LOCK but Hollister is able to make the ropes. Gulak goes over the lower body again with an ankle lock submission and a kick to the knee. A second kick misses and somehow Hollister hits a springboard DDT. Gulak rolls to the floor. Hollister comes out after him. Gulak grabs a chair but Hollister wrestles it away and nails him with it. The referee decides that is enough and calls for the disqualification. The fans are not pleased with the finish after a hard fought battle. Gulak is your winner. Lucha Trios Challenge - Philly’s Most Wanted (Joker & BLK Jeez) & Shane Strickland v. Team FIST (Johnny Gargano **, Icarus & Chuck Taylor) Huge expectations for this bout when it was announced. The story in this one early on was FIST working over Strickland leading to an OMEGA DRIVER from Taylor for a near fall. Strickland manages to avoid a low blow from Gargano and tags in BLK Jeez who immediately hits the 11TH Commandment on Gargano for the three count. This one is over quickly and the fans are stunned. The match stipulation has zero impact on the outcome. El Generico ** & Terex v. The Dynasty (Joey Ryan & Scorpio Sky) The fans are happy to see Generico back in action and are chanting during the introductions. Ryan was more than willing to play cheerleader and allow his partner to step into the ring with Terex. Sky opens with a face slap and forearms to the head that get the crowd’s attention but he stopped cold with a standing spinebuster. Sky bails and Terex follows him outside. Terex comes outside after him and tosses Sky into the ringsteps. Back in the ring, Terex hits the BIG SPLASH. Ryan joins the action followed by Generico and we have a wild brawl. The faces maintain the advantage and Terex crushes Sky with a running avalanche. Generico tags in to a huge pop and hits a BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!! (4). Sky is finished but Ryan makes the save earning solid heat. Generico then hits a running lariat on Sky and hooks the leg for the three count. After the match, Sky is clearly dazed and Ryan lays him out with a WALK-OFF. Adam Cole * w/Mia Yim v. Drake Younger Cole had some great heat from ringside prior to the match. Cole uses his speed early on including a pair of cross body blocks. Younger comeback hitting a Fire Thunder Driver that spills Cole to the floor. Cole is allowed to regain the ring but Younger connects with a DRAKE’S LANDING but cannot get the three. Then the assault at ringside begins. Younger is able to back off Yim with just a look and then beats the living daylights out of Cole at ringside. Cole is nearly counted out of the ring. Back in the ring, Cole gets crushed with a deathjump smash. Back on the floor it is more beatings for Cole including a series of chops that has the fans buzzing. A Drake ‘N’ Bake nearly kills Cole. Drake goes to the top but Yim is able to cause a distraction. Drake leaps but Cole is able to counter with a powerslam. 1, 2, kick out. The advantage is short lived as Younger nails a vertical suplex followed by a charge in the corner. Cole gets tossed to the floor and Younger tosses him into the ring steps. Cole just beats the ten count back into the ring but Younger quickly takes the battle back to the floor Irish whipping Cole into the Complex wall. Once again Cole is nearly counted out but manages to regain the ring. Younger against climbs the corner and once again Yim looks like she interfere. The delay allows Cole to shake the ropes and Younger crashes to the mat. Cole finally has control of the action. Florida Key and Coleateral lead to a Scorpio Leg Lock but Younger is not ready to give up yet. But he is stunned and Cole takes full advantage hitting the PANAMA SUNRISE for the comeback win. Huge heat for Cole as he is announced as the winner thanks largely in part to some timely distractions by Yim. Kyle O’Reilly *** & DJ Hyde v. Brian Danielson ** & Tim Donst **** Donst and O’Reilly start this one off and Donst gains the upper hand including rolling gut wrench suplexes that he fans eat up. Danielson is in with a Yakuza Kick and follows with German suplexes. Donst back in with a Scorpion Death Lock, gator roll and a Chikara Special. O’Reilly is in trouble. DONSTITUTION but O’Reilly kicks out. Danielson is in with a diving headbutt. Danielson comes off the corner with a cross body but O’Reilly counters with a dropkick in a great looking spot. Both men are down. The fans are frantic but The American Dragon is up first. TRIANGLE CHOKE. O’Reilly makes the ropes. Deathjump clothesline hits but a kick to the knee misses and Hyde is able to enter the match for the first time. Danielson avoids a running face punch and counters with a Yakuza Kick. 1, 2, kick out. Donst with back to back STOs and Hyde bails to the floor. Donst comes outside and it is a mistake as Hyde powerbombs him through the ringside table! The fans are chanting. Danielson is checking on his partner but O’Reilly takes him out and then tosses Donst back into the ring. Hyde toys with Donst tossing him back to the floor. Outside, Hyde with an Irish whip. Reversal and Hyde goes into the post. Dragon tags in and applies CATTLE MUTILATION but Hyde hangs in. Superplex into a TRIANGLE CHOKE in amazing combo of moves. Hyde makes the ropes. CATTLE MUTILATION. Donst is able to block O’Reilly from making the save but Hyde makes the ropes again. Danielson drags Hyde to the middle of the ring and applies the hold again for the win. Shelton Benjamin v. Michael Elgin *** The fans are still excited from the previous match despite a slight delay in the action to clear away the broken ringside table. Handshake gets this one started. Neither man is going to back down early and Elgin’s shoulder block sends Benjamin to the floor. Elgin is outside and they are brawling around the Complex. Elgin has the advantage and a Deadlift Powerbomb shakes the ring. Benjamin reverses a whip into the corner and connects with a clothesline. A moonsault connects and looks amazing as does a leap frog and clothesline that sets up PAYDIRT for a near fall. Second PAYDIRT but Elgin kicks out. A turnbuckle powerbomb wows the fans and then Benjamin spills Elgin to the floor with a superkick. Back in the ring Benjamin cannot get the win after a third PAYDIRT. A Fourth PAYDIRT and Elgin gets his shoulder up at the last second. Benjamin looks at the referee in disbelief. Elgin is able to connect with a spinning backfirst that stuns Benjamin but not enough however as Benjamin avoids an enzuigiri and then strikes with a corner splash. 1, 2, kick out. PAYDIRT for the fifth time and Elgin is not getting up this time. Ontario Championship Wrestling Title Match - Delirious ** v. Adam Pearce The fans are all over Pearce from the outset and Delirious struggles early on. A clothesline out of the corner turns things around and Delirious follows with a pair of Cobra Stretches that send Pearce to the floor. Delirious and Pearce has an intense brawl on the floor and back in the ring, Delirious nails back to back deathjumps. PRAYING MANTIS BOMB for a near fall. Delirious hits Shadows Over Heck and Pearce bails to the floor but there is no relief as Delirious dives onto him at ringside to a big ovation. Pearce is almost counted out. Delirious keeps the pressure on with a Panic Attack and Chemical Imbalance II. Cobra Stretch nearly gets a submission but Pearce makes the ropes. Delirious mounts the corner but Pearce falls into the ropes. The ropes shake and Delirious crashes to the mat. Pearce with a JUMPING PILEDRIVER. 1, 2, kick out. Pearce hits a second JUMPING PILEDRIVER. 1, 2, 3. The OCW Title has changed hands once again as Scrap Iron makes a stunning comeback to claim the title. After the match, Kyle O’Reilly and DJ Hyde join their fellow Legacy member to celebrate while the fans jeer. CZW Card * Chikara Card ** ROH Original Card *** LE Card **** Official Rankings Ontario Championship Wrestling Champion: Adam Pearce 1. Delirious 2. Nick Madrid 3. Michael Elgin 4. Bryan Danielson 5. Another changing of the guard in OCW with Adam Pearce beating Delirious for the title. Great win by Pearce and I look forward to seeing if he can have a strong title reign. The undercard was great as well, loved Danielson winning with Cattle Mutilation and Benjamin scoring the big win over Elgin.

Wow! That was some superb action and your write-ups tee second to none...
Great to see El Generico score the winning pinfall in his tag match to the delight of the crowd... And Cole's comeback against Younger was exciting...
Shelton Benjamin... Now there's a guy who never fails to impress... He doesn't seem to make much noise in most feds, but he always gets the job done... People should keep an eye on him...
Congrats to Adam Pearce on becoming the new OCW Champion... Delirious fought a great match, but some bad luck at the end cost him...
Fantastic work... Looking forward to The Final Act!

Thanks for the feedback cruefan68 Pariah and @du5tin Card 06 – Final Act – Alpine Club, Kitchener, ON Nick Madrid v. Drew Gulak * Gulak continues his quest to clean up OCW by taking on the first ever OCW Champion Madrid in the opening contest of the night. Madrid uses his speed as a great foil to Gulak’s mat skills early on. Gulak get taken out with an implant DDT and Madrid mounts the corner for a deathjump but takes out the referee in the process. Madrid focuses on the referee for just a few seconds but it is enough time for Gulak to get the upper hand. Gulak works the ankle and then connects with a deathjump cross body but there is no referee. Gulak keeps control with a Cross Crusher followed by a GU-LOCK but the referee is just recovering. The official is back on his feet and the action is going back and forth. Gulak traps Mardid in a half Crab and then transitions to a GU-LOCK. This time the referee is on top of the action and Madrid cannot counter. Gulak defeats the former champion and has a big win to close out his first OCW season. Allison Danger v. Dazee Haze This one takes a few minutes to pick as both ladies counter well early on. Danger with a Cobra Clutch suplex that sends Haze outside. Danger dives onto Hazee at ringside and the fans love it. Hazee counters a deathjump suplex attempt shoving Danger to the mat before connecting with a missile dropkick for a near fall. Danger then catches Hazee climbing to the top and slams her hard to the mat. Old School Expulsion sends Hazee back to ringside. Hazee regains the ring and Danger is waiting with a SHIMMERING WARLOCK. Hazee kicks out. Danger goes on a tear with a series of moves including two deathjump smashes. Another Old School Expulsion gets another near fall. An STO stuns Hazee who rolls to ringside once again to catch a breather but Danger comes out after her. SHIMMERING WARLOCK at ringside. Hazee is out and cannot respond to the referee’s count. Your winner by count out is Alison Danger. Joey Ryan v. Scorpio Sky Ryan, who turned his back on Sky last card in a post match attack, is out to solid heat. It is all Ryan early on with a series of spears and spinebusters that shake the ring. Sky is in trouble as Ryan mounts the corner for a deathjump but the referee gets taken out for the second time tonight. With the referee down, Sky catches Ryan with ACE OF SPADES. It is all Sky as the referee recovers. Ryan and Sky trade reversals of an Irish whip and Sky goes hard into the corner but blocks Ryan’s charge with a knee. Springboard dropkick looks great and leads to a somersault plancha. Sky hooks the leg and gets the three count. The fans love it and Ryan is clearly not happy after the match. Team FIST (Chuck Taylor** & Johnny Gargano**) v. Philly’s Most Wanted (Joker & BLK Jeez) Taylor is working the crowd for heat and singles out a couple of youngsters at ringside in particular. Once the bell sounds both teams are able to make tags to keep the momentum changing until Joker counters Taylor’s enzuigiri attempt and lands a Magnitude Bomb. Taylor has to regroup on the floor but when he get back into the ring Joker is ready with a Cambodian Cannonball for a near fall. Jeez is in the match and assaults Taylor with a chair on the floor. BLK JEEZ WALKS. Joker blocks Gargano and Jeez gets the three count. Jeez is not finished and crushes Taylor with a BLK Jeez stomp leaving Taylor in a heap (one card injury). Shelton Benjamin v. Drake Younger Benjamin wastes no time going to work hitting a T-Bone Suplex for a near fall followed by back to back PAYDIRTS but cannot get the quick win. Younger is reeling but Benjamin makes the mistake of following his opponent to the floor and Younger gets the best of the brawl that follows. Back in the ring Drake ‘n’ Bake in to the buckles! Drake unloads with this fists and with headbutts but Benjamin manages to counter a vertical suplex and hits a springboard clothesline. Drake catches Benjamin going to the top of the corner and slams him to the mat. Drake is back and control. Benjamin goes into the ropes and counters a clothesline with one of his own and both men crash to the mat. Benjamin is up first but cannot maintain any advantage. It is back and forth now. Younger with his punches and headbutts starts to take a toll on Benjamin. Benjamin comes back with a double leg spinebuster that leads to a turnbuckle powerbomb. Younger crumbles to the floor and when he gets back into the ring, Benjamin plants him with a tombstone piledriver. 1, 2, kick. The fans thought it was over. Benjamin nails a second turnbuckle powerbomb followed by a third PAYDIRT. 1, 2, ¾. The fans are on their feet! Another PAYDIRT and this time the referee makes the three count. El Generico ** & Terex v. Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) All four of these men have spent a significant amount of time in the West Coast independents and know each other well. The Bucks uses some quick tags and their agility to get the heat on Terex early on. Terex is able to counter a double team attempt and clothesline both Bucks into oblivion. Nick Jackson battled out of a BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!! attempt and then brawls with Generico around ringside. Back in the ring a second BRAINBUSTAAAHHH! attempt is unsuccessful. Terex tags back in and attacks Jackson with a sitdown splash that looks painful followed by a STRANDING MOONSAULT that gets a solid pop. Matt Jackson makes the save. Generico is back into the match with a Spike Brainbuster and pair of tombstone piledrivers. Somehow Nick Jackson is able to get the defensive tag. Matt Jackson takes the battle to Generico and is joined by this brother for an N’Sync and Early Onset Alzheimer’s. Generico wins an exchange at ringside and tags in Terex who immediately hits Matt Jackson with the BIG SPLASH. Generico blocks Nick Jackson from making the save and Terex gets the three count. Michael Elgin *** v. Adam Cole * w/Mia Yim These had one of the best matches of the Gold tournament earlier this season and the fans were looking for some more of that action. Cole goes on the attack at the bell including a Florida Key and lungblower. A Corona Kick gets the first near fall. Cole’s speed is really impressive tonight and Elgin is struggling to keep up. Coleateral puts Elgin to the mat and gets the fans attention. Elgin is up and staggers into a Corona Kick. Cole hooks the leg and gets the stunning victory. None of the fans expected zero offense from Elgin and are shocked. Bryan Danielson **, Tim Donst ** & Delirious ** v. Kyle O’ Reilly ***, DJ Hyde & OCW Champion Adam Pearce Pearce has great heat and starts in against Donst cranking the intensity up by biting Donst. The fans are all over Scrap Iron has he punishes Donst early on. Power slam and the action goes to the floor. They brawl around the ring and Pearce maintains the advantage. JUMPING PILEDRIVER for a near fall. Hyde tags in but Donst is able to get the tag as well to Delirious. O’Reilly slows Delirious down with an ankle lock that forces the masked competitor to grab the ropes. Delirious catches O’Reilly on the top of the corner and tosses him to the mat much to the pleasure of the fans. Both teams switch it up and Pearce takes on Danielson. Pearce bites Danielson and goes to work. A running lariat sends Danielson to the floor. Pearce traps Danielson in a figure four leglock and then hits a spinebuster. Hyde attempts a tombstone but the American Dragon counters and gets the tag. Donst is on a run against Hyde including a Chikara Special and Scorpion Death Lock. DONSTITUTION and Hyde kicks out. Donst with a deathjump and he tags in the American Dragon who goes for the win with CATTLE MUTILATION. Hyde is not finished yet. Danielson applies a second CATTLE MUTILATION. Delirious and Donst block the pin saves but Hyde makes the ropes. Delirious is in and for some reason takes the battle to the floor. Hyde and Delirious tear up ringside. Hyde grabs a chair but Delirious scores with a kick to the stomach to get possession of the chair and decks Hyde. The referee has seen enough and makes the disqualification call. The fans are not pleased as Pearce collects his teammates and quickly head to the back with a controversial victory. CZW Card * Chikara Card ** ROH Card *** A somewhat disappointing conclusion to the first season with a disqualification finish in the main event and Cole absolutely destroying Michael Elgin in the co-feature. OCW will be looking to rebound in big way when Phase 2 kicks off the second season. And what better way to start things off then by awarding some more gold. Phase 2 will feature an event so huge that it cannot be contained in just one night. Sixteen teams will converge OCW to battle for the first ever OCW Tag Team Championship. OCW promoters have been negotiating with the hottest Indy Federations in North American to bring in the best talent possible so the competition will be in intense. Phase 2 night one will feature the opening eight bouts of the Tag Team Title Tournament plus a OCW Title Match as Adam Pearce puts his title on the line against the man he defeated for the title, Delirious. Phase 2 night two will feature the balance of the Tag Team Title Tournament plus second OCW Title Match! Oshawa has a rich pro wrestling history and start of the second season of OCW promises to add to that legacy.

I guess some people may have been disappointed, but I LOVED the controversial finish to the main event... What an amazing cliffhanger to lead into next season... And it also does a great job of setting the table for the rematch between Pearce and Delirious...
As for Cole dominating Elgin... Sure, it was unexpected... But, maybe Elgin was feeling under the weather and the booker needed to find a way to get him in and out of the ring in the most painless manner possible...
Was really happy to see Allison Danger pick up a win... And watching Younger lock horns with Benjamin was a treat... Expected (and hoped) for FIST to triumph over Philly's Most Wanted, but it wasn't in the cards...
El Generico & Terex put on a stellar performance, despite the two missed attempts at the BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!!
Beginning to end, this show never failed to entertain... And I think each match told a valuable story... As always, great fun!

Thanks for the feedback Pariah. Hope you continue to enjoy the action as OCW crowns the first Tag Team Champions. Card 07 – Phase Two – Harmony Hall, Oshawa, ON OCW Tag Team Title Tournament – Round One AC DC (Arik Cannon & Darin Corbin) v. Irish Airborne (Jake Crist & Dave Crist) There is a great energy in the building before the opening bell. Jake Crist is able to counter a rolling neck snap from Corbin early on with a German suplex that forces Corbin to the floor. Outside, Crist destroys Corbin leading to a near count out. Dave Crist tags in nails a superkick which sends Corbin into another German Suplex. The referee warns the Airborne about the double teaming as Dave Crist mounts the corner for a perfect deathjump cross body block. Cannon is able to cause a distraction and the match continues. Crist with a HEAD AND ARM TRAP DDT. Cannon makes the save. Jake Crist tags in and slows things down with dragon sleeper followed by another German suplex. Corbin lands close to his corner however and gets the tag. Cannon trades moves with Jake Crist until both men go for a clothesline and crash to the mat in a heap. Cannon is up first but cannot capitalize before the Airborne make a tag. Dave hits two superkicks with a shot kick followed by moonsault double team in between. Cannon kicks out of the pin attempt. Jake Crist tags in and nails a deathjump smash which sets up IRISH COFFEE for the three count. Very impressive outing by the Irish Airborne in their OCW debut. Premier Athlete’s Brand (Trent Barreta & Anthony Nese) w/Su Yung v. Osirian Portal (Amasis & Ophidian) The PAB size advantage is on display early on but a defensive tag by Ophidian allows Amasis to stun Nese with a springboard DDT that leads directly to an EGYPTIAN CONNIPTION. The fans pop it but Nese is out of the cover before two. OSIRIAN SACRAMENT. Amasis cuts off Barretta and Ophidian hooks the leg for the three count. The fans love it while Nese & Barreta look at Yung with stunned disbelief. Young Bucks (Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson) v. Philly’s Most Wanted (BLK Jeez & Joker) There is dueling chants from ringside as the fans are in great spirits after the opening two contests. The pace out of the gate is incredible in this one with both Bucks battling Jeez. Joker is able to get the tag into the action and asserts himself with a joker-plex on Nick Jackson. Both sides make continual defensive tags causing the momentum to stay in flux but it appears the Bucks are the team pressing the attack. Philly’s Most Wanted come back when Jeez breaks through against Nick Jackson including a running tornado DDT which sends the pair to the floor for a wild brawl. Back inside, Jeez hits BLK JEEZ WALKS and just like that this one is over. It just seemed that both teams were getting warmed up when the finish came out of nowhere. Los Banditos (Tito Escondido & Rico Dynamite) v. Tim Donst * & Bryan Danielson ** Despite having the fans support, Danielson struggles early especially after a double flapjack from Los Banditos. Donst gets the tag in against Dynamite and gets control of the action. The match goes to the floor where Dynamite and Donst tear up ringside while Danielson and Escondido brawl in the ring. Dynamite cracks Donst across the back with a chair and that is enough for the referee to call for the disqualification. Donst & Danielson advance to the next round. Bravado Brothers (Harlem Bravado & Lancelot Bravado) v. Incoherence (Hallowicked & Frightmare) The Bravado Brother garner a great deal of heat as they are introduced and manage to cut off Frighmare early on leading to a GENTLEMAN’S AGREEMENT for a two count. Lancelot Bravado keeps on Frightmare with a DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX for another pin attempt. Frightmare is finally able to get the tag but Hallowicked cannot get anything going. The Bravado are able to counter everything Incoherence has to offer. Frightmare gets in trouble again. After getting tossed to the floor, Frightmare crawls back into the ring and gets crushed with a GENTLEMAN’S AGREEMENT. Hallowicked jumps in and this starts a brawl with all four men. The Bravado Brothers get the best of the fight and execute a double flapjack on Frightmare. Lancelot hooks the leg and gets the three count. Motor City Madmen (Jimmy Jacobs & Rhino) v. El Generico ** & Terex The fans are chanting for Generico as he and Terex hit the ring to solid ovation. Jacobs struggles against Generico but Rhino finds success with a power attack. Generico takes a beating. Jacobs is back in and draws huge heat with a low blow which sets up a diving senton for near fall. After taking a series of violent stomps, Generico is able to counter a satellite headscissors. Terex is in and the big man crushes Jacobs with a running lariat. Jacobs scramble to his corner and tags in Rhino. The fans are loving the stare down between Rhino & Terex. Rhino nails and forearm shiver and goes to work. A running powerslam nearly breaks the ring and blows the fans out their seats. It is all Rhino as they brawl on the floor. Back inside, Rhino hits another running powerslam and the fans cannot believe it. Jacobs is back in with a diving senton that is spot on and a series of violent stomps. Terex rolls to the floor and can barely get his massive frame back into the ring. Jacobs attacks from the top with another diving senton and then unleashes the contra code to a huge reaction from ringside. A series of violent stomps follows and then Jacobs lands a low blow that enrages the fans. Diving Senton and Terex power out of the cover. Rhino tags and sets up. GORE! Jacobs trips up Generico and Rhino hooks the leg for the win. War Machine (Raymond Rowe & Hanson) v. C & C Wrestle Factory (Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander ***) The contrast in styles is apparent from the outset as Rowe opens with an attempted punch to the teeth which is countered by Coleman with a hip toss. Rowe does manage to hit an Avalanche belly to belly suplex on Coleman for a pin attempt. Hanson is in with a Sin City Plunge that is impressive but his tombstone is countered. Alexander is in the action for the first time to a nice reaction from the fans. He looks good until Rowe is able to get back into the match and crushes him with back to back deadlift German suplexes followed by a kick to the head. Alexander escapes to the floor but Rowe is out after him. Rowe grabs takes a fans chair and cracks Alexander across the back with it. The bell sounds and we have a disqualification. War Machine are livid but Coleman & Alexander advance to the next round. DJ Hyde & Kyle O’Reilly *** v. The Tribe (Navajo Warrior & Hawaiian Lion) w/Olivia The fans hate Hyde & O’Reilly and give it to the members of Legacy as they make their way to the ring. Warrior gives the fans something to really cheer about when he shocks everyone with a moonsault that works and gets a near fall on Hyde out the gate. Things only pick up from their as a Broken Arrow rocks the fans and forces Hyde to bail. Warrior cracks Hyde with a chair at ringside and the referee lets the action continued. O’Reilly attempts to assist when the action returns to the ring but a second Broken Arrow takes care of that problem. More brawling on the floor and this time Hyde gets control of the chair and brings it down on Warrior’s back. O’Reilly tags in and immediately applies a GUILLOTINE CHOKE. Warrior powers out. O’Reilly goes up top but Warrior catches him. They struggle on the buckles with Warrior getting shoved to the mat. O’Reilly with a GUILLOTINE but again Warrior powers out. Not to be outdone, O’Reilly connect with a flying dropkick to a seated Warrior and then hits back to back moonsaults of his own. Hyde blocks Lion, who has yet to tag into the match, as O’Reilly hooks the leg. 1, 2, kick out. Hyde tags in but Warrior is able to counter a back body drop and tags in Lion who immediately strikes with a snap belly to belly suplex followed by a deathjump cross body block on Hyde. The referee makes the three count and The Tribe barely make it out of the opening round. After the match, Hyde is not pleased and questions why O’Reilly did not make the save. After a brief argument the pair leave ringside clearly unhappy with the turn of events. OCW Title Match – Adam Pearce v. Delirious ** A rematch from the Fall Out card from last season headlines night one of Phase Two. Delirious explodes from the outset with a leaping lariat that sends Peace to the floor. Things get violent early when Pearce drags Delirious outside and runs him into the ringpost. Pearce slows things down with a figure four leglock that gets great heat from ringside but Delirious avoids a clothesline in the corner and rolls up Pearce for a 1 count. Pearce is reeling and Delirious capitalizes with a BIZZARO DRIVER. 1, 2, 3. Delirious is now a two time OCW Champion. Legacy members Kyle O’Reilly and DJ Hyde arrive too late to stop the pin but attack the new Champion after the bell. Bryan Danielson, Tim Donst, El Generico, Terex, Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman arrive to break things up and hoist the Delirious onto their shoulders in celebration. Card 08 – Phase Two – Night Two – Oshawa Legion, Oshawa, ON
OCW Tag Team Title Tournament – Round Two
Irish Airborne (Jake Crist & Dave Crist) v. Osirian Portal (Amasis & Ophidian) The fans are expecting a great pace to this one and are not disappointed early on. The Airborne manage to cut off Amasis from his corner and work him over. Both Crists nail deathjump smashes which sets up a HEAD AND ARM TRAP DDT from Dave Crist for a near fall. Some excessive double teaming earns the Airborne a warning from the referee but they carry on and crush Amasis with IRISH COFFEE. Ophidian makes the save and Dave Crist follows with a HEAD AND ARM TRAP DDT. Jake Crist cuts off Ophidian this time but somehow Amasis gets a shoulder up at the last second. The fans are really pulling for the Portal but Crist hits a third HEAD AND ARM TRAP DDT. 1, 2, kick out. The fans cannot believe it. WOW! So many surprising finishes throughout the tournament... Would've liked to see the Airborne go to the end... But, Osirian Portal fought hard and definitely earned the championship... Looks like there will be no shortage of competition waiting on their doorstep...
It was also cool seeing Delirious claim the big prize... Unfortunate that his reign came to a end so quickly... Big congrats go to Terex... Nice work!
