Unfortunately, my work schedule is not going to permit it this year... I'm really hoping that next year I will be able to make it to my first GCon... Planning to book vacation time to accomodate these plans... Assuming it is available when my turn to pick comes around... Looking forward to meeting some of the great members of this community... But, it won't be this year...  |

I'd love to be there but am not able this year. I hope they keep doing the Wrestling Geek Fests though because they make it even more tempting.

I might go. It all depends on a few factors:
1. My work schedule for that weekend
2. How much it's going to cost me for the event
3. How I'm going to get to Cleveland (Even though I just had a lot of work done on the engine of my car, I don't exactly trust taking it that far north. I'd rather rent a car or see if I can get my brother to loan me his truck and let him drive my car so that he has transportation to and from work, that is if he agrees to begin with.)
4. Where I'm going to stay and how much it'll cost me in food and gas during the weekend of the event.

If you don't go to the wrestling events, and don't buy any sets, it's 30 dollars for the con. Hotel I believe is 100 dollars a night.

IF Galacticon was still in July I would be there as I always made sure to have that time in July open for the con but the move to August means I can not attend as I already have plans for that weekend.

Going to be odd if I make it with some people who will miss like JCR and Mike Fortune as well as Nathan Wylde. Fingers crossed it moves back to July next year wherever it is. (Two weeks after Gen Con is a royal pain in the butt for me and why I don't know if I'll make it or not)

Next year we will probably move back to July and already have a destination scouted. |
