Today, about the time I was leaving for PWG's Mystery Vortex III, PWG announced the entire list of 24 participants for this year's tournament:

an idea I read that I really like alot involving some PWG regulars not included in this year's tournament lienup:
Young Bucks, Super Dragon, and Roderick Strong vs. Chuck Taylor, Johnny Gargano, Joey Ryan, and Candice LaRae

Young Bucks, Super Dragon, and Roderick Strong vs. Chuck Taylor, Johnny Gargano, Joey Ryan, and Candice LaRae
Mount Rushmore vs. Best Friends with Benefits Ooo... That makes Candice sound, well, you know. Or maybe Chuck and Joey....never mind. |

Mount Rushmore vs. Best Friends with Benefits although I would be surprised if Chuck Taylor is there, this match idea I posted here from the PWG message board I really think might be similar to one of the non-tournament matches at this year's BOLA with the beatdowns that Joey Ryan, Gargano, and Lerae have been receiving the last 2 shows from Mount Rushmore perhaps Johnny Gargano and World's Cutest Tag Team vs Super Dragon and the Young Bucks? |

actually I just saw that right after I made that above post, PWG has indeed starting the non-tournament matches:
announced so far:
Tommy End/Marty Scurll/Zack Sabre, Jr. face The Young Bucks & Roderick Strong in a non-tournament match on N1 of BOLA!
Andrew Everett/Trevor Lee/Biff Busick face The Young Bucks & Super Dragon in the first ever six-man Guerrilla Warfare match on N2 of BOLA!

PWG also today announced the tournament format which as expected appears to be the same as last year
6 first round matches on night 1 with non-tournament matches
6 first round matches on night 2 with non-tournament matches
quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final round match on night 3 with more non-tournament matches
night 3 has an earlier start time of 5:00

I just read that current PWG World Champion Roderick Strong has resigned with ROH which makes me wonder about his future availability for PWG (and for EVOLVE too for that matter) as ROH has been restricting the use of their wrestlers. I hope Roderick Strong can still work for PWG.
I don't know but perhaps this could mean Roderick Strong drops the title at BOLA? normally there are no title matches at BOLA (although the 2009 tournament was for the title vacated by the departing Bryan Danielson, but I wonder if this could set up a situation where the winner challenges Roderick Strong for the title that very night (PWG does have impromptu matches sometimes) or perhaps before the 3 way finals Strong (who has never won BOLA) demands to be entered in exchange for putting his title on the line in the match? (although in theory if that happened and Strong was to win that match would it actually be winning BOLA if he wasn't in the opening rounds?)
