Mid-Season Report - Although allegations are flying in the locker room area, there are no leads toward discovering who was responsible for the attack on Commander Sam outside the theater. A spokesperson for the GWF released the following statement: We realize that incidents of this nature are inevitable. Tensions are running extremely high at the moment and we hope to get to the bottom of what took place. Our official position regarding attacks of this nature can be summed up in this way. 'What happens at The Matrix Theater remains at The Matrix Theater.' To that end, law enforcement has agreed to not become involved and allow us to handle the situation internally.- There has been some talk that officials were too quick to disqualify both Massif and Actagon (of The Greek Gods) in their respective first round matchups. There will be a review on how regulations are enforced. For the time being, no actual policy changes have been made and discretion lies entirely with the referee in charge. - At the present time, Omega is the only member of the current roster that possesses an official manager's license. Strictly speaking, that means that he is the only person permitted to accompany other wrestlers to their matches. As witnessed by Death Knight's presence during Exo-King's matches, this rule is not being enforced. - Omega has accused Thantos of trying to intentionally injure Star Warrior following his last tournament bout against Comrade Terror. In response, it was Star Warrior who spoke up first. "No matter what they were trying to accomplish, the job didn't get done. Thantos and I will settle up where it counts... Inside the ring!" - Already speculations surrounding a possible second season of GWF Broken Code have started. The Matrix Theater has expressed interest in pursuing a long-term contract with the GWF and the production company in charge of the show. New talent is currently auditioning for spots on a slightly expanded roster. GWF UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS1. Comrade Terror (tie) 3-1 1. Lord Nexus (tie) 3-1 3. Star Warrior (tie) 2-2 3. It is always nice to see the golden years of the GWF...love the format and have to say that this fed is rocking!
Ghenghis Khan and Executioner were two time Galaxian Tag Champs in my fed back in the day...I believe I called them the masters of disaster and weirdly are undefeated in your fed...and who is trailing?!?!? The duo of vanity and killer queen- weird things happen with those pesky dice sometimes.
Lord Nexus isn't a real suprise as his card is stacked for the era and is overlooked a lot of times as being one of the top 4 IMO...that would be kewl to see the Titan grab the gold.
Great stuff pariah (I read the entire thread while waiting for a person to show up to fix his laptop...nothing like keeping me waiting I tell us) and I will keep my eyes locked in on this fed for sure!

Thank you so much for the kind words... I'm really happy that I went back and started things from 2087... I'm having alot of fun with the format (props to Lucha Underground for the inspiration here)... I might have my other GWF adopt this as well... Back when I originally played (over 25 years ago), I remember Nexus being one of the top guys, for sure... Executioner & Khan are a bit of a surprise, but I think they fit well as a team... As always, it's great seeing some feedback... It often helps me decide what direction I want to take things next... Much appreciated!

We might have to change the banner to whoever wins the GWF Universe Championship as they are the new face of the GWF. Comrade Terror or Lord Nexus is beating the three faces of the GWF.
