I really want to go, but I am probably a no at this point
I was supposed to work on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Mirage but those shifts just got cancelled on me due to a pricing issue. i have no shifts so I really doubt I can make it to this event (but if I could of course I really would go.)

well my situation keeps changing
I found out tonight that I had enough points over at Southwest to cover my round trip flight to BOLA. I just bought a flight to BOLA for a total of $11.20 (fees not covered by points.) I also basically already have 2 of my 3 BOLA tickets bought because I bought the tickets for my friends to Friday's PWG show because they were not able to be online when tickets went on sale and they said they'll have that money for me at the show on Friday.
Because my trip to BOLA is suddenly less expensive, I might be able to afford both Cleveland and BOLA 2 weeks later. I just had no luck getting work this Summer, but it is still possible I can get some shifts at the temp agency too. I should know for sure one way or the other by August 3rd. If necessary, I'll probably also buy some parlay cards before I tap out for sure (but I don't tend to do as well betting on baseball as I do on football.)

Thanks to a friend who I also helped out in the past, I just got a job today paying me $150/day. It's only a few shifts but that is really all I need. I may just make it to Cleveland after all.

I picked up a a couple of more shifts today. These ones pay hourly and one of them is a 17 hour shift at the airport and Mandalay Bay next week. With these last minute temp job opportunities, my chances of getting to Cleveland continue to improve.
