Is there anything official on which managers go with which wrestlers? I'm playing the tournament and at the moment all the wrestlers are going solo but I might gradually intro one or two managers. I guess Big Boss, JR might fit Strutter and the Gargoyle goes with Skullgore perhaps. But I'd be interested to hear other people's opinions

Haven't seen anything official from the creators of the game. I think you could do whatever you wanted.

Thanks. Yeah it sounds like it's open ended. I think I can see Big Boss, JR with Strutter but I think as a money / gold grabber I'll have him wait til the belt is on Strutter and then try and run lots of interferences in title defences. The Gargoyle could go with creepy types like Skullgore and maybe Piranha, Mister Bonsai with Johnny Kobra, Professor Gigawatt is a great character but struggle to see who'd have him as manager, maybe Ace Arcadium and if he comes in a future pack then deffo Michael T. Wolf . I can't really visualise Priness Starbright (maybe Neon Express) or Valley Girl with any of the current roster. Maybe in future packs.
