Welcome to Champions of the Galaxy: Survivor! This game is not entirely the result of my girlfriend saying: "HEY! Make sure you play with all your cards before you buy any more sets!" It's also the result of me wanting to buy more sets.
This is simple. Every tournament, eight wrestlers will enter the ring. It's a single elimination tournament, with the match-ups being completely random. The wrestlers who are eliminated in the first round, are out. Those who get to the second round, get to enter the next tournament as well. The winner of the tournament gets their name on a trophy and bragging rights.
Those who are able to compete in five tournaments will be "retired" and entered into the "Survivor: Hall of Fame".
I have 176 characters capable of entering this game (GWF, aCe, POW/CPC, 8MW, and some LOW extras I got with my sets) with the possibility of some other leagues being entered at a later date. As I get more sets, more characters will be entered into the pool.
This first post will be updated with all the wrestlers who make the Hall of Fame.

(And for the record, complete fluke that three 8MW wrestlers were picked back to back. Wild.) |

For this tournament I'll predict Dark Invader, Lazer, Pendragon and Mike Fortune to make it to the semifinals... Pendragon over Dark Invader in the final...
This should be fun to watch!

TOURNAMENT I:ResultsDark Invader (8MW) vs. Arizona Chance (8MW)Dark Invader def. Arizona Chance (2) via THE CORRUPTER!Dark Invader dominated Chance throughout the whole fight. I was shocked at how one-sided this was. --- Lazer (8MW) vs. Splatter (2088)Lazer def. Splatter via LAZERLOCK (+5)!Beatdown. First-time rolling that +5 Lazerlock. Devastating. Could there be a better semi-final match than Dark Invader vs. Lazer? --- Rubicon (CPC 2122) vs. Pendragon (aCe)Rubicon def. Pendragon (1) via NO RETURN!Another beatdown. Rubicon is a beast! First time playing with him too. He'll be tough to beat! --- Mike Fortune (CPC 2122) vs. Sycophant (aCe)Mike Fortune (2) def. Sycophant via DQ!Sycophant blew it. He had this match in the bag, and then POOF. Hopes and dreams vanished~ --- SECOND ROUND:Dark Invader (8MW) vs. Lazer (8MW)Lazer def. Dark Invader (1) via LAZERLOCK +2!I was hoping I'd get this match in my 8MW fed, but no dice. Match happened here, and it was fun. Lazer is crazy good. --- Rubicon (CPC 2122) vs. Mike Fortune (CPC 2122)Rubicon (1) def. Mike Fortune (1) via Pole RamSome might argue Fortune was fortunate (I was going to say lucky, but realized the pun at the last minute) to get this far. I'm inclined to agree. --- FINAL ROUND:Lazer (8MW) vs. Rubicon (CPC 2122)Lazer def. Rubicon 91) via DQ!...yep. The first tournament was won by disqualification. Somewhat anti-climactic! Hopefully we get a true winner between Lazer and Rubicon. Considering both automatically qualify for TOURNAMENT II, it could happen! --- That's the end of Tournament I! The following four have been eliminated from the competition: Arizona Chance (8MW), Splatter (2088), Pendragon (aCe) and Sycophant (aCe) are gone. --- TOURNAMENT II BRACKETS:  Rorus Oaken (aCe) vs. Rubicon (CPC 2122)---  Lazer (8MW) vs. Lord Nexus (2087)---  Esperanto (aCe) vs. Dark Invader (8MW)---  Mike Fortune (CPC 2122) vs. Cypher (CPC 2122)--- Hypothetically, we could see all four previous semi-finalists advance to a third tournament once again! I've been waiting to play with some 2087 cards for quite some time, and finally a character makes an appearance! And it is the man who won Pariah's GWF title in his epic fed. How will Lord Nexus fair here? Also, the only way I get Lazer/DI II is if both men make the finals. Could happen! Predictions welcomed again! |

Not being familiar with the CPC characters, I failed to realize that Rubicon is such a monstrous competitor... Gonna make solid predictions a little tough... But, hey... It's all great fun!
Tournament II predictions:
Rubicon, Lord Nexus, Dark Invader and Mike Fortune win in the first round... See ya' later Lazer!
Dark Invader over Rubicon in the final...
