Great stuff! Really enjoyed reading the latest cards from your fed. The whole Pit Viper thing is really nicely done. The Gladiators seem dominant for me too, anytime they drop the belts in this era it’s kind of surprising. Good to see Star Warrior having a healthy run as champ, he’s always been a favourite of mine.

CARD 1093 – DIONE SATURNDOME:
Not a peep out of the UFSP so it’s good that the card can get the full green light. Probably because there are no title matches and being such a minor card the reason.
Chaos crushed Heracles. Two legends of singles relive those times as they briefly breakaway from their tag responsibilities to wage war. There is still plenty of heat existing between them both. Heracles is his usual chauvinistic self and ordering Anaxis, who has just wrestled, to run errands and feed him grapes. That was until Chaos moved forwards and smashed the grapes in his face using the palm of the hand. Heracles wipes the juice off his face and spits directly back at Chaos. He is made to regret that action as Chaos destroys his ribs during the course of the contest. Clamping on with BOW OF DEFEAT an incredible 8 times. Heracles kept withstanding the crushing pressure but kept getting caught in the move. On the final one Chaos threw Heracles onto the floor and then trampled over him in a demeaning gesture. Anaxis entered the ring and weakly punched Chaos in the back. The big man turned around and picked her up in a press before dropping her right on top of Heracles. At least Heracles broke her fall.
Nora Pelf over Anaxis by DQ. Dangerous to look beyond an opponent like Anaxis but Nora’s mind will understandably be on her hair versus hair rematch with Maxine Babe. She has little time for Anaxis stalling getting the match underway. At one point yelling “put that stupid bowl down and let’s have this match”. Anaxis smiles and replies “alright, alright keep your hair on”. That causes Vanity on commentary to burst out in laughter although he does comment that he’d actually like to see his old flame Maxine Babe shaved bald so he’ll be supporting Nora on the night. Anyway Nora gets a morale boosting victory to take towards that. Although she was underdog she really took it to Anaxis and gave her some tough moments. Anaxis eventually showed her greater experience to wrestle control only to then fall foul of the referee for brawling in the outside. The ref is a known stickler for rules and branded the actions too unladylike to ignore.
Disorder X beats Third Planet by DQ. Although this was about the conflict between the Bounty Hunters and the Hitman this was also about two teams desperately trying to find some form. Especially Third Planet. They’ve had some bad recent results. Unfortunately another one here. A long battle goes into its final phase with Third Planet on top. Trouble is Tough Guy makes two deathjump errors. Both times Mace pounced on it with MACE’S LITTLE HELPER. Krakan gets Tough Guy out of jail with interference. However Tough Guy is hanging on now and decides to get out of the ring where a chair assault takes place. This brings about the DQ decision. Mike Fortune was frustrated and was heard talking to Krakan “what was he thinking? We could of won this”.
Thunder and Overkill obliterated Defender of the Realm and Code Enforcer Manslaughter but only earned a DQ victory. Was this wise booking the Defender and Jester in the same show but on separate matches that followed on? They inevitably clashed and Defender comes out here worse for wear. Not what you need going up against Gladiators. Defender becomes a plaything for the Gladiators. Manslaughter never gets a look in. During his few minutes cocooned in the ring he was subjected to DECAPITATOR twice and TURNBUCKLE TRAP twice. It was the former of those moves that caused most concern. First time it happened Commando Sam was on hand with a timely distraction. Second time though was the metaphorical throwing of the towel. Sam stormed the ring and picked the puny ref up whilst he counted the pin. He threw the poor chap across the ring full well knowing it would cause the DQ. However his action had ended the suffering of Defender and also saved face as he hadn’t been pinned. The Gladiators didn’t give a sh*t they’d been deprived a clean victory. They just viewed this as a warm up for facing Desolation Factor. Tune into THE MEGA SHOW in 3 cards time to see how this plays out.
Mad Jester inflicts a damaging defeat on Enigma. More dismay for Enigma as he tries to recover from the shock of losing the IP belt by taking on the unpredictable Jester. He has a bit of a nightmare as Jester largely dominates him. Enigma stands up to Jester’s finisher and Jagged Edge Standing Kick but when he gets snagged in A DEAD MAN’S VERSE again it is over.
Wraith over Blizzard by DQ. The traitorous turn of Wraith has not exactly pushed him into a pivotal role. Could be argued he’s worse off for it but Mandrill has obviously gotten so far into his head that he can’t see it. All he wants to do is beat his old friends regardless of whether it benefits his career. He manages that here. Both guys were determined and no sold each other’s finishers during the course of the bout. Then Blizzard brings about an abrupt ending as his questionable temper causes him to start attacking Sentry. Deemed an unnecessary act by the referee.

CARD 1094 – CASTOR TWIN TOWERS:
President Cordanus wakes from his slumber to ban the Gladiators. Not too much made of it. There was never any plan to book them as there are rumoured military parades taking place on Aethra over this weekend.
Ladies champ, Sniper, easily defended against Ms. Liberty. Sniper has been pretty popular since her arrival. She’s very mysterious but the fans have taken to her and are probably pleased to see someone other than Supernova, Thrash or Amazonia wearing the ladies belt. However for this one she has to take a backseat to Ms. Liberty’s popularity. No problem for Sniper though to slip into the heel role here. Ms. Liberty looks a little stressed though. She may well of crossed paths with US. Traitor at some point. Remembering that Cygnus Strikeforce had wrestled earlier. Whatever happened certainly became a factor as she got beaten very easily. Sniper kept hitting her with TARGET PRACTICE to continue her reign. It emerges afterwards the sickening incident that affected Ms. Liberty. Cygnus Strikeforce had managed to track her down in the bowels of the venue. Maybe they were ticked off by their failure to brand Scion Nexus earlier so they chose a weak target and got her instead. She was unable to escape their clutches and marked. Her wrestling leotard has hidden from this view in the match. However she was brave enough to be interviewed and showed her red and blistered skin to demonstrate what a scumbag her former husband has become. It doesn’t stop there as Sniper wins some admirers by offering Ms. Liberty a rematch on learning what took place “she was in no fit mental state to face me and deserves another chance”. Ball is in Commissioner Morpheus’s court now with regards this.
Grunge defeated Mike Fortune in a Hitman match. Neither guy looked enthralled to be saddled with this. A feud pushed by Krakan and Mace. No surprise the match stunk to high heaven. There wasn’t even anything interesting in the bag. Krakan had stuffed it mainly with straw although there were a couple of low value vouchers for the merchandise store in there too. Maybe the winner will buy a foam gun or guitar with them, lol. That lucky guy was Grunge. He was probably a shade more deserving and eventually used KILLER AIR GUITAR to incapacitate Mike Fortune long enough for him to climb the pole and grab the bag. A rummage inside revealed the disappointing contents. On viewing the vouchers he screwed his face, blew his nose on them and then tossed them into the crowd.
Millenium over Lethal Lottery by DQ. Perhaps there is camaraderie within Team CPC. Often very much individuals out for themselves. However Millenium challenge Lethal Lottery for what they tried to do to Prodigy. Heracles looks a little heavy though. A minor injury sustained last week against Chaos had sidelined from doing any activity much less any training in the past week. A few pounds have been put on. Maybe indulging in a few too many grapes during the rest period. He arrogantly says “I’m still the best wrestler in the GWF. It might just take me a couple weeks to get back to my fighting weight”. Thantos wisely kept away from ringside. He had no interest in tangling with the Terrorists. Guess the camaraderie doesn’t extend to the manager. Instead poor Anaxis had to walk that tightrope as Heracles insists on her accompaniment. She got through it unscathed but Heracles didn’t. After a few minutes back and forth he took THE SHREDDER a couple of times and then was launched out of the ring in a groggy state. The moment he hit that floor the Terrorists set upon him. They didn’t actually beat him too badly but it was enough to send a warning to Team CPC that they should forget about trying to avenge Prodigy’s lottery attack.
Cygnus Strikeforce overcomes Mutant and Scion Nexus. Although it lags behind the Earth-Cygnus animosity the Titan-Cygnus rivalry has been interesting. Mangus would love to brand them. He was little put out that it wasn’t Titan Attack. He doesn’t see Mutant with the same contempt as nobody truly knows what it is. It was wrestling because Ursa Major has been laid low with a bout of food poisoning. Had he made the mistake of visiting Cycle Hog’s restaurant on Scutum? Anyway the makeshift Titan team didn’t fare too well. Mutant was too confused to tag in it all. Scion carried the load. Looked like he might still pull it off. He survived CYGNUS STRIKEFORCE and starts a dynamic comeback. Not long after he has a chance to finish Maelstrom with THE RISE AND FALL but got pushed off. He never recovered from that and lost out to a catapult splash from US. Traitor. Luckily Scion didn’t get branded as Cygnus Strikeforce messes it up and Traitor gets marked instead. Not the first time they’ve fouled this up and the crowd loves it.
Mayhem beats Defender of the Realm with a dominant DQ victory. Mayhem is the outsider of the Gladiators. He’s getting the less profile matches and Brute rarely bothers to accompany him. The absence of Brute didn’t deter Commando Sam though. Although his relationship with Defender is a difficult one Sam sees the Gladiators as the worst among all the code breaking villains and will never make life easy for them. He manages to frustrate Mayhem with a crucial distraction after LEAP OF DOOM (+5). Defender would almost certainly of been pinned after that. In fact Defender got lucky against those moves as Mayhem had missed with it earlier in the match. Despite the let offs Defender cannot stem the tide. In a desperation he leaves the ring to get a break. Naturally Mayhem comes after him so Defender grabs his spear to ward him off. An act warranting a DQ if ever there was one. Mayhem isn’t stupid and backs off. He warns Defender he’ll be back to tear him limb from limb.
Painmaster labours to a win over Dreadnaught by count-out. Two guys very low down on the food chain open the show. As with all Dreadnaught matches these days medics are on standby. I thought they were going to be needed as the death chart had to be consulted twice. The second of which was one number away from tragedy. In between these two heart stopping moments Dreadnaught actually had some of the best offence he’s had in a long time and came close to scoring an upset. Ultimately the toll of the match told and Dreadnaught on ending up outside the ring collapses and is counted-out. Thankfully it is not serious as he recovers before the medics intervene and he lives to fight another day.

CARD 1095 – CASTOR TWIN TOWERS:
President Cordanus bans the Colonizers from appearing here. Citing that the people of Castor have friendships with the people of Omicron and that any Colonizer wrestling here will create unnecessary tension. Largely fabricated. Means Rebel Empire have the rug pulled out from under them again as the plan was to feature them.
Tag champs, Alpha Power, withstand the challenge of Ninja Assassins. Alpha Power have been brilliant as a team in recent months. Finally delivering on their superstar status and looking like unbeatable champs. However they are very wary of the Ninja Assassins who have crept back up the rankings. There was a rude shock though for their manager Darkos. Moments before curtain call Doomsayer says his services aren’t required for this match and instead accompanies the Ninjas. There were other problems as Alpha Force has been carrying a niggling injury and has to overcome the pain barrier to wrestle the match. It was either that or be stripped of the belts. Slow start as the Ninjas spend a bit of time striking martial arts poses to psych Alpha Power out. That was until Chaos casually walked over and wiped them out by smashing their heads together. Star Warrior claps Chaos for ending the boredom and then urges him to go for the jugular straight away. He’s mindful that if the match goes too long Alpha Force might struggle and become a liability. Chaos absolutely destroys Daeman in the opening minutes. However as Alpha Force is the initiator of their tag finisher he hands off to him to polish off in style. Alpha Force drops the baton and allows the Ninjas a path back into the match. There are hairy moments aplenty for the champs. It takes Chaos coming back in several minutes later to steady the ship. He managed to overpower both Ninjas again and there was nothing Daeman could do when he was clamped in BOW OF DEFEAT. He passed out in the powerful arms of Chaos. Hydrax tried to help free him but Alpha Force was able, despite his injury, to come in and stop him. Doomsayer despairs at the outcome. He was convinced his managerial guidance would tip the scales in favour of the Ninja Assassins. It had not been a good night for him with Transformer also losing earlier in the show.
Bloodline beats Max Shield by count-out in an unbelievable match. On the eve of the big meeting between Team CPC and Genesis at THE MEGA SHOW we have this mouth watering appetiser. Both guys not as in high in the rankings as they should probably be. A chance to change that now. It becomes a 5* classic. Max is like a man possessed in the first half. Bloodline manages to withstand MAXIMUM IMPACT several times during this dominant period. He then gradually works his way into things even though he has many tokens. His full repertoire is used to slow Max down with CETUS MASTERLOCK being deployed many times to do serious damage to Max’s legs. However much like his opponent Max refuses to give in and threatens several comebacks of his own. Finally Bloodline decides it’s time to take some risks if he wants to get it won. He goes for BLOODLINE’S BIG BANG. At +3 it’s a pretty meaty hit and makes the crowd gasp. Surely that was it only Max pulled off a stunning kickout at the last millisecond. He needed an unfeasibly dice roll to come off but it did. Bloodline is shocked but reacts to Thantos instructing him to keep up the pressure. Max is then blasted with an Avenger Cannon. He’s down again but near enough the ropes to roll under the bottom and fall outside. Some much needed recovery time. Vertigo tries to shield him from any advances from Thantos but it proves useless. Max is so done in he cannot muster a reentry to the ring and gets counted out. Brings down the curtain on an awesome match. Can Bloodline piggyback off this win? It was pretty impressive.
Splatter pinned Prodigy. Having said he wouldn’t take it further Prodigy now decides to fill his calendar (now he’s been passed over for a shot at the IP belt) by going after Lethal Lottery for trying to attack him. He’s already lost the support of his team after Heracles got savaged by the Terrorists. Thantos isn’t managing either as he’s busy prepping Bloodline for the next match up. At least that’s the excuse. The outcome was a Splatter victory which was tough on Prodigy as everything went against him. He was a sitting duck to various Terrorist attacks. He’d done brilliantly to survive both of Splatter’s finishers and rally. He might of won as he deployed THE PERFECT SINGLES FINISHER numerous times only to get chemical powder thrown in his eyes. There was no way back once that happened. Not too long after that vile incident Splatter nailed him with MEET ARSENAL again and got the pin. Splatter just got away with bloody murder in this one.
Twin Blood over Transformer by DQ. Two teams floundering in terms of form. Both respective managers hoping their team would grab this match by the horns and kickstart a run back towards to the top of tag tree. The fans always tremble when Transformer come out and it’s no exception in this part of the cosmos. They have a monstrous look that belies their actual success in the ring. Plays chaotic. Literally every possible finisher was used as the balance swung back and forth. Managers and tag partners pivotal in breaking up pins and in some instances doing enough damage to swing things in that very moment. I suppose a DQ ending was sufficient. With all the interferences both teams should have been disqualified many times over. Monad became the fall guy as he leaves the ring having been floored with a Catapult Smash. Dreggs made the mistake of pursuing and found himself flung into tables for doing so.
Paragon defeated Soldier of Fortune. Paragon was looking for someone to knock around ahead of his big lock up with Pegasus. It isn’t as easy as anticipated and he suffers a huge scare when SOF used THE REVENGER on him. Paragon kicked out pretty fast though and manages to gradually assert superiority. He wins via FINAL OVERTURE. Very few survive this if he gets this applied and SOF is no exception.
Taechon upsets Amazonia. Been a while since we’ve seen the gender neutral Taechon. Not many women want to take her on. Even after seeing Taechon lose. The manga styled look of Taechon seems strangely unsettling too. Maybe it got into Amazonia’s head too for she has a shocker. No rhythm. Many times she was within a whisker of losing especially after CONTACT POINT. With so many let offs it was assumed she’d eventually click into gear but it never happened. Taechon was finally able to finish her with a suicide dive.

Awesome card. The battle between Bloodline and Max Shield read as an absolute classic.

CARD 1096 – THE MEGA SHOW – DEIMOS INTERGALACTIC ARENA:
Lots of working behind the scenes by President Cordanus to disrupt this event. He fails miserably in his efforts to ruin the title matches. However he manages to nail the Colonizers again. It’s very damaging to Mandrill’s team to have to sit out this entire big event. In fact Rebel Empire has suffered so much with all the bans that they are almost bottom of the tag rankings that GWI magazine has just published.
Paragon stuns Pegasus in a Lepus Stun Rod match to become the new Heavyweight champ. Paragon’s pursuit of the Heavyweight belt continues. If he fails tonight surely he’s not getting another shot anytime soon. Commissioner Morpheus wants no outside influences so ordered a special match flavour. Pegasus was given the choice of what form it would take and opted for a Stun Rod match. Slightly odd choice. Perhaps he was hoping to ram the rod into Paragon where the sun don’t shine. After drawn out entrances the match gets underway and it’s clear both wrestlers have eyes on that holster light. Desperate to get first dibs with the rod. Pegasus gets a little too obsessed watching out for it and is sloppy with the actual wrestling. Within a few minutes he found himself in peril and subjected to FINAL OVERTURE. It’s such a potent finisher that Pegasus is not expected to survive. However he is made of special stuff. He drags himself over to the rope and forces a break. Paragon is amazed but gets lucky as the holster lights up next. He seizes the chance and wipes Pegasus out with the weapon. Goes in for another pin cover. Pegasus kicks out. The crowd are really into it and start a chant for Pegasus. He responds to this and forces himself into the match despite hobbling from the pain of being in Paragon’s finisher. Has a great spell of control. Now Paragon’s turn to dice with death as he is on the end of PROJECT PEGASUS. Like Pegasus he also stays alive in the contest. Incredible stuff with both guys probably wrestling beyond even their high standards. After this it’s back and forth until Paragon gets lucky again with the rod as the holster lights up whilst he’s on the offensive. Again he grabs it and this time climbs to the top turnbuckle and comes down with the rod. Pegasus is struck with tremendous force and this time it’s one big move too many. Shock throughout the arena as Paragon pins him to claim the belt. The reign of Pegasus ends at 40 cards. It was the joint fourth longest in fed history. Not that it is any consolation. Pegasus is shocked to lose the belt although one could argue it had been on the cards. There was an air of inevitability that Paragon would pull this off.
Interplanetary champ, Matador of M83, classily deals with Rising Sun. Prodigy, Skinhead, Enigma and Bloodline were all circling the IP belt like vultures demanding a title shot. Rising Sun leapfrogs them all to be given the first refusal. No way he was going to pass that up and he steps forward to challenge the Matador. Reynard B. Guile was being super annoying to the point the Matador told him to shut up or leave. That got a cheer and an approving nod from Lord Nexus who was quietly trying to get on with coaching Rising. Some fans even urged him to give B. Guile a Titan Drop to ensure he stayed quiet. Lord Nexus is too noble to go that far. Sadly he doesn’t oversee a victory for Rising although it was a decent effort. Rising began very well and for a split second there could have been an upset when he goes for SUNSET SPECTACULAR. B. Guile doesn’t interfere. Not wanting to waste the opportunity in case needed later. Proves a good call as the Matador kicks out under his own steam and then finds his feet. Starting to get into the groove. Rising began to struggle with this and although he kicked out after BULLWHIP twice it didn’t seem that he could hold out too much longer. Matador didn’t relent and started using aerial moves to change things up. He landed a double flying fist and didn’t hang about going for the cover. This time time it was successful and ensured the belt stayed with him. The wrestling romantics are hoping he can build another legendary reign with it. Will there be a fed to do it in though as we approach a new year? Plenty of rumours going around that the days of the GWF are numbered.
Genesis are awesome in downing Team CPC in an Aethran Ultimate Escape match. Not Prodigy’s month. First he gets overlooked for a shot at the IP belt and then he misses this big match as Thantos goes with Bloodline and Millenium as his trio. Virtually everyone in the arena was willing for Buck Steele to change into Genocide as soon as possible. Genocide is virtually unstoppable in a cage. It would give no greater pleasure that to see that snot nosed Bloodline getting ping ponged around the cage by Genocide. The first escapee was Colussus against Blizzard. This came after an incredible period of action that lasted almost as long as the rest of the match would. Blizzard got an absolute mauling by Millenium. Having his own FROSTBITE used against him followed by ROBOTIC DEATHBLOW x2 and OLYMPIA x2 but nobody could escape against him. After that a spell of back and forth commenced with everybody in and out of the ring. That was until Heracles got Buck Steele too angry and Genocide came back at him. Naturally a big crowd pop for that. Genocide destroyed Heracles and adds many tokens to him without actually exiting the cage. Somehow Heracles got a tag and Colussus seemed to know how to handle Genocide. Was actually the more offensive of the two during their long grapple. Things move on and Blizzard found himself pitched back into the action against Colussus and that’s when things went wrong as he flew at Colussus and ended up eating metal allowing Colussus to get out. Meant for the second fall Blizzard was marooned in the ring in a bad way. Looking like a sitting duck and desperately needing help of his teammates. However he suddenly found something. Bloodline thought it would be easy against him. He was shocked by Blizzard’s sudden burst and let him slip away after taking a bombardment that finished on a second ICE ATTACK. Given all Blizzard’s fatigue this was a crucial escape and put Genesis in pole position. Both Max Shield and Genocide are fresh whilst Bloodline and Heracles carry 11 tokens between them. It was time for Genocide to feast. The crowd had been wanting him to punish Bloodline and now was the time. Wasn’t quite the pulverising they hoped for as Bloodline gives a glimpse of his potential and stands up to Genocide. Although Genocide gets the job done through the spectacular CORPUS GENOCIDE he took some damage from CETUS MASTERLOCK on two occasions. It meant Max now up against Bloodline and Heracles on his own. However he was still fresh as a daisy. He just took Bloodline out with MAXIMUM IMPACT straight away. Heracles mustered a clumsy pin save. In truth Max just came off the cage wall and easily booted him away. Heracles was in no shape to help Bloodline again. Max repeated his finishing move and made a bid for glory again. Nothing to stop him now. As he reaches the other side and touches the floor the whole place goes nuts. Team CPC had been humiliated. Unfortunately still a big chance to redeem themselves if Paragon wins the Heavyweight belt later. We all know what Thantos would prefer.
Thunder and Overkill at their headbanging best to beat Desolation Factor in a Cosmic Cage match. This is the match they should have booked at GALACTICON. Caging all these guys is presumed as a guaranteed thriller. Rack and Ruin are so hyped up for it that they almost shake the cage of its hinges upon arrival. The Gladiators by contrast don’t waste their energy. Slowly marching out. Thunder is usually high intensity but he’s saving all that up for once the cage door clicks shut. Naturally it was an explosive opening. A brawling one with all four going at it. Took a couple of minutes before anyone retreats to a corner so a proper tag contest can happen. When things settle down it’s the Gladiators in absolute control. They send a timely reminder of their tag team ability as they obliterate Desolation Factor. Overkill owns Ruin in the power battle and could have beaten him alone with TURNBUCKLE TRAP. The pin just fails to come off so he hands off to Thunder. The intense barrage of offence is too much to take. Ruin was ripe for the pickings after a few minutes of that and Overkill comes back in so they can initiate DECAPITATOR. Thunder easily pins him after that whilst Overkill takes care of any attempt by Rack to break it up. Everyone was shellshocked at how one-sided that had been including Desolation Factor. The Gladiators could have been forgiven on Aethra for showing emotion and celebrating such a significant victory but they just dutifully march out the cage presumably to report in to seniors like Brute and Massacre. Next instructions awaited.
Nora Pelf gets partial revenge against Maxine in a Hair versus Hair match. Here we go again or should I say ‘hair we go again’. The two women nervously look over at the chair into which the loser will be strapped so the shearing process can happen. A masked man, that Vanity on commentary nicknames the Demon Barber, will carry out the process. Maxine has nobody with her which might render her finisher ineffective. Not that it becomes an issue as Nora shakes off the nerves and goes right after her hell bent on revenge. In just a couple of minutes she has Maxine beaten with RICHES TO RAGS. Nora delights in helping the Demon Barber put Maxine into the chair and instructs him to shave her sparing not a single follicle on the head. She claps excitedly and then turns to wave at the fans. Suddenly the Demon Barber clasps her in a sleeper from behind. Shocking scenes as Nora falls unconscious. The Demon Barber unmasks to reveal Brainstorm. Maxine is then released by Brainstorm and they strap Nora in instead. She is quickly shaved amid booing. Johnny Rocket tries to save Nora but he was watching in a private area and it takes too long to get there. He is there just in time to see Nora waking up all confused. Johnny releases her. After a few seconds Nora reaches up and feels her cranium. As it all dawns she starts sobbing and falls into the arms of Johnny. He helps her away. This hadn’t gone to plan.
Blade gets the better of Tortured Soul in a Titan Death match. Fans excited for this. Neither are setting things alight in the ring but that doesn’t mean it’s not a highly anticipated feud. We all know the history so there was little needed to add heat. Although Tortured Soul’s disgusting treatment of Archon did just that. Blade now taking it upon himself to right that wrong. He just about manages it. After a spotty start Blade gets into the spirit of the match and mixes it up hardcore. Once he does that starts enjoying much more offence. Although struggling to put Tortured Soul down for very long at any given point. The zombie infected brain inside Tortured Soul meant he/it kept mindlessly getting up. It took a spectacular moonsault by Blade to stun Tortured Soul long enough to pin him. Even after that Tortured Soul instinctively just rose up off the floor and wanted to continue. It’s mind obviously processing very little pain, if any. Blade smartly left pretty sharpish. He’d done his job, at least for tonight. With 2 wins on the board against Brymstone Burning it’s gone well for the Centaurians.
Dark Justice quickly disposes of Brainstorm in a Hitman Match. Hardly a feud to excite Justice. However it is at Krakan’s insistence the Bounty Hunters be punished. At least there’s something worth fighting for in the bag this time. Mace has put up half the money Magnus Colby has paid his team and Krakan has matched it. Mace seems to have blind faith in Brainstorm to land the windfall. In truth Brainstorm is the big underdog but as he likes to keep telling us he’s smart. He has arranged for security to meet Justice in the runway to frisk him for weapons. The rod of justice is found quickly and confiscated. Gives Brainstorm half a chance now. Justice might of lost composure because of all this as he starts badly and has to evade a pin attempt within a handful of moves. That scare immediately wakes him up as he destroys Brainstorm after this. In no time at all hitting SHOCK PROBATION and retrieving the bounty to make Krakan happy. There’s not been much to cheer for the Hitmen of late so this was badly needed.
The Code Enforcers over Spike and Vengeance by DQ. Dare Spike try the unmasking when faced with both Code Enforcers and crowbars within reaching distance? He’s got to win the match to stand any chance of pulling it off. Vengeance didn’t seem very engaged which wasn’t a good sign. You can never guarantee this guys mood. He was choosing to stand apart from Spike and also ignore the instructions of Brute. Clearly not happy at falling down the pecking order having only recently appeared to of fallen more into line. Could be worse though, could be Mayhem who wasn’t even part of tonight’s supercard. Looks for a long time as if the match wouldn’t live up to expectations. Many minutes back and forth but not an awful lot happening. Then it explodes into life. Manslaughter gets some real momentum against Vengeance. In the space of 5 moves he dishes HEADS WILL ROLL 3 times. Brute foiled the first two with distractions. An angry Commando Sam reacts to this by attacking Vengeance when he was thrown out of the ring after this. Keeps Vengeance under pressure. Of course Brute didn’t like that and he goes for Sam. They have an old school brawl to the back. Meanwhile in the ring Manslaughter performs his finisher a third and final time. The Gladiators just won’t let him finish the match off as Spike now storms in and tries to rip Manslaughter’s mask off. Not the Code Enforcer he wants to reveal though. He fails in his attempt and a huge 4 man brawl breaks out as a result. The ref rightly picks Spike out as the instigator and disqualified the Gladiators. It got worse though as the Gladiators get overwhelmed in the brawl. Spike finds himself ejected from the ring and the Code Enforcers set upon Vengeance with crowbars. They strike him several times and injure him before leaving. Sam will be pleased at how this all went. Maybe he even got the better of Brute in his own fracas.
Wolf crushed Malice. Rematch. Would lightening strike twice with Malice squashing Wolf again? Wolf has been trying to strike terror into the young Gladiators with countless zany promos. In one he shredded a life size dummy of Malice with his sharpened claws. It was torn to bits in a matter of seconds. Moments before curtain call he spoke to DM “I am still the wildest guy around even if I have suffered some losses. I learned to bounce back from setbacks ever since I was a young pup. Malice will find all this out in just a few moments”. It’s surprising that Brute hasn’t accompanied Malice again. Vanity on commentary suggests “the Gladiators go easy on Wolf, they have no interest in permanently injuring him given his past associations”. Maybe he was right but it didn’t look good for Malice. As if he wasn’t worthy of protection and boy did he need it. Wolf flew out the blocks and redeems himself with a crushing victory. Almost had it won in a handful of moves with SAVAGE FACE CLAW. Malice just about forces his hand off. However it has a lasting effect. Malice never gets himself going and just a couple minutes later finds himself in it again. This time he cannot get the claw off. Wolf grinds away with everything he has and Malice does something no Aethran should do. He submitted!
Archon back on form as he beats Blazing Skull. Lots of newer feuds on this show but this is a good old traditional feud having raged for 8 years now. A proven ratings winner so it’s no surprise to see these two thrown together again. Archon cares little for all that. He just wants to endlessly punish Blazing inside the ring regardless of the risk it poses every time he does it. The way he approached the match and won showed the disgusting incident with Tortured Soul a few weeks ago was no longer playing on his mind. Wasn’t without its hairy moments though. Blazing put Archon in BURNING TOUCH and looked at that point close to victory. However rather than go for the dreaded DEATH BY FIRE Blazing went for a deathjump and misses the mark. Brings Archon right back into it. Archon then seriously weakens Blazing after this with a series of submission moves. Blazing just about endures most of these. We then have a period of back and forth until a second big wave from Archon. He was about to pin Blazing when Maleph flew in. Crowd pops as Archon caught Maleph and put the winged demon on the deck. Then goes back to Blazing and finishes him off with a Centaurus Leg Lock. Great win.
Anarchy pinned Skinhead. It’s a sign of how much the Brymstonians are feared and hated that as soon as Skinhead was signed to face Anarchy here his popularity soared. Many wrestling sites run regular popularity polls and Skinhead is suddenly featuring prominently in some of them. He almost gives them even more reason to love him as he has 3 pin attempts in the first 3 moves. An incredible high tempo start. Sadly he fades after this. Eventually Anarchy gets the better of him and when CRUCIFIX DROP comes the only that can save Skinhead is Johnny Rocket. Johnny’s interference attempt is ruined by Maleph flying across him and Skinhead is beaten.
Prodigy over Vyper by DQ. Problematic feud Prodigy has got caught up in. He found his motorbike smashed up earlier. Passers by said it was done by Splatter using Arsenal. Prodigy is static when in the ring as if buffering but he needs to try and put all that out his mind. He could really do with the help of Thantos but his manager has no interest in this petty feud. The match doesn’t go very long. Prodigy is really lethargic and gets easily tossed from the ring whereupon the Terrorists go straight for him causing the DQ outcome. Some security guys help Prodigy from getting severely beaten but he still got whipped several times. Prodigy just best walk away from this feud now before things get worse.

STATUS UPDATES
Probably should have done this mid year but just felt like writing this now. I’ve given a report card rating to each team.
CHAMPIONS OF THE GALAXY - Despite Star Warrior not proving to be a convincing manager they have been solid and enjoyed lots of belt success. Cannot really argue when faced with those facts. Pegasus been brilliant this year but a failure at OTB and a subsequent loss of the Heavyweight belt has taken all the wind out of his sails. Can he finish strong? Might be about to throw toys out of pram if he doesn’t get an immediate opportunity to reclaim the belt. Luckily Alpha Power are looking very stable and having an incredible run as the tag team champions. This superstar tag team took a while to get going but now they have clicked look nigh on unbeatable. The supporting cast have had mixed fortunes. Enigma has shown great promise as a hero and briefly held the IP belt. However he lacks consistency and takes too many risks. Whilst Lance At-Las hasn’t really done anything. Unfortunately overall the Champions are slightly in the shadow of the FDF. The fans just love them a little bit more. A-
TEAM CPC - Hard to judge. Some key losses suffered. The Battlezone match against the FDF at DEIMOS PERENNIAL and the Aethran Ultimate Escape match against Genesis just recently at THE MEGA SHOW spring to mind. However Paragon has just captured the Heavyweight belt and he won the OTB singles bracket. So could be said that the key objectives have been achieved. Magnus Colby certainly seems happy as rumour is he has just paid Thantos a monster bonus. B+
THE GLADIATORS - Should a GWF legend like Spike become obsessed with such a petty thing as unmasking another wrestler? Fact is he is, the Code Enforcer Unknown’s face dominates his dreams. Aethra might see the year as a failure if this isn’t achieved. Trouble is time is running out. Outside of this the Gladiators haven’t exactly set anything alight. Thunder and Overkill were floundering until their recent destruction of Desolation Factor. Rumour is their time as a team is almost over as Thunder will finally get that singles push. Vengeance is already unhappy and this might push him over the edge to lose his leadership status and then get replaced as the singles star. Malice and Mayhem have played bit parts this year. Sometimes even forgetting Mayhem is around. C
FDF - Sam’s attitude to taking on code breakers has won the hearts of most of the cosmos. Basically every villain is on his radar and maybe even one or two heroes. Under his leadership Desolation Factor have greatly improved and the Code Enforcers are both feared and respected. In the background there is the soap opera story of Defender of the Realm which is actually very entertaining. Sam’s protective arm around Ms. Liberty also wins more admirers. I’d say it’s been a real success story for the FDF this year and shows it’s not necessarily about belt success because they’ve had very little of that. A
CODE DESTROYERS - Sitting on the fence when trying to rate this team. Doomsayer is probably frustrated his monstrous creations haven’t gobbled up the opposition. They’ve been outshone by the Ninja Assassis. However it’s the success of the Ninjas that bumps this report card up. Am sure there are many pivotal storylines involving Doomsayer to come. Can just sense it. C
THE COLONIZERS - Disastrous time so far. Mandrill’s lofty status has plummeted partly through lack of form but mainly because President Cordanus has well and truly got it in for him. The Colonizers have been subjected to countless bans and it’s really affected them. F
GENESIS - Have had internal problems and also had to deal with Max Shield being low on confidence. However as time has gone on they have steadily improved and their togetherness to beat Team CPC at THE MEGA SHOW sees them peak at the right time. Due to problems on the Colonizers side this legendary feud has simmered rather than exploded but that’s hardly the fault of the Genesis team. Based on recent improvements I’d say the future looks bright for this team. C+
BRYMSTONE BURNING - Just when you thought this motley group couldn’t get any sicker they wheel out Tortured Soul and take the feud with the Centaurians up a notch. Surprisingly they haven’t been targets of the FDF yet but that will surely come. Their grade is mainly off the back of the shock factor they caused and Blazing Skull’s win/loss record. He also inflicted serious injuries on Wolf during the year. Anarchy hasn’t been great though and Tortured Soul has performed more or less as expected of a zombie. Mainly losing but that’s not what his presence is all about. It’s more about the psychology. B-
THE CENTAURIANS - Have bobbed along. Results not great despite Blade’s supposed improvements. Also struggled to gel with Wolf. In true Wolf style he felt cooped up and has now flown the nest. Lorelei knows it’s not been good enough. She wonders why they haven’t done so well and questions herself. I’d say it’s got more to do with Tortured Soul unsettling Archon more than he lets on. At least there was a big improvement at THE MEGA SHOW which hints at a recovery. D
ROCKETMEN - Main story has centred on Nora Pelf. Been a tough start to life as a wrestler for her. Nobody deserves in their debut year to be shaved bald twice. Other than these dramas they’ve fared pretty well and proved superior to the Bounty Hunters which is Johnny Rocket’s main aim. Only downside is Twin Blood. They set a high standard before this year and have fallen below them a bit. Am sure it’s a temporary drop off and they’ll be in the tag team title mix again soon. B
BOUNTY HUNTERS - Pretty poor. They’ve p*ssed off quite a few people including the Hitmen, the original Bounty Hunter and even their main benefactor Magnus Colby. Only a recent clever storyline involving Brainstorm, Maxine Babe and Nora Pelf has ignited fan interest. Can’t see this group surviving much longer. E
FIGHTING TITANS - Nothing Lord Nexus does could ever put the fans off him and his group. He epitomises nobility more than anyone else. The only ones that come close to him are Archon and the Soulwatcher. His work with Mutant is to be admired and we all hope it has a happy ending. In the ring his men have done okay. Both Titan Attack and Rising Sun have registered significant victories but also looked a tad inconsistent. Most memorable moment of the year so far has to be Rising Sun’s amazing win over Draconian Sheik in a Torture Chamber match. C
HITMEN FOR HIRE - Not great for the Hitmen. Results haven’t been the best. Plus internal problems due to Tough Guy’s poor attitude. Not much more to say. Surely it has come to a head at some point soon. D-
THE TERRORISTS - The fact they strike fear everytime they are booked means regardless of results they have done their job. They don’t look like winning belts anytime soon though that’s not really been their aim. C
CYGNUS STRIKEFORCE - Could do better. The team has had some decent results and even rose to a failed title shot recently. You don’t get that far without being a good team. However their botched brandings has caused them lots of embarrassment. Maybe the weakness is Mangus being too obsessed with going after Earth wrestlers or anyone who befriends them. C+
OTHERS - Some of the Galacticon Bash characters have made a mark. Best thing about the set is the freshness it’s injected into the female division. So many more match possibilities. The Hellions have been impressive though Sniper is the main success story. Currently the women’s champion and harbouring secrets that has a lot of people taking. Meanwhile Sir Ender and Animen Invasion are providing comedy humour unintentionally. They are so bad. Existing guys without a group like Dreadnaught, Soldier of Fortune and Theatre of Pain are drifting aimlessly. Dreadnaught continues to cause concerns for his health but so far he is clinging on. The stand out star though is Matador of M83. Reminding everyone how good he can be and having one last dance with the Interplanetary belt before his rumoured departure from the GWF. Can he build one more memorable reign?

‘STARS OF THE GALAXY - VOLUME 15’
The popular digital release is back with its usual assortment of matches plucked from dark shows and also including zany skits … First up we see some footage featuring the mysterious Sniper. She is at an old school firing range on Earth demonstrating her skills. Firing at targets with unerring accuracy. Further and further back they go and every time a strike between the eyes of the dummies used or a bullseye scored. Very impressive. The cameraman then pipes up “what’s your deal then? Are you connected to Krakan?” Sniper reacts with anger “right shut that camera off before I turn the pistol on you”. Based on that prickly reaction there is obviously something there. Only we still don’t know what it is … Poor old Dreadnaught. He is the next feature and takes the viewers on a tour of his apartment on Deimos. It is adorned with pictures from his past glories. Very clear he will never get rid of the wrestling bug. He tells the cameras “Doomsayer won’t put me back through the Transevolver but I found something else to make me strong”. With that he opens a cupboard full of pills and vitamins. Some of questionable origin. He proceeds to concoct a potion of them and takes with some water. Cracks a smile and says “I now feel energised” and proceeds to try and do 100 push ups to show off their effect. Sadly the arms start shaking at 10 and before he’s reached 20 he’s collapsed and laying face on the floor panting heavily. The cameraman puts down the camera and decides to try and help Dreadnaught. With the help of the another unseen guy they get Dreadnaught onto his sofa and decide to leave him in peace to recover. He probably won’t have moved for hours … Ms. Liberty is the penultimate skit. Showing how down to Earth she is by allowing herself to be followed taking her young son to nursery in New York before getting on with her day of wrestling related activities. Adam is a very normal and happy looking boy as he joins the other children and starts to play. Ms. Liberty is chatting and laughing with other parents. Looking very happy herself. Maybe she’s even back in the dating game as is overheard thanking a woman for introducing her to someone. Didn’t quite the catch the name but did hear her saying “I might just give him a call. Maybe we can all go bowling” … Last one. Centres on Dragonmaster. Gives a little insight into the legend turned colour commentator/backstage interviewer and some of the things he now does. DM speaks with passion about his new role and how delighted he is to still be involved in wrestling. He admits it’s difficult to be impartial sometimes and initially the tech baffled him. Now he says it’s a breeze and the most challenging thing about his job is having to regularly share the commentary booth with Vanity. Feeling they are chalk and cheese. On more than one occasion he has felt like applying a Cobra Nerve Stopper to his colleague. However he does realise they do actually work well together and the fans enjoy their styles bouncing off one another.
Alpha Force easily defeated Mandrill. Seems Chaos was not the only one last month giving themselves a change with a singles match. Alpha Force scratched that itch too and in terms of facing a villain they don’t come much bigger than Mandrill. It was rare outing for anyone on the Colonizers last month. Ring rust aplenty showing on Mandrill. His first move is a clumsy swinger but Alpha Force shows age isn’t slowing down his reactions. He expertly catches Mandrill’s fist and just goes to town on him thereafter. Within just 7 moves he has smashed Mandrill with TOMAHAWK THRUST for a second time and is collecting a mightily impressive win. Sentry was in attendance but didn’t move. He probably didn’t expect Mandrill to be beaten so easily. The outcome just about summed up the year for the Colonizers. It has been disastrous and Mandrill must be fearing his grip on the villain team is being loosened considerably.
Thunder wins a thrilling battle with Wolf by DQ. Surely not long until Thunder’s big singles push. Cannot remember off hand if he has tested himself before against Wolf. Was this a good time to be facing him? Wolf is a wounded animal at the moment with the run of losses suffered. However it’s often said that when an animal is wounded it can be at its most dangerous. Brute was in position for the bout and wouldn’t be shy about attacking if required. Becomes a great battle and hints at future classic battles between them in years to come. Thunder is outstanding in the first few minutes and has several pin attempts. Two of which came directly after THE TEMPEST. However Wolf is looking much more like his old self. Hanging on in there and then launching a massive comeback. He locked on SAVAGE FACE CLAW twice after weathering all of that. Thunder somehow withstands the excruciating move. The battle raged on and it was in the balance up until the moment Wolf got a little too close to Brute. Wolf was feeling that he might be attacked if he didn’t do it first and goes for him. This leads to Wolf being disqualified. Such a shame that a thrilling contest didn’t have a clearer outcome.
Tortured Soul upsets Enigma. We all know Tortured Soul cannot wrestle for toffee and expect him to be hopelessly out of his depth against an agile guy like Enigma. However Enigma is notorious for taking risks and botched a high flying move almost straight away. Tortured Soul then pounced on him with ROTTING CLAW numerous times. Despite the vile taste and almost throwing up Enigma stayed in the match and gets his mojo back. Destroying Tortured Soul with his repertoire. That was until he went for ENIGMA SUICIDA. It went disastrously wrong. Enigma missed and cannoned into tables. It looked like he might of caught his foot on the ropes as he went over them. He was so hurt that he couldn’t recover. Tortured Soul laid siege to him again and used his putrid finisher several more times. Enigma had that hand down his throat 6 times in all. On the final one he could take it no more and taps out so his nightmare would end.
Lance At-Las overcame Draconian Sheik. Dangerous match for Lance. Hoping he won’t be the victim of a Terrorist backlash after Drac was put out of action by Rising Sun by losing that Torture Chamber match. He comes through it though with a brilliant win. He was drenched in blood having been carved many times by Drac’s sharpened object. Despite this he refused to be beaten and kept giving it everything he had. When he managed to use his MARS MANHANDLER finisher only to be foiled by the Terrorists distracting it was feared his big chance has passed. However Lance failed to accept that and kept on going. He gets his reward when a flying head scissors catches Drac out and leads to the pin. The match had been a classic.
Rebel Empire annihilated Titan Attack. It’s about the only way Rebel Empire can get a match at the moment is to stay off the live shows. Ursa Major was playing a lot of cat and mouse with Vendetta which naturally makes the big man angry. He dearly pays for all that. Before long he ran into problems and got cut off in the ring. Nefarus nearly pinned him after SCISSORDRIVER. Then tagged Vendetta back in. He almost cracks Ursa Major’s skull with a Colonizer Claw Grip. Then smashes him with a falling leg drop off the turnbuckle. That was quite the sight. After that it’s EMPIRE TRIUMPHANT. Scion Nexus made an attempt to break the pin up and help his mate. Only to be thwarted by the ref. During which time both members of Rebel Empire double teamed Ursa some more. He never stood a chance after that and Nefarus casually pinned him.
Supernova defeated Thrash by DQ. Supernova has been working very hard on the dark show circuit to build her ranking up again. She’s decided it’s time for a big push on the ladies belt after laying low for a while. They don’t come much tougher than Thrash. However Supernova had plenty of reasons to be confident. She’s beaten Thrash before on many occasions. They have a close tussle. Supernova has some good pin attempts but was not able to quite get a moment to unleash her finisher. The longer it went on it seemed like it could boil over. Mainly from Thrash as she gets frustrated by her inability to get much control. Sure enough when it goes out the ring Thrash decides it’s time to slam Supernova into some tables. Reasons she’d rather take the DQ loss than get pinned. Supernova was happy with the win albeit a little bruised afterwards.
Theatre of Pain labour to a win over Animen Invasion. Son of Ram and Antak still going around devaluing the good name of the Animen. Although they have a surprisingly good match here with plenty of offence. Son of Ram even showed off his finisher HORNS OF DEATH. Never expected them to have that much momentum in a match to get that far. Theatre of Pain just about survives this banana skin though. Comedy eventually got Son of Ram with LAST LAUGH. Of course Animen Invasion make a big thing out of this. Antak saying “we nearly beat former tag champs, shows how good we are”. Not quite accurate. The GWF doesn’t recognise any CPC championships in its history.
Rising Sun beats Sir Ender with 1 move. This took place before Rising Sun’s shot at the IP belt. Otherwise the deluded buffoon Sir Ender might have been thinking this was a contenders match/title shot or something. He was diabolical last time we all saw him and perhaps even worse here. He rode in on a horse and on clumsily dismounting attempts to enchant some ladies in the front row by handing them a flower each. The flowers all get thrown back in his face. Before Sir Ender can get angry over the humiliation Rising Sun grabs him and forces him into the ring. He then lays Sir Ender out with a spinning back kick and pins him. It might be one of the fastest ever victories. Unfortunately Rising was soon laid out himself. He got selected for a lottery attack and was struck with Arsenal and then had a snake draped over him. Lord Nexus got swiped too. When Sir Ender comes around he sees Rising is down and assumes he must have beaten him. He’ll get a shock when he sees this tape. Luckily despite the assault Rising suffered no lingering injuries.

GWF REPORT (THE END 2109 CARDS 1093 - 1096)
Champions
* GWF Heavyweight Champ: Paragon (Top Contender: TBC) * GWF Tag Champs: Alpha Power (Top Contenders: Disorder X) * GWF Interplanetary Champ: Matador of M83 (Top Contender: Bloodline) * GWF Ladies Champ: Sniper (Top Contender: Ms. Liberty)
Latest News:
Sensational stuff as Pegasus loses his grip on the Heavyweight belt. Paragon is such a wind up merchant and is posting pictures of himself with the belt all over Spacebook straight away. With annoying captions like ‘proof of CPC superiority’ and ‘finally a champion the fed can be proud of’. Magnus Colby has also offered to buy him a new mansion on the planet of his choosing as a reward. Pegasus is determined to win it back as soon as possible. Hopefully the championship committee won’t stand in his way. At the moment it’s a guessing game as to who the next top contender will be but Pegasus comes off the back of a very impressive 40 card reign so surely he has to be favoured for a rematch. Paragon’s victory more than made up for Team CPC’s miserable failure a few bouts earlier in the Aethran Ultimate Escape match against Genesis. Thantos was dismissive of that loss and simply said of it “has no relevance, we achieved our objectives”. Of course it had massive relevance to Genesis. A huge morale boost and also more harmony within the team as Buck Steele and Vertigo appear to have patched up their differences. Hopefully the win hasn’t just papered over the cracks.
Krakan continues to blame Tough Guy for everything going wrong on the Hitmen team. Citing his lack of training and continuing unreliability. Mike Fortune is trying to fight Tough Guy’s corner but even his patience is being tested. Will need to keep a watch on this. They’ve done a number on Tough Guy before. Last time it was to beat some sense into him. Next time it could be worse.
You can never have sympathy for the Colonizers but they really are the prime targets for President Cordanus as he knocked them out of 2 cards this month including the big one THE MEGA SHOW. There was also a ban on the Gladiators at one of the cards. However that had very little ripple as the Gladiators were unlikely to of been booked. Seems strange that the Colonizers are taking the most damage when you could argue that teams like Brymstone Burning and the Gladiators are worse. I suppose Mandrill’s lofty status as supposed joint villain leader is the reason Cordanus chiefly has it in for him. An additional kick in the stomach for Mandrill is having to stand by and watch Genesis have a night to remember. I suppose the only chink of light is that if Team CPC had conquered all at the event then Thantos would of looked even stronger and in a good position to supplant him.
It’s taken a while for the penny to drop but Darkos finally thinks he might have backed the wrong horse by hooking up with Doomsayer’s Code Destroyers and is secretly looking at other options. He was horrified that Doomsayer replaced him at ringside for the Ninjas recent title shot. In a strange way he was glad they didn’t win. He’s not saying it publicly but Darkos thinks Doomsayer is trying to steal all the glory and take credit for all his hard work. Problem that Darkos has is there are no real other team options and he wants to be part of a group. Ideally leading it or with joint leadership status. He could try and recruit to build up his own group. However when you look at the free agents floating about like Soldier of Fortune, Dreadnaught, Sir Ender and Soulwatcher this is not great.
Some are wondering why the Code Enforcers are not being pushed by Commando Sam towards GWF belts. They’ve had tremendous success especially Manslaughter. However Sam is more focused on the Galactic Code than anything else. He sees them as the hero equivalent of the Hitmen. Going around doing jobs and helping maintain order. He better hope for his sake they remain happy to play those roles. Surely Cygnus Strikeforce will heavily be on the radar of the Code Enforcers in the coming month. They always are anyway but their disgusting bullying treatment and subsequent branding of Ms. Liberty will of triggered incredible anger from Commando Sam.
Aftermath of Nora Pelf-Maxine Babe is that locks of Nora Pelf’s hair have been retrieved by fans and are selling for silly amounts on auction sites. Unfortunately lots of fakes too. Nora is still foggy about the whole match but is nonetheless horrified people are profiting out of her ordeal “I had no idea people could be so cruel. It’s the last time I ever do anything like this”. Johnny Rocket is more annoyed at the cruel deception of Brainstorm and Maxine Babe and says “they just upped the stakes in this feud, the Rocket Men will hound the Bounty Hunters forever”. For the record Maxine Babe was ordered by the GWF to honour the contract of the match and have her head shaved. She agrees to have it done and the segment is shown on ROLL UP. Once complete Brainstorm appears laughing his head off “too smart for you all again”. Maxine peels off a hair piece that had concealed her real hair, which she’d had cut short and nicely styled, and tosses it away. All that had happened is that a wig had been shaved. She’d got away with it.
Mayhem has been irritated by suggestions he is a spare wheel in the Gladiators. He angrily reacts with a rare Spacebook posting “the Gladiators wanted me back because they know I am the greatest hardcore wrestler that ever existed. Any group that I am part of instantly becomes the top team in the federation”. Seems to of gotten to him though and he has instantly started fishing for opponents, any opponent, to face him in Barbed Wire Cosmic Cage matches. As if he’s trying to prove his worth. Am sure he won’t have many problems finding opponents.
Just a couple months left in the year. Everyone is getting twitchy. The fate of the GWF rests with Cordanus and the UFSP. So far he has failed to fully shut down any live shows. A source of frustration but his resolve remains great. Let’s keep everything crossed that worse is not to come.
INJURED – Vengeance (2); SUSPENDED – none
WRESTLER OF THE MONTH:
MATADOR OF M83 - Seems very likely we are on the final furlong of his legendary GWF career and if that’s true he is signing off in style. Done so by capturing the Interplanetary belt last month and now successfully defending it to make sure his name goes into the books as a three time champion. He’s done it all in his career. Titles galore. One of the greatest ever.
TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH:
THUNDER AND OVERKILL - Another monthly award winner whose days are probably numbered. Very different reasons. They served a reminder of their potency by destroying Desolation Factor. They may not of held the belts for a while (almost 2 years when I checked) but deep down everyone knows they are the best team of the last few years.
