In normal COTG, managers only have the option to interfere when their wrestler is down or pinned and can do this once a match. Generally they don't have specific charts which are bespoke to themselves (at least not where I am in 2097). On 80s mania handbook they all have their own charts. The instructions seem to be more geared towards their own wrestler being on offence and not really related to saving their guy from possible defeat. So I wonder what opinion is on when these interrference charts can be used and how often? Also would you still roll on the generic manager interference chart if their wrestler was being pinned.
My interpretation at the moment is ... manager can roll on their bespoke chart anytime their wrestler is on offence (ONCE PER MATCH), manager can roll on generic manager interference chart when their wrestler is being pinned (ONCE PER MATCH), manager can attempt a distraction using their distractor rating (ONCE PER MATCH), manager can choose to attack a wrestler that has been thrown outside or rolled out for a breather as many times as they like but of course risks disqualification.
I suppose another interpretation could be a manager can only roll on either interference chart just once per match and so it's down to us to decide which one is used and when.
I'd be very interested to hear what others think on this.

The general precedent is that you only get one Interference per match, except for no-DQ matches where you get 2. That applies to the old Manager, Gang, and Wrestler Interference charts as well as things like Mesmer, who had a card where he could perform mystical "enhancement" on his team's men before the match started. Past rules were pretty clear on that but as usual, it's up to you, promoter.
Interference outside the ring is unlimited, as you say, but does anyone actually remember that rule or use it anymore? Just curious--the rule sort of seems like an anachronism as it was in the original Instructions before there was any Outside Interference chart (which I think came out with 2088). I made note of it with certain manager instructions for the JCP sets, but I don't know how widely it's ever used.

Thanks for sharing. I think on that basis I will use outside interference just once but I'll use either chart depending on what scenario may offer itself first. In my GWF fed it's a non issue as I am so far back the dilemma has not presented itself yet.
As for attacking outside the ring when someone's been thrown out or rolled out willingly I do use that albeit sparingly. Some managers I never do it with because I can't picture it fitting their image - heroes like Omega and Trainer Jim never interfere or I only use the Collector for distractions because I visualise him as being too old to effectively make an attack. But someone like B Guile almost always tries it because he's just a sneaky, loathsome type.
