Just saw this on a wrestling news website. Apparently Destination America has signed on to broadcast Ring of Honor starting Wednesday June 3rd, set to air before TNA's Impact Wrestling. They're billing it as a one-two punch of wrestling action.
This is really interesting... I have to wonder what it could mean for TNA. Is this a sign that DA is trying to help them by giving them a perceived good lead-in? Or could it be that DA is prepping a replacement? If ROH comes in and pulls similar ratings to what TNA is doing now, it's probably a no-brainer to drop TNA. Also, could this deal mean some cross promotion between ROH and TNA?

Interesting for sure. Gotta love the TV business. I say they are prepping the replacement and they'll spend way less on ROH so it's a smart move. Though if if boosts both shows, ratings wise I could see them keeping both.

Weird. Will this be the same show ROH syndicates? I assume the syndicated show will continue. I really don't want to pay for another cable tier just for ROH.

So if you already get the syndicated you will not need to pay for an extra channel. Now how long this last is unknown, as if things go well enough, ROH might begin producing DA original material. Just have to wait and see. DA is already a part of my basic cable so it is no big deal. |

Finally, I'll be able to watch ROH on tv. Same here. I stopped watching TNA weeks into the DA deal but will be watching this for sure. |

Though I'm not sure TNA would want to be upstaged by you guys either lol |

So very happy to have ROH coming to a channel I can watch it on. Awesome. Sorry TNA but my Wednesday nights will consist of ROH and NXT. I watch Lucha Underground on Saturday's at 4:00 so it's all good. I am in wrestling heaven right now. Thanks ROH and Destination America!
