* reDRagon provided guest commentary for the bout & further their unfavorable opinions of the PREMIER tag team division. They continued to run down teams like THE KINGDOM, even engaging in a heated exchange of words with them during the match while the action spilled outside of the ring. Later in the match, however, reDRagon appeared to be stunned silent as THE KINGDOM set up THE WOLVES for the finish & quickly left ringside as the bell sounded.

* It's time for the main event, & after AJ STYLES and PREMIER Champion AUSTIN ARIES enter the ring, Styles asks for a microphone. He congratulates Aries on being the better wrestler at the last series of PREMIER events & admits that A-Double deserved the title. Styles then acknowledges the fact that while he greatly respects Aries as a wrestler & champion, tonight is his night to finally rise to the top of PREMIER Pro Wrestling. Finally, he points out that he defeated both DREW GALLOWAY and RODERICK STRONG after they each won the PREMIER Championship, & Aries will be no different.

AJ STYLES [5-2] def AUSTIN ARIES [3-1] via STYLES CLASH
* The crowd erupts as the bell rings signaling Styles' victory! He celebrates in the ring afterwards, but the decision on who will be PREMIER Champion rests solely with the PREMIER board of directors. Has Styles done enough to finally earn the title, or will he again be disappointed by narrowly losing out to another top star?
* Shortly after Styles returns to the back & the fans prepare to leave, SHAUN RICKER'S music starts playing. He quickly makes his way to the ring as the fans boo him. He grabs a microphone & begins to air his grievances with PREMIER officials. Ricker reminds fans that he has won both of his PREMIER singles matches & hasn't been pinned or submitted in a PREMIER bout, yet PREMIER officials overlooked him & opted not to schedule him for PREMIER's biggest event. He states that he's offended & demands a match before the event ends. Ricker offers to square off with anyone that's willing to face him. He then drops the microphone & starts pacing around the ring awaiting an opponent. After a brief silence, music begins to play & Ricker's opponent emerges from the back as the crowd comes unglued. MICHAEL ELGIN IS HERE AT PREMIER EXTRAVAGANZA VIII! He locks eyes with Ricker as he slowly walks down the aisle, stopping occasionally to look over the crowd. Ricker is well beyond surprised to see him & looks as if he immediately regrets issuing an open challenge. As Elgin enters the ring, his music stops & the crowd starts chants in support of him.
