I consider myself a fan of reDRagon, but it was cool to see The Kingdom take them down a peg or two... Also hoping to see Styles repeat as Premier champion...
Although those matches were the highlights, I enjoyed the entire show very much... Excellent victories by the Darewolf and Drew Galloway... Meanwhile, I see American Wolves continue hunting for their first win as a team...
Entertaining!

* With the milestone PREMIER X coming up next, PREMIER officials have decided to to hold another extravaganza to commemorate ten events. PREMIER EXTRAVAGANZA X will be this Friday, August 28th, followed by PREMIER XI the next day!
* Even though the PREMIER board of directors won't announce their latest title decisions until tomorrow, MICHAEL ELGIN has already reached out to them & to current PREMIER Champion AJ STYLES to ask for a rematch at PREMIER EXTRAVAGANZA X. If Styles is chosen to retain his title (and he is likely to do so after defeating Elgin on Friday at PREMIER IX), will he be so eager to give Elgin another match or will he hive another contender in mind?

* AJ STYLES has become the first PREMIER Champion to retain the title - will he accept MICHAEL ELGIN'S request for a rematch or does he have another challenger in mind? And despite suffering their first loss to THE KINGDOM at PREMIER IX, reDRagon has retained the PREMIER Tag Team Championship due to their initial 8-match winning streak. Even that impressive feat won't continue to save the champs, though! Remember: PREMIER champions are determined by the PREMIER board of directors & by them only, so both champions will need to choose their challengers wisely.
* After losing a hard fought bout against DREW GALLOWAY at PREMIER IX, CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI will compete at PREMIER EXTRAVAGANZA X in a three way match against SHAUN RICKER & the debuting LANCE HOYT!

* Newly crowned PREMIER Champion AJ STYLES has chosen his opponent for PREMIER EXTRAVAGANZA X, & it will be former PREMIER Champion DREW GALLOWAY! Galloway currently holds a two match winning streak including spoiling the debut of CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI at PREMIER IX, but criticism of Styles' selection has already started. Some PREMIER Pro stars have quickly pointed out that he has already defeated Galloway twice & question if Styles is going with a "safe" option rather than granting MICHAEL ELGIN a rematch.
* Still struggling to get their first tag team victory in PREMIER Pro, THE WOLVES look to regroup against THE YOUNG BUCKS at PREMIER EXTRAVAGANZA X! The Bucks, who only just won their first PREMIER Pro bout at PREMIER EXTRAVAGANZA XIII last month, will also be looking to add to their momentum.

* THE KINGDOM has once again challenged PREMIER Tag Team Champions reDRagon to a match! THE KINGDOM certainly impressed the PREMIER board of directors by handing reDRagon their first PREMIER loss at PREMIER IX, almost enough to earn them the PREMIER Tag Team titles. reDRagon has a difficult decision either way: if they accept & THE KINGDOM beats them again, the odds of reDRagon's early winning streak saving their titles again is slim, but if reDRagon declines the bout, they also run the risk of THE KINGDOM further swaying the opinions of the board of directors if they're successful against another team. Things are heating up quickly for the tag team champions!
* BRIAN CAGE & TOMMASO CIAMPA, whose last PREMIER wins were two months ago at PREMIER IV, will tangle with each other at PREMIER EXTRAVAGANZA X!

* Galloway congratulates Styles on the hard-fought win before leaving him in the ring to celebrate. As Styles begins to leave ringside, MICHAEL ELGIN emerges from the back & heads to the ring. Styles is unsure of his intentions, but as Elgin passes, he doesn't even look at AJ. Elgin enters the ring & grabs a microphone. He sarcastically congratulates Styles on beating Galloway for the third time & then criticizes AJ for taking an "easy challenge" rather than give him a rematch. Styles slowly starts walking back toward the ring as Elgin speaks. Elgin continues to say that if Styles doesn't think he deserves a rematch, he will change his mind tonight & issues an open challenge! Elgin & the PREMIER Champion stare each other down until ZACK SABRE JR. appears from the back. As Sabre gets close to the ring, Styles stops him & pleads with him to return to the back, but it appears that Zack is also looking to earn a title shot!

* Elgin goes on the offensive early & overpowers the smaller Sabre. Elgin periodically stops his assault to address Styles, who is outside of the ring, enraged. Once Sabre is almost at the point of unconsciousness, Styles jumps onto the apron, begs Elgin to stop, & agrees to give him a rematch at PREMIER XI tomorrow! Elgin, appearing satisfied, delivers a final spinning backfist to Sabre & pins him. |
