Another thread on this board deals with people's top ten heroes and villains in GWF history. Most of them rank Lord Nexus and Pulsar near the top of the list. The Titans were always relevant in the early days and were always among the most popular and successful characters. Today, they are undercard fodder for the most part, with an upstart tag team and a hardcore anti-hero comprising the team. Up until recently there were only two characters left who were even listed as being from Titan and one of the "Titans" was actually from the Second Realm!
Do you think we'll ever see a return of Titan greatness, or is it true that all good things must come to an end and the Titans are on their last legs as a team in the GWF? Maybe it's time to move on and create the next big "second-tier" supergroup to back up the FDF and let old factions like the Titans, and maybe even the Ani-Men, slip away into history.

I hope so. I really like the Titans. For me, however, they are anything but second tier fodder. Payback is dominating my fed with a record of 15-1-1 and holding the GWF Title, Tristan has held the tag belts twice. Once with Payback. Once with Reckless, and Titan Glory is holding thier own in the Milky Way tournament.
I'd love to see a Lord Nexus like character show up in a future set.

I'd like to see them return to glory. Really comes down to what Tom has planned though Tristan really could use an update.

Always been a big Titan mark. Lord Nexus was the man. Really wish they would return, and with a true pure wrestling - Lucha style that they had in the early days... with a bit of hardcore just for fun.

You have to remember, sometimes you've got to let things go. Even if we lose a group thats been around forever, Tom will surely replace it with someone as rememerable. You have to keep an open mind in the COTG world and sometime, learn to let things go.

Just as the Gladiators will rise again...so too will the Titans. There are only so many stories / angles that Tom can fit into a limited number of cards in the set. Tom has said at Galacticon that it was time for him to focus again on the Titans, that they had gone unattended for too long. Nitro was but the beginning & if you look at the youth & prospective talent that he holds...WOW! The Titans are going to be good again in a few sets. No worries ;D
