I'm asking this question so I can understand the rules behind this if I ever want to incorporate them into one of my games. From my understanding (which amounts to Googling, and reading articles on the series) there's 3 teams made up of the entire AWA roster, and all matches had a gimmick. Was there a coherent points system throughout the whole thing? 1 to 2 points per victory? Were matches randomly picked?
