Hi guys I've just got my Evolve set and also just started watching Evolve from the beginning, and am about to start an Evolve-style fed where wins and losses matter and keep everyone's records like they do.
I understand they get a championship later, do they still do the records after that?
The book that comes with the game has a Fray match which I guess is an elimination match, so how does that work with records?
That's really what I'm asking, how are win/loss records handled in relation to elimination matches (like does everyone get a loss except the winner, cos that seems a bit harsh)?

I give everyone a loss in multi-person matches. If you show up in a match and don't win then you lost.
All of my feds are record based and I try to keep appearances even. When someone leaves and someone new comes into the fed that person gets a tonne of matches in short order so they can catch up to the rest of my roster.
My top ten singles and top five tags teams are based on overall wins and losses. So if someone new comes in and gets on a roll they can quickly work there way into the top ten, while some of the older wrestlers struggle to get back into the top ten.

When I started my EVOLVE Wrestling I used the Wins Loss records and I just returned to them in my 7th EVOLVE game year. I usually have the top four go for the EVOLVE Championship and then the lower ranked go for the Open the Freedom Gate Championship, but this is a free flowing style. I like keeping track, but I also add matches that are storyline driven no matter the record or match outcomes...
The FRAY Match I give everyone a loss, but in a 3 person or 4 person Freestyle I give it 1 person a loss who is pinned and the others not involved with the outcome does not get a win or loss, infact at the real EVOLVE 4 they mention that...

Yeah CC I know in 4 way matches that aren't elimination the guys not involved in the fall don't get anything, it just seems a bit unfair that in a Fray match someone might come in first, eliminate 4 other guys and then have someone come in last and win with a couple of moves, and the guy who did the work only receive a loss and the guy who did nothing get a win!

This has more to do with where the match comes from, but does the Fray Match come in the first or second set for Evolve? My brother got the first one at Wrestle Con last year (2014, to be more exact) and just got the cards, no book. If the Fray Match is in the first set, I'll have him contact the appropriate people.
