Site Problems

Just wondering... Has there been alot of work being done on the site lately?

Over the past few weeks, I've noticed the online game has been suffering from pretty serious 'lag' issues... And it seems like at least once a day, I can't get anything to load at all... For someone who only plays the online version and has invested quite a bit into it, it's getting a bit frustrating...

Any answers would be appreciated... Thanks.

* I must add, that this past month or so has been the first time in quite awhile that I've experienced any severe issues with the site... Up until recently, I've been quite happy with its performance.

Been having my issues too. Can't change feds, when i put in a match on manage a card it puts it in there twice. It can be a bit aggravating

Lag as been an on and off issue for me for a quite a while. It gets mentioned on the boards every so often, but nothing ever gets done about it. I will say that I created a couple of my own online-related problems a while back, and the FG guys went above and beyond to help me.

Unfortunately, Online, as a system, seems to get very little attention. It is past due for some major upgrades. There's also the length of time between releases of the classic sets.

I pointed out simple things like the rankings issue that seems like an easy fix (tag-team wins aren't factored in to the total points) but just got "yelled" at not to talk negatively about anything. I really love the site, use it all the time, was just hoping for a tweak to make it accurate. Oh well, had to come up with my own rankings adjustment program. I just remember when I got back into the game, the cotgonline site was just coming into being and there was so much excitement and passion surrounding it. I think that carried over to the game as well (remember when Iron Hand was unmasked?) Now, when a new set comes out, there's almost no discussion about it and it makes me worry that with Tom's move to Arizona, the focus on Shimmer, Legends, ROH, etc. and the lag in interest that COTG will fade into the sunset.
