Quick update: I haven't finished this set yet but am still working on it from time to time. It'll be released eventually, I just don't know when. This may be a bit of an odd question, but does "every wrestler to participate in 2015" include the luchadore's who took part in Fantastica Mania last year? Well, I said every wrestler who participated in New Japan in 2015. Technically, Fantastica Mania is CMLL (despite being filmed and broadcast by New Japan and taking place in their ring) so I ended up leaving them out.

I still look forward to the set all the same!

Really looking forward to how this will turn out. I actually watched Wrestle Kingdom 9 last year, and I was WAY beyond impressed with what I saw.

Switch did a lot for the game, and never received much, if any, appreciation (or even acknowledgment) from the individuals that should have done so. It is a major loss to the community.
That said, this set will be done with the highest quality.

I'm contemplating breaking this up into two parts: the regular members of the roster and then the guys who either were primarily low card guys (like Cody Hall or Captain New Japan) or only did a couple of tours or weren't featured members of the roster. The latter set would be the BOSJ guys, Jado, the NOAH team from WK 9, Suzuki-gun, etc. You'd still be able to play out last year's G1 tournament and the majority of the big matches from last year (if not all of them), but doing a full fledged replay wouldn't be possible right now. I'd like to hear some opinions on possibly doing it this way because splitting it up means the big names would come out quicker but the set as a whole would take much longer to complete, but if I released everything at once I'd be way off from the 'Early 2016' release date I had targeted for this....though I suppose I am already, aren't I?

That would be great, to be honest. The amount of work this has to be is huge and I'd appreciate whatever work you have finished.

I'm always interested in what you've got available. I'm already at the point in Ring of Respect wrestling game time where I'm using whatever NJPW stars from the 2013 and 2014 sets aren't already with either the WWE or listed on WikiPedia as being inactive in NJPW for one reason or another for my version of ROH's WAR OF THE WORLDS interpromotional super card, GLOBAL BATTLES. (13 stars in all, but only 7 are actually going to appear on the I-PPV due to slot limitations, including Tanahashi vs. IWGP Champion Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight title and Yuji Nagata taking on Cedric Alexander for the Ring of Respect Television title. (Veda Scott is banned from ringside for the match because of her giving Cedric the wrench to use on Nagata during their match on Ring of Respect Television, which set up the title match.) If you decide to split the latest set up into two parts, my email address is dpbarnes99@yahoo.com

Alright, so here's how I'm going to break this whole thing up. I'm gonna do three releases. One for the top stars and some legends, one for the junior heavyweights and then one for the outsiders.
In order of release.. [THE HEADLINERS] - A collection of the top stars from 2015 New Japan in addition to headline acts from years past as well as G1 Climax winner cards. [SUPER JUNIORS] - The top junior heavyweight stars from 2015 New Japan, joined by historical cards as well as Super J Cup and Best of the Super Juniors winner cards. [FILLING OUT THE CARD] - Talent that rounds out the roster, providing tag team partners for some of the top acts as well as wrestlers for your undercard. Includes historical cards. [OUTSIDERS] - The wrestlers who competed in New Japan but were not part of the roster. Includes NOAH, Suzukigun, NWA wrestlers and more in addition to famous outside wrestlers from New Japan's past.

Updated the above post with the (most likely) final list for all four of the releases.

Looks good. I know Justin Case has done a lot of PDF stuff in the past, perhaps he could do so if you asked.
