What Chuck Taylor card do you use in Olde Wrestling--Chikara, Evolve, or LOTF? I use his Evolve card. Does anyone know if Chuck T shenanigans are the same thing as his LOTF jaw at the crowd chart or something else? Does he do any specific shenanigans in Olde Wrestling that he doesn't do in other feds? When Marion Fontaine and Jervis Cottonbelly team up, are stereo running avalanche splashes done to the same opponent or to both opponents in opposite corners at the same time? Also, what is Cottonbelly's Mickey Mousetrap? His bio on the Chikara board says a pinning combination, but I can't find any info online about what kind of pin it is. Do you use other wrestlers to fill out the roster in your Olde fed, and do you give them "Olde" gimmicks? I use Brutus beefcake as an old-time barber. Any ideas on how to use Marty Jannetty and Greg Valentine? I also use the Cauliflower Alley Club 6-Pack as Prohibition Era gangsters. Can anyone explain Ron Hutchison's Shediac Lobster Trap and Olympic Roll-Up? I think of a roll-up as a schoolboy, but I don't think they do that in the Olympics. |

I personally use the Chuck Taylor/Thantos card from the Live Event set, but otherwise I think any other version would work. It just depends on how strong do you want him to be in the OTW fed.
I also use Matt Classic (aka Colt Cabana), Tracy Smothers, and Thunderkitty (Smothers and Thunderkitty have actually appeared in OTW).

The stereo avalanches are to both opponents in opposite corners. Not sure about those other moves you mentioned though.

Thanks for the info, guys. I never thought of using Colt Cabana as Matt Classic. He'd fit right in with Olde Wrestling. I can just picture him and Matthew Cross as MC Squared.

Taylor's gimmick in OW is pretty different. He's a shoeless moonshiner baby face against the prohibition heels.

I didn't know that Taylor was shoeless in OW. Now when I use the LOTF jaw at crowd chart for the Chuck T Shenanigans on the Evolve card, I'll have to come up with something else when he takes his shoe off and throws it. Thanks for the info.

Is there anyone running an Olde Tyme promotion? I used a few of the cards in my Japan fed for a little while. Haven't had them anywhere else yet.

Not a promotion (hard to do with 15 wrestlers especially when two are new) but I use them both in my indy's and my online legends fed.

15 is plenty to run a small indy fed or territory, however you are envisioning it.
