Introducing Pro Wrestling Force I have been following several promoters that have started excellent 80s Mania federation. Great job, guys. I thought I would start my own 80s Mania Fed. I thought it could be a good light quick paced fun league for me to run when I needed to recharge. So…without further ado…welcome to Pro Wrestling Force! PWF received a late Sunday (11:30 pm) thirty minute show. With this, PWF management went ahead and signed several personnel including 8 wrestlers and an announcer. Currently, they are in a ‘lets see what happens’ mold and have no house show or other scheduled. Everything current is shot in studio with a small-ish crowd. The production itself is very reminiscent of GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling). GLOW was a low production female exploitation wrestling federation in the late 80s. GLOW did give us Tina Ferrari/Lisa Moretti. So…here we go…! |

Force Weekly
Card #1In the Interview Area: ‘Honest” Al“Honest” Al starts the show by welcoming everyone to Pro Wrestling Force Weekly…he says he’s excited that his first guest is LAZER! Lazer comes out and sets the foundation for his opening catch phrase…”ZAP this, ‘Honest’Al”. He then says he wants to explain to all the little zappers out there…he tells them to raise their hands like you’re in school and want to answer a question, by the way, little zapper…stay in school…then bring your hand across the front of your body while yelling ‘ZAP’…that allows the ol’ Lazer to take the particles and molecules…the protons and electrons…and combine them with all the energy from my mighty little zappers…and heat up the ozone so that I can deliver ‘ZAP’ the crushing blow to my opponent. The crowd really responds especially the little kids…”Honest” Al asks Lazer if he’ll come back and talk with Al next week…Lazer says you can ZAP IT! Star Boy v The Piranha(Star Boy and The Piranha are the first match because both have a bit of notoriety…and the crowd knows there is a feud.) The Piranha rams Star Boy into the corner…Star Boy kicks out…Piranha Bite…octopus hold to Star Boy…backward leg sweep…another backward leg sweep by The Piranha…OUTLAW CHOKE…STAR BOY IS OUT! *1/2 In the Interview Area: ‘Honest” AlAl says he’s sorry that all the kids watching had to see such a display of a despicable hold. He throws it to a vignette. Vignette: Ko-Bro-JoKo-Bro-Jo is Johnny Kobra’s ‘secret’ dojo…though it looks like a basement…we see Johnny Kobra going through a series of moves/workouts…for each move…he calls out a signature name…Kobra Chop!...Johnny Jumpkick!...etc…if you look closely…it resembles a 15 year old who thinks he knows Ka-Ra-Te’ but has never had a lesson…he ends with a clumsy LEG SWEEP to a practice dummy…he ends by saying that this is what Rad Racer will face…next week…he bows to the camera and it ends In the Interview Area: ‘Honest” AlAl thanks everyone for viewing and credits roll. |

Very creative approach to this kind of fed... The Johnny Kobra segment was a lot of fun... Just the type of thing you'd expect from 80's style entertainment...
Looking forward to watching this concept develop... Nice work!

Card #2In the Interview Area: ‘Honest” Al“Honest” Al starts the show by welcoming everyone to Pro Wrestling Force Weekly…he says he’s excited to introduce to you again…Lazer…Lazer says he has heard a lot of talk about this guy…the Dark Invader…Lazer thinks that the Lazer and the Dark Invader need to face off…to see who really is the top dog in the PWF! A disembodied voice comes through…deep and menacing…the “DARK INVADER”…he says that the best way to rule…is to take out the best…he will meet Lazer…next week. Johnny Kobra v Rad Racer (F)Kobra is in the ring going through some clumsy karate moves…while Rad Racer comes out with his favorite bike, “Mike”…he circles the ring twice…before he gets off…the bell sounds…flying elbow by Racer…bridging back suplex…running shoulderblock to Johnny…we end up on the floor where Kobra starts to take control…Kobra shoves Racer into the corner…LEG SWEEP…1…2…3…Johnny Kobra gets the win. *
In the Ring: Arizona ChanceWith time running down…Arizona Chance gets the ring…he sends out a strong message to Cobalt Commander…he says that Commander is his own ‘holy grail’…and he wants his ‘holy grail’…right here…next week.
In the Interview Area: ‘Honest” AlAl thanks everyone for viewing and credits roll. |
