After the uproar that that WWE was not happy with The Rock when he went off script to talk to those cosplayers in the front row should wrestlers be allowed to go off script? Now I am not saying everytime as their is a time and place for everything
I say Yes but not that often

Yes. But they should also be prepared to accept any repercussion that arises from going off script and saying something stupid (i.e. racist, defamatory, derogatory, etc.).

of course...most promos would improve if that happened. Of course there should be consequences if you go a bit too stupid.

Paul Heyman once said that wrestlers should be allowed to say what they want otherwise they'll never grow as performers. They'll just be sheep saying "Baa Baa Baa". In the old days, all promos were improvised. If they went back to that, we'd see a lot less people getting tongue-tied like Goldberg did this past Monday on Raw.

On the recent "Live" Talk is Jericho Podcast with his Best Friend Kevin Owens (It was recorded during Survivor Series weekend), both he and Jericho said they improvise most of their lines as they are only given an outline for each of their segments. I'd love to see more talents given this freedom.
