Arizona Chance v Cobalt CommanderChance starts with a Samoan Drop to Commander…LAST CRUSADE…kick out…LAST CRUSADE…1…2…3…Arizona Chance wins…he celebrates by ‘cracking his whip’! * In the Ring: The Piranha and Star BoyWe have an arm wrestling table set up in the ring…Star Boy and The Piranha lock up…but The Piranha back off…we lock up again…again The Piranha back off and complains to the referee…finally we get a start…first Star Boy has the advantage…then The Piranha comes back…finally…Star Boy out The Piranha down…Piranha is furious…he turns over the table and attacks Star Boy…he has a Piranha Bite on when the referees can finally separate them. Lazer v Dark InvaderThe Dark Invader slowly comes out…and the crowd is in a hushed silence…terrified…Lazer’s music hit…and all the kids are “ZAPPING” him…ZAP…ZAP…ZAP…Lazer runs into a Shadow Side Slam…that quiets the crowd…THE CORRUPTER…kick out…back elbow smash to Lazer…Invader misses from the top…diving clothesline by Lazer…Invader sends Lazer in shoulder first to the buckle…kick out…one-handed bulldog to Invader…spinning backbreaker as the ZAP chants start up…Invader kicks out…Invader stops the chants with a Choke Lift…he continues to holds Lazer up…Lazer is in bad shape…spinning backbreaker by Lazer…kick out…THE CORRUPTER…1…2…3…Dark Invader gets the win…he takes the mic and asks if this is the best that the PWF has to offer! ***1/2 In the Interview Area: ‘Honest” AlAl thanks everyone for viewing and credits roll. |

Although it didn't amount to much of a match... Great to see such Arizona Chance 'whipping' Cobalt Commander in such swashbuckling fashion... Sweet! Lazer showed a lot of heart, but Dark Invader had his number... Is that the best PWF has to offer? At least until the next set gets released...  Fun stuff... Really enjoying it! |

Unfortunately, most of the latches have been...well...'stinkers'. Someone made their analysis of how the cards stand up to other cards...and I agree...Dark Invader and Lazer as high mid-cards...with Arizona Chance and Cobalt Commander low mid-card...everyone else are jobbers. Card #4In the Interview Area: ‘Honest” Al“Honest” Al starts the show by welcoming everyone to Pro Wrestling Force Weekly…Al introduces Dark Invader…Dark Invader starts a long rant about how he defeated Lazer without breaking a sweat last week…and if that is the best that the PWF has to offer…he probably made a mistake and is wasting his talent in the PWF…the crowd starts to boo…when Dark Invader starts to rant on the unwashed masses in the audience and the crowd gets more riled up…some begin to throw drink…popcorn boxes toward the interview area. Star Boy v The Piranha The Piranha scored a surprise victory over Star Boy in the first episode…and attacked Star Boy after losing an arm wrestling match to the fan favorite last week…missile dropkick by Star Boy…kick out…SOMERSAULT KICK…1…2…THE PIRANHA KICKS OUT…backward leg sweep by The Piranha…Piranha leaps…but misses and crashes to the mat…he recovers for A backward leg sweep…OUTLAW CHOKE…Star Boy escapes…Piranha Bite…OUTLAW CHOKE…escape…Star Boy dropkicks Piranha into the corner…kick out…SOMERSAULT KICK…1…2…3…Star Boy gets the win. **** In the Interview Area: ‘Honest” Al“Honest” Al welcomes Rad Racer…Rad Racer is up in the crowd…”Mike” over his shoulder…he slaps kids hands…adults…the crowd is behind Rad Racer…out of nowhere he is attacked from behind by Johnny Kobra…he knocks Rad Racer down a small set of stairs to the floor…he picks up ‘Mike” and rams the bike into Rad Racer…leaving Racer down in a crump. Awesome to see Pirhana and Star Boy really given the chance to shine... Seems like these guys can really bring it when they are so inclined...
Although I'm not using the 8MW cards myself (picked up the set online, but don't see a future for them in what I'm running), I really can't wait to see more sets get released... Simply for the entertainment value they will add to all these great feds that other promoters are playing...

Card #5In the Interview Area: ‘Honest” Al“Honest” Al starts the show by welcoming everyone to Pro Wrestling Force Weekly…Al introduces Mr. Greenhorn…the administrator of PWF…”Honest” Al says that Mr. Greenhorn is here to address the vicious attack by Johnny Kobra that injured Rad Racer…Mr. Greenhorn says that he agrees…it was a despicable attack…but…unfortunately…he isn't in a position to make a decision today…by next week…Mr. Greehorn promised that he would have word from the attorneys at PWF…and a final decision would be rendered…Al throws it to “Rex Spectrum”! In the Sit Down Area: Rex SpectrumThe Sit Down Area has several chairs and presents a face to face or face to screen positioning…Spectrum announces that after hearing this man last week…he had to invite out Dark Invader…Spectrum asks Dark Invader about the comments by Dark Invader about the quality of competition in the PWF…Dark Invader says he believes and stands by what he says…if Lazer is the best the PWF has to offer…the competition is subpar…Spectrum says that his comments are interesting and Spectrum has invited someone else to the show that has a differing opinion…Spectrum brings out Lazer…ZAP…Lazer says that yes he lost to Dark Invader…but one match doesn’t prove anything…the two men brace up…Spectrum says "Wait, Wait”…Dark Invader you say that the PWF doesn’t have appropriate competition…and Lazer you say one match doesn’t make a difference…the truth is usually somewhere between…so…he’s what I propose…a best of 3 series…Dark Invader…you win…and you are released from your contract…you can pursue better competition…Lazer…if you win…you will be the ‘face’ of the PWF…the two men look at each other..and agree by shaking hands! Arizona Chance v Cobalt Commander Chance starts with a DDT…DDT…1…2…3…Arizona Chance gets the sudden win. ½* In the Ring: Star Boy and The Piranha“Honest” AL announces that the Piranha has asked for a return match in the arm wrestling win by Star Boy…the two men lock up…after a bit of back and forth…Star Boy wins again…The Piranha again tosses the table and attacks Star Boy with an OUTLAW CHOKE…the referees finally separate the two. Match 1 of 3Super atomic drop by Invader…kick out…reverse neckbreaker…LAZERLOCK…ZAP…ZAP…ZAP…Invader taps…Lazar wins the first match…ZAP…ZAP…ZAP. 1/2* In the Interview Area: ‘Honest” Al“Honest” Al welcomes Mr. Greenhorn…Mr. Greehorn asks Johnny Kobra out…Mr. Greenhorn says that after very detailed conversations with the PWF legal staff…and Mr. Kobra…the PWF has decided to take no action…Kobra is all smiles…Al asks Johnny what he thinks about the decision…Johnny Says that Mr. Greenhorn made the correct decisions…he then stands menacingly toward Al…he blames Al for bringing the Commissioner into this issue…out of nowhere comes Rad Racer…Rad Racer overcomes Johnny Kobra during the altercation…Racer leaves Kobra to slink off holding his shoulder…Racer then holds up “Mike” with a bent front rim…Racer says that next week…Rad Racer…and “Mike” want a match against Johnny Kobra! Lazer really brought the fight to Dark Invader in round one of their Best of 3 series... Could he have Invader eating his words by taking him down in two straight? Snap! That would be embarrassing for such a diabolical villain... Another fun show... Great work! |
