Forgive my ignorance but who, if anyone, is Mighty Leo based off of from the 80's? I can pinpoint a lot of the characters and this one is probably obvious but my mind is drawing a blank right now lol.

Good Question.First thought is Tiger Mask,but not really sure.There also was that Cartoon Series Thundercats.Series came out 1985.
And Leo,their Leader also wears a Glove with Claws on.

Thundercats were led by Lion-O...and there is a strong resemblance to that character with Mighty Leo

Thanks guys now it makes sense. For some reason I was thinking he was a character from He-Man, GI Joe etc. but I completely forgot about Thundercats. Art work looks great and I will definitely be getting this set.

Mighty Leo looks great. Really enjoying this entire concept a lot. Fingers crossed for Jet Set Strutter to make the cut this time or next.

How could you not get Lion O? Maybe I was just a bigger Thundercats fan than most. I had all the figures and the sword that lit up. The 5 part series where Lion O had to test himself against all the other cats in their specialty was my favorite.
