As part of my angle and interview system this is a chart I made when a wrestler wishes to make a challenge to another.
CHALLENGE CHART by Vanity roll 1d6 for tens column and 1d6 for units colums. So a roll of a 2 and a 4 would be 24 etc.
11 You challenge your opponent to a no-holds barred brawl right here and now – begin an impromptu Titan death match. Treat this as a bonus match for the fans. Titles are acknowledged!
12-13-14 You challenge your opponent to a match, right here and now – begin a regular match. Treat this as a bonus match for the fans. Titles are not acknowledged.
15 You challenge your opponent to a match, right here and now – begin a regular match. Treat this as a bonus match for the fans. Titles are acknowledged!
16 You challenge your opponent to a special stipulation match, right here and now – begin special stipulation match. Treat this as a bonus match for the fans. Titles are acknowledged!
21-22-23 You challenge your opponent to a match at the next card – schedule this match into the next card. Titles are acknowledged!
24-25-26 You challenge your opponent to a match at the next Pay-per-view – schedule a match (either regular or special stipulation) for the next pay per view, other matches may have to be bumped from the card when this happens.
31 You challenge your opponent to a tag team match that night – both wrestlers must find a partner – choose an ally or attempt to recruit a partner.
32 You challenge your opponent to a tag team match at the next card. Both wrestlers must find a partner – roll for allies, or they could pair up with partner(s) who share the grudge, even if not ally.
33 You challenge your opponent to a tag team match at the next pay-per-view. Both wrestlers must find a partner – roll for allies, or they could pair up with partner who shares your grudge. You may not select a partner who is due to be in a title match. Other matches may have to be bumped from the card when this happens.
34 You challenge your opponent to a tag team match at the next pay-per-view. But you have a mystery partner who you randomly decide on the night of the pay-per-view. This may be anyone as long as he/she is the same allegiance (eg. Face or heel), but they don’t need to be an ally. This mystery wrestler may end up wrestling twice in one night (add 2 to their pin rating for 2nd match of night).
35 Face –You challenge your opponent to a match there and then, but the heel makes up an excuse and sends out an ally to accept your challenge instead. Fight the match and treat original opponent as a ringside manager.
Heel – You send out one of your allies to face your opponent. You act as a ringside manager during the match.
36 Face – You challenge your opponent to a match later that night, but when his entrance music plays, he does not come out. Instead you must face a random opponent instead.
Heel – You scoff at the opponent in front of you and say he is not worthy. You then send out an open challenge to any wrestler who is worthy and you must face this random opponent at the next pay-per-view. Acknowledge titles. (this can result in some surprising title bouts).
41-42-43 You challenge your opponent to a match at the next pay per view. They accept and make a stipulation.
44 You challenge your opponent to a match but they demand that a contract is signed before the match can happen. – “Roll on Press Conference Chart” between these wrestlers next week.
45 You challenge your opponent to a match tonight and they accept. They then offer to shake on it. Roll 1d6, 1,2,3 You accept and they hit you with their finisher. Begin the match with a +2 pin rating 4,5, You hit them with your finisher and leave them lying. They begin the match with a +2 pin rating. 6 You refuse to shake hands and walk off.
46 You challenge your opponent to a special match at the next pay-per-view. They accept but then they attack you. Roll on Interview Brawl Chart (by Doc).
51-52-53-54 You challenge your opponent to a match at the next pay per view. They accept and make it a “special” match of some kind. Roll 1d6 1,2, decide stipulation that night. 3,4,5 announce stipulation next week. 6 Fan’s Choice!! Announce stipulation on the night of the Pay-per-view.
55 You challenge your opponent to a (special) match at the next pay-per-view. They accept, but then some music blares over the loudspeaker, an ally of your opponent arrives and declares they will act as a bodyguard during the match.
56 You challenge your opponent to a (special) match at the next pay-per-view. They accept but then you decide to get a little rough – you attack your opponent – roll on Interview Brawl Chart.
61 You challenge your opponent to escape your best hold or move at the next card (or you to escape theirs if that fits best) (think Masterlock challenge). Add rating of the attackers hold/move to a d6 roll and subtract either ag or pw (whichever best) of opponent. Roll 1d6 a roll of 3 or less means the opponent has escaped the hold and won the challenge. A roll of 4 or more means the hold is locked in tight. A roll of 6 or more means the opponent was injured by the hold – roll injury. Treat this challenge as a match for ranking purposes.
62-63-64- You call out the commissioner and demand a title shot!!! Decide on the most appropriate title and roll commissioner’s card for an answer.
65 You challenge your opponent to a silly contest of some type at the next card. It may be to slam you if you are big, or you to slam them if they are big……or to a pie eating contest if both are fat, or pose-down if both pretty-boys. Be creative, make it up – chose either pw, ag, ring, ropes, deathjump, turnbuckle or pin rating to decide the outcome (or a combination, whichever fits best). Then roll 1d6 and divide by two, add this to rating, whoever scores lowest wins. Treat the winner as if they have won a match.
66 roll 1,2,3 - You challenge your opponent to a test of strength. The contest begins there and then. Both wrestlers roll 1d6 and divide by 2. They add this to their pw rating. The wrestler with the lowest score wins the contest. The winner gains a Face/Heel Chart Token.
4,5,6 - You challenge your opponent to a weight lifting competition – it is scheduled for the next card. The wrestler with the best pw rating wins. The winner gains a Face/Heel Chart Token
