The great Don Fargo at the age of 85 years old has passed away. Don Fargo was one of the truly greats in professional wrestling. He helped pave the way for those of us who followed. Fargo did it all in pro wrestling and life!! He was the Main Event in just about every arena in the world, to being shot at by the Hells Angels. I had the pleasure of meeting him while I was in WCCW. Mr. Fargo allowed me to take some promo photos sitting on his motorcycle..He told me "normally I would never let anyone sit on my bike, but for you kid, I will". A really nice man. My condolences go out to his family. There will never be a another "Wildman" Don Fargo the mold was broken with him ...RIP my wrestling brother. .... We're sorry to report that Don Kalt, who worked under a lot of different names, most notably Don Fargo of the original Fabulous Fargos tag team, and Don Stevens as part of the Stevens Brothers with Ray Stevens, passed away today at the age of 85. He was one of the most colorful characters in pro wrestling history and was a major star in the 50s, 60s and 70s all over the world.
