Clash of the Classics Episode #01
Welcome to "Clash of the Classics", an 80's Mania Wrestling federation! This will not follow any specific timeline, but will allow me to play some cards with the new Filsinger Games 8-pack. This first episode will feature the first-round of the 80's Mania Wrestling Championship Tournament! Who will advance?
Lazer vs. The Piranha
The opening match-up would be the first ever rolled for CotC, and it would showcase two of the top stars in the federation. The Piranha held his own, but it was only a matter of time before Lazer would take over. He locked in the LAZERLOCK tight, and The Piranha tapped out!
Lazer is definitely one of the favourites in this tournament, and it will be difficult for anyone to stop him.
Lazer pins The Piranha (LAZERLOCK, +4) Fatigue Count: Lazer (1), The Piranha (1)
Starboy vs. Johnny Kobra
The second match featured the high-flying Starboy and Johnny Kobra, the man known for grounding an opponent with leg sweeps, and kicks to the knee. Some would say this would be a dangerous match for Starboy, but you wouldn't know it here. Starboy started out fast, and hit both his finishers (SOMERSAULT KICK, FLYING CROSS CHOP) on route to victory.
After the match, Kobra looked furious after such a poor showing. He wanted the gold, but couldn't keep up.
Starboy pins Johnny Kobra (FLYING CROSS CHOP) Fatigue Count: Johnny Kobra (1)
Cobalt Commander vs. Rad Racer
Another high-flying superstar would hit the ring in Rad Racer, but unlike the previous match, there would be no attacks from the air. Cobalt Commander used illegal move after illegal move, and dominated from start to finish. In fact, Cobalt Commander wouldn't even finish Racer with a wrestling move. He preferred to step on his throat for the pinfall. Why the referee didn't stop the fight, we'll never know.
Cobalt Commander raised his arm in victory, and the crowd booed their heads off. This guy was dirty, and nobody appreciated it.
Cobalt Commander pins Rad Racer (Step on Throat) Fatigue Count: N/A
Dark Invader vs. Arizona Chance
Both of these men were favourites to win the title (some analysts had Dark Invader ranked #1 overall and Arizona Chance #3) but only one would get out of the first round. Arizona Chance started out strong and hit Invader for some big moves, but that would only anger the dark one. Invader would start pummeling Arizona, getting near-falls quite a few times. The match ended after Dark Invader launched him out of the ring, hitting his head on the floor. The referee would count him out, while Invader posed in the ring.
It would be interesting to see who would meet in the final. We were guaranteed to see a good vs. evil final, but who would walk out on top?
Dark Invader wins by countout Fatigue Count: Dark Invader (1), Arizona Chance (4)
Next Episode: Round two of the World Title Tournament! Lazer and Starboy will go head-to-head! Will the colourful strongman be able to ground the high-flying superstar? There has never been so much evil in the ring -- Cobalt Commander and Dark Invader square off! Nobody wants to finish last in the tournament -- The Piranha and Johnny Kobra try to advance to the consolation final! Two friends must go toe-to-toe -- Rad Racer and Arizona Chance take each other on!
Totally radical, man! It's Clash of the Classics! It's 80's Mania Wrestling!

As someone who has watched Raiders of the Lost Ark several hundred times... Seriously, when I was growing up in was nothing for me to watch this several times per week... Loved it THAT much...
Anyhow... I think we all know who I was rooting for... Once he gets a title shot... Trust me.

Clash of the Classics Episode #02
Welcome to Episode #02 of Clash of the Classics! Last week we saw four high-quality matches where the winners advanced to the semi-finals to determine the first-ever Heavyweight Champion! In our main event, Lazer takes on Starboy! Dark Invader challenges Cobalt Commander! The winners face each other for the Championship! In the loser's bracket, The Piranha faces Johnny Kobra! But first, it's the Adventurer vs. Racer!
Arizona Chance vs. Rad Racer
Rad Racer was a huge underdog in this match, but you wouldn't know it by watching this battle! Rad Racer hit both his finishers at one point, with Chance getting lucky to kick out. Eventually, the master of the whiplash tried to use an illegal object (guess which one!) and was caught by the referee.
Rad Racer with the DQ win, even though one could argue he had the match in the bag either way! Who will he face next episode?
Rad Racer def. Arizona Chance by DQ! Fatigue Count: Arizona Chance (3)
The Piranha vs. Johnny Kobra
Wow! The Piranha came out fast in this one, landing move after move. He had such a huge lead, that the crowd was shocked to see him go outside the ring for a chair! What was he thinking?! He smashed Kobra over the head, and was disqualified!
Kobra was still laying on the mat when he was informed he was the winner! He pumped a fist in the air, before going out cold. What a trooper?
Johnny Kobra def. The Piranha by DQ! Fatigue Count: Johnny Kobra (3)
Dark Invader vs. Cobalt Commander
The two evil forces squared off here, but it's clear one is more evil than the other. Cobalt Commander tried to cheat, but Dark Invader would have none of it. He went to THE CORRUPTER almost immediately, and picked up the easy win.
Invader refused to leave ringside. He wanted to know who his next victim would be.
Dark Invader pins Cobalt Commander (THE CORRUPTER!) Fatigue Count: N/A
Lazer vs. Starboy
Talk about a massive upset! Lazer would be off his game the whole night. (Could it be Dark Invader's presence?) Starboy was focused, and able to land his SOMERSAULT KICK before smashing Lazer with the FLYING CROSS CHOP! Lazer was caught, and he was done!
Starboy stared at Dark Invader on the outside, who began laughing maniacally. I think he thought the title was his for certain!
Starboy pins Lazer (FLYING CROSS CHOP!) Fatigue Count: Lazer (3)
Next Episode: The Finals of the World Title Tournament! Dark Invader and Starboy have made it to the finals! Can Starboy get the upset, or will the evil one hold the gold? Lazer will take on Cobalt Commander to become the #1 contender for the title! Rad Racer and Johnny Kobra look to become the champions of the consolation bracket! Finally, it's Arizona Chance vs. The Piranha in the "finals" of the losers bracket. It's a must win!
Totally radical, man! It's Clash of the Classics! It's 80's Mania Wrestling!

Snap! Great effort by Rad Racer... Pleased that Arizona Chance won in the end, but the DQ decision must leave a sour taste for both...
And a huge upset for Starboy, IMO... Lazer was the guy that everyone expected to run away with this thing... Maybe not gonna happen...
Expecting Dark Invader will take the top prize... He has been unstoppable... And despite his struggles against Starboy, I have no doubt that Lazer will become the number one contender...
Fun stuff!
