How could you not get Lion O? Maybe I was just a bigger Thundercats fan than most. I had all the figures and the sword that lit up. The 5 part series where Lion O had to test himself against all the other cats in their specialty was my favorite. yeah that was a badass episode!!! |

I didn't twig mighty Leo / Lion O either. I think I was a little too old for thunder cats but I do remember it (younger brother was well into it). I was thinking he was a play on He-Man with a mask set to feud with Skullgore / skeletor. Love the concepts though. I just think I need to wait til a third pack comes out to give a 24 man roster before starting a fed. Jet Set Strutter sounds so cool and like someone else said cant wait to see Warhawk and Hammerhead lock up.mThe only character I am dissapointed with is Lazer, I loved the Ultimate Warrior and he's my all time fave so it's good to see a caricature of him in the set but I just can't get into the name Lazer.

I think Lazer is more a alternate early Sting.
He did team up with Jim Hellwig in a team called the Blade Runners.So i think Lazers Partner Buzzsaw will be the Warrior.

You might be right on the Lazer / Sting. Not sure why I didn't see that! Very excited for the new set though. The roster is great. I might give into temptation and a run a 16 man tournament to crown my first 80s mania Heavyweight champ and then run a couple shows. But I will wait til the third pack to start regulary play.
