ABSOLUTE INTENSE WRESTLING
JOSH ALEXANDER
"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander debuted in AIW in 2012 and for a year, went unbeaten at AIW's then-home Turners Hall. It was at the JT Lighting Invitational Tournament in 2013 that everything would change for Alexander, as an enzuigiri from ACH caused massive fluid build up in Josh's ear, resulting in him not being cleared to compete the next night. Josh decided to go against doctor's orders and in under a minute, he was defeated by Michael Elgin. The two would have a rematch at Absolution VIII, a critically acclaimed match that went to a 30:00 draw. This would be followed by a match at the Double Dare Tag Team Invitational which saw a double pin situation take place after 40:00 of wrestling. Alexander continued to work his way through the ranks of AIW, including wrestling Tim Donst to a 30:00 draw in a match to determine the next challenger for Elgin's Absolute Championship at Failure By Degisn in August of 2014. Due to issues beyond AIW's control, Elgin was forced to vacate the title which lead to Alexander facing Donst once again at Wrestle Rager Night 3 a month later, with Donst wining the Absolute Championship. Alexander continued to battle through AIW until Donst unfortunately had to relinquish the championship, which prompted AIW to book a four way match for the Absolute Championship in February 2015. On that night, with the help of Veda Scott, the Walking Weapon won the AIW Absolute Championship, a title he would hold for five months before ultimately losing the title to Rickey Shane Page at Absolution X. Two days later, due to mounting neck injuries, Alexander retired on an Alpha-1 Wrestling show in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

ETHAN PAGE
#AllEgo has been a fixture at the top of the card in AIW almost since his debut. Page first won the AIW Absolute Championship at Absolution VIII with the help of Seleziya Sparx after she turned on Colin Delaney, opening the door for Page to cash in his championship match granted by winning the 2013 JT Lighting Invitational Tournament to become the Absolute Champion. Page held the title until he was defeated by Ultramantis Black at the Double Dare Tag Team Invitational in November 2013, but would regain the title a month later...only to lose it on that same night to Michael Elgin. Following that loss, Page and his new tag team partner Louis Lyndon became a force in AIW before quietly separating as Page began a war with Eddie Kingston. At Absolution IX, Kingston made some inflammatory remarks about AIW and its fans which lead to Page running Kingston off, feeling Kingston had run down the one promotion that gave him a shot. The two engaged in brutal wars over the next several months, including a bloody Dog Collar Match at Hell on Earth X and an I Quit match at Absolution X.

RICKEY SHANE PAGE
When you bring up AIW in its formative years, Rickey Shane Page--or Christian Faith, is likely one of the names you're going to think of first. The big man has been around since the very beginning and is one of the men who to this day symbolizes everything AIW stands for. Page is a monster, at 6'5 and 282 pounds, but he's also incredibly agile given his size and has shown in the past that he has absolutely zero problem getting into the ugliest, most violent hardcore matches imaginable. Page was part of the #NIXON stable that also included Eric Ryan, Jimmy Jacobs, Chris Dickinson, Necro Butcher and Bobby Beverly. After the dissolution of that group, Page set his sights on the AIW Absolute Championship, having never held a singles championship in his home state before, Page viewed that as the ultimate goal for him in AIW. Page came close to winning the title at Hell on Earth X in a four way match that saw Tim Donst retain the Absolute Championship and again at I Choo-Choo-Choose You where, if not for the interference of Veda Scott, Page would have won the championship. Page rebounded, winning AIW's annual Gauntlet for the Gold and putting away Alexander at Absolution X to win the Absolute Championship.

ROLLING ELBOW – Tornado elbow smash
TIM DONST
For the last several years, Tim Donst has called AIW home. Cast out from other promotions that he had made a name with, Donst set his sights on Cleveland and the AIW Absolute Championship. Donst's first Absolute Championship win would come at Absolution VII as he won a four way elimination match that included Rickey Shane Page and Eric Ryan. Donst held the championship for five months before losing the title to Eric Ryan at The End of the World on 12/21. Donst would make his way back to the title in 2014, after winning Gauntlet for the Gold he was granted a shot at Michael Elgin at Absolution IX. Donst would be unsuccessful in his bid for the championship there and after a 30:00 draw with Josh Alexander at Failure By Design, he found himself in a three way dance with Alexander and Elgin at Wrestle Rager Night 1. The match was hard fought, but went to a one hour draw which lead to a rematch between the three on Night 3. Elgin was unable to make it and was stripped of the title, making the match a rematch of the Donst/Alexander clinic from a month before, only this time Donst would find himself victorious. Donst held the championship until February when he was forced to vacate the title, but four and a half months later, Donst returned to AIW at Absolution X.

DAVEY VEGA
Davey Vega is often considered one of the more versatile pro wrestlers on the independent scene. A fixture in the midwest, Vega has been a regular member of the roster since 2012, when he formed the Sex Bob-Ombs with Mat Fitchett. While that team was successful in many regards, Vega's biggest success came in the Intense division as he won the Intense Championship at Absolution IX, ending Louis Lyndon's 303 day title reign. Since then, Vega has embarked on the longest reign in the championship's history. Vega’s technical prowess combined with his high flying ability make him a tough competitor to beat.
WATER FOR ELEPHANTS – a vertical suplex dropped into a backbreaker
LOUIS LYNDON
If you ask those in the know, they'll tell you that Louis Lyndon is one of independent wrestling's best kept secrets. He's a very talented, entertaining performer who had a near yearlong Intense Championship run, winning a huge ladder match to win the vacant championship and turning back all challengers, including the likes of Kevin Steen, Johnny Gargano and ACH before Davey Vega ultimately downed him at Absolution IX to take the title. After his title loss, Lyndon has become a mainstay in AIW's signature scramble matches and has even challenged Vega in some of those scramble matches for the Intense Title that Vega took away though those bids were ultimately unsuccessful.
DRAGON SLEEPER – Inverted facelock
ERIC RYAN
In terms of accomplishments in AIW, Eric Ryan's just about done it all. He's a former two time Absolute Champion as well as a three time AIW Tag Team Champion. Ryan has a hard hitting style of wrestling that also sees him utilize submissions to put away his opponents. Ryan was part of the #NIXON stable that also included Rickey Shane Page, The Duke, Necro Butcher, Jimmy Jacobs, Chris Dickinson and Bobby Beverly. Since the dissolution of #NIXON, Ryan has become a fixture in the four and six man scramble matches that AIW is known for.

YOUTHANAZIA (JOSH PROHIBITION and M-DOGG MATT CROSS)
When you bring up the Ohio wrestling scene, chances are the first two names you’re going to hear are “Josh Prohibition” and “M-Dogg 20″…and for good reason. The two were largely responsible for putting the scene on the map in the early 2000s due to their exposure on the Backyard Wrestling DVDs and video games. Since that time, the two have wrestled around the world in just about every independent promotion in existence, both against each other and as a tag team named Youthanazia.
In recent years Matt Cross has continued to build up his name throughout North America, garnering National TV acclaim. Meanwhile Josh Prohibition has limited his schedule to battles primarily at AIW, where he feels is his true wrestling home. Their feud reignited recently when Cross returned as part of the “Dudes on TV” faction, while Prohibition quickly came to the aid of Team AIW who sought to fight off this threat. Prohibition scored the win for his team at Absolution X, but there’s no telling when this long-time rivalry will end.
Prohibitionplex – Exploder Suplex
DRUNKEN DRIVER – Double Underhook Piledriver
DEATH FROM ABOVE – Corkscrew 450 Splash
TO INFINITY AND BEYOND (CHEECH and COLIN DELANEY)
Usually when a tag team comes together, it takes a bit of time for them to get things down and really become successful. Consider these two the exception to the rule, having spent a lot of their careers as established tag team wrestlers, the two came together in February 2015 in a four way tag team title match that saw them fall short of winning AIW's Tag Team Championship, but came back to win the title just a month later. With some big wins under their belts it's clear what appeared to be a makeshift team are a force to be reckoned with. Neither are slouches in singles wrestling either, with Delaney being a former AIW Absolute Champion and Cheech holding multiple singles titles in the Northeast.
GO TO CHEECH – A fireman’s carry into a knee to the face
LUNGBLOWER – A double knee back breaker
DICK JUSTICE
Bar none, Dick Justice is one of the most entertaining acts in pro wrestling. The "Supercop" debuted as part of Gregory Iron's Iron Curtain at the JT Lightning Invitational Tournament in 2014. However in 2015, Justice formed his own group with members of the Iron Curtain, deemed the League of Justice and began a short feud with the current Iron Curtain. Justice continues to entertain crowd, whether it is as Robocop, against Nightmare Freddie or fighting for his beloved America!
