GWF Broken Code
06.11 from The Matrix Theater- In the Ring -Commissioner Carter acknowledged Lord Nexus as the winner of the first Five Man Jeopardy Challenge that occurred during season four. To the cheers of the crowd, Nexus made his way to the ring.
The commissioner shook his hand and then asked him to join the commentary team for the event. As the Titan took a seat at the announcers table, the Carter related the rules of the contest.
- There will be no disqualifications or count-outs. No one will be permitted at ringside.
- When a competitor is pinned or forced to tap out, he must exit the match until the next fall occurs.
- The first man to score a total of four falls will be declared the winner and awarded the GWF TrueVision Championship.
Before the competitors could be introduced, Chaos the Indestructible walked onto the runway. He was accompanied by Magnus Colby and Keepers of the Stone. With the Alpha Stone emitting its usual glow as it hovered above his shoulder, Chaos spoke in a booming voice.
"Enjoy this petty affair because very soon it will all be forgotten. Star Warrior... You sound like a man who knows his time is over. Preaching about how much this business means to you. If that title belt is truly your reason to live... Well, that reason is about to expire. The Elite is unstoppable... I AM INDESTRUCTIBLE... And I WILL BECOME THE GWF UNIVERSAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!"

Match Notes: A dynamic battle that could have been won by any of the competitors with the exception of Mad Jester, who seemed more interested in mocking Lord Nexus at the announcers table. He did offer one entertaining moment with an improvised limerick. 'There once was a man from Titan... Who thought more about friendship than fightin'... Keep your back to a wall... When old foes come to call... Or that card that you see will start bitin'.' Nexus laughed at the poetic nonsense, pointing out that the mad Court member had remained completely ineffective throughout the contest.
No temporary alliances were formed and no one was safe from the attention of their opponents. Rekindling past animosities, King and Mesmer ripped into each other with everything at their disposal. Mesmer struck the first major blow when he scored a shocking pinfall over King while hooking the tights. However, King gained his revenge by gaining two falls over Mesmer, including a submission with the Death Vise.
As expected, Tongsoon relied on a strategy of patience. After several public disputes with Doomsayer, the crowd figured that the Cygnus soldier was growing accustomed to working alone. He produced a solid effort, but fatigue became a serious factor as the marathon progressively wore him down.
It was a combination of superb conditioning and technical experience that brought Dragonmaster the win. Things remained close right up to the end, as King, Mesmer and the Titan were just one fall away from victory. Tongsoon was forced to vacate the ring after Mesmer put him down with the BLACKOUT. Just moments later, King sent a message to Royal Overlord by forcing Jester to tap out. Unfortunately, this quick turnaround meant that Tongsoon had virtually no time to recover. As he staggered back into the ring, Dragonmaster capitalized on the situation. He nailed Tongsoon with the DRAGON DROP and covered him for the final three count.
Fatigue Count: Dragonmaster 5 - King 7 - Mesmer 5 - Tongsoon 6 - Jester 4
Dragonmaster won the GWF TrueVision Championship- Backstage -With a sincere smile, Lord Nexus congratulated Dragonmaster on becoming the first three-time GWF TrueVision Champion. The celebration was short lived, as Doomsayer hovered into view with Tendron marching close behind.
"Don't grow accustomed wearing that title belt. It really didn't come as a shock that you got past the subpar opposition that you faced out there." Tendron glanced nervously his manager, as if remembering that Tongsoon was one of those opponents. "In fact, you want consider if defending against the Transevolved Terror is in your best interests." Nexus saw the answer rising in his friend, but quickly took over the situation. "You let Dreadnaught know that when he comes after one Titan, he comes after them all." Knowing what was coming next, Doomsayer started to laugh.
The Hitman for Hire took out Dragonmaster with the stock of his rifle. Spinning around just an instant too late, Nexus caught a blow that doubled him over. With a Doomsayer's approval, Tendron moved in a continued the beatdown on the new champion. With a salute, Krakan offered his parting sentiment. "Unlike soldiers, Krakan doesn't have to believe in the cause. Krakan just has to get paid."
