TOP NEWSFormer WWF Tag Team Champion Dynamite Kid hospitalized, in rough shape ByGreg BeckPosted on December 9, 2015 dynamite kid tom billington 5SHARES SHARE TWEET SHARE EMAIL The Wrestling Observer newsletter reports that former WWF Tag Team Champion “Dynamite Kid” Tom Billington (one-half of The British Bulldogs) is hospitalized in the United Kingdom after suffering a stroke.
The situation is said to be very serious and he’s been in the hospital for six weeks. His speech has improved but physically, his condition has worsened. In the hospital, there was a point where Billington thought he was in a wrestling ring so he started calling spots for a match with Abdullah The Butcher.
He has suffered from at least one other stroke because I remember that WWE.com posted something on their website back in 2013 and they noted that he was hospitalized and may have endured more than one stroke during that week.
Billington turned 57 years old on Saturday.

So weird, I've been watching a lot of his early days in Stampede Wrestling on Youtube. Man, he was quick, and he played a good villain back in the day. Both he and Chris Benoit were like spitting image of each other inside that ring. He was in such good shape. Hard to believe he has all these health issues now. Hope he recovers.

His battles with Tiger Mask are some of my favourite matches. There's also some great footage of him against Mark Rocco on World Of Sport on Youtube. It's brutal and very stiff!
