Wrestling Wrap-up Weekly - Vol 2, Issue 34
Rumors and News
- ROH's next PPV, Glory By Honor, will be Sunday 9/11. They should be announcing matches soon.
- A source said that Larry Sweeney has something really big install for ECW. He could not give specifics but said it would be something that could change the game.
ROH
8/24 The show opens with Bullet Club taking on Backseat Boyz. This was the definition of a squash match. Trent Acid got in the first offensive move and after that it was all Bullet Club as they got an impressive win. The next match was Jay Lethal taking on former teammate in the House of Truth, Rhino who now runs with S.C.U.M. The match was a real good back and forth then Jay hit Rhino with a low blow that he followed up with a Lethal Injection and put the big man away. Lethal has been on a roll of late.
We get a promo from MCMG. Daniels talks about how they should be tag champions but S.C.U.M. sliced their tires and hijacked the opportunity. Well tonight they will beat reDRagon like they would have a few weeks back and go on to face Team S.C.U.M. at Glory By Honor and get the belts they deserve. Then it is to the ring for AJ Styles against Silas Young. It was a good match with Silas doing surprisingly well. However AJ kept getting close to a win and Silas was getting frustrated. When the action spilled to the outside the frustration got the better of him and he grabbed a chair and hit AJ with it to get disqualified. Losing the match got him madder and he kept hitting AJ till Bullet Club ran out to make the save. They three members of Bullet Club beat Silas down. It was then time for the main event as reDRagon faced MCMG in a number one contender match. It was a shocking quick win as reDRagon got a fast pin on Daniels. The Guns were so confused and could not believe they lost.

8/20 The show starts with an announcement that since the Road Warriors are looking for a challenge they will get to defend them tonight in the main event. It will be against King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd. The camera than cuts to the Warriors who are upset but Animal says they beat them once so they can beat them again. Then to the ring for the opening match. Blackjack Mulligan makes his in ring debut against Brutus Beefcake. Brutus attacks before the bell and is in control till he starts getting cocky. Then Blackjack quickly works him over and finishes him off with the Claw. After the match Steve Williams storms the ring trying to get his hands on Blackjack but the big cowboy runs away. Next Boris Zhukov and Ivan Koloff, know known as The Russian Bears, took on Poffo Power. The Bears were in control as they worked over Lanny but then the action went to the floor and Ivan grabbed the chain he brings to the ring and started hitting Lanny with it causing the ref to call for the bell. Poffo Power won by DQ but they could not celebrate as the Bears took out Angelo and then proceeded to beat down his son.
Jimmy Snuka and Don Leo Jonathan tangled next. Jimmy put up a good fight for a bit but the vet was too much and Don Leo got the win. Then it was main event time as the Road Warriors defended their Tag Team Championship against Heenan Family members King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd. The first time these teams faced off was a brutal match. The rematch was not that way at all. The Road Warriors are trying to stamp their place in history as the best tag team and they rolled through their bigger opponents this time.

8/23 Hamilton Wrecking Crew and Valiant Brothers kick off the show. The Valiants are in control early to the surprise of the Crew. Then JJ Dillon distracts the ref allowing his men to cheat and gain control. Before long, thanks to an eye gouge, they finish off Johnny. Freddie Blassie and Red Bastien are in the next match. It starts off good but Freddie finishes off Red with multiple knee drops. After the win Freddie continues with the multiple knee drops leaving Red laid out.
Harley Race and Owen Hart are next and it was almost like the vet Race was playing with the lesser experienced opponent. Owen got in a little bit of offense but not nearly enough before Race put him away. American Starship and The Empire were in the main event. Finley and Coyote started the match and Finley was looking to make Coyote pay for putting him out of action awhile back. The Empire worked him over but he was able to tag in Eagle. Eagle got tossed out of the ring and Finley went out after him. Eagle was tossing Finley around and did not stop when the ref instructed him to and got his team distracted. After the match ended both teams were brawling as the show ended.
World Champion: Buddy Rogers Tag Team Champions: The Sheepherders
ECW
8/22 The show started with a match between Sabu and Rex Havoc. Rex came out with his manager, Dark Menace. It seemed the manager was turning his attention from The Sheik to his nephew. The action goes back and forth till Dark Menace distracts Sabu by grabbing at his legs as he was bouncing off the ropes. After that Rex finished off Sabu after hitting his finisher for the third time. Then there is a video of Larry Sweeney. He is talking about how he tried to help wrestlers in ECW but they all ignored him. They laughed at him. Now they will pay. Especially D'lo Brown, Val Venis and Sandman. He is going to destroy them and all of ECW. He is bringing Armageddon to ECW. Then we have tag team action as Wolves take on PG-13. The Wolves dominated J.C. Ice but could not put him away. He was able to tag out to Wolfie D. Wolfie got in some offense before the Wolves got back in control and eventually the win.
The Destroyer had his first match in ECW in months as he took on Necro Butcher. Necro started the action but soon The Destroyer was working him over. The Destroyer wore the Butcher down with single leg Boston Crab attempts and finally put him away with a figure four. Impressive return for him. The World Champion Taz defended his title in the main event against top contender the Sandman. Things started good for the Sandman but when south real quick when he took a nasty fall on the concrete outside of the ring. After that it was all Taz and he successfully defended his championship.
World Champion: Taz Tag Team Champions: VKM TV Title: Al Snow
CHIKARA
8/19 After last weeks wild tag action it was back to a regular show including matches for the Grand Champion tournament. But before that there was some residue as the new champs, Bravado Brothers, were in the ring to celebrate their victory from last week. They talked about how it was a hard road but they had finally arrived. As they are talking about finally proving their critiques wrong the music for Naptown Dragons hits. They come out and get in the ring to confront the Branados. They talk about how the brothers should not even be in CHIKARA. How they beat them to keep them from joining CHIKARA so it makes no sense they stand here in the ring with the gold. But the Dragons will be coming for the gold and will beat them just like they did before. Then the music for BDS plays and out to the top of the ramp comes Ares. He said die Jager were not ready for the title defense last week so the win should not count. They want their belts back. Lance Bravado asks where Claudio was and Ares looked stumped for a bit than he said not to worry about that. Claudio is taking care of some business and die Jager are going to be champs again. Cut to commercial. The action started with a match in the tournament between Eddie Kingston and Crossbones. A win for Eddie would assure he would at the least end up tied at the top of his block and would mean Crossbones would be eliminated from winning it. Crossbones knew that and he took it to Eddie. He fought like a man possessed and pulled off the upset. We then get an announcement that CHIKARA officials have come up with a plan to handle the situation with Naptown Dragons and die Jager. Next week they will face off in a special tag match. It will be a 3 Point Match meaning the winner will earn three points and thus an automatic shot at the Campeonatos de Parejas titles. This sure is big news. Then back to the ring as Daizee Haze and Fire Ant faced off. Lately Fire has been having issues with some of the BDS members including Daizee. He took it to her at the opening bell but she fought back and finished him off. She laughed as she left the ring while he just sat there shaking his head.
Next was tag action as The Throwbacks took on Incoherence. The Throwbacks were looking to earn their third point. It was a solid match with lots of action, double teaming and guys flying outside of the ring. In the end The Throwbacks got the won and the third point. It seems the new Campeonatos de Parejas champions will be having challengers lining up as this week The Throwbacks have earned enough points and next week either Naptown Dragons or die Jager will do the same. The main event was another Grand Champion tournament match. Tyler Black and Johnny Gargano faced off. Early on Johnny had Tyler back on his heels. He hit his finisher a couple times but could not put Tyler away. The BDS leader fought back and ended up getting the win. The win gave Tyler six points and puts the pressure on Chris Hero to win to keep pace. The win also meant that Johnny Gargano and Icarus were eliminated from possibly winning their block. Mike Quackenbush must win out and needs Chris Hero to beat Tyler Black to keep from being eliminated himself.

Rumors and News
- ROH has officially announced two matches for their upcoming PPV. Team S.C.U.M. will defend the Tag Team Championship against #1 contenders reDRagon. Also War Machine will have a Fight Without Honor match against Backseat Boyz. The Boyz have been dominating War Machine in their matches and War Machine are NOT happy about that.
- AWA officials are working on putting on a PPV of their own in the next couple months. When we have more info we will pass it on to you.
ROH
8/31 Matt Sydal of Generation Next and Kazarian start the show off. Kaz was on top at the beginning as he took it to Matt. He made a few unsuccessful pin attempts and it came back to haunt him as Sydal fought back and got the win. We get an announcement that Jay Lethal will get his title shot tonight in the main event. In the next match the leader of Generation Next, Austin Ares, squared off against Matt Taven. Taven showed why he was a former World Champion as he was dominating The Greatest Man to Ever Live. It seemed Taven was going to get the win but Roderick Strong came down to distract the ref. Then as Ares recovered he got the attention of the ref which allowed Strong to attack Taven. After that Ares was in control and finished off Taven.
We see The Brian Kendrick and Moose in back walking to the ring for their match. Austin Ares walks by and stops them to talk. He says he likes what he sees in their team and offers them a spot in Generation Next. Kendrick says of course he wants them in his group but they will have to turn down the offer. Moose looks surprised. He looks at Brian than at Ares and just shrugs his shoulders. The team walk off leaving Ares pondering something. The Brian Kendrick and Moose face off against Forever Hooligans. It is a good back and forth match but eventually the Hooligans finish off The Brian Kendrick with their finisher. Kevin Steen defends his World Championship in the main event against former champion Jay Lethal. Lethal was dominating the action early. He had the champ in trouble when Team S.C.U.M. run down to distract the ref and give Steen time to recover. The ref then made Steen's teammates head to the back. Kevin's control was short lived as Jay Lethal fought back and got some close pin attempts. That is when Truth Martini and Donovan Dijak came down to ringside. As Truth got on the apron to talk to the ref, Donovan got in the ring and attacked Lethal. After that Kevin Steen was able to finish off Jay Lethal to remain the World Champion.

NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling
8/27 The show starts with B Brian Blair in the back on the phone when Gorgeous George walks up. They start talking trash when Jim Brunzell walks up and tells George that Blair is not alone. George says neither is he when someone attacks Jim from behind. George than starts fighting with Brian as the camera shows who attacked Jim. It is none other than Dalton Castle! After George and Dalton have laid out the Bees Gorgeous George tells them they have a match tonight and he and Dalton will see them in the ring later. Then it is time for the first match as Tommy Rich takes on Hacksaw Jim Duggan. It was a dominating win for Tommy as he finished off Duggan with a piledriver. Then Don Leo Jonathan and Fritz von Goering had a match. Don Leo got a quick win against Heenan's man via the Swing.
Next is tag action as the Killer Bees come out to face George and Dalton. The new men to NWA:GCW came out and their tag team name is Glam Gods. While the Glam Gods are an unusual team they sure worked well together and picked up the win over the more established team of the Bees. Then it is main event time as Steve "Dr Death" Williams finally gets his hands on Blackjack Mulligan. Sadly things did not go the way Steve had hoped as the match started as a hard hitting affair but soon as Mulligan slapped on his Clawhold finisher it was over. Blackjack defeated Steve.

8/30 Hit Squad vs. Love Brothers started the action and the Hit Squad were hitting it on all cylinders and got the win thanks to Bret's Sharpshooter. Next Four Horsemen member Killer Kowalski took on Bobby Shane. Kowalski simply crushed Bobby and finished him off with the Claw. Next Harley Race and Frank Gotch went at it. Frank was in control to begin as he wore Harley down with guillotine chokes. He tossed Race out of the ring and went out after him and that was a big mistake. Race beat Gotch down outside of the ring, tossed him back in and after a bit more offense hit the piledriver to finish off Frank. As Harley left the ring Gotch just sat there with a surprised look on his face. Guess he was trying to figure what happened when he seemed to have everything in hand. The main event was The Sheepherders taking on the Hamilton Wrecking Crew for the World Tag Team Championship. It seemed the Crew was not as ready as they thought they were as the champs had them on defense for most of the match before finally finishing them off. Since returning The Sheepherders have been simply dominating.

8/29 The show beings with Raven and Tina Moretti walking in the back with Raven's arm slung around Tina's shoulders. Stevie Richards walks up and tries talking to Raven about his TV Title shot tonight but Raven stops him. Raven tells Stevie to go away and stay away from him especially in the main event tonight. Stevie looks heartbroken as Raven and Tina walk off. The opening match was between two of the best high flyers in the business right now, RVD and Rich Swann. It seemed this would be a real good match but RVD simply dominated Rich and got a quick, impressive win. After the match we get a video promo. It is of the owl we saw before flying then landing on top of a pyramid. The words "We See You" flash across the image and then we hear a low male voice say "illumination will come from the shadows". The next match sees Jon Moxley take on The Patriot. This was a good, hard hitting match that saw Jon come out on top.
We see Stevie Richards sitting in a stairwell in back looking confused and sad. A large man dressed in plain clothes, much like an Amish man would wear, comes up and asks Stevie what is wrong. Stevie said his best friend does not want him around and now he had no friends. The large man says he is new here and has no friends either. Perhaps they can be friends. He says his name is Jacob but his friends back home called him Amish Roadkill. He reaches his hand out for a handshake. Stevie looks at it for a bit then gets a big grin on his face and shakes the hand. Stevie says he thinks this is the start of a beautiful relationship. Next the former tag team champs and Flock members Briscoe Brothers have a match with the Mongols. The Brothers dominated their opponents and got the win. Then it is the main event as Al Snow defends his TV Title against Raven. It is a good back and forth match with Raven getting close to winning when suddenly The Destroyer runs down and makes a pin save. He slams Raven a couple times then rolls out of the ring. Al uses this to his advantage as he starts wearing Raven down and finally finished him off for the win. After the match Al looks down at The Destroyer who is on the floor ring side. The Destroyer looks up then slowly raises his hands over his head and his hands make the triangle hand gesture. Al looks around a bit, stares back down then smiles and also makes the triangle hand gesture over his head. We have seen this from The Shard and VKM before. Is there some connection here?

CHIKARA
8/26 A Grand Champion tournament match starts the show as Delirious takes on Brodie Lee. A win for Lee would keep him in the running to win his block while a loss by Delirious would eliminate him. Early on it seemed that is what would happen as Brodie was dominating his smaller opponent. He made a few pin attempts but Delirious would not go down easy and kept kicking out. Then something snapped in Delirious. He started to viciously attack Lee and got the win thanks to a Bizarro Driver. After the win Delirious took of running straight to the back not even waiting to get his arm raised. Tiger Mask and TJ Perkins were in the next match and Hydra came down with TJ and stood in his corner. Could a friendship be blooming between them? TJ is still young and Tiger took advantage of that and showed why he is one of if not the best smaller man in the business. Tiger got the win without much effort.
It was time for the 3 Point match as former champs die Jager faced off with Naptown Dragons. Early on Jager was in control as Ares wore down Scotty Vortekz then tagged in Claudio as they hit their finisher. When Scotty kicked out Claudio quickly tagged out to the surprise of Ares. Ares went back on the offense but the Dragons fought back. Later in the match Ares was looking to tag out but Claudio had jumped off the apron to jaw jack with some fans. As the Dragons got Ares back in their corner Claudio got back up on apron trying to get a tag. Ares started to fight back and when he did Claudio looked back at the fans and jumped back down to say something to them as Ares got to their corner to make the tag. He yelled at Claudio. Claudio turned around and started to climb the stairs but the Dragons pulled Ares back to their corner before Claudio got to his corner. Then the Dragons hit their finisher and pin Ares to earn 3 points. As they celebrated Ares recovered in the ring. Claudio started to slowly walk to the back when Ares started screaming at him. Claudio stopped and turned around. He listened to Ares for a bit then, using two fingers, he pointed to his eyes and toward Ares, going back and forth in a "I've got my eyes on you" gesture before finally turning around and walking off. Ares stood there stunned for a bit then took of after his tag partner. The main event was another Grand Champion match as Chris Hero and Mike Quackenbush went at it. Hero was trying to keep pace with Tyler Black while Mike was trying to keep from being eliminated. It was a good, clean match as both men gave it their own. In the end Mike, thanks to a few Quackendrivers of different variations, finally was able to get the three count. The win put Mike in a tie with Chris at 4 points a piece in 2nd with Tyler in the lead with 6 points. Chris Hero and Tyler Black have one match left each and it is against them. How big will that match be?

Rumors and News
- NWA:GCW and CHIKARA are working on holding a PPV each in October. It is believed the name for the NWA:GCW PPV will be Halloween Havoc.
- Bobo Brazil has won the NWA Mid Atlantic Championship. This is his 3rd time with the title.
ROH
9/7 Show beings with hype for Sundays PPV, Glory By Honor. The main event will be a World Title match between the champion Kevin Steen and Jay Lethal who is getting one last chance at Steen for the title. There will also be tag action between Bullet Club members Warlord and Giant Bernard and Generation Next members Roderick Strong and Matt Sydal. Both team leaders, AJ Styles and Austin Ares, will be in their teams corners. These matches are in addition to the ones announced and it is believed some more will be added to the card.
First match was Adam Cole taking on Nigel McGuinness of S.C.U.M. Nigel has been struggling in single action but was able to upset the hot Cole. We then see Christopher Daniels in the back trying to get the Motor City Machine Guns added to the tag title match at the PPV. He is told they have a match with Bullet Club tonight and if they win they are in. Daniels leaves happy and confident they will win. Next Mike Bennett took on House of Truth member Homicide. Mike started on top but Homicide turned things around quick, thanks to some cheating via his fork, and Maria could not help as Homicide picked up the win.
We see Warlord and Bernard in the ring waiting on the MCMG. The Guns music is started not once, not twice but three times and yet they do not come out. Warlord tells ref to ring the bell and count. The BC wins via "count out" as the Guns never showed. Why would a team that wanted this opportunity so much not show? It is time for the main event as Donovan Dijak of the House of Truth faces Tommaso Ciampa. Ciampa dominated his taller opponent early on but Donovan fights back and after a couple of his finishers gets the win. Before the show ends we see officials looking for the MCMG in the back and they hear yelling from behind a door with a golf cart parked in front of it. Someone inside the room is trying to open the door but can not because of the cart. Officials are calling for keys for the cart and someone from the arena comes up and moves it. Out come the MCMG who are hot. Daniels says they were in there putting their game plan together when they were locked in. It must have been Team S.C.U.M. he says as they are scared of the Guns. When they are told they lost their match due to no showing and will not be in the match at the PPV and the Guns go crazy, throwing things around and yelling. Looks like Team S.C.U.M. got another one over on the MCMG.

9/3 Tracey Smothers vs. Mil Mascaras opens the show. The RIP have been on a winning streak since coming to GCW but they suffered a loss here as Mil came out on top. Next The Kangaroos faced the Samoan Swat Team. The boys from down under had the SST in trouble and SST could not get anything going. That frustrated them and they ended up getting DQ'd. Don Leo Jonathan and Greg Valentine were in the next match in a match up of former World Champions. Don Leo came out on top in this one. The main event was the US Tag champions Midnight Express defending their titles against Poffo Power. Lanny got in some offense early but the Express dominated most of the match and picked up the win.

9/6 Missing Link and Bob Roop started the action in the opening match and Roop dominated the crazy Link. The following match was Freddie Blassie taking on Owen Hart. Freddie must have been hungry because he constantly kept biting Owen. Eventually Owen ended up bleeding and soon after Freddie finished him off and got the win. Tag action next as Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff battled the Valiant Brothers. It was a good back and forth but eventually the foreigners wore down Johnny and got the win. Jimmy did not try to make a save and just walked off after. Main event was a real good one as Harley Race took on Killer Kowalski. Race controlled the action early but the Horsemen member fought back and picked up the win.
World Champion: Buddy Rogers Tag Team Champions: The Sheepherders
ECW
9/5 The show beings with Super Crazy standing in the ring with a mic. He says when he came here he was on the path to greatness but his career is now off track. He blames it on the feud with One Man Gang. To get back on track he needs to beat OMG and thus he wants him in a match...tonight. He calls Gang to come out and accept. After a bit OMG comes to the top of the ramp, points at Super Crazy and nods his head in a show of acceptance. Then it is time for the first match as rivals The Sheik and Rex Havoc squared off. The match did not last long as the action spilled to outside of the ring and the two men tore into each other. As followers of ECW know they rarely call for a disqualification these days so you know how out of control things got when the ref called for a double DQ. It took a bunch of officials, security and even some wrestlers to finally pull them apart. This feud is far from over as it is only heating up. Next One Man Gang took on Super Crazy. Gang was using his power advantage early but Crazy fought back and thanks to the Triple Moonsault picked up the win.
Sandman had a cakewalk in the next match as his opponent was the non dangerous Mr Y. It was a rather short match. Then it was main event time as the Tag Team Champions Voodoo Kill Mafia defended against the Wolves. Early on the Wolves dominated action as they isolated BG James in their corner and worked him over. It seemed they were on the path to an easy win but for some reason the Destroyer ran down and made a pin save. He slammed Davey a couple times then rolled out and left. The champs then started working over Davey Richards. They were in control until BG climbed the turnbuckle. He took to long to get up there and Davey recovered, ran up and hit a belly to belly on BG. Davey tagged in Eddie and it looked like Eddie was going to get the win when Al Snow ran in and broke up the pin. There was wild action as both teams were in the ring as well as Al Snow. In the end the VKM got the win. After the match the VKM, The Shard, Al Snow and the Destroyer who returned to the ring beat down the Wolves. Then as the five men stood over the laid out Wolves Al Snow asked for a mic. He said "for far too long ECW has been in the dark and now we are here to bring light into your lives. We are the ones running things. We are the Illuminati." The show ends with the five men making the pyramid hand gesture over their heads.
World Champion: Taz Tag Team Champions: VKM TV Title: Al Snow
CHIKARA
9/2 The Naptown Dragons are in the ring to start the show and they say they want to cash in their points and take the gold from the Bravado Brothers. Amber comes out and tells them that CHIKARA officials have said there will be no title matches in the next three weeks as the action will focus on the crowning of the first Grand Champion. However after that they can cash in if they wish. The Dragons are not happy but no there is nothing they can do about it. The Grand Championship tournament continues as the first match pitted Icarus vs. Johnny Gargano. Both men had been eliminated but there was still pride to fight for as neither man wanted to end up in last in their block. It is a good match with Johnny Gargano coming out on top. That is Gargano's first two points and his final match in the tournament. Icarus has no points but one match left. Next we see Jigsaw against Green Ant of BDS. Jigsaw was looking to make the BDS suffer a rare loss and he took it to his opponent from the start. Jigsaw picked up the win. A tag match was next as BDS members Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze faced off against Green Ant's former stable mates The Colony of Soldier Ant and Fire Ant. Lately Fire has been on a losing skid and the ladies of BDS have teased him non stop about it. Tonight he got a bit of payback as he pinned Haze for the win for his team. The main even was another Grand Champion match as Eddie Kingston and Ultramantis were looking for the win. Eddie needed the two points to take control of his block and Ultramantis needed them to stay alive. Black showed that desperation early but in the end Eddie picked up the W. Eddie now has 6 points and leads the block. He has no more matches and the only one that can catch him is Crossbones who with 4 points and a match left could tie Eddie. Meanwhile Ultramantis Black, Brodie Lee and Delirious have been officially eliminated from their block. With four matches left in block action only five of the original ten men are still alive. Eddie Kingston and Crossbones in Block A and Tyler Black, Chris Hero and Mike Quackenbush in Block B.

Wrestling Wrap-up Weekly - SPECIAL EDITION, Behind the Scenes I have had the idea for an Illuminati group for a long time. It was influenced of course by the nWo and all the cases of Illuminati in movies, TV and literature. I mean they are even in the Marvel universe. My idea was a group like the nWo, which as most know the New World Order is synonymous with the Illuminati, but more like the Illuminati in that they are in the shadows and pulling the strings. I can not remember when I originally thought of the idea but I know it was before 2007. That is because when Eric Young was going thru his "Don't Fire Eric" phase in TNA he used to do a thing where he pointed to his eyes with two fingers and to the crowd in an "I have my eyes on you" thing. I started to think what if his crazy was an act and he was really pulling the strings and influencing things behind the scenes. So I wanted TNA to start an Illuminati group with EY in charge. That idea picked up steam for me when EY turned heel a few years later and started World Elite. Sadly I was not in charge of booking and things did not go how I wanted. So when I decided to run a few LOW feds after years of running COTG futuristic feds I decided to revisit the Illuminati idea. I had thought of doing it in my COTG feds but never thought of a way to do it that I liked. So with real wrestlers in a "real world" environment I decided to see if I could write something I likes. Basically since I started running these current feds I had the idea of doing it but just had to wait to roll it out. Which leads me to posing this behind the scenes edition. See my original plan was to wait a bit longer in game time, maybe even a month or more, before the reveal. So why did I do it now? I have felt the need to get to the reveal earlier than planned ever since the brand split in the WWE. Why you may ask. Well I have noticed that with the new Raw logo occasionally when they switch from one screen to the other with the Raw logo buffering it there has been a symbol in the middle of the A in Raw that appears to me to be an eye and thus looks like an eye in a pyramid, one of the symbols of the Illuminati. Now I might just be seeing things and even if not it may not mean the WWE has any plans to do an Illuminati story line. However to be safe I decided to get mine going before they did do one themselves so no one thought I was copying them. Vince was not going to steal my thunder damn it.

3) Team S.C.U.M. vs. reDRagon for Tag Team Championship. A hard hitting match. Early on Jimmy goaded Fish in and when the ref was busy getting Fish out of the ring Jimmy hit Kyle with his spike. Later on the match while all four men brawled in the ring and the ref was not looking Jimmy hit Fish with the spike. Soon after Corino got the pin so S.C.U.M. retained their titles. After the match M.C.M.G. ran down and attacked Team S.C.U.M. They brought down chairs and were swinging like it was batting practice. Security and officials ran down and worked hard to pull the men apart.
4) Donovan Dijak vs. El Generico. Donovan was dominating the action and hit his finisher early in the match. It looked like he was on the way to a win when he made the mistake of getting in an argument with the ref. That gave time for Generico to recover and get on a roll offensively before getting the win over the larger man.
5) Bullet Club w/AJ Styles vs. Generation Next w/Austin Ares. The Bullet Club was in control of this match and Generation Next could hardly get anything going. Once some of the action spilled outside of the ring and chaos broke out as Styles and Ares got involved physically. While the ref was out of the ring trying to regain control Moose ran down to the ring. It was not clear why he was there until he got in the ring and attacked Warlord leaving him laid out. Ares told the ref to get back in the ring and he saw Strong covering Warlord and Generation Next got the win. Does this mean he and Kendrick have joined the Generation Next or did they just have a problem with Warlord and/or the Bullet Club. As Moose started to leave Brian Kendrick ran down and got in his face. It seems Brian might not have known what Moose was going to do. Moose tried to say something but Brian turned to go into the back. As he did that Moose attacked him from behind. Well looks like Moose and Brian are splitting up.
6) Kevin Steen vs. Jay Lethal for World Championship. The match was hard hitting as both men did not like each other. After awhile Kevin went too far attacking Jay outside of the ring and the ref called for the bell. As Steen celebrated Jay got in the ref's face and told him to not stop the match. Lethal knew he could not win the belt via DQ. After a bit the ref relented and restarted the match to the disdain of Steen. Jay got on a roll after that and hit the Lethal Injection but Steen kicked out. Kevin also kicked out of a Hail to the King. Then Steen turned things around and ended up with a clean win over Lethal. After the match all the members of S.C.U.M. came down to stand in the ring. They have the gold and all the power in ROH.
9/14 The show beings with ROH officials in the ring. They say at first the main event will be a #1 contender match between Adam Cole and Donovan Dijak. Then they call the MCMG to the ring. The head official says the Guns were told since they were not in any matches at Glory by Honor to not show up. Since they showed up and attacked S.C.U.M. ROH has no option but to suspend the MCMG for one month. The Guns are flipping out and arguing when we hear laughter over the speakers. Out walks Kazarian. He says he does not know what he has liked more. Screwing the Guns out of title shots by cutting their tires and locking them in the room last week or watching the Guns get mad at S.C.U.M. and blame them. He said he told Daniels he would make him pay for screwing with him. Well now he got revenge.
Austin Ares took on Matt Taven in the opening match. Ares was on the way to a victory but he missed a second 450 splash attempt. Soon as he crashed and burned Matt hit his Arm Trap Headlock Driver and got the win. Strong and Sydal ran down and helped Ares beat down Taven after. Forever Hooligans and Backseat Boyz were in tag action next. The Boyz were ridding the wave of success from the ppv early on but the Hooligans turned it around and got the win.
Next Warlord had a match with Moose as he tried to get payback for the attack at the ppv. Warlord was controlling the younger man when Moose got in a bit of offense and suddenly hit a spear for the win. Generation Next keeps getting the better of Bullet Club. Then it was time for the main event as Adam Cole and Donovan Dijak battled to be the next in line for a World title shot. Cole was determined and not even interference by Truth Martini would stop him. Cole won and is your new #1 contender for the ROH World Championship.

9/10 Cowboy Bob Orton took on Hacksaw Jim Duggan in the opening match and picked up a hard fought win. Next Blackjack Mulligan battled Mil Mascaras. Last week Mil beat Mulligans running mate Tracy Smothers. This week Blackjack got revenge and beat Mil. We had a return tag match next as the Glam Gods faced the Killer Bees. The vets got back for the earlier loss. Then it was the main event as Randy Savage defended his title against former champion Don Leo Jonathan. Don dominated the action early on and looked like he might roll to the World Championship again but Savage fought back. Eventually he hit the big elbow drop and picked up the victory.

9/13 Buddy Rose is standing in the middle of the ring as the show starts and said since Bob Roop wants to be a single wrestler he will try single action again. He called out anyone from the back. Bad news for him as it was Nick Bockwinkel who answered the call. Buddy got in some offense but not nearly enough as Nick got the W. Then Rose's former tag partner Bob Roop had a match with Bobby Shane. It looked early on like Roop would also lose but he hung in there and got the victory. Freddie Blassie and Bryan Danielson tangled next. Freddie kept on the winning streak he has been on lately as he finished off another member of the Hart Foundation. Then in the main event it was two tag teams who hate each other as American Starship fought The Empire. David Taylor started for his team and he wanted Coyote to start but it was Eagle who began for his team. David kept trying to get Coyote to get in so he could get his hands on him and that distraction cost him early. Eagle attacked him and was in control. However David fought back and eventually gave up trying to get Coyote in so he tagged out to Finlay. American Starship then got control and kept Finlay in their corner. Coyote hit a Heart Punch and David made the save but he kept going after Coyote causing the ref to force him out. As that was going on, Eagle held Finlay so Coyote could hit another Heart Punch and that was that. Starship rolled out of the ring before David could get his hands on any of them.

9/12 The show beings with Wolves in back demanding a title rematch after what happened last week. They are told that will not happen this week but they will be in the main event against The Shard and The Destroyer. Then we see the Illuminati in their locker room bragging about how they soon will control the wrestling world and no one can stop them. They planned everything so good and things will only get better from here on. Then it is time for action as Raven takes on Sandman. Raven simply dominated the action as he was uber aggressive and got the win. Then on the big screen we see Larry Sweeney. He tells Sandman what just happened to him is nothing compared to what is coming. But first next week him new client and first member of Sweet and Sour Inc. will destroy Val Venis. Then there is tag action as Briscoe Brothers destroyed PG-13.
Jon Moxley and Killer Khan were in the next match. Khan put up a good fight but Jon got the win in the end. Then it was main event time as the Wolves took on The Shard and The Destroyer of the Illuminati. The Wolves were looking for revenge but The Shard and The Destroyer turned out to be a good team and got the win.
World Championship: Taz Tag Team Champions: VKM TV Title: Al Snow
CHIKARA
9/9 Mike Quackenbush and Icarus in a Grand Champion match kicked off the action. Mike needed the win to stay alive in the tournament. Icarus ended up playing spoiler as he pulled the upset and eliminated Mike. Mike ended up with 4 points and Icarus earned his first points and finished with 2. Next week Chris Hero takes on Tyler Black and Hero needs the win to tie Black for first in their block. If not Black wins the block. Tursas and Jigsaw were next as Jigsaw was taking on another BDS member as he tried to stop the group. Tursas was just too big and powerful this night and he beat Jigsaw.
We got tag action next as The Colony went up against the team of Hydra and TJ Perkins. After being on a losing streak for awhile The Colony has been turning things around this week. They picked up another victory as once again Fire Ant got the pin. That is their second point and not only is The Colony on a roll so is Fire Ant. Then in the main event Crossbones faced Brodie Lee in a Grand Champion tournament match. Like earlier with Mike, Crossbones needed the victory to tie Eddie Kingston for top of their block. Early on it seemed he would get there but maybe it was the pressure or maybe it was Lee's size advantage but in the end Crossbones lost and was eliminated as he finished with 4 points while Brodie also finsihed with 4 points. So the winner of Block A and moving on to the finals for the first ever Grand Champion is Eddie Kingston with 6 points. Next week we could find out if he faces Tyler Black or if we have to find out how CHIKARA handles a tie between Tyler Black and Chris Hero. The other match is between two men who are eliminated from the tournament but has history and should end up tearing into each other, Ultramantis Black and the man he controlled with the Eye of Tyr, Delirious.

Rumors and News
- There is talk that a new tag team will be coming to ROH while another team will be leaving.
- Speaking of tag teams, the USWA Tag Team Championship has been vacated currently due to controversy in a title match between the former champions, LAX, and the challengers, Ring Ryders. No word as of yet how USWA will handle this situation.
- A rumor going around is CHIKARA will be bringing in a big name soon.
ROH
9/21 We see Kazarian in back as he gets ready for the opening match. He says now that he has dealt with the traitor Christopher Daniels he can focus on earning a shot at the World title. He also from now on people should just call him Kaz. The first match was Kaz going up against Silas Young. Kaz was on fire as he kept attacking Silas but was unable to put him away. Eventually he made a mistake and Silas started taking control and eventually got the win. Looks like Kaz's journey is off to a bumpy start. Next House of Truth member Donovan Dijak has a rematch with El Generico who upset him at Glory by Honor. It seemed Donovan was out to avenge that plus his loss in the #1 contender match last week. He used his size to beat down El Generico over and over. However just like in the earlier match the man in charge early could not get the job finished. El Generico was able to get some offense in and ended up pulling the upset again. After Donovan and Martini were visually upset.
Tag action was next on the card as reDRagon and Forever Hooligans has a match. The two teams had a feud over in Japan in NJPW earlier in the year and it seemed they were about to pick up where they left off. Both teams started cautiously but before long picked up the action. reDRagon earned the win in the end. Then it was time for the main event as Austin Ares, leader of Generation Next, took on Mike Bennett. Austin controlled the action but he kept going to the top turnbuckle and the last time was one too much as Mike ran up and superplexed him off. A short time later Mike got the upset win.

9/17 Hillbilly Jim took on former World Champion Greg Valentine to start the show. The Hammer showed why he was able to win that title as he took it too the larger man and finished him off. "Dr Death" Steve Williams and Hardy Family member Fritz von Goering were next. This was a brutal back and forth affair. Both men got in some good offense and would end up battered and bruised when the match was over. Bobby Heenan tired to lead his man to victory but it would not happen as Williams picked up the victory.
The Russian Bears and The Kangaroos had a tag match next. It was a good match that saw the Bears control the early action but saw the Kangaroos come out on top. The main event was a US Title match between the champion Bruiser Brody and Masked Superstar. Brody used his savage offense to wear down Superstar early on. However the Masked one fought back and seemed to have Brody on the ropes when Heenan distracted the ref. This allowed Bruiser to get his mind, what there is of it, cleared and he went on to pin the Superstar.

9/20 Bobby Shane and Bill Dundee tangled in the opening match. Shane controlled most of the match and got the win via Japanese Sleeper. Next the Hit Squad was in tag action against the Hamilton Wrecking Crew. A solid match that saw the Squad win via Hart's Sharp Shooter. Then Harley Race took on Frank Gotch. This match was all Race as he dominated the vet. Gotch is on a losing streak but before you count him out remember the last time he was on one he found a way to turn things around and ended up being World Champion. As far as the current World Champion, Buddy Rose of the Four Horsemen, he defended his title in the main event against Bob Roop. Bob has been focusing on single action the last few months and it seemed it paid off as he had earned a title match. Unfortunately tonight was not his night as the champ defeated him fairly easy 2 falls to none.
World Champion: Buddy Rogers Tag Team Champions: The Sheepherders
ECW
9/19 The show starts with Val Venis and D'lo Brown in the ring. Val has a match against Larry Sweeny's client. They do not seem worried as they are joking around and laughing. Out comes Larry who stands at the top of the ramp with a mic. He says that he gave Val and D'lo a chance at profiting from his greatness and they blew him off. Well now he has someone that sees the potential for greatness that Larry can provide. He says let us see if Val and D'lo feel like laughing after this match. At that him man walked up behind him. Did we say man? We meant mountain. With the camera on Larry's face we could not see his man's face. His man stood over 7 foot tall and had to weigh 400, maybe even 500 lbs. He wore a black singlet and matching mask. The camera then showed what was going on in the ring. Both men had shocked and worried looks on their face. Val turned to D'lo and motioned to the monster at the top of the ramp. D'lo just shrugged his shoulders. When Val turned to look at Larry and his client again D'lo simply slowly backed up and rolled out of the ring. Larry and his man walked to the ring and this giant man got in the ring by not climbing thru the ropes but stepping OVER them. It almost took as long for him to get to the ring as the actual match took. Larry's man, named Armageddon, destroyed Val. For a second Val looked to get in some offense but he made the mistake of trying to toss Armageddon into the turnbuckle. He was just not strong enough and Armageddon tossed Val in instead. Not long after he got the win. Who knew when Larry said he had someone ECW should be scared of that he was telling the truth.
After the match as Larry and Armageddon were leaving one of the backstage interviewers stopped Larry to ask some questions. He motioned for Armageddon to continue to the back. The interviewer asked where he found this monster. Larry said that was a secret. The interviewer than said there was something familiar about Armageddon and what was up with the letters "ATG" on his tights. Larry looked confused then the interviewer pointed toward Armageddon and sure enough there they were on the side of his singlet. Larry mumbled and seemed confused but then he said "his former name was Armageddon the Great but I convinced him to shorten it to just Armageddon. Now this interview is over" and with that he ran to catch up with his client. Larry seemed to be berating the larger man about something and then the two men left.
Super Crazy and Stevie Richards has a match next. It was back and forth action and every time Crazy got on a roll Amish Roadkill would hop on the apron and wave to Crazy like they were old friends. This distracted Crazy and Stevie would regain control. It was crazy how often he let himself get distracted. In the end Stevie picked up the win. After he and Roadkill celebrated. They jumped up and down hugging each other then started dancing. Well at least something that they must have thought was dancing. Demolition and Mongols were in a tag match next. All four men just fought with little actual wrestling. Demolition got the win and after both teams just brawled until security was finally able to separate them. It the main event Taz put his title on the line against The Patriot. Taz had a little bit of trouble early on but not enough to really worry him as he got the win.

9/16 Ultramantis Black and Delirious in a Grand Champion match opens the show. Both men have been eliminated from the tournament but due to their history this match was much anticipated. Both men went at it with a desire to beat their former stablemate. In the end Ultramantis got the win. After he tried to shake hands with Delirious but Delirious just runs off. Jim Powers and Paul London were in the next match. Jim used his strength advantage to control things early but Paul used his speed and agility to end up with the W. Incoherence took on Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze in the next match. The ladies end up on top. Then it was the main event as the leader of BDS, Tyler Black, took on Chris Hero in the last match of the block action of the Grand Championship tournament. Hero, who was brought in by Ultramantis Black to defeat Tyler Black and BDS, needed the win to finish in a tie with Black for first place in their block. Tyler Black knew all that and was out to prove his superiority. He got an impressive win and thus earned his place in the finals to crown the first ever CHIKARA Grand Champion. After the match he got on the mic and tells Ultramantis Black that sadly it seems his "hero" came up short. Black says sorry, better luck next time.
Before the show ends we get announcement that next weeks main event will see Young Lions Cup champion Prince Puma teaming with Zach Sabre Jr against the team of Tiger Mask and Jushin Liger. That should be amazing.
Final results from Grand Championship tournament Block action
Block A:
Eddie Kingston - 6 Ultramantis Black - 4 Crossbones - 4 Brodie Lee - 4 Delirious - 2

- USWA crowned their tag team champions in a Falls Count Anywhere Street Fight match between LAX and Ring Ryders. It was a brutal match that saw the action spill all around the arena. In the end the Ring Ryders came out on top and earned their first tag titles.
- A rumor has started circulating that Georgia Championship Wrestling may be leaving the NWA at the end of the year. The NWA has seen some departures this year as we reported awhile back. Losing Georgia Championship Wrestling would be a major blow to them.
ROH
9/28 AJ Styles took on Moose in the first match. Moose is a big man and has a bright future but his early success was not enough to help him against Styles as the leader of the American BC got the impressive win. Next Matt Hardy and Samoa Joe faced off. Joe controlled most of the early action. Then Matt was able to toss him out of the ring and while he distracted the ref Rhino gave Joe a Gore. That was not enough to stop Joe as he fought back and finished Matt via Rear Naked Choke.
The Bullet Club and Backseat Boyz were in tag action in the following match. The Boyz, who recently picked up wins over War Machine, continued their hot streak as once again they beat a bigger team in what most would call an upset. The Club were as shocked as the fans after. Then it was time for the main event with World Champion Kevin Steen defending his title against Adam Cole. This was a great match with both guys coming close to getting the win on multiple chances but in the end Steen got the win and held onto his title. Cole showed he has a great future in wrestling and will hold the World title some time down the road.

9/24 The show begins with Lanny Poffo in back trying to talk to his brother Randy Savage. Lanny keeps talking about how management is holding him and their dad back. However the conversation keeps getting interrupted as Savage's phone keeps ringing. Finally Randy says he has to go and walks off talking to the 5th person to call as Lanny is left standing there with a confounded look on his face. Then it is time for the opening match as the Glam Gods take on Poffo Power. Lanny started the match for his team and he seemed annoyed and was out to take his frustrations out on his opponents. He used some slightly dirty tactics and was very aggressive. However in the end it was the Glam Gods who came out on top. Lanny was very upset after as his dad, Angelo, tries to calm him down. In the next match Ted Dibiase took on Mil Mascaras. Ted had not been seen in a couple months. He had an unshaven look and was wearing a black glove on his hand. Ted started strong but Mil was able to turn things around and pick up the win. After the match Ted attacked Mil and left him laid out.
Steve Williams and Tracy Smothers were up next. Steve got on the offense early and kept on Tracy not letting him catch his breath. Before long Dr Death had the win. After the match he got on the mic and cut a promo that ended with him challenging Blackjack Mulligan to a match at next months PPV, Halloween Havoc. Will the big cowboy accept? The main event was a title match as the Road Warriors defended against The Kangaroos. It looked like the champs title run might come to an end early as The Kangaroos took it to Animal and came close to pinning him a couple times. Once the action spilled to outside of the ring Animal was able to regain control. Soon after he tagged out to Hawk and Hawk rolled over Al of the Kangaroos before finally pinning him. The Road Warriors stood tall after the match and looked like an unbeatable force.

9/27 Missing Link and Buddy Rose squared off in the first match. Every time Link got some offense going Rose was able to counter it and eventually got the win. Next Bryan Danielson took on Bobby Shane. A good back and forth but in the end Shane got the win. After the match we see Bob Roop walk up to Buddy Rose. Roop says Buddy was right they should give their tag team a go. Buddy just laughs and says Roop was all about his single career until he lost in his title match against Buddy and now he wants to go back to tag action. Well Buddy says now his single career is taking off so that is where his focus is...for now.
The Empire and the Valiant Brothers were in tag action in the next match. A good match that saw the Brothers pick up an upset win. Johnny was on the verge of getting the pin when Jimmy made the blind tag and got the pin himself. Johnny did not seem happy with that but they did get the W. In the main event Harley Race took on Killer Kowalski. A hard hitting match that saw Kowalski win via his clawhold. The action did not stop after the bell as both men fought as the show ended.

9/26 The show starts and we see D'lo Brown and Val Venis standing in the ring. Val keeps trying to get out and D'lo keeps pulling him back to the center of the ring. They are having some discussion it seems and then Larry Sweeny's music starts and out he comes leading Armageddon to the ring. This week Armageddon is wearing a plain black singlet with no lettering. The match was over in less than a minute. D'lo grabbed Armageddon's arm and tried to shoot him into the ropes. Needless to say he was unsuccessful. Armageddon then put Brown into a bear hug for a bit, let him fall to the mat and hit a big splash for the win. Then Larry gets on the mic. He says he has destroyed the first two men to turn him down. Now it is time to destroy the Sandman. He tells the Sandman that the Armageddon is coming for him. The next match sees members of Raven's Flock, Briscoe Brothers, taking on the Wolves. The Wolves had Jay in trouble but could not put him away. Mark made a pin save and soon after Jay tagged Mark in. Mark got Eddie in trouble and the Brothers finished off Eddie with a Doomsday Device.
The Sheik and Rex Havoc continued their feud next. Rex took it too the vet from the opening bell and did not give up. Eventually he was able to put Sheik away and get the win. After the match someone came running down from the back and entered the ring. He had a stare down with Rex for a bit then both men started putting their boots to The Sheik. After feeling they had did their damage the two men stood tall with Dark Menace between them. It seems Dark Menace has a new wrestler under his management. It was then main event time, a TV Title match. Al Snow defended his title vs former World Champion RVD. RVD was determined to have gold around his waist one way or the other. He had Snow back on his heels. The first time he was on the verge of winning The Destroyer came down but RVD fought him off and laid him out. The second time, after hitting a split leg moonsault, it was The Shard who got involved to make the save. Once again RVD laid him out. Then he hit his finisher and got the three count. Your new TV champion, RVD. How will the Illuminati respond to the lose of one of their titles.

9/23 We see Naptown Dragons in back talking to officials about their title match. They want to cash in their points and get the Campeonatos de Parejas. Those belts belong to them. They are told not this week but they will be able to get their title shot next week in the main event. The Dragons say that is fine, gives the Bravado Brothers one more week to sweat what is going to happen to them. To the ring for action. Chuck Taylor and Worker Ant tangled in what ended up a one sided affair. Taylor dominated the action and while he could not get the pin after hitting the Omega Driver he did after hitting it a second time. The second match saw Brodie Lee go up against Pinkie Sanchez. Pinkie jumped Lee before the belt and tried using his speed advantage to get the better of the bigger opponent but was unable to take the large man down.
We get an announcement that next month CHIKARA will hold a PPV. It will be called Cibernetico. Along with the final match in the Grand Championship tournament to crown the first Grand Champion there will be a team match between a team representing ROH and the BDS. More info will come in next few weeks. Crossbones and Archibald Peck battle next. Crossbones was too much for Peck and he got the win. The main event saw Young Lions Cup champion Prince Puma and Zach Sabre Jr team up against Tiger Mask and Jushin Liger. Sabre Jr and Tiger Mask opened the match. Mask took it too his opponent from the opening bell and pulled off a shocking quick win. As the winners celebrated Zach just sat in the middle of the ring in total disbelief.

10/5 Show starts with announcement that Austin Ares, upset at losing to Mike Bennett a couple weeks ago in the main event wants a rematch. It has been granted and will be in the main event tonight. Then to the ring for the opening match. Homicide faced off against Nigel McGuinness. This was a hard hitting match with brutal strikes and little actual wrestling. It went back and forth but in the end Homicide got the win. Next reDRagon took on Generation Next. In the beginning reDRagon was in control but thanks to some interference from Moose Generation Next was able to pick up the victory.
House of Truth main man Donovan Dijak took on Kaz next. Kaz went right at the larger man from the opening bell but his advantage was short lived and not long after Donovan got the win. Then it was the main event as Austin Ares took on Mike Bennett. A good back and forth affair that saw Maria distracting the ref early on to give her man the advantage but the last time she had the ref distracted Moose ran in and speared Mike allowing Ares to come back and gain the win and a bit of revenge. It looks like recruiting Moose to Generation Next is paying off so far.

10/1 The show starts with a tag match between King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd and the team of Poffo Power. Early on thanks to some shady tactics by Lanny, he and his dad had Big John in trouble. However Lanny got a bit over confident and John was able to tag out to Bundy. King Kong Bundy came in and took it to Lanny and before long he and Studd hit their finisher and got the win. Next Tommy Rich and Jimmy Snuka has a match. Jimmy was controlling things then action spilled out of the ring. Tommy's running mate Tracy Smothers came down and with Tommy keeping the attention of the ref Tracy attacked Snuka. Jimmy then grabbed a chair. When he went to hit Tracy with it Tracy ducked and Jimmy accidentally hit Tommy causing the ref to call for the DQ.
We go back stage and see an angry Lanny Poffo looking for his brother Macho Man Randy Savage. When Lanny finds him he gets in Randy's face and starts to shove him. Lanny is accusing his brother of turning his back on family and being only concerned about himself. Their father Angelo got between them and pushed Lanny back telling him to calm down. As Angelo tries to get Lanny to leave Lanny tells Randy this is not over yet. Wonder what he means by that. Next Cowboy Bob Orton took on Don Leo Jonathan. This was a fight between two big men but in the end Orton got the win. Then it was the main event as Midnight Express defended their US Tag Titles against the Samoan Swat Team. The SST did not put up much of a fight as the Express dominated the action and got an easy win. After the match their manager Jim Cornette got on the mic and talked about how his team has been dominating everyone and want to show the world they are the greatest tag team in the world. So they are challenging the Road Warriors to a match at the Halloween Havoc PPV. The Midnight Express will put their belts on the line in a title vs. title match. He says he wonders if the Road Warriors have the grapefruits to do the same.

10/4 Red Bastien, who had not been seen in awhile, opened the action in a match against Bobby Shane. Both men came close to getting the win but in the end it was Bastien to do so. Next was tag action as Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff battled the Love Brothers. The Brothers tried to put up a fight but they were over matched in this one.
Owen Hart went up against Bill Dundee in the next match and ended a single losing streak by pinning Dundee. In the main event The Sheepherders put their tag belts on the line against the team they beat for the titles, American Starship. This match saw some wild action in the ring as both teams came close to getting the three count. It saw even wilder action outside of it. Luke was about to be pinned but Butch made the save. Eagle and Butch fought in the ring with the ref trying to get them to leave. Meanwhile Luke and Coyote took their fight to outside of the ring. While that was happening The Empire ran down and went after Coyote. In the process they pushed Luke out of the way eventually leading to all three teams brawling. This lead to Eagle being able to hit his finisher on Luke in the ring and get the pin. Your new Tag Team Champions, the American Starship. Needless to say The Sheepherders were upset but were they more made at American Starship who beat them for the belts or The Empire for interfering which probably lead to The Sheepherders losing their titles?

10/3 The show starts with all members of the Illuminati in the back. Frank, the new interviewer, is trying to get a word with the leader. Well he is trying to figure out who the leader is first. After asking The Shard if he is in charge and just getting stares, well assuming he was staring behind that mask, he turned his attention to Al Snow. Frank ask Al if he is the leader and Al says that yes, he is the head man and asks what Frank wants. Frank says he and the fans want to know what is next for the Illuminati. Al Snow says the fans should feel privileged that the Illuminati revealed themselves so the fans know of the existence. However their plans will remain a secret and the fans will find out once those plans have been executed. Maybe. When Frank tires to ask what he means by that The Destroyer comes up and says the interview is over and escorts Frank out. Next we see action from last week when a mysterious man ran down and helped Rex Havoc beat down The Sheik. We find out his name is Michael Kai Rayne and he has a match next.
Opening match is Michael Kai Rayne taking on Mr Y. In a bit of a surprise Mr Y kicks out of a couple pin attempts but then Kai Rayne snaps and destroys him to pick up a win in his first match in ECW. Next Stevie Richards takes on Rich Swann. It seemed early on like Stevie might get the win but Rich fought back and got the pin. After the match Stevie sat in the middle of the ring with a down look on his face. Amish Roadkill came down, got in the ring and talked to Stevie. He started doing a silly dance and Stevie started to smile and then laugh. He got up and danced with Roadkill.
Tag action followed as Demolition took on PG-13. This was a short match as the bigger men simply destroyed their competition. Then it was the main event as Jon Moxley went up against One Man Gang. It was a good match with Jon in control early but then OMG used his size advantage to turn things around and eventually get the win. This did not sit well with Moxley as after the match he started brawling with One Man Gang.

CHIKARA
9/30 We get a couple promos to start the show. First we see Chris Hero talking about he came to CHIKARA for two things. One was to help Ultramantis Black defeat BDS and the other was to win the first Grand Championship. However he found a roadblock to both of those things. He then looked deep into the camera and said "Mike Quackenbush". He says Mike was not going to win their block and should have backed out of the match so Chris could get the points and some rest. But Mike's ego got the better of him and it not only did damage to CHIKARA it hurts Chris's mission. Tonight he was granted a rematch with Mike and Chris said he would beat Mike. Next we see Zach Sabre Jr said he took a quick pin last week in the tag match he was in and thinks Tiger got lucky. So he asked Tiger for a single match tonight and that match is first.
Tiger Mask took on Zach Sabre Jr in a semi rematch from last weeks main event. This was a solid match with Zach not only doing better than last week but he picked up with win over Tiger Mask. We then see Ultramantis Black in the back talking to Amber. Amber says Black asked for this interview because he said he had some news so what is it. Ultramantis Black said the BDS has been like a plague on CHIKARA and he knows it is his fault. So he asked management to captain the CHIKARA team at the Torneo Cibernetico PPV next month. They granted him his request. He has already filled 2 of the remaining 7 spots with his teammates in The Order of the Neo-Solar Temple, Hallowicked and Frightmare. As he says that he starts motioning to someone off camera to walk over. He says he is about to fill another spot. In walks Brodie Lee. Black asks Brodie Lee to join his team but Lee just scoffed and Black and said no thanks this is not his fight. After he walks off Amber asks Ultramantis for one last question. She brings up how Tyler Black said he defeated Ultramantis's "hero" which of course means Chris Hero. Amber asks what Ultramantis will do now and does he have a plan. He ponders this for a bit than says it is quite a problem as BDS is a major puzzle to solve but he thinks the best way to solve a puzzle is with an enigma and that is just what he is planning on doing. When Amber tries to ask what he means he just walks off.
The next match is Sara Del Rey vs. Jigsaw. A good match that saw Sara come out on top. After the match Daizee Haze got in the ring and helped Sara beat Jigsaw down. Chris Hero got his rematch with Mike Quackenbush in the following match. It was an even match for first couple minutes but than Chris started getting the better of Mike. He hit his Rolling Elbow a few times but could not get the 3 count. Frustration started showing on Chris's face. He then asked the ref to check if Mike can go on. As the ref did that Chris seemed to put something from his wrestling shorts into his elbow pad. After that he hit his finisher again and this time he got the win. After the match he looked down at Mike with disdain and then at the crowd as some of them boo'd him.
Then it was main event time as Bravado Brothers had to defend their titles against the Naptown Dragons as the Dragons finally got to cash in their points. The Dragons showed they were tired of waiting as they took it to the champs from the opening bell and got a quick pin to go up 1-0. They continued to take it to the Bravado's in the second fall but the Brothers fought back and got the win to even the match as a fall a piece and stay alive. The third and deciding fall was a real classic as both teams fought back and forth for control. In the end the Bravado Brothers were able to get the pin and hold onto their titles. As they celebrated with the fans ring side, the Naptown Dragons sat in the ring shocked that once again they came up short. Not only in winning the belts but in getting revenge against their most hated enemies.

The main event was a title match as Team S.C.U.M. defended against Backseat Boyz who have been on a massive role over last few months. 10/8 Fritz von Goering of the Heenan Family faced off against Greg Valentine in the first match. Greg was in control early but Fritz flipped the script and won via bear hug. After the match Brutus Beefcake ran in and attacked his former tag team partner Valentine. Then the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering are being interviewed. They say they are the best, no one can beat them and they gladly accept the challenge from the Midnight Express for a title vs title match at Halloween Havoc. That should be an amazing match. Speaking of tag action the next match saw the Russian Bears defeat the SST.
Ted Dibiase and Brutus Beefcake had a match next. Ted started strong but he made a mistake and Beefcake took advantage of it and ended up winning the match. After getting his arm raised Greg Valentine ran down with a chair and went after Beefcake but Brutus took off and ran away. In the main event two tag teams who have had issues with each other over last month or so tangled as Killer Bees and Glam Gods battled. It was the Gods who came out on top of this one.

Next was a tag match as the Hit Squad faced Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff. Bret Hart and Magnum TA showed good team work and they came out on top.
Killer Kowalski of the Four Horsemen took on Red Bastien. Early on Killer controlled the action but Red fought back and once he was on the offense he did not let up till he got the upset win. The main event was The Sheepherders looking to get back at The Empire for, as The Sheepherders saw it, costing them the tag titles. It was a good brutal match that saw The Sheepherders come out with the win.

10/10 The show begins with announcement that the main event will be a rematch from one last week as Jon Moxley takes on One Man Gang. Then the Sandman comes down to the ring and says he is not hiding from Sweet N' Sour Inc. and Armageddon. He calls them down to the ring. After a bit Larry Sweeney's music hit and they make their way to the ring. Armageddon gets in the ring and right away Sandman goes at him hitting him with his Singapore cane. However after a few wacks Armageddon took the cane away from the Sandman and snapped it in half with his hands and tossed it aside. Sandman just looked on in shock at what he saw. Then Armageddon went on the offense and simply destroyed the Sandman finishing with a choke slam and a huge splash. As Larry and Armageddon celebrated and left the medical staff checked on Sandman.
The first match was the debut of Amish Roadkill as he faced Super Crazy. Crazy took it to the big man early on but Amish Roadkill used his size advantage to turn things around and get the win. After the match Stevie Richards got in the ring and he and Roadkill celebrated like Roadkill had just won a title. In the following match Sabu faced Michael Kai Rayne. It was a good back and forth match but Sabu started getting the advantage. Michael's manager Dark Menace tried using his cane to attack Sabu but the Sheik ran down and stopped him. Then Rex Havoc ran down and started brawling with Sheik. As they fought outside of the ring Sabu pinned Kai Rayne inside of it. It seems the feud between Sheik and Dark Menace is far from over.
Tag Team Championship was on the line next as the champs, Voodoo Kill Mafia, took on Briscoe Brothers. VKM was hitting it on all cylinders as the Brothers could not get any momentum going and before long VKM had the victory. Then it was main event time as Jon Moxley took on One Man Gang in a rematch from last weeks main event. This was a long brutal match. Both men went back and forth being in charge. One Man Gang kicked out of a pin attempt after a Double Arm DDT by Jon which almost never happens. After a few more minutes of fighting Jon his a 2nd Double Arm DDT and this time OMG could not kick out and Jon had the win. Both men were obviously spent after the match as the show ended.

10/7 We see the Bravado Brothers walking in back in a happy mood when an official walks up and informs them they are in the main event in a title match. Lance says they already beat Naptown Dragons last week so the official must have an old match sheet. The official says no it is not against the Dragons but another team that had already earned their third point a couple months back, The Throwbacks. As the official walks off the Bravado Brothers throw a fit. In the ring for the opening match as The Colony took on Incoherence. A solid tag match that saw Incoherence come out on top. Next Amber interviews Tyler Black. First she asks Tyler who will captain the BDS team at the upcoming PPV, officially named Cibernetico: War Begins, since he will be in the final of the Grand Championship. Tyler says that Pinkie Sanchez will captain the team and all of the other BDS members; CLaudio Castagnoli, Ares, Tursas, Sara Del Rey, Daizee Haze, Green Ant and Delirious will make up the team. They, like he, will be victorious and BDS's domination will be proven. He is than asked about what Ultramantis Black said last week and Tyler says it is just mind games but if UB does have a plan it will fail just like his plan on bringing Chris Hero to do his dirty work failed. Then it is back to the ring as Jushin Liger faces Icarus. A solid match that sees Icarus, after a few Pedigrees, hit the Blu-Ray for the win. After the match Icarus showed Liger respect and shook his hand.
Amber interviews Ultramantis Black, who had a slightly different look this week as he was not wearing any black gear except his mask, about who else is on his team. UB says Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw have graciously accepted his invitation to join his team. He also has added a wrestler not currently on the roster but he will introduce them next week. That leaves two openings and he is carefully weighing his options to make sure he has the best possible talent on his team to insure victory against BDS. Back to the ring as Brodie Lee takes on Tursas in a war of large powerful men. In the end Tursas gains the pinfall victory. Afterwards Pinkie Sanchez runs down and helps with a post match beat down. Then it was time for main event as Bravado Brothers took on The Throwbacks. The first fall saw The Throwbacks grab a quick pin to be in control while putting the Brothers on the edge of losing their titles. The second fall was a bit of back and forth before the Bravado's were able to even up the falls count at one a piece. The Throwbacks then took it hard and fast to the champions. It looked like they were about to pin Lancelot when Harlem made a desperation pin save. Then the Bravados got on a roll and got the win to defend their titles 2 falls to 1.

10/15 The show kicks off with a match between Masked Superstar and Don Leo Jonathan. Superstar put up a good fight but in the end Don Leo was too much for him. We then have Lanny and Angelo Poffo in the ring. Lanny calls his brother Randy Savage out. Randy comes to the ring and at first gets in Lanny's face but Angelo gets between his sons and gets them to call down. Savage starts to leave but his dad stops him and talks him to going back to the middle of the ring to hear Lanny out. Savage agrees and Angelo pats him on his back and stands behind him as Lanny starts to talk to Randy. Lanny says Randy has done nothing to help him so he went above his head. So at Halloween Havoc the main event will be Savage vs. Poffo for the World Championship. Randy says he will not fight Lanny at Halloween Havoc or anywhere else for that matter. Lanny says he is right, he will not be fighting Lanny. At that Angelo hit Savage in the back of his head with a stiff forearm knocking him down. Angelo takes the mic from Lanny. He says Randy is a spoiled brat that has been living in the clouds. But at Halloween Havoc Randy will come crashing back to Earth when he takes the World title from Randy. At that the Poffo's leave while Randy lays on the mat watching them with a confused look on his face.
Ted Dibiase and Jimmy Snuka were next. Ted seemed on the verge of winning but Jimmy fought back and got the victory. Tag action followed as The Kangaroos took on Tommy Rich and Tracy Smothers. The members of RIP ended up on top. Then it was the main event with Steve "Dr Death" Williams taking on Hacksaw Jim Duggan. This was a match up of a couple big rough men. The match started with a hand shake then the match saw Dr Death dominate the match to get the win.
Here is the Halloween Havoc card as of now.
Randy Savage vs. Angelo Poffo (World Title) Road Warriors vs. Midnight Express (Title vs Title) Steve Williams vs. Blackjack Mulligan (falls count anywhere) Bruiser Brody vs. TBA (US Title)

10/18 We saw a new comer to AWA in the opening match as Bob Roop took on Marty Jannetty. Marty has been making a name for himself in the indies both as a single wrestler and a tag wrestler. This was a good back and forth match that saw Marty win his debut match. Next the Hamilton Wrecking Crew took on the Valiant Brothers. The Crew did not have much trouble in this match and got the win.
Buddy Rose and Bryan Danielson squared off next. Some early back and forth but Buddy ended up on top and got the pin. Then it was main event time as World Champion Buddy Rogers took on Red Bastien. The first fall was all Buddy as Red got in zero offense and Buddy went up 1-0. The second fall started the same way but Red got some offense in finally. It was not enough though as Buddy slapped on the Figure Four and Red was forced to tap giving Rogers the victory 2 falls to none.

10/17 Raven was sitting in the corner of the ring with the Briscoe Brothers standing by him as the show started. His opponent, Mr Y, came down and got in the ring. The bell ring and the Brothers left the ring but Raven just sat there. Mr Y did not seem to know what to do for a bit but then he started kicking Raven. He went to lift Raven to his feet and that is when Raven started to fight back. The match did not last long after that as Raven finished Mr Y off with Raven Effect DDT. The Brothers got back in the ring. All three men surrounded Mr Y and looked like they would attack him but then Raven just left and the Briscoes followed him. Next the Wolves faced PG-13. The Wolves started hot but PG-13 would not go down easy and they ended up pulling off the upset.
The Patriot and Necro Butcher were in the next match. It was a hard hitting match that saw a good bit of action out of the ring. That was the down fall for The Patriot as he could not get back in the ring before the ten count and he ended up losing via count out. RVD and Al Snow were in the main event with the TV Title on the line. Al was trying to win the title back and bring in back to the Illuminati. The leader of the Illuminati was in trouble early as RVD showed off his speed and agility. Snow fought back and had RVD in trouble for awhile till RVD regained control. It looked like RVD was going to finish Snow off when he hit the split leg moonsault but The Shard ran down and distracted the ref while The Destroyer ran in and attacked RVD. This gave Snow control again but like before it did not last. When it looked like RVD was going to win again The Destroyer distracted the ref while The Shard attacked RVD. That seemed to make the difference as this time Al Snow gained control and refused to give it up. In the end Snow pinned RVD to become the two time TV Title champion. How long before the Illuminati have all the gold in ECW?

10/14 The show begins with Amber talking to Ultramantis Black in the back. He says it is time to introduce the next member of his team. With that a female dressed like a Power Ranger sans the mask walks in. He introduces her as Leva Bates. She starts to talk when Brodie Lee walks up. He gets in Ultramantis's face and says he is on the team. When Ultramantis starts to say he has his eye on a couple guys to fill the last 2 spots Brodie grabs him by the throat and lifts him up. Brodie says he is not asking, he is simply stating a fact. He IS on the team. The BDS messed up last week by attacking him and pissing him off. So now he will destroy them. He releases Ultramantis and asks him if he understands. Since Ultramantis was coughing and could not talk he just nodded his head. Brodie said good and simply left.
Zach Sabre Jr and Johnny Gargano were in the opening match. A decent match that saw Zach get the win. The next match was Crossbones against Green Ant. Early on Green was getting beat down but then he used his quickness to gain an advantage. He ended up with the W. We had a tag match next as Incoherence battled Hydra and TJ Perkins. Maybe Incoherence was looking ahead to the PPV but they should have been focused more on their opponents as they were upset in this one. And it was Hydra that got the pin. Maybe there are some real muscles behind those funky looking ones. The main event was a Young Lions Cup title match as the champ Prince Puma defended against Paul London. Paul showed some good offense and even kicked out after getting hit with the 630 but he did not have enough to beat Puma in the end as the Prince held onto his title.
