Well, it seemed appropriate with the 'Underrated' thread. SinglesWolf - Measured against his overall popularity and somehow always being involved in the biggest feuds - he was overrated in my fed. He was decent, but usually got his butt kicked against the top guys Bishop Hell - Started out well, but got buried as the roster got deeper and deeper Holocaust - all hype, plain and simple Colossus - Never a consistant threat and didn't take advantage of his big matches. To be fair, he didn't get pushed a lot because I really didn't like him. Couldn't get past how Exo-King's robot implants were illegal, but there was no problem with a complete cyborg. Never got into the character. Mandrill - Partial vote here. He was a total bottom dweller until he started getting updated Paragon - another example of 'overhype', hovered right outside the top 10 his whole career Tag Team The New Order - they were good, but they were supposed to come in and stand up to the Glads. Brute/Massacre crushed them consistently in my fed Superiority Complex - ok, but were always beat by the Glads, SW/Thantos, New Order, and the Mercenaries

Some that immediately jump out to me....
Wolf -- I used to think it was sacrilege, but apparently others shared a similar experience....but Wolf, for as much hype and as long as his career was, never was a worldbeater for me. He captured the top title a couple times, but never really got past upper midcard for me.
Genocide -- in part, I just never liked his mechanics when he and Buck Steele shared the same spot....but he never amounted to much in his career.
Alpha Force -- despite how crazy powerful his early card(s) were, he never kept it together and always played a distant second fiddle to Chaos.
Max Shield -- choked when it -really- counted for me....another upper mid carder
Desolation Factor -- never did much, and I never cared for them either

Bishop Hell leaps out for me, too. That stupid DQ finisher cost him more matches than I can remember, but there were a lot of big ones in there. Problem is, without it, he's not that solid of a card. Good, but not great.
I found Pegasus (2095) to be horribly inconsistent, He's another one who had the makings of a great card, but if you got him down, he was in deep trouble.
Monad. Four arms, no talent. I wished he would get split back into Desolation Factor every new set until he left the game.

Monolith, 26-14. For the greatest card ever, that record blows.
I agree with Wolf.

I'd give Paragon the top spot for being overrated. He's never won anything in my feds. I'd agree on Holocaust and Colossus, too, although they both had some success for me. Terminus might fall into that category as well, although I just started using his special edition card for 2111, and that helps him a lot. The original Terminus card would definitely qualify as overrated for me.
For tag teams, Desolation Factor would be near the top of the list. Superiority Complex is also a good call. But I would not agree on the New Order. They were one of the very best for me.

Cosmic Forces, not Desolation Factor I only point that out because a) I loved the Cosmic Forces and b) I didn't like Desolation Factor

Wolf for me has not been very well when it comes to the big matches. So for me he has probably been the most overrated.

lets see
Wolf- I never "got it" when it came to this card....He wasn't great, His popularity took him to the top, not his card!
Holocaust- what a huge let down he was...Great art and awful stats.
Hercules- This guy never did "JACK" for me..His card seemed decent but he never produced anything but loses.
Buck Steele/Genocide- I really wanted to like this card....but "they" sucked!
Superiority Complex- They were no where near what they were hyped to be...huge disappointment.
Paragon- need I say any more!
thats some for now, I've got tons more.
