What a great start to your 8MW fed, Crimson. The banners are outstanding and I am loving the TVee Guide one, a nice throwback to the 80's for sure. I can't wait to see what you have planned for this amazing set.

Thank you cruefan68 Pariah The B-Mack Crossbones graymar rjretro for checking out this early initial posting for my upcoming 80's MANIA WRESTLING fed and you may know I like to use imagery with my postings and those above are just samples of what is to come. I will only use the official tabletop cards from the first set and future sets from the 8MW offerings from Filsinger Games. My plan is to have small samplings that'll be larger than life in my view with the first 8 cards till another set is released, so I'm just waiting on my cards to come in this week... |

The multiple tv screens are on and Rex Spectrum is joined by Cobalt Commander who with anger in his voice demands a title shot, then Mr.Codger walks out and tells him that he'll have to win against the top contender in a few weeks. Cobalt Commander not all that happy exits stage right...‹The World Title Championship Match›Lazer vs. Dark InvaderNote: The crowd first lay in the jeers at the Dark Invader (3 tokens) and then the cheers shower down on Lazer who had to battle in this match. The Dark Invader should've won this matcb, but it's a MILITARY PRESS SLAM that finishes him off and your winner of this match and The World Title is LAZER (7 tokens)... Lazer the first ever 8MW World Title holder grabs the mic and he gets loud pops from the crowd, he then talks about how he looks forward to all comers to face and he throws out a challenge toward The Piranha. Lazer talks about how he'll beat The Piranha and then he exits the ring to loud cheers from the fans and the show ends... (#2)
"Honest" Al is standing on a stand of bricks and he is joined by Arizona Chance who first talks about how he just got back from a temple in the amazon, then he straight out challenges Lazer to put his title on the line and that's when Lazer walks out and accepts the challenge...Rad Racer vs. Johnny KobraNote: We first see a Kung Fu display by Johnny Kobra (1 token) and then on his radical BMX bike is Rad Racer (1 token) rides out and flips off a ramp and hits the landing. These two battled it out and when Johnny Kobra takes the fight to the floor he delivers a PILEDRIVER that causes the Rad Racer to miss the ten count and he is counted out and your winner of this bout is JOHNNY KOBRA... After the match we rejoin "Honest" Al who talks about how at the next 80's MANIA WRESTLING (#3) we'll see two matches with Arizona Chance looking on to see how The Piranha versus Lazer goes, plus Chance has interest in the second match pitting Cobalt Commander versus Dark Invader with the winner getting the next title shot. This broadcast of 900 Seconds concludes with "Honest" Al saying goodbye... |

It was cool to see Lazer survive a tremendous assault by Dark Invader to become the first champion and I like how challengers are already being lined up. Johnny Kobra winning is cool in my book. He might be my favorite card of the first set. Looking forward to more action.

He might be my favorite card of the first set. Looking forward to more action. I like all the cards and my favorite is the Rad Racer, but I was fine with Johnny Kobra winning that match. Right now my two shows are 30 minutes for 80's MANIA WRESTLING and 15 minutes (900 seconds = 15 minutes) for 900 Seconds which is my take on 120 Minutes on MTV. I thought for sure Lazer was going to lose, but he fought back and the line up is set in whose next for a title shot. Stay tune, more is coming from 1980 Something... |
