Latest News:
Tough Guy being publicly sacked and beaten up by the Hitmen during the Launching Pad as punishment for his regular no shows was shocking but not surprising. Finally he might he forced to start getting in the ring more often if he wants to get the Hitmen off his back. The best way to prevent further aggro is to beat them in the middle of the ring. He had his first chance on #1052. He was close to a clean victory there until Mike Fortune brought the dreaded rifle out. It’s possible it may of developed into another grisly attack but other heroes at the show including Karah, Buck Steele and Wolf saved his bacon. What wasn’t wise was Tough Guy’s reaction to the help. He might need some friends going forward. Maybe it’s time to stop being so tough and get some help. The Hitmen are not a group you want to be taking on alone.
Maxine Babe has a predicament most women across the galaxy would love to be in. Two of the galaxy’s most desirable men (apparently) in Vanity and Brainstorm after her. But for Maxine it’s an episode that is causing her life to be hell at the moment. Everyone assumed when she walked out on Brainstorm a few weeks ago that she would go straight to the arms of Vanity. Even Brainstorm thought that as he retaliated with a sick and well orchestrated attack helped by Skinhead on Vanity leaving his face with ‘ugly’ bruises. As it turns out Maxine didn’t go back, she went off to find herself. Well after her few weeks abscence she will be back when Vanity and Brainstorm face off. What will her answer be? Will she even give one? Some of the media still think this is all a game for publicity and dub Maxine Babe as an actress who loves all the attention.
After a long lay off Janus is back. Will he seek revenge on the Code Enforcers? It might be better to just quietly return unless he wants to return to hospital. Speaking of the Code Enforcers they have been quiet of late. Since showing a few chinks in the armour with some defeats. Maybe just giving CPC a short grace period before hitting them again.
Is everything okay between Lycosa and Enigma? These two are highly competitive with each other. Darkos claims that he treats them fair with an equal push. However last month Enigma was set to challenge Dreggs for the CPC Cruiserweight belt. This was because Lycosa was holding the GWF version. Then Lycosa goes and drops it in a shock defeat to Dynamo. He was instantly able to bulldoze Enigma’s title shot after that. The two feds Cruiserweight rankings mirror each other very closely and Commissioner Grogan sensing it could cause unrest within a GWF team lets it happen. It wasn’t a great month for Enigma what with this and then also suffering a lottery attack from Splatter and Vyper. Oddly Darkos says there are no plans to seek retribution. That might not make Enigma too happy either.
Ms. Liberty bravely returns to wrestling next month. She wants to show her spirit has not been broken for good and is determined to have as normal a life as possible. No way she’ll allow Adam’s betrayal run her out of the GWF. She bemoans some of the media attention about it all as a privacy invasion. Just wants to be left alone to get on with things. Her target is to win one or even both the ladies belts. Still thinks she has it in her to do so and jokingly says “I think we’ve all had enough of Supernova hoarding the belts”.
Belt controversies. Pegasus stumbles controversially into a title shot. His win against Monad recently plus a couple of dark show successes seen as enough to warrant it. The decision had been made before his loss to Mad Jester became public knowledge. He is very lucky. It’s been earned mostly on reputation and nobody else has really stood out. Even bigger news is the CPC trying to stir things up and entice Chaos. They claim his singles career is far from over and want to give him a push in their organisation. They have named him top contender to their Interstellar belt. It’s kind of a backhanded compliment. They’ve kept him out of the Heavyweight belt reckoning. Will Chaos even accept? He has never had any respect for secondary titles. Their CPC Heavyweight champion, Paragon, is being given the month off of defending his title. This is to ensure that they keep their main belt at the year end within their roster. There is bound to be lots of change ahead and this will make their position stronger.
TEAM SUPREME coming on #1054. Pegasus is giving a rallying call to his team mates to step up and finally win this thing for the Champions team. It’s something both Omega and Star Warrior have failed to do. Amazing really. They could sure do with the lift. So that all the singles stars on the Champions team can be accommodated the Commissioners have allowed Wolf to switch to the FDF team for the event. Side effect is the complaining of the CPC so to quieten them down they have allowed them to enter 2 teams. To keep an even amount of hero and villain teams the intention was for the Fighting Titans to get the nod over Masked Assassins. However that also caused a ruckus. Darkos said his team were far superior this year and held more titles and should be in. He had a point. So the compromise is the Titans and Masked Assassins will wrestle a Team Supreme qualifier at the prior card. The teams entered are as follows … CHAMPIONS, FDF (inc. Wolf), CPC HARDCORE, CPC ELITE, GLADIATORS, GENESIS, COLONIZERS, FIGHTING TITANS/MASKED ASSASSINS.
INJURED – Enigma (4); SUSPENDED – none
WRESTLER OF THE MONTH:
PRODIGY - This guy always comes up smelling of roses. He’s had a pretty poor year yet has now gone and won the Interplanetary belt. After being giving a sniff of a chance he raised his game and did it. The amount of titles he has now won in his career is insane.
TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH:
MILLENIUM - The tag team arena may not appeal to Colussus and Heracles but they sure are effective in that role. Able to ensure Rebel Empire’s reign with the CPC tag belts was a very short one which made their bosses very happy.

CARD 1053 – GANYMEDE STADIUM:
Amazonia finally beats Supernova and wins the ladies belt. Again! Change the record GWF. But in their defence there is not much option. These two are head and shoulders above the rest at the moment. Luckily there is rumouring that the women’s division will be strengthened very soon. The groans over the repetition soon turn to cheers as the two women serve up a match of the year contender. It is action packed the whole way through. Amazonia tried to embarrass Supernova with her finisher twice in the first 4 moves. Supernova barely survived. You could see Amazonia wondering just what she’s got to do to beat this woman. Supernova comes back strong. Very nearly a winner as she uses her dazzling repertoire that included SPEED OF LIGHT twice. Amazonia won’t roll over either though. Absorbs the punishment and then launches a relentless second big wave of offence in which she hits Supernova with everything. Needing AMAZON ATTACK an incredible six times overall before she is finally able to get the pin and her hands back on the belt. Sportingly she helps Supernova up before accepting the belt. The two women hug. They knew they’d been in a 5* classic.
Cruiserweight champ, Dynamo, lost to Karah by DQ. Big moment for Karah. Calls it the highlight of his career to be competing for the Cruiserweight belt. Has a great chance too. Dynamo is not expected to hold onto this for very long. For two reasons. First the fact he doesn’t have the talent. Secondly that he is struggling with the weight limit. He was over by a few pounds and the Commissioners have warned that he will probably be stripped of the belt. However they didn’t want to change the match at such notice and short change the fans so it goes ahead. Dynamo goes onto lose by disqualification. Later Karah is announced as the new champion because of Dynamo not making the weight. Given it by forfeit. Karah is happy but very lucky. Just right place, right time.
Fighting Titans beat Masked Assassins 6-3 in a Team Supreme Qualifier. Darkos stokes it up by saying the Titans are to blame for Enigma’s lottery attack injuries. Accusing them of making a deal. Lord Nexus cannot believe such baloney. Darkos then goes onto to say the plan failed and Enigma is fully fit. He even names him team captain. The reality is Enigma is not in great shape and they are trying to cover this up. Comes as no surprise that he is their weak spot and costs them the match … Titan Attack beat Ninja Assassins by DQ. Bad start for the Masked Assassins. The current tag champs choose to ignore their martial arts skills and go down the brawling route. Could be a costly choice. The referee overseeing is known to be among the strictest around. He takes no nonsense and disqualified Hydrax the moment he threw Scion Nexus into a crowd barrier … Lycosa pinned Talon. Early part of the match dominated by ref bump. He was down for 10 moves during which Talon wrestled his best stuff. The ref was quite upset by what happened even though it was an accident. Talon was the one that struck him. The ref wanted to call a DQ but couldn’t be sure who it was. He considered a double DQ but that might lead to him being lynched by the fans. So on the match went. Unfortunately now with Lycosa in total control. Talon holds on against BLACK WIDOW’S BITE twice. However his energy reserves are diminishing. A Lycosa Lariat soon after sent him flying and it was over. The judges generously award Lycosa 3 points whilst acknowledging Talon’s efforts with a single point. So it means we go into the decider with the Masked Assassins 3-2 up. Despite that the Titans are now favourites because of Enigma’s rumoured injuries … Rising Sun crushed Enigma. No surprise. Enigma clearly not up to it. The gamble of Darkos fails miserably. Rising was relentless and finished him with SUNSET SPECTACULAR. 4 points without reply means the Fighting Titans make the event.
Anaxis easily beat Ms. Liberty. Massive cheer for Ms. Liberty as she returns to the ring. For a moment it looks the emotion of it all might overwhelm her. Commander Sam is there beside her like a father figure and keeping her focused. Not that Anaxis gave her much time to soak it all up. Attacking before the bell. Trying to take advantage of Ms. Liberty’s rustiness. It was very apparent as Anaxis needed just a couple of minutes to use CALL OF THE SIREN and win. Even in defeat Ms. Liberty was upbeat. Later saying “I didn’t expect to win. This was a big step to just get back in the ring. I will get better in time”.
Chaos manhandled Dreadnaught. The news that Chaos will go for CPC Interstellar gold later in the month overshadows this match. Dreadnaught resents that Chaos has stolen the spotlight and angrily storms in with a crowbar. The big man barely flinches as Dreadnaught weakly strikes him. Chaos then rips the crowbar from Dreadnaught’s grasp and belittles him “do you think you are the Code Enforcer? You’re too weak and pathetic to even compete in the ladies division now”. Dreadnaught is undeterred. He now goes for Chaos with his bare hands. Fair play to him. Actually got some decent hits in before Chaos inevitably overpowered him. Once in control Chaos starts applying BOW OF DEFEAT. Three times in a row, then a gap where other power moves are dealt before a fourth one finished Dreadnaught off. There is a tense atmosphere as Dreadnaught lay motionless for a while. Was this the end everyone has been dreading? Medics are about to get to work when Dreadnaught suddenly raises and arm and gives a thumbs up. Relief. He lives to fight another day!
Vanity defeated Brainstorm. The whole build up was about whose side would Maxine Babe be on. However she gets cold feet and doesn’t show up. Vanity looked disappointed. He hoped in his penultimate match she might come back to him. Brainstorm laughs in his face “it was all an act. Maxine was never coming back to you, we staged the whole thing. Women never want to leave me. I am the smartest, most athletic and sexiest man in the cosmos”. The humiliation invokes a determined reaction in Vanity. He makes sure this feud ends on a high. Eventually, with Cassandra’s help, able to pin Brainstorm after LADIES CHOICE. Darla was her usual useless herself. Her attempt at a distraction was a meek shout of ‘stop’. Completely ignored. Vanity takes possession of the mic after match calling Maxine Babe a trollop. He then promises the fans that he will give them one more match before retiring. He seemed to think that might get a big pop. Forgetting he is still a heel and part of the CPC payroll. Never going to be popular at a staunch GWF location like Ganymede.

CARD 1054 – TEAM SUPREME – DEIMOS INTERGALACTIC ARENA:
Rules reminder - Opening round hero teams generally do not face each other. Nobody is allowed ringside. DQ outcomes possible. Judges score each match. Awarding up to 4 points per wrestler/team. If team captains win their match they score a bonus point. So the maximum total a team can score is 13. Which is a very unlucky number for their opponents. I don’t accumulate tokens generally because there are so many matches so lots of rest time and this event takes place over 2 days. The added attraction match always splits the second round and final. If a guy take a real pummelling ahead of his team making the final I will look at it on an adhoc basis. Maybe add a token or two but it’s unlikely.
DRAW (team captains in bold):
CHAMPIONS (Alpha Power, Matador of M83, Pegasus)-COLONIZERS (Rebel Empire, Painmaster, Mandrill) … FDF (Royal Flush, Code Enforcer, Wolf)-CPC HARDCORE (Desolation Factor, Mayhem, Mad Jester) … CPC ELITE (Millenium, Terminus, Paragon)-GENESIS (Max Shield and Buck Steele, Blizzard, Wraith) … GLADIATORS (Thunder and Overkill, Vengeance, Malice)-FIGHTING TITANS (Titan Attack, Talon, Rising Sun)
Added attraction:
Skinhead stunned Prodigy to win the IP belt. This feud had pretty much died a death. Prodigy had proven himself superior in the past. Plus both were pretty much out of the spotlight. Suddenly out of nowhere they are thrust back into it. Prodigy showed you can’t keep a great wrestler down and found form to capture the IP belt. Skinhead has also been looking stronger and much more capable of beating his old partner. Managers out in force too. They will be banned from being ringside for the rest of the event. So here was the stage to do their stuff. Thantos warns Johnny Rocket not to do anything dastardly or else his twiglet legs might get snapped by MASTERLOCK. Johnny defiantly says Thantos is too old to do that and reminds “you are on GWF territory. An attack on me is an attack on all of us. There are people that will protect me”. When all quietens down so the two wrestlers can get to grips with each other it’s a great contest. Didn’t go very long but lots of drama. It is clear that Skinhead is highly motivated to capture the belt. However Prodigy is sneaky and managed to direct Skinhead out of the ring so Thantos could try and attack him. He didn’t care if it ended in DQ as it would keep the belt on him. Instead Skinhead shocks them by swiftly getting up and grabbing Thantos by the throat. Prodigy tries to help his manager but their heads just get smashed together. Johnny Rocket excitedly claps at this turn of events. He’d kept the ref’s attention diverted during all of this. He then implores Skinhead to finish this off. Skinhead obliges by rolling Prodigy back in the ring and using BAD ATTITUDE to take the win and return the IP belt to the GWF. The crowd loves it as Skinhead is then joined by Brainstorm to give Prodigy an extra dose. Thantos is down and unable to do anything about it as Prodigy is beaten with Brainstorm’s mortar. It must have a steel plate inside as it busts Prodigy open pretty bad. The aftermath is a 1 card injury for Prodigy. Slightly more serious consequences for Skinhead and Brainstorm as they cop a 5 card suspension. However it did not matter much. Neither is booked to wrestle again, they are done for this year and Skinhead will of served out his suspension before he is required to defend the belt for the first time.
Round 1:
The Champions smashed the Colonizers 8-2. Star Warrior is upbeat about his teams chances of capturing its first ever trophy in this event. He says “we’ve not had our greatest year but you gotta take the rough with the smooth. I predict tonight is the night when we get back on track”. It certainly gets off to a good start as they pretty much steamroll the Colonizers … Alpha Power crushed Rebel Empire. Nefarus has always been good at mind games. He seeks to drive a wedge between Alpha Power by getting on the mic. Aimed at Chaos “I thought tag teaming was beneath you”. Chaos answers the taunt by ripping the mic out of his hands and crushing it. All he did was make Alpha Power determined to make him eat his words. They dominate from start to finish with Vendetta being the victim. Vendetta managed to survive ALPHA POWER COMBO but Chaos clamps BOW OF DEFEAT straight after to finish him. Terrible start for the Colonizers. Already 4 points adrift and a long way back … Painmaster and Matador of M83 ends double DQ. This was a mega frustrating outcome. Both showcased their considerable talents in the early part with Painmaster even using THE TORTURE RACK. Just when it looked like we would have a hell of a match on our hands they lost their heads and got into a wild brawl. The judges were so horrified they refused to hand out any points. Maybe some of the pressure was getting to Star Warrior as he jumps down the throat of the referee with an immediate posting on Spacebook lamenting the decision only to quickly delete it. Enough people saw it though to see how annoyed he was. The outcome gives Mandrill an outside chance of turning it around in the last match. But it would need a major collapse from Pegasus … Pegasus defeated Mandrill. After a shaky start Pegasus gets into the groove. It took three in total but PROJECT PEGASUS comes up trumps for him. Gives the final scoreline a very dominating look to it.
FDF edges CPC Hardcore on count back after ending level at 3-3. With the Champions safely through everyone is silently hoping the FDF will win here and face them. Star Warrior pitting his wits against Commander Sam’s team is a mouthwatering prospect. Just so long as they remain friends at the end. This CPC Hardcore team wasn’t going to make things easy for them though. However the FDF makes the next round despite not looking impressive in any single match … Desolation Factor destroyed Royal Flush. Disastrous for the FDF. Jack started well enough but when he tags out Defender of the Realm just crumbles. He pinballs between the two behemoths in a brawl that followed RACKED AND RUINED. Even though this bought him some more time was in no shape to take more. So when Ruin follows up with a big choke slam it’s over. They are lucky to only concede the 3 points in this loss. The judges could of awarded the maximum of 4 and nobody would of argued … Code Enforcer beats Mayhem by DQ. No surprise to see the larger Code Enforcer rolled out to match up to the hardcore opponent flavour. He didn’t get much chance to do his stuff though. Mayhem hellbent on just brawling. Code Enforcer didn’t need much encouragement to join him outside where it becomes chaotic. Bell soon sounds. At least FDF get the point as Mayhem is punished for being the instigator. The fact Code Enforcer was wearing the captain’s armband also earned a valuable bonus point. So now the FDF only 3-2 down … Wolf overcomes Mad Jester by DQ. The hairs are on end as the deciding match comes. Could Wolf hand FDF a victory that seemed so unlikely after the first match? Jester put up a stern resistance. He was confident after a recent high profile victory over Pegasus. Sure enough, in what was easily match of the night so far, Jester causes lots of problems. Looked curtains for Wolf as he fell victim to A DEAD MAN’S VERSE. But before he could pin Wolf the bell goes and sudden crowd cheers as the ref’s decision is to call a DQ for the move. FDF stumbles through as points are level but they won more matches. There will be a post mortem on this within the CPC.
CPC Elite annihilated Genesis 9-2. The Genesis line up is messed up. Due to Wraith and Blizzard not getting on well it forces Buck Steele and Max into unfamiliar tag team territory. Vertigo made the call. Max, being the team player that he is, was happy to do it. Buck wasn’t quite so enthusiastic. The CPC contingency were late out coming to watch. Still bitterly contesting decisions from the last match. The complaints fall on deaf ears. Magnus Colby, Sonora Pelf and Commissioner Grogan had faces like thunder as they were eventually sighted. At least their Elite team lifted the gloom with a dominating victory … Millenium beat Buck Steele/Genocide and Max Shield. Epic contest. Heracles awakened Genocide quite early as he grabbed Buck Steele in a Heracles Power Clamp. However Genocide wasn’t very effective. Heracles seemed to know exactly how to handle him. Every time they crossed paths was able to weaken Genocide with his OLYMPIA move. Genocide must of took about 5 of these before he finally went down for good. Judges scored this 3-1. Luckily as the team captains Max and Buck grabbed an extra point. So only 1 behind despite the loss … Terminus over Blizzard by DQ. Blizzard made a mess of this. Made a strong start. Terminus was wobbling all over the ring after a Hailstorm Headrammer. Blizzard should of gone for the kill. Instant he chucks Terminus out of the ring, starts brawling and gets himself disqualified. Lots of pressure now on Wraith who has to try and deal with Paragon. Not looking good for Genesis … Paragon destroyed Wraith. Total squash. Done in just 3 moves. Paragon using FINAL OVERTURE to win and gain the maximum score.
Gladiators see off Fighting Titans 6-4. The Titans were given little chance but Lord Nexus is one of those glass half full guys. Always positive. Sadly they were eliminated with a match to spare. Not all gloom and doom though. Great performances from Talon and Rising Sun shows the future is bright … Thunder and Overkill crushed Titan Attack. Poor Scion Nexus never got out of the ring. The Gladiators just dismantled him. The only finisher he didn’t get hit with was DECAPITATOR. In the end it was Overkill’s TURNBUCKLE TRAP that ended the suffering. The Titans have an uphill task now as they trail 3-0 after that … Vengeance defeated Talon. Not easy at all for Vengeance. Talon wrestles a blinder and causes one or two heart stopping moments. Ultimately fatigue took its toll and Vengeance able to close out with a Torture Grip. It means the Gladiators certain of going through with an unassailable 6-0 lead … Rising Sun easily beat Malice. Plenty of Titan pride restored. Rising Sun wiped the floor with Malice and wins with SUNSET SPECTACULAR. Was Malice guilty of not trying as he knew the Gladiators were already through?
Round 2:
FDF crushed the Champions 10-0. A nervous one for the GWF commissioners to watch. Could the friendship bond between these two teams come through intact? No such nervousness from the fans who were loving that their heroes were going against each other. As early as the first match their fears were allayed as both teams show solidarity. Perhaps more dramatic than that though was the outcome. FDF wiped the floor with the Champions. Fair play to Star Warrior. He didn’t want to suck the joy out of it all so takes it on the chin and pledges to be in the crowd supporting the FDF in the final … Code Enforcer easily beats Matador of M83. The switching game of the Code Enforcers still being played as the smaller of the two competes here. Without doubt much more suited to taking on someone like the Matador. Given what we’ve seen this year it’s not a surprise the Code Enforcer was able to win. However it is the manner of victory that is shocking. Absolute squash. Done in 3 moves via HEADS WILL ROLL. Massive 5 point haul to boot. Unfortunately the dastardly Splatter and Vyper decide to choose another lottery winner. They club down the Code Enforcer and look ready to initiate a violent attack. Suddenly the Champions and FDF teams band together as every single member rushes out to outnumber Vyper and Splatter. They are quickly set upon with the Champions taking care of Vyper and the FDF dealing with Splatter. Both are thrown over the top rope and the two hero teams stand united in celebrating the prevention of the attack. Amazing considering they were in the middle of facing each other … Royal Flush defeated Alpha Power. Unbelievable. It’s another squash. Defender pinned Alpha Force with DEFENDER CANNON. This one lasted 4 moves. The cameras zoom into where Commander Sam and Star Warrior were standing away from the ring and watching. Star Warrior looks shellshocked. Sam gives him a consoling pat on the back. Could the FDF do the unthinkable and score maximum points? They are 9-0 ahead … Wolf beat Pegasus by DQ. OMG. The two most popular heroes collide. Add to this that Wolf is supposed to be a Champions guy and we have a potential powder keg. Probably just as well it’s not pivotal to the outcome. The FDF have walked this one. It’s been hard for the Champions to take and their own guy, loaned to the FDF for this event, might be about to make things worse. However even the best matches on paper sometimes fail to deliver. This was one of those. Some brief grappling before it went outside. Pegasus probably trying a little too hard to make the overall scoreline less embarrassing. He put Wolf into a steel post and then shoved the ref aside when being told to take the action back in the ring. That led to an unpopular DQ. Maybe the ref had done the Champions a favour by calling time on it early. A total whitewash would of been hard to live down.
CPC Elite over the Gladiators in a commanding 7-1 score. The war between the CPC and Gladiators has simmered in recent months. But it’s always been there. Arguably the Gladiators have been superior. Although a win in a high profile event like this would prove a huge boost for the CPC and give associated bragging rights. Not to mention a place in the final where whoever won would probably be labelled as the favourite. The CPC quartet delivered big time although the margin was misleading. Every match was a tough battle and will surely take a toll in the final. A couple hours of rest might not be enough for them … Paragon pinned Malice. Both guys had very different experiences in their previous matches. Not that this meant anything now. What happened yesterday has no effect on today. That was very true as Malice exploded out the blocks. Looking like he might win it quick. Only to disastrously miss FIELDS OF MALICE. Paragon was spared and never looked in danger again. He managed to get on a relentless run with his painful Whirlybird Backbreaker. The final one he left Malice across the knee for a few seconds for added impetus. Then pushes him off like a piece of garbage and goes for the pin. Remembering to hook the leg and lean in. Malice was too weak to force him off and was beaten. The bonus point for being the captain comes in very handy again as Paragon outscored Malice 4-1 … Millenium beats Thunder and Overkill by DQ. Fairly even contest until Overkill got too heavy handed when outside of the ring. He had got frustrated at Heracles being cowardly and bailing out. Leaves the Gladiators staring down the barrel of elimination. Vengeance needs to pretty much annihilate Terminus to stand any chance … Terminus beats Vengeance by count-out. If Terminus was wise he’d be playing for a DQ loss to ensure the CPC team progresses. However he is driven by personal gain and refuses to compromise his own ranking with a deliberate loss. So he goes toe to toe with Vengeance. He is rewarded for his positivity with a major scalp. A count-out win after several minutes back and forth. Vengeance got slammed on the hard floor and couldn’t beat the count back. Although his motivation might of been low as he knew the match had been too close to stand any chance of rescuing it for the Gladiators.
Final:
FDF defeated CPC Elite 6-3 to win the event. Quite the contrast in the teams going into this final. Whereas FDF cantered through the CPC Elite team looks decimated. The previous round took so much out of all of them. The scoreline quite misleading as to how hard it had been. A bomb scare delays the start by a hour. Turned out to be a hoax. No proof but strongly suspected to be the work of the CPC. Trying to buy its wrestlers as much recovery time as possible. The plan worked perfectly as by the time of the opening match Terminus looks as fresh as a daisy … Terminus pinned Wolf. Given the intensity of their previous feuding this was highly anticipated. Mostly Wolf has come out on top when they’ve met but not tonight. Terminus was in fine form. As the minutes ticked by the crowd was expecting one of those classic Wolf comebacks. Sadly it never arrived. Terminus kept chipping away at him and a second HAMMERLOCK SLAM took the victory. All eyes were on the scoreboard. The crowd hoping the judges wouldn’t score Terminus too generously. Groans as it flicked up 3-0. Problem was that Wolf didn’t really have much memorable offence at all in the match. Virtually always on the back foot. With his third win at the event Terminus is a strong candidate for the MVP award. His main opposition will be his team mates and possibly the Code Enforcer … Code Enforcer over Paragon by DQ. This final has thrown up some great matches. Another meeting between Paragon and one of the Code Enforcers. A chance for Paragon to put this out of reach of the FDF. He only needs a DQ win. No surprise to see the larger of the two Code Enforcers brought back out. Although the smaller one might feel hard done by not to be chosen after his astonishing performance against the Matador in the last round. Anyway it’s not one of the better meetings between Paragon and the Code Enforcers. Marred by brawling during which Paragon took a hold of the crowbar and swung at the Code Enforcer. He’s clearly a better wrestler than will ever be a baseball player. A wild miss which saw him strike the ring post. The force of the blow reverberated through Paragon’s body and led him to drop the weapon. The concerned ref decided to rule the DQ so security could get in there and retrieve the crowbar. Paragon’s wisdom to do all this was questionable. It keeps the CPC Elite in the lead but only by a point. All comes down to the last match now … Royal Flush blew Millenium away. Over in a mere 4 moves. Colossus just seemed unprepared for the agility of Defender of the Realm. His first attack was countered and he was then subjected to an elbow off the top rope. Landing hard right on the soft side of his head. Heracles hadn’t smelled the danger so there was no pin save forthcoming. With that the FDF wins the event. A bit of a shock. Probably most surprising one since the Rocket Men triumphed in the event a few years ago.

CARD 1055 – PELF PALACE:
Disorder X downed Millenium to win the CPC tag belts. It is clear that with the end of 2108 in sight that the CPC wants to keep its 2 main belts in house. That’s why Paragon is being given the month off from defending and also the reason the tag team belts will be contested between two rostered teams here. Early running was made by the champs. Looking good to continue their reign. Colussus had Grunge in all sorts of trouble after ROBOTIC DEATHBLOW and handed off to his partner to finish things off. Heracles has been hitting OLYMPIA with incredible frequency this year. It’s such an effective move. Can be delivered fast and precisely. Maybe not the most potent finisher but still packs a punch given his size and most go down like dominos. However he seems reluctant to use it for once. Choosing to try and punish Grunge some more. It’s a bad decision as Grunge gets the hot tag. Mace comes in and brings Disorder X right back into it. Wins several power battles against Heracles. The tide well and truly turned. They then set into motion DECIMATION which has their manager, Reynard B. Guile, squealing excitedly on the outside. Colussus is like a statue on the apron. No pin save attempt. Foolishly not believing Heracles is anywhere near beat up enough to get pinned as a result. He was very wrong as a low double roll condemns Millenium to defeat. The CPC tag belts are the hotttest potatoes of all and switch hands yet again. Mace brags in the aftermath that he has been far more successful with Grunge than he ever was with Dreggs and Disorder X has outshone Twin Blood. In my opinion it’s level pegging. Greater belt success for Disorder X for sure but Twin Blood did win OTB and that’s massive.
CPC Interstellar champ, Terminus, loses to Chaos by DQ. Terminus was fresh off his MVP award at TEAM SUPREME and looking supremely confident. Seemed weird treating Chaos like the underdog. Star Warrior was at ringside supporting Chaos but secretly hoping it wouldn’t end in the winning of the Interstellar belt. Could very well unbalance the team if Chaos gets the singles itch again. Opposite opinion within the CPC. They were secretly hoping Chaos would prevail and trigger internal friction. This is why Thantos hadn’t even bothered to be at ringside. Although he hadn’t been anywhere near the ring at all tonight as he was also absent in all other matches involving Penthouse Suite members. Bizarre having two managers hoping their own guys wouldn’t win. Sadly it didn’t develop into anything. Chaos served noticed of his intent with Indestructible Drop and BOW OF DEFEAT (x2) all within the first 5 moves. Terminus just about survives these. He quickly realises he’s getting creamed and won’t last long against Chaos in this form. Bails out the ring, picks up a chair and takes a swing at Chaos who had decided to follow him. Reluctantly the ref calls the DQ. No way he could ignore such a blatant act. Chaos was angry and wanted to continue the fight even though he was being threatened with a weapon. A few times he pushed Star Warrior away who was trying to get him to back down and leave. Thantos rose in the gallery. More in hope that Chaos shoving at Star Warrior would develop into something. He has to sit back down disappointed as Chaos eventually decides to listen to Star Warrior. It made sense to avert major injury. Terminus looked very motivated to do some damage.
CPC Cruiserweight champ, Dreggs, sees off the challenge of Lycosa. The long run of Dreggs with the Cruiserweight belt continues to be a great source of irritation to not only the CPC but also Sleeze. Without this distraction Twin Blood would surely be even more successful than they’ve been. Of course Sleeze wouldn’t dare suggest Dreggs just give the belt up. All he can do is hope. Unfortunately the wait seems set to go on. Dreggs survives this test as well. His dominant start was pegged back by Lycosa and it did look BLACK WIDOW’S BITE made things a little precarious. Then Dreggs uses that as a wake up call. Showing Lycosa he’s not the only one capable of dazzling moves with a Maxus Moonsault demonstrating that. Soon he goes for DREGGS OF DEFEAT. The attempted distraction by Darkos was stifled by Johnny Rocker meaning Dreggs was able to get the win and take this reign past 37 cards. Still some way short of Prodigy’s record run of 58 but not betting against him reaching that mark of he continues in the same vein. If he gets close Prodigy, whose interest in the belt always wavers, is sure to come sniffing around the belt again to try and stop that happening.
CPC ladies champ, Supernova, loses to Anaxis by DQ. With the GWF ladies belt gone from her grasp Supernova shows more desire to keep a hold of this one. Her promo is pretty pumped up “doesn’t matter if it’s a GWF or CPC belt I’m not letting it go lightly. Anaxis is going down tonight. I never get tired of beating her”. The frenzied opening is exactly as promised. Anaxis cannot get a foothold. Within just 3 minutes she’s been done with SPEED OF LIGHT twice. Both times she avoids defeat. Second time a bit fortuitously as ref broke the count after seeing Anaxis foot on the ropes. Not through her own movement. She just landed this way. Supernova decides she’s tired of being all sweet and nice. Her friendship with Amazonia has taught her to be tougher. The fact she has always despised Anaxis also helped. So outside the action goes and Anaxis gets her face planted right into the announcer’s table. Then gets pulled up by the hair and smashed again for good measure. Supernova hears the DQ and giggles quietly to herself “that felt good”. Commissioner Grogan considered such an act from a lady unacceptable and almost made a rash decision to strip Supernova of the belt. Word is Thantos undermined him with an intervention. The reasons for keeping the belt on Supernova not entirely clear.
Mayhem crushed Spike in a Castor Chain match. No telling how long Spike’s comeback as a Gladiator will be lasting. He could be back in Aethra next year. No answers coming out the Gladiator camp. Just in case the CPC wanted to make sure these huge enemies met again and to spice it up they make it a chain match. Spike more than happy to oblige. Mayhem wanted to use his own chain. The technology doesn’t allow for third party chains to be used and despite Mayhem’s arguing it isn’t allowed. The VIP gallery grows impatient. Even though Spike is an enemy of CPC they look relieved when he smashes Mayhem from the side to get things rolling. It’s all about the show for Colby and Pelf and this action rescued the match. Mayhem responds to this attack with ferocious desire. He is determined to remind Aethra of what they are missing. In fact he completely forgets to even use the chain. Spike just can’t handle him. Barely a couple minutes gone and DANGER ZONE was inflicted. It then got worse as Mayhem hit the feared LEAP OF DOOM. At +5 it’s an almost perfect impact and Spike was pinned. Only in victory does Mayhem use the weapon at his disposal as he raps the chain around Spike’s body and throws him violently into a turnbuckle for a juddering impact. Maybe he let Spike off the hook as no further damage was inflicted. The veteran Gladiator will surely shelve any retirement plans now. He won’t want to go out on that note and will be seeking revenge.
Draconian Sheik annihilated Janus. Bit of a sideshow to this. Janus arrives in his personal dressing room ahead of the match only to find some of his stuff vandalised. He is a bit of a trophy hoarder and regularly adorns his space with replicas of belts that he has won during his career. Only tonight many of them are damaged. Bits broken off and parts of the leather chewed. As soon Drac is led out by the Terrorists Janus wants some answers. Getting nowhere due to an apparent language barrier. Janus then points an accusing finger at Drac which just gets bitten. Little did Janus know that Drac was assisted in the ransacking of his room by his own employers. They wanted to inject a storyline and gave the Terrorists a skeleton key in which to enter Janus’s quarters. Janus managed to force a release of his throbbing finger with a knee straight to Drac’s groin. Even a savage feels pain where the nether regions are concerned. Trouble was it didn’t keep him grounded for long and Janus made the mistake of turning his back to insult the Terrorists. They could see Drac recovering with a sharp object now in his grasp. So they just stood there and let Janus rant knowing full well what was coming. Suddenly Janus gets carved up and he receives no referee protection. He suffers several minutes of torture before succumbing to DRACONIAN BACKBREAKER. It was shockingly easy and not far off being labelled as a total squash.
Desolation Factor beats Lower World by DQ. Erebus got destroyed in this one. A legacy of RACKED AND RUINED twice. One survived through a remarkable kick out and the latter due to Maleph’s intervention. The winged demon got swatted for that. Death’s Head managed to get into the ring and was effectively on his own. He doesn’t crumble though and takes the fight to both members of Desolation Factor. Even startling Rack with FUNERAL MARCH. In his next move he hauls the behemoth out of the ring. Showing surprise strength despite his skeletal frame to throw Rack into the ring post. Despite the DQ he delights at the move which leaves Rack hurt and unable to fightback. Ruin tried to steamroll Death’s Head from behind after that but tripped over Erebus who was in a heap on the floor. That sent Ruin crashing into tables and almost took out his own manager, Doomsayer. Comical.
Velar pinned Ms. Liberty. The brave Ms. Liberty continues her ring comeback with a second match of the month. Commander Sam, her pillar of strength, is again accompanying. It’s an improved performance from Ms. Liberty but another loss. She’d accumulated 5 tokens before she was finally beaten. That was after Velar executed HAMMERLOCK SLAM for the third time in the match.

CARD 1056 – GANYMEDE STADIUM:
The two big titles switch hands on the very last show of the year. Quite a way to end it!
Pegasus defeated Vengeance to win the Heavyweight belt. A chance for Pegasus to end the year on a high. It’s not been vintage from him this year but somehow he’s still got himself a title shot to close it out. Vengeance plans to make him regret sticking his nose back into the title picture “you thought dealing with the CPC was bad but nothing is more dangerous than a Gladiator, especially one who is an ex-convict like me”. Vengeance then starts like a man possessed. Within a matter of minutes he inflicts HELTER SKELTER twice. On the second one Star Warrior casts off the goody two shoes image to make a successful distraction and keep Pegasus in it. His justification was that Thrash had already been interfering earlier on. Pegasus is able to recover from these assaults and finally gets into a rhythm. It’s much more like it from him. He goes onto win after a Tomahawk Thrust knocked Vengeance silly. Thrash might be in hot water for not storming the ring and doing her job. Maybe the Gladiators should of also tried gang interference. Trouble was Vengeance was expected to kick out of that move no problem. The low roll caught everyone out (including me). Of course Vengeance on his recovering isn’t happy and tries to gouge Pegasus whilst shouting “nobody steals from the Gladiators”. Pegasus with the help of Star Warrior just about fends both Vengeance and Thrash off. They both leave whilst shouting insults all the way. I am already thinking Vengeance, as the star performer of the year, should get a rematch as soon as 2109 rolls around. Pegasus has been mega lucky to end in this position. Many other guys suffered wavering form or were caught up with other things which opened a path. The Code Enforcer based on form probably should of been the one getting the shot but I am purposely keeping him away from the GWF belt picture at the moment.
Twin Blood finally realise their potential to beat the Ninja Assassins and win the tag belts. A feud between these two top teams was always ready. It just needed a spark. They did cross paths a couple of months ago. A messy DQ which served as a mere appetiser to this meeting. Darkos remembers that night and warns Twin Blood against using Johnny Rocket’s microphone as a weapon again “if you come at us with it again, my Ninja Assassins will come back at you with weapons too. Only worse. How would you like a nunchuck wrapped around your neck?”. Bold words but his Ninja Assassins didn’t back it up. Although it was quite a long match Twin Blood were always the better team. As the intensity of Twin Blood’s offence ramped up Darkos tried to throw the match by storming the ring. The ref wasn’t rash in calling a DQ. He knew that was what Darkos wanted so instead ordered his ejection from ringside. Darkos didn’t move a muscle. Stood in defiance. Only for the ref to convey a message to the announcer that if he didn’t leave within 60 seconds then the match would be awarded to Twin Blood by forfeit. The wording here so important as current GWF rules designate a title can switch hands on such a decision pending ratification by the Commissioners. Amid much goading from his opposite manager, Johnny Rocket, he reluctantly leaves. All Darkos could now was hope the Ninja Assassins stepped up their game. Only they didn’t, just got worse. Hydrax, in particular, getting creamed. He was already on 5 tokens when falling victim to SEEING DOUBLE. Daeman’s pin save attempt got him all caught up with the ref allowing some extra double teaming from Twin Blood to increase the move’s effectiveness. Hydrax easily pinned after that. So Twin Blood win the tag belts. From the moment they got together they’d been predicted to become future champs. For Dreggs it completes an incredible year of success.
Battle Corps upset Alpha Power by count-out. This is really not how Star Warrior envisaged his superstar tag team ending the year. In a side feud with the ageing Battle Corps. Alpha Power are strong candidates for disappointment of the year. At least all the nonsense relating to Chaos and the CPC Interstellar belt has died down. They badly wanted to end on a winning note but suffered another malfunction. After a strong dominating start they were attempting to finish Dreadnaught off with ALPHA POWER COMBO. Incomprehensibly Chaos allows Soldier of Fortune to distract. In going after him was counted-out. Alpha Force wasn’t too supportive of his teammate after this. In an interview asking what went wrong he simply said “no flies on me, I’m not the one who got counted-out”. Will they continue as a team in 2109? It will be an anxious wait to see how it pans out.
Gila beats Vanity. This was Vanity’s last match. He is disgusted that he isn’t honoured with a high profile bout against someone like Pegasus or even a Gladiator. He moans “instead I have to wrestle a disgusting associate of Terak’s”. Gila is a being of great honour these days and refuses to have anyone at ringside so Vanity can have a clean match. That sentiment not returned as Vanity brings Cassandra with him. She nearly assists him to a 2 move victory with LADIES CHECK. Gila just about evades that humiliation nearly wins quick himself with GUT CHECK following his avoidance of Vanity’s deathjump. It becomes entertaining in a way sometimes undercarders can provide. Lots of mistakes making things dramatic. Ultimately Gila makes at unhappy last outing for Vanity with a Predator Pounce getting the job done. Almost felt sorry for Vanity as he trudges away afterwards. No showboating or anything. Just a silent walk.
Lance At-Las pinned US. Traitor. Lance keen to end on a high. His much awaited comeback has not gone to plan. Can only get better. Maelstrom adds his disturbing presence to proceedings. However Lance probably wrestles his best match since returning. Not needing much more than a few minutes to win with a flying head scissors. That was mere moments after Maelstrom had foiled him winning via MARS MANHANDLER. Lance fought him off efficiently and got on with the job. Lance almost paid for victory with a lottery attack. Splatter and Vyper began lurking menacingly ready to attack. Luckily the security got a tip off and about a dozen of them intercepted.
Pollux over Mutant by DQ. Could of been an interesting opener. However it descends into a mess. The crowd looks bored out their skulls as these two grapple. One fan thought it would be funny to throw his milkshake over Pollux as he came close. Showering him in liquid. The malnourished Mutant gets excited at the sight of any kind of food or drink and starts trying to consume Pollux. The ref sees the biting and calls a DQ. Pollux doesn’t celebrate his rate victory. Instead he disappears like a rat up a drainpipe. No way he’s being someone’s meal. Spacebook saw some funny posts being shared in the following days. Someone had mocked up several pictures of Pollux dressed as food items. The Pollux hot dog with him covered in ketchup, or maybe it was blood, was particularly popular.

Latest News:
Title changes galore! Pegasus shrugs off all his recent bad form to win the Heavyweight title in what was the biggest news of the month. So he ends the year as he started it by holding the belt. It caused some rumblings as some wrestlers think he shouldn’t of been getting a title shot in the first place. Can he go on now to have a better year in 2109 and build a solid reign? Just a few stats. This is the fourth time he’s won the belt. Although the first time isn’t in the books officially as he failed to make a single defence. However when he does hold the belt he usually keeps it for a while. He has one of the longest reigns in history at 57 cards long (that’s well over a year). His most recent one was also long as that clocked in at 40 cards.
Remarkably just a month after being beaten up by his team Tough Guy is back to being a Hitman. In a bizarre interview he said “they beat some sense into me. I must admit when I arrived in this timeline I wasn’t focused. Distracted by too many things and doing lots of sightseeing (more like drinking). Now it is time to knuckle down”.
Great to see Ms. Liberty return to action. She even got some cheers at Pelf Palace in the penultimate card of the year. Despite two comeback losses she says things are looking good and she’s feeling shipshape. Also praises Commander Sam for being a father figure.
Prodigy, as expected, is back to eyeing up the Cruiserweight belt. Doesn’t want Dreggs to threaten his record reign. He is always in favour in the CPC and they obligingly name him top contender. In fact he can complete a Cruiserweight double by adding the GWF version. He had been demanding a rematch against Skinhead for the IP belt. The Commissioners say no but a shot at the Cruiserweight belt is offered instead. Liking the idea of two belts Prodigy agrees to the compromise.
All is now good in the GWF and business is booming. In a brief review of the year it must be said one of the biggest moments in the fed war was when Wolf went off the rails and quit wrestling for a couple of months. The CPC were then claiming to of have signed him. GWF claimed he still belonged in their fed. Would he return? Where would he end up? Thankfully showed up at a GWF card and the galaxy got behind him. The GWF seemed to gather substantial momentum from that point on. Johnny Rocket actually won the most popular of the year award for his part in saving the GWF and also building bridges with guys his team has traditionally been at odds with. Deep down he is still an arrogant, cheating scallywag but he deserves his moment in the lights. Strangely despite all that the Champions team misfired. The shining beacons of the GWF didn’t have their greatest spell. Not a productive year in terms of belt gold even if Pegasus did manage to grab the Heavyweight belt on the last show. They also came up short in TEAM SUPREME too. Seems that trophy is set to always elude them. Instead it was the FDF that came through in that event. A great moment for Commander Sam who piloted his small team brilliantly. Garnering unexpected success all year long. As good as things are for the GWF you never know what the forthcoming press conferences will bring. There could be all sorts of hidden dangers. Also the CPC did bounce back in recent months as they reclaimed various titles. The organisation looks far from dead and buried.
End of year awards see some interesting choices. Johnny Rocket as most popular is the big eye opener. There was deserved acknowledgment of Commander Sam as he scooped the manager award as well as being seen as the greatest inspiration. He led the FDF to heights not expected of them. Sam readily admits “it’s been my best ever year even including my wrestling days”. Although that joy is tempered by the hurtful betrayal of US. Patriot. That’s left a scar that may never heal. Maybe it was intentional but the CPC was frozen out of the awards. They claim corruption of course but GWI, who are responsible for the awards, is an independent body from the GWF. They perhaps could of awarded the Code Enforcer but because they are seen as two separate entities they refused to consider for wrestler of the year. Although they do get recognised as best newcomer. I suppose that’s because either one of them on their own could of won this. That’s how good they both were. Nice to see Dreadnaught getting an award. He’s pretty kranky in his old age but his refusal to accept his body is breaking down and keep wrestling has won him some admirers. Honorable mentions must go to Amazonia who was an incredible women’s champion in the GWF this year, Terminus for his recent MVP plus vice like grip on the CPC Interstellar belt and also Dreggs for his achievements both in tag teaming and the cruiserweight division. However the big winners were Vengeance and Rebel Empire. Considering the pressure Vengeance is under from Aethra with the likes of Massacre and Brute lurking this was a real statement from him. Although he has just gone and dropped the GWF Heavyweight title so could now be at the beginning of a slump. If there was a team of the year award it would have to go to the Colonizers. They were at the forefront of many things with the only down point being their early elimination at TEAM SUPREME. They are expected to big players again in 2109. Bring it on!
INJURED – none; SUSPENDED – Skinhead (3), Brainstorm (3)
WRESTLER OF THE MONTH:
TERMINUS - MVP award at Team Supreme speaks for itself. Also he may of lost to Chaos but succeeded in keeping the CPC Interstellar belt out of his hands. Something many GWF fans will of appreciated. Should now be looking to come out of the shadow of other Penthouse Suite members.
TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH:
DESOLATION FACTOR - Although their match against Lower World was comical it was still a win and the way they destroyed Royal Flush was significant given the form that team then showed. Can the biggest letdowns in fed history now finally kick into gear next year?
GWI - End of Year Awards
WRESTLER OF THE YEAR – Vengeance (runner up: Mandrill) TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR – Rebel Empire (runners up: Royal Flush) MANAGER OF THE YEAR – Commander Sam (runner up: Johnny Rocket) MOST POPULAR –Johnny Rocket (runner up: Wolf) MOST HATED – Paragon (runner up: Mandrill) MOST INSPIRATIONAL – Commander Sam (runner up: Dreadnaught) BEST NEWCOMER(S) – Code Enforcer (runner up: Maelstrom) BEST FEUD – Code Enforcer-CPC (runner up: Twin Blood-Disorder X) BEST MATCH – Wolf-Paragon #1042 (runner up: Amazonia-Supernova #1053)

2109 THE END - HANDBOOK HIGHLIGHTS
PRESS CONFERENCES:
CPC AND GWF OFFICIALLY BECOME SEPERATE ENTITIES
The court has forced wrestlers to sign contracts with one of these organisations but not both. So wrestlers cannot compete at GWF venues and Pelf Palace anymore. This has effectively ended the fed war. Magnus Colby has stated the CPC will maintain a presence in the GWF by having a ‘Team CPC’ compete. Thantos will be the manager. Each year the members will change according to the needs of the fed. 25 guys have decided to sign with the CPC. Some that have stayed in the GWF were holding belts in the CPC. Only Terminus is left on the CPC roster now. Karah, who was GWF Cruiserweight champion, has decided to move with the entire Savage Kingdom into the CPC. This has caused a bit of chaos and it is assumed these titles are now vacant and will be filled via tournaments. CPC is affected worst as most of its belts were held by GWF guys. I suppose they can see it as wiping the slate clean. However there are bigger things to worry about now. Read on …
CORDANUS ATTEMPTING TO BAN WRESTLING
After an inkling this was coming the first press conference confirmed it. UFSP President Cordanus blames wrestling for being the source of aggression throughout the cosmos. Aethran attacks in particular cited as them gaining confidence from their dominance in the GWF. They are using it as a catalyst to start their bullying again including attacking the home of the president, Mensa. There are also growing tensions between Earth and Cygnus as well as violence taking place on Omicron. He announces as a solution he will seek to ban wrestling. Every card will be policed. So at short notice cards could get cancelled or certain wrestlers prevented from appearing. This causes uproar. Omega says he is resigning from his co-commissioner position to enter politics and try to fight this threat to the sport he loves. Morpheus will soldier on alone as the commissioner now.
FDF-CODE DESTROYERS
Sam means business as he returns to his more intense Commando Sam image. His team line up is shocking. Out come both Code Enforcers (confirming the worst kept secret in history), Defender of the Realm and Desolation Factor. All talking points. Defender reveals Jack of Diamonds wants to try his hand in the CPC. He is still wrapped in the imposter battle with Mad Jester. Maybe still a ticking time bomb there. Desolation Factor reveal they used Doomsayer and are ready to help Sam deal with all the outlaws in the GWF. Of course biggest news is the Code Enforcers. The smaller one’s identity is not revealed. However the larger one unmasks. It was Manslaughter. He unmasks again to reveal his true facial features. He has words for Darkos. Then humbly thanks the Commissioners Omega and Morpheus for the part they played in his training and huge improvements he has made. Sam looks to end the press conference by reciting the Galactic code which he believes in so passionately. Suddenly Doomsayer interrupted the press conference. Using a beam of light on his chest plate to induce a kind of paralysis on the FDF. His latest Transevolver victim is revealed as Pollux. Now an intimidating two headed monster called Nth Degree. He will form a dangerous new tag team with Monad called Transformer. Then Mad Jester comes out. His story is told. That he is clone of the original Mad Jester hatched in the lab by Doomsayer. That’s not all as the shocks keep coming. Darkos brings the Ninja Assassins into Doomsayer’s team having apparently blown off Enigma and Lycosa. The paralysis was wearing off by the time the big reveals had finished. It gave Doomsayer enough time to say his piece. Desolation Factor stumbles to their feet and grab some tables ready to begin all out war there and then. However Doomsayer smartly calls his team away. His work was done.
GLADIATORS OF AETHRA
The Gladiators are one of the groups being blamed for stirring up trouble with the UFSP. It doesn’t make them popular with Johnny Rocket who was trying to interview them. The presence of Brute will be felt more than ever this year as he will manage them from ringside. Mayhem also returns to the team. Initially they argue amongst themselves with such moves not being welcomed by Malice. Vengeance also raises the heckles of both Spike and Mayhem. The infighting ends when a holographic image of Commando Sam appears and demands they obey the Galactic code. They now unite against him and vow to continue their domination of the GWF just like Aethra will continue dominating the known cosmos.
TEAM CPC & COLONIZERS
Hastily arranged by Thantos and Mandrill. That toad Qualitar was even with them. Thantos claims GWF didn’t beat CPC in the fed war fairly. Instead relying on the courts. His aim is to use Team CPC to continue to show the fed’s authority. Qualitar was bragging the CPC brand is still superior having lured big names like Raven and Terminus and securing major new signings like Holocaust and Vector One. However Qualitar is soon pushed into the background so Thantos and Mandrill can confirm a shock alliance. Johnny Rocket is so disgusted he says he will leave the villain team. Not that they give a sh*t. Each had their own groundbreaking announcement. Thantos brought forward a young man. He is Bloodline and is the youngest son of Omega. He has been wrestling under a mask in other organisations to prepare for this moment. Thantos has got into his head and Bloodline is angry and feels neglected. His father and brothers will pay. Just as everyone was reeling from that Mandrill announces another defection. I suppose not totally expected given his twitchy behaviour last year. Wraith crystallises into view. He didn’t have long in the spotlight as Commando Sam does the hologram thing again to warn the two teams that the FDF will stand up against them as their unholy alliance goes against the code. They respond with gestures of vulgarity. Sam’s final word is to challenge them to face his team in a series of Hardcore Battlezone matches over the coming year.
THE CHAMPIONS
After a difficult 2108 and hoping for better this year we already have a very solemn start for the team. Star Warrior is deeply distressed by Bloodline turning his back on the family. He needs consoling from Alpha Force and Lance At-Las. Alpha Force says Nebula (the real name of Bloodline) is old enough to make his own decisions and must pay for them.
THE ROCKETMEN
The last press conference and it showcases how Sonora Pelf has left Magnus Colby (still calling him by his pet name of Maggie only now it’s meant demeaningly) to join Johnny Rocket. She has shortened her name as Sonora sounded too stuffy. We are wondering if they are in item judging by the way she kissed him. Qualitar is raging that she’s pulled such a stunt and calls her a gold digger.
MAGNUS COLBY
Colby is not allowed a press conference so he delivers a video message. Childish behaviour as he announces the renaming of Planet Pelf to Planet Colby. Worse is that he opens a briefcase full of money and offers teams to take on and dismantle the Rocketmen. Any embarrassment caused to his ex-wife will receive extra appreciations. Deep down Johnny Rocket is a little worried about being a marked man. Also can he really trust Nora Pelf?
TEAM NEWS:
THE CHAMPIONS - Amid the distress of Bloodline showing up on the side of Thantos this team must regroup. They suffered a blow when Matador asked to leave. Mutually an agreement was made. Trouble was Matador couldn’t settle in a team with Chaos and his form suffered but just where might he end up? Will be an asset wherever he goes. However there are a couple of boosts. First that Chaos isn’t going anywhere. In fact he recognises last year wasn’t good enough from Alpha Power and is determined to deliver the tag belts this year. Secondly is the signing of Enigma. Darkos sacking him is baloney. Enigma reveals Darkos sent him a contract which he just ripped up. Enigma believes he can better himself and wants to be in a top team. His new high risk finisher will have people out of their seats. But is he just out for himself? The Champions need team players. Anyway they all need to deliver more this year. Or else Star Warrior might just buckle under too much stress. Would hate him to become Avenging Warrior again!
TEAM CPC - Thantos is more driven than ever for success and also bringing hurt and suffering to Omega’s family. He aims to achieve it with the cream of the CPC. Amazingly Terminus and Janus are the only ones from the Penthouse Suite left behind. Wondering whether that was entirely their choice. However something had to give to make way for Bloodline (and Paragon's huge ego). It’s the ultimate dagger in the heart of Omega and Thantos loves it. Bloodline is potentially going to be a major player. He has observed his own family close hand and the talent is in the genes. Then he has been taught many tricks by Thantos. Never more evident than in his finishers which have best of both worlds. Firstly CETUS MASTERLOCK and then there’s BLOODLINE’S BIG BANG complete with all the same risks that his brother Star Warrior had when performing the move. Despite Bloodline being on the team Paragon is still the main man and aims to dominate the GWF Heavyweight belt just like he did the CPC belt. He has voluntarily abdicated that title by being in the GWF as he was the sitting champ. Kind of a shame as with Vector One now entering the CPC that would of produced some incredible matches. The supporting cast on the team are Heracles, Colussus and Prodigy. Matches between Prodigy and Enigma have the potential to be classics. Let’s not forget the women. Supernova and Anaxis will continue their long running feud. Supernova is predicting a boom in women’s wrestling with rumours of newcomers coming in.
GLADIATORS OF AETHRA - They are looking more powerful than ever as Mayhem returns. However the motives of Massacre are unclear at this stage. All we do know is that his bringing Brute out into a more involved manager role makes them more dangerous. Brute could crush any other manager and will not be shy about storming the ring. Amid all this Vengeance feels paranoid. He’s no longer seen as the leader. Even though he is a hero on Aethra it is the Gladiator legends who are held in the highest esteem. If push comes to shove would he win a war against them? His future is far from set in stone. There are split loyalties among the other Gladiators. Even Thunder and Overkill are pulling in different directions. Also why did they bring Mayhem back in? Perhaps the Gladiators are feeling lonely as they wage wars on just about anything that moves. A weak emotion in their society but they are human after all. Could easily go one of two ways this year. Total domination or another civil war. Or maybe Cordanus and his goons will successfully stifle them.
FDF - Commando Sam has declared war on the entire villain team. It shows incredible guts and he might just have the cast to do it. The Code Enforcers are his main guys but don’t discount the importance of the others. Desolation Factor could be ready to realise their potential with Sam leading them. He may of struck gold by signing them up. Whilst Defender of the Realm, on his day, is as good as anyone. He actually feels relieved he knows the true origins of the imposter Mad Jester even though it means battling a part of himself that he loathes. In fact Defender has another enemy to deal with after drawing the ire of US. Traitor. This is because he is rumoured to be dating Ms. Liberty. She is building herself a new life and is proud to be part of the team. Often when people think of the hero team they immediately think of the Champions team but times are changing. The FDF are now the team most people consider the top team. Funny how things come around. It’s like 2087 all over again with the FDF leading the charge.
CODE DESTROYERS - You can’t keep Doomsayer quiet. He was angry Desolation Factor defected so he turned up the juice on the Transevolver and created Nth Degree from Pollux and now has another monster tag team on his hands. He is confident he can silence Commando Sam’s code rantings. He doesn’t even care that the legalities of cloning Mad Jester are under the microscope and could even end up standing trial. To ensure he wins he has allied with Darkos. However we all know who the true leader is. Darkos just managed to get off a sinking ship as both Enigma and Lycosa deserted him. It’s surprising he kept hold of a quality tag team like the Ninja Assassins. They actually start the year as top contenders to the tag belts having only just been dethroned. An immediate chance to win them back and give Doomsayer GWF gold. What a start that could be. A side feud for Doomsayer’s team to contend with could be the Centaurians. Going back to the cloning issue as Doomsayer brags he could potentially clone Crossfire and bring him back to life. Obviously something that team is very sensitive about.
THE COLONIZERS - Mandrill’s alliance with Thantos has turned plenty of heads. That’s a pretty formidable villain team if the Colonizers and Team CPC are working together. But will Mandrill eventually turn on Thantos like he did with Chaos? He doesn’t like sharing power. He has already got usual enemies Genesis reeling by convincing Wraith to crossover. Wraith had become frustrated on the Genesis team so it didn’t take much convincing. Notably Wraith’s mutant powers are weakening. He is no longer able to turn invisible. The best he can manage is a translucent state although it is still disorienting for opponents to deal with him like that. The other guys are all still doing their usual jobs with Rebel Empire focused on tag gold and Painmaster being told to capture the IP belt again. Sentry obediently guards the team although he wants to return to the ring. Something Mandrill has promised will happen soon.
GENESIS - Dark times. Wraith has defected and Vertigo is also really struggling to control Genocide. In fact Buck seems to be in that form most of the time even though he still always starts his matches as himself. Vertigo is well aware Genocide is just the type of guy President Cordanus will be seeking to have banned from the GWF. Max Shield now has a feud he never wanted. Facing his old friend Wraith. It’s an incredible feud of the future pitting Max’s force field against Wraith’s powers of transparency. Max knows he has got to step it up. He is the ultimate underachiever in fed history. Not too much to say about the team other than those points.
BRYMSTONE BURNING - Maleph is flaunting the code by bringing in a new and even more disgusting wrestler called Tortured Soul. He claims he is loyal to Mandrill. But can anyone trust the Brymstonians to stay loyal to anyone? For sure the likes of Blazing Skull and Anarchy are going to be tested to the max with Wolf and the improving Blade on their tails. Of course the biggest shocker is the appearance of Tortured Soul. He is actually a dead warrior. The reason for his current physical manifestation only known to inhabitants of Brymstone. In the past he was known as Vulcepa and actually fought alongside Archon in the Centaurus-Brymstone war before Archon entered the GWF. He suddenly disappeared in 2108. Assumed to of been killed or taken hostage on Brymstone. As it turned out he did die but has now been resurrected. He acts like a zombie and is slow in the ring but also very hard to hurt. His finisher ROTTING CLAW might just be the sickest one in GWF history. It’s clear that this is just the sort of guy the fed could do without showing up with Cordanus looking for excuses all over the place to push his ban plans through.
THE CENTAURIANS - What a boost to have Wolf joining their team even though Archon is understandably wary. Of course nobody expects him to hang around for long given his penchant for moving on. In fact his next stop could be a return to Genesis as he fondly remembers his time on the team and really liked being around Genocide. For now Wolf is a Centaurian. Largely down to Amazonia who sees the Warrior-like Lorelei as a kindred spirit and has become good friends with her. Hardcore battles aplenty ahead as Wolf goes head to head with twisted individuals on the Brymstone team. Hope Archon has the stomach for it all. Blade certainly does. He has upped his game and those that have seen him in dark matches recently are reporting a radical improvement in his wrestling abilities with his finisher getting more deadly albeit with added risk.
THE ROCKETMEN - Johnny has won a moral victory over the CPC. Years ago he was left frustrated Paragon snubbed him to join CPC. Now he has the last laugh as Nora Pelf joins his team leaving Magnus Colby angry and after revenge. He also has arguably the most talented tag team on his books in the form of the current champs, Twin Blood. Plus Skinhead is the current IP champ. However it’s not all bed of roses as Brainstorm has left the team and Johnny is aware he is a marked man. He is concerned Colby will even pay the Hitmen to go after him. Also can he really trust Nora Pelf? Nobody saw her turn coming. Maybe she is using Johnny or maybe she really was impressed with him. She plans to try her hand at wrestling too to bolster the women’s division. Having trained hard in the past few months in secrecy she feels ready. Her first tests will be against Maxine Babe. Should be interesting.
THE BOUNTY HUNTERS - Mace is heading this new team up. There are no managers as Mace doesn’t want anyone cramping their style. He doesn’t much like Grunge or Brainstorm but feels compelled to have them with him so he can cash in Magnus Colby’s ‘generosity’. Apparently the team will be paid for every victory they achieve over the Rocketmen with any additional damage done to members receiving adhoc bonuses. Brainstorm’s defection has brought him into conflict with Skinhead. Cleverly he sees this an opportunity to make a claim on the IP belt. Of course Maxine Babe still follows him everywhere so she is also on the team. Her silly games late last year rubbed everyone up the wrong way. She loves it though. Thrives on the attention.
FIGHTING TITANS - After many years feuding Lord Nexus has declared victory over the Masked Assassins now they are no more. He doesn’t bask in it though. New focus is to help Mutant and somehow convinced it onto his team. Trying to now forge a deal with Doomsayer to send it into the Transevolver and restore Montrol. Is it even possible? Naturally Krakan is furious and is gunning for Lord Nexus. Plus the Terrorists are after the Fighting Titans. So we now have an explosive 3 way feud. Plenty of opportunity for some more Triple Threat matches that proved so popular last year. It will be a big test for Rising Sun. Maybe his breakout year as a singles star. He certainly ended last year in a vein of rich form. Plus Titan Attack will hope to realise their huge potential. Many people think they are on the verge of greatness.
HITMEN FOR HIRE - Krakan almost fell over with laughing when Lord Nexus offered Mutant a spot on the Titans last year. But he’s not laughing anymore. He is now consumed by fury and is more determined than ever to crush the ‘scummy’ Titans. Of course the fact that attentions have diverted doesn’t mean the Terrorists have gone away. So they’ll have to deal with them too. Plus it is rumoured Magnus Colby wants to hire them for Hitmen jobs on the Rocketmen. Also Third Planet (Tough Guy and Mike Fortune) have a little extra feud with Cygnus Strikeforce going on due to their Earth origins. This is a lot to take on for a 3 man group. There could be more headaches ahead with Tough Guy too. He remains erratic despite taking a beating from his own team which apparently knocked some sense into him. It doesn’t help much that Tough Guy and Fortune aren’t fond of tag teaming. Both are more suited to singles wrestling than tag and only doing so because it’s what Krakan has ordered.
THE TERRORISTS - Whilst it’s impossible to verify it is assumed the identities of the Terrorists are Ghengis Khan and Marcel de Sade. Vigilante was rumoured to of tried to join the inner circle as a third Terrorist but was turned down. Anyway the main target of the team continues to be Krakan and the Hitmen. However they are also after the Fighting Titans now just because they’ve got themselves in the middle of the feud. Plus if de Sade and Khan are the Terrorists then they have history with the Titans anyway.
CYGNUS STRIKEFORCE - Look out Sam. Here comes your worst enemy from 30 years ago. Mangus is back and hellbent on causing pain to anyone with Earth links. He’s hatred stirred by incidents in 2108 when another war between Earth and Cygnus nearly broke out. Cygnus attacked a colony on Neptune which nearly killed Sectarian (remember him?) and caused damage to the Savage Kingdom. That might explain why Terak had difficulty with focus last year. Anyway Earth retaliated by attacking a planet in the Cygnus system. US. Traitor and Maelstrom even visited the ruins of the attack. Mangus immediately declared all out war in the GWF with his main goal being to humiliate Earthling with his Brand of Cygnus.
STATUS UPDATES:
Bounty Hunter is angry his name is being used in the GWF and threatens legal action. Or if that fails he might just have to come back and win it back himself. Now that would be really cool … Dragonmaster, as we all knew, is on commentary duties and already doing a great job … Dreadnaught continues to wrestle until he drops. He contacted Doomsayer to see if he could go through the Transevolver but is refused. Doomsayer doesn’t want a death on his hands and says “this time it could kill you” … Reynard B. Guile has ruffled a few feathers by returning to the GWF. Some think Commissioner Morpheus should of told him to sod off after the part he’s played in all the fed war grief. The mystery of where the Matador of M83 would end up is solved as B. Guile pulls off a major coup by signing him as his sole wrestler to manage. Will the Matador allow to be at ringside though? … Massif is still a big part of GWF shows and making himself available to referee. This is despite the villain wrestlers accuse him of hero bias. Maybe in the future he is set for a big role in GWF hierarchy. He has a lot of respect … Meteor has entered, at request of his friend Lance At-Las, drug rehab in a clinic on Crux. His wrestling future is unknown … Omega is running for public office to get a seat representing the Cetus system. Hoping it will help against anti-wrestling attitudes and save the GWF. He is also struggling emotionally to deal with the betrayal of his son, Nebula … Pulsar is officially retired and focused on family, charity and endorsements. Recently had a succesful op restoring full sight to his damaged eye … Soldier of Fortune is fed up with Dreadnaught and ‘dragging’ him down. He is now going solo although it’s expected he will retire at the end of the year … Talisman’s whereabouts remain unknown. He had something of a cult following so there are some that are disappointed. Perhaps even concerned … Theatre of Pain are a mysterious tag team that will still appear. Sometimes they’ll be managed by Johnny Rocket and sometimes they won’t. They remain respected as a top team capable of hanging with the best of them … Vigilante was rumoured to of tried to become a third Terrorist. Having been refused and possibly beaten is now distancing himself from wrestling. Occasionally spotted in the Camelapadolis system but hard to approach. He won’t be resurfacing anytime soon … Vanity retires a bitter man having failed to win back Maxine Babe. But you can’t keep a good showman down. He is embarking on an acting career and the GWF like his flair on the mic so a co-commentary role with Dragonmaster is on the cards. Should provide some fireworks as they bounce off each other.

GALACTICON BASH BIOS
Several of these guys are probably just passing through the GWF. I probably won't introduce them all straight away. They'll show up during the year as I don't fact Bash was released exactly same time as 2109. It came after it but before 2110. I think!
Animen Invasion (Antak and Son of Ram) – Enter as part of what they claim is a new ‘Animen Invasion’. Antak has some ant like qualities which should make him very powerful as ants are proportionally strong. However in his case the formula doesn’t quite work. Son of Ram claims he is the son of the legendary Battering Ram. However, in a wrestling mag interview Ram strongly denied this. “He is just calling himself my son to grab attention and take advantage of my name”. Son of Ram backtracked after these comments were published saying he never actually said he was a biological son but more a spiritual son. Whatever the case Son of Ram has made himself heard. Word is he is nowhere near the level of previous Animen and this duo we be nothing more than enhancement talent.
Sniper, Hunger, Serpentine – The ladies division just got a lot bigger. First, Sniper who is from CTA-102 and offered a spot on the Hitmen but refused saying she’s been in Krakan’s shadow too long. What does that mean and do they have history? Maybe Krakan is a ladies man on the quiet! Hunger and Serpentine are demonic women from Brymstone and often team as the Hellions. On Brymstone men and women don’t get along too well and simply co-exist. A perfect example of this is when Maleph was asked what he thought of them. He simply ignored the question and flew off. The Hellions want to face Feminine Fury in a feud and this could be a close call. If there is ever a woman’s tag championship created then they could be a contending team.
Sir Ender – The time is ripe for a new total loser in the traditions of guys like Astro Turk and Black Hole Bart. Someone to help make the big boys look good. Enter Sir Ender. In a comical interview he claimed he was joining the Royal Court until Johnny Rocket set him straight that they’d left the GWF for the CPC. Sir Ender backtracks and says he has been too busy training and saving damsels in distress to realise and will strike out on his own instead. Those who have seen or met him say he is touchy about his name and gets upset if anything calls him ‘Surrender’ instead of Sir Ender saying he will not have his family name besmirched. Inside the ring he has his share of problems. His ROYAL PAIN is more likely to hurt him than his opponent and he often misses. When he is about to dive off the buckle he makes a dramatic motion in the air which often leaves the fans in fits of laughter (which of course he hates). Sir Ender hails from Volans but the galaxy is trying to keep that a secret!
The Soulwatcher and Taechon – Coming from Earth the Soulwatcher is a man with amazing powers. He has travelled to the distant future to wrestle in the GWF. Not much is known of him other than he is deeply religious and sees his place as fighting for good against evil. Time travel has been hard on him though and his legendary powers have been reduced or eliminated. He intends to battle and overcome these shortcomings. He may have some interesting battles against other undercard wrestlers like Sir Ender and is favoured to have the edge in these level of bouts. Taechon is an interesting character coming from a planet without two sexes (how they reproduce is a mystery) and is free to fight in both the woman and men’s bracket. Taechon is more likely to (due to a lack of power) feature in matches against women. The style is largely based on martial arts action.
