I played this game to death.
Loved it. Made tons of bootlegs for it back in the 80s. So much fun.

Always wondered if this game was worth a punt. Looks a little dry but it's so hard to find out anything about it (especially here in the UK.) There's a guy who is always selling it on Ebay, but I think it's a bootleg set and there's no real photos of the content so I'm unsure.
Would love to know how the game mechanics work too.

I think the Ebay guy is selling a game he devised and trying to trade on the reputation of the old Superstar game. Nostalgia aside, there's no reason to buy Superstar. It was the state-of-the art in tabletop wrestling games 30-35 years ago, but it has been far surpassed by COTG/LOW and other games available these days. I spent many hours happily playing it back when. I can't imagine spending a minute playing it today.

You can find this game for sale on E-Bay once in a while but it usually goes for a lot of money. Be careful there's another game called the original superstar pro wrestling game. Its not the same or nearly as good. Eventhough it's a different game the owner uses images from the other game.

I'm the developer behind the Pro Wrestling Superstar PC game which is inspired the Superstar Pro Wrestling game. I just wanted to drop in with some updates on the game which has been around since 2003. Over the last six months I've made a fair number of enhancements and bug fixes. Some of the features include: a Battle Royal mode, triple threat/fatal four-way matches, a Promotion Manager (roster, championships, title history), and Managers/Valets. If you'd like more info on the game check out prowrestlingsuperstar.comApologies for barging in on this thread, but I'm just trying to get the word out. Thanks for your time! John
