CARD 1097 – SPICA PYRAMID:
Dragonmaster had hoped to be joined by Pulsar on colour commentary but his old pal declines when he learned the show was booked at Spica Pyramid. Just too many bad memories for Pulsar. At least there was some good news as a fiery threat was vanquished by the UFSP. All Brymstone wrestlers were banned. Not clear if that affected the actual bookings or not. Poor old DM is forced to share his space with Vanity again. He nearly gave him a DRAGON DROP part way through for endlessly butting in and insulting all the heroes.
Interplanetary champ, Matador of M83, continues his brilliant form to beat Bloodline. Big chance for Team CPC to end 2109 in a phenomenally strong position by capturing the second major singles belt. Thantos would love not only that but also the chance to ruin the final title run of the Matador by making it a short one. Begrudgingly Bloodline has accepted his place within the team and knows that the IP belt is the best he can hope for at the moment. He got his head down and won a heap of matches to earn this. Some of which were on TV but there were plenty more on the dark show tour. At least the ones that went ahead and weren’t shut down by President Cordanus. Magnus Colby is not famed for his generosity but promises more bonus money if more gold is won by the team. So that brings us to here. Unfortunately it’s not the best of contests. It wasn’t terrible but didn’t live up to expectations as it was a bit one-sided and over quite quickly. Matador got on the offensive straight away. Bloodline got very little going and found himself on the end of BULLWHIP within a few minutes. Thantos was hesitant to interfere as it increased chances of a DQ. So he just tried a distraction that failed. It meant it was down to Bloodline to kick out under his own steam. Trouble was he already had a couple of fatigue tokens. He was unable to survive the move. Reynard B. Guile entered the ring excitedly and tried to high five the Matador. This was about the best part of the match as B. Guile was left hanging. Bloodline was fuming that he’d been made to look bad. He immediately demands another shot at the belt and will bang down the Commissioner’s door if he has to.
Mayhem destroyed Defender of the Realm in a Cosmic Cage match. Rematch after Defender tried to spear Mayhem in their last meeting. Mayhem has been licking his lips over the prospect of getting in the ring with him and it’s his favourite type of match with it being a cage match. Defender has some distractions to deal with. First is his split personality issue that we all know about but the second is the shocking announcement that he is the top contender to the Heavyweight belt. Yes you heard right. Commissioner Morpheus fears too much of Paragon-Pegasus will bore the fans and wants to keep their next meeting on ice for a while (let’s hope the fed survives long enough for that to happen). However when he looked beyond Pegasus it was tough to single out a clear top contender. Word is he put the names of some of the stronger recent performers in a hat and Defender came out. Pretty farcical and nobody from within GWF HQ will verify this. Anyway that’s all a sideshow to this actual match. Defender arrived first and decided he’d make a grand entrance by climbing into the cage rather than use the door. He didn’t reckon on Mayhem jumping his curtain call. Mayhem charges down the runway and starts shaking the cage violently. Defender was straddling the top at this time and loses his grip. He falls all the way from the top and hits the turnbuckle on the way down. Bad way to start. Mayhem takes the easy route in and enters through the door. He then feasts upon Defender. It’s borderline cruelty as he throws Defender all around the cage. His poor victim meets metal several times. When he wasn’t being thrown at the sides Defender was being subjected to DANGER ZONE. There were three in all before Mayhem gets bored. Defender was already bloody so Mayhem left the cage as casually as he entered for one of his easiest ever wins. It didn’t say much for the next top contender to the Heavyweight belt. Defender looked a mess and staggered away. No way he can beat Paragon based on that.
Millenium defeated Twin Blood. There is a big push being made by Team CPC to hoover up all the belts. Like it or not but Colussus and Heracles are expected to try and deliver the tag straps and forget any singles aspirations. Thantos reminds them they are being paid handsomely to play this role. Twin Blood are determined not to be stepping stones though. They harbour thoughts are returning to the top of the tag tree and winning this will be very helpful in pushing them closer to that goal. The first dramas were not from the wrestlers but from the managers. Johnny Rocket still holds deep contempt for the CPC and clashes with Thantos after shouting into his mic “get out of the GWF, you’re not welcome here after all you’ve done”. Thantos threatens to stick him in MASTERLOCK “to snap those puny legs” if Johnny doesn’t shut up. The ref was sensing this sideshow could ruin the match and makes the bold decision to eject both managers. Both teams dispute the decision. The ref regains control by threatening to disqualify everyone if they don’t start. Like naughty ticked off school children the teams engaged. The loss of manager seemed to affect Twin Blood more than Millenium. Heracles and Colussus get right after Dreggs and cut the ring in half. Over the course of a few minutes Dreggs is subjected to some heavy hits. None more so than OLYMPIA which leads to him being pinned. That was a bad result for Twin Blood.
Supernova takes her good old time in beating Taechon. Suddenly Taechon has become a big deal. Her shock win over Amazonia has put her on the map. Supernova is sure it was a fluke and aims to prove it whilst at the same time boosting her ranking. She has eyes on the ladies belt. Despite the obvious skills and agility of both combatants it wasn’t a great spectacle. Just went on for a long time with not a lot happening. Gradually Supernova managed to get on top. Though she was struggling to pin Taechon. Her finisher let her down. There was a danger of the time limit being reached. Supernova seemed to be aware of that and ups her game. A second shot with SPEED OF LIGHT finally ending the resistance of Taechon.
Ninja Assassins too good for Theatre of Pain. No surprise Darkos is back at ringside. It’s not a title match so Doomsayer has lost all interest in the Ninjas. Am sure if they get near the belts again he’ll come back out of the woodwork. Theatre of Pain have been splitting time between GWF and CPC. This might be their last match for a while as they are considering a lengthy run in the CPC after this. They once captured that organisation’s tag belts and feel a prolonged stay could help win them again. If it is to be their last match then it ends on a downer. Their early promise gets snuffed out. The Ninjas were just too good in the end. Daeman initiated DOUBLE EDGE SWORD on Comedy to grab the win.
Mike Fortune over Vyper by DQ. A sign of things to come as Mike Fortune goes solo? He was reacting to questions on Tough Guy’s whereabouts in a very moody manner and trying to crush any microphones that are thrust in his face. He then takes out his anger on Vyper in the ring. However Vyper has his number. Able to use his ring craft to keep Fortune mostly at arms length. The bout probably goes a little too long. Crowd gets a bit restless at the lack of high potency moves. Thankfully a DQ brings down the curtain. Fortune was relentlessly outside of the ring. Either leaving of his own accord or being thrown out by Vyper. The referee warns that if it continues then a disqualification decision will be taken. He certainly wasn’t bluffing as about a minute later when Vyper threw Fortune out again he acted on that threat and ended the contest.

CARD 1098 – SPICA PYRAMID:
Ladies champ, Sniper, edges Ms. Liberty to keep the belt. Some women waiting in the wings are frustrated Ms. Liberty is being given another shot at the belt despite losing easily last time out against Sniper. They don’t care that she’d been branded. The mark is still slightly visible although her wrestling leotard covers most of it. Ms. Liberty certainly fared much better this time around and so nearly actually won the belt. A magical spell of offence saw her almost pin Sniper three times. THE LIBERATOR was twice used in this attacking wave. You kind of felt after this petered out Sniper was ultimately going to come out on top. Which she did. Managing to stun Ms. Liberty with a Sniper Crossfire Kick. All downhill for Ms. Liberty from there and her brave challenge ended after she was shot down with TARGET PRACTICE. Sniper acknowledges the battle she’d just been in and helps Ms. Liberty up before letting the ref raise her hand in victory.
Code Enforcer Manslaughter beats Maelstrom in a thrilling Castor Chain match. The second of 2 chain matches. Maelstrom hoped to fare better than US. Traitor but he got the worst deal. Manslaughter is the more hardcore of the Code Enforcers and relishing the opportunity to use the chain. It appears that he is going to get the beating of his life. Not long before Manslaughter is choking and punching him with the chain. Then CODE CROWBAR a couple times for good measure. Maelstrom not only survives but then comes back strong. Turning an out of ring brawl into his advantage and so nearly getting a surprise win after ANNIHILATOR EDGE. However he can’t stay on top. Manslaughter stages his own comeback. After using the chain some more he goes for the big finish via HEADS WILL ROLL and this tough test is successfully negotiated.
US. Traitor upsets Code Enforcer Unknown in a Castor Chain match. Apparently Traitor was so worried about getting badly hurt in this match he tried to worm his way out. Mangus calls him soft for trying to turn it into a regular match and warns he will be exiled from Cygnus if he doesn’t wrestle. Everyone was expecting him to roll over but after a vicious clothesline using the chain Traitor found he was able to get decent offence. Then a snake eyes roll after TURNCOAT FLYER gives him a shock victory. However he doesn’t get a chance to bask in victory spotlight. The Code Enforcer recovers and whilst on the ground wrapped a chain round Traitor’s foot causing him to trip. He then got the chain round the neck and choked him violently. It took almost 5 security guys to force a release. Traitor was left a coughing and spluttering mess. He knows his card is well and truly marked.
Desolation Factor beats Transformer by count-out. Doomsayer hasn’t had the success he expected with his monstrous creations. However any team facing them should always tread carefully. Not least Desolation Factor who are always the primary targets of the Code Destroyers team. It was suggested that Desolation Factor are in free fall after being recently dismantled by the Gladiators. However they way the ripped into Transformer quickly dispelled that. Poor Monad was barely surviving. He was destroyed with RACKED AND RUINED and only evaded being pinned thanks to Nth Degree’s pin save which was a double flying head butt on Ruin who was covering. It actually reversed the pin although Monad didn’t know much about it. After this Nth Degree got in the ring and makes a fight of it. However Monad found himself pitched into the melee again a bit later and the earlier punishment sustained was still a factor. He got beat upon outside the ring and when he tried to beat the count back his legs just gave way and the match was lost.
Lance At-Las easily overcame Brainstorm. Crowded at ringside as Brainstorm has several cheerleaders. Maxine Babe was not among them. He is overheard saying “why would I want that old hag”. Trouble with Maxine is she has no respect for herself and keeps going back to him and will do so again. Lance At-Las was unimpressed with all the showboating. He was just keen to get on and wrestle. He’d done well to win his last match against Draconian Sheik and hoped to make it two in a row. He has little problem in achieving that. Making sure Brainstorm is embarrassed in front of his babes and taking barely a couple of minutes to beat him via MARS MANHANDLER. Not one to put in the scrapbook for Brainstorm but it’s great that things are looking up for Lance.
Titan Attack overcomes Lethal Lottery by DQ. Titan Attack stumbling at the year end. Riding a 4 match losing streak. They haven’t won a televised match since the high of GALACTICON when they prevailed in a Tirion Triple Threat match that included Lethal Lottery. They just cannot seem to become anything more than a mid-level team despite Ursa Major’s supposed improvements. At least they stop the rot here with a DQ win. Ursa Major suffered for it though. He’d got powder in the eyes from the Terrorists after SHOTGUN CRADLE. Then almost pinned after MEET ARSENAL. Having Scion Nexus to thank for saving him after that. Trouble is it just set him up for more punishment. Splatter isn’t shy about striking with his weapon again. He batters up for another hit and it’s a home run as Ursa Major is sent out of the park and falls through the ropes. Luckily Splatter isn’t allowed to get away with that one and cops a disqualification.

CARD 1099 – CHARON ICE CASTLE:
The Colonizers must be relieved. The UFSP seems to have forgotten about them for now. Brymstonian wrestlers are targeted again and banned.
Disorder X wins a dramatic match to dethrone Alpha Power as tag champs. Surely Disorder X cannot succeed where stronger teams have failed and beat the seemingly unbeatable Alpha Power. Both Chaos and Alpha Force are oozing confidence. They’ve also been hot in singles matches. Only chance Disorder X might have is dodgy tactics but with no manager that might difficult. That is until Mace grabs the floating mic out of the ring announcer’s hand “time to introduce our secret weapon” and right on cue Maxine Babe bursts through curtain. On loan from Brainstorm she skips to ringside and then proceeds to peel off to her underwear. An official tries to run in and cover her with a towel but she cries out indecent assault to which he quickly backs off not wanting a messy court case. Maxine is left to be. Chaos, Alpha Force and Star Warrior all look gobsmacked. She will prove to be a massive distraction. Understandably Alpha Power don’t look at their best. Some early control soon evaporates and Mace was having a lot of joy against Alpha Force. Chaos insists on a tag and Alpha Force begrudgingly obliges whilst shooting him a look as if to say “see if you can do better”. He doesn’t. Mace is like a man possessed and Chaos barely survives a couple of pin attempts. One of which came after DECIMATION. Both times Alpha Force’s pin save attempts were foiled by quick thinking from Disorder X. Surely after those let offs Chaos would wake up. The crowd urges him on but there is just no response. He gets nowhere close to getting to L3O where he can be unstoppable. Worse is to come as Mace shows his phenomenal power and puts Chaos through the mat with MACE’S LITTLE HELPER. The horrified Star Warrior can take no more and looks set to storm the ring. Then a bra flies into his face and he puts the brakes on. Maxine Babe is standing there topless and only covering his modesty with her hands. Star Warrior is like a rabbit in headlights. Meanwhile in the ring no one was helping Chaos. That move took a load out of him and he fails to muster a kick out. Shockingly Disorder X had won the titles. The curtain comes down on a silent crowd. Nobody could quite believe what they had witnessed.
Code Enforcers too hardcore for Cygnus Strikeforce in a Titan Death match. Don’t tell anyone but US. Traitor has been dreading this. Fearing another ferocious beating from the Code Enforcers. Explains why his performance is riddled with errors. Seems that on top of becoming a turncoat he has also turned into something of a spineless coward. Eventually he is forced to fight and pulls it together it a bit. Although Maelstrom does most of the heavy lifting. The Code Enforcers are in their element in this type match and although it’s not as straight forward as everyone expected they prevail. Manslaughter had dished out some hefty punishment on Maelstrom during the course of the contest. He is able to finish him off via CODE CROWBAR. Then in a big crowd pleasing moment the Code Enforcers tie their opponents in the ropes so they could beat them with crowbars as long as security allows. The disdain for Cygnus Strikeforce that everyone has meant the security were purposefully slow in stopping this. With both of them barely conscious they are untied and dragged into the centre of the ring. At the request of Commando Sam the Code Enforcers carry out an order to drape an American flag over them. Pretty humiliating and something tells me that the Code Enforcers are not finished with Cygnus Strikeforce yet!
Spike battered Enigma on way to a count-out win. Time is running out for Spike to make good on his vow to unmask the unknown Code Enforcer. For the moment the Code Enforcers are tantalisingly out of reach as they are busy dealing with Cygnus Strikeforce. Spike has to settle with Enigma for now. However it will be a good warm up as Enigma is a high agility guy too. Spike says it will also be a chance to unmask another wrestler as Enigma is known to don all sorts of colourful headgear. Enigma could do with a win. His shock loss to Tortured Soul has become public knowledge thanks to the STARS OF THE GALAXY digital release. It forms part of a 4 match televised losing streak as there have been two losses to Matador (one of which included losing the IP belt) and a defeat to Mad Jester to contend with. Hardly form that should be associated with someone at the fed’s premiere hero group. Unfortunately it’s another ropey result. Spike just got hold a hold and battered him from start to finish. The only thing that was impressive from Enigma is that he lasted as long as he did. Producing several kick outs including one after MEGADESTROYER. Spike didn’t relent though and settled for a count-out victory as he pressed Enigma over his head. Showing immense strength to do it one armed once Enigma was up there. Spike then dumped him over the top rope and left him for dead.
Thrash doesn’t have too many problems in beating Nora Pelf. No hiding away for Nora. She is back on the saddle as she bravely wrestles minus most of her hair. No wig as she is happy for the cosmos to see her warts and all. Johnny Rocket stimulates even more interest in this match by shaving his own head bald to make Nora feel better. What a gesture. On entering the ring Thrash shows a rare Aethran emotion. Laughter. She finds these two baldies stood in front of her very amusing. Johnny gets very angry at this and looks like he might even strike a woman. Thrash is far stronger than most men and easily puts him on the deck. She then clears him from the ring by kicking him with her metal boots. Obviously the boots are illegal and are then tossed aside for conventional ones. Nora tries to get revenge on Thrash for her actions and jumps on her back but gets vaulted forwards and slams into the mat. Sets the tone as Thrash tries to brutalise and end it quick. Nora gives a reasonably good account but she cannot cope with the aggression and power. After several minutes Thrash goes for FEMME FATAL and it was over. Johnny Rocket was powerless to assist Nora when it happened. He was still badly winded from that metal boot.
The Soulwatcher upsets Soldier of Fortune. SOF is reaching his expiry date. It will be a surprise to see him hanging on beyond this year. Could even be his very last match. He has already said previously “at least I know when to quit, unlike Dreadnaught”. He’s got what looks on paper to be a very winnable match. The fans are rooting for the Soulwatcher. He has a bit of a cult following. It’s a no win situation for SOF as he is expected to dominate but it’s a potential banana skin. It does slip him up. The momentum went back and forth several times. Then just as it seemed SOF was finally going to get the battle won he gets surprised by the Soulwatcher executing a sunset flip off the ropes and pinned. Some fans report they heard a moody SOF on leaving mumble “that’s I’m done”.
Sir Ender bumbles to a win against Mutant by DQ. Have a feeling the press conferences of 2110 (if we get that far) will feature Mutant prominently as Lord Nexus tries to fulfil his plan to restore Montrol. He’s done a great job looking after it this year, giving it accommodation and trying to train it. Sadly Mutant just seems as feral as ever. At least it has a strong chance of victory against the running joke that is Sir Ender. This clown gallops in on his horse shouting “fear not, I will tame this wild beast”. Mutant soon knocks him off his horse and Sir Ender got a foot caught on the stirrup. Eventually he frees it and tumbles clumsily. Mutant starts destroying Sir Ender but struggles to beat the buffoon even when applying TEMPLE GRINDER. Suddenly the horse at ringside makes a loud nay and it freaks Mutant out that it tries to attack it. Things almost get out of control. Meanwhile Sir Ender is overjoyed because he’s won the match by disqualification and shouts “I did it, the beast is slain. All hail Sir Ender”.

CARD 1100 – SATURDAY NIGHT STARSLAMMERS – TIRION SPORTS PLACE:
Worrying noises coming out of the Cordanus camp. No bans tonight but he makes a rambling statement on Spacebook. It’s the last sentence that has everybody worried “you’ll soon see, the GWF has not heeded my warnings”. It is a grim reminder of the peril the GWF finds itself in. Unfortunately Commissioner Morpheus is not making the connection yet or just stubbornly fails to see the bigger picture. He keeps assuring fans “not to worry, the GWF is safe. It will prosper forever. We saw off the CPC threat and that was far more serious. Trust me”. Morpheus certainly thinks this card will be a rip roaring success and demonstrate the fed’s strength and longevity. It’s got a supercard feel with all the special matches and it should avoid a glut of DQ outcomes. Becomes a shocker of a show for the Gladiators as you’ll read below. They went 0-3 with one of the outcomes being incredibly embarrassing.
Heavyweight champ, Paragon, hardly breaks a sweat in seeing off the challenge of Defender of the Realm. Can still scarcely believe we are seeing Paragon parading round the ring as champion. Pegasus had looked unbeatable. Paragon can write himself officially into the belt lineage if he can manage this defence. Won’t be easy against Defender though. A small number of fans are actually booing the challenger as they are unhappy Pegasus wasn’t given immediate rematch. It’s not Defender’s fault though. Problem is with his fragile mental state hearing stuff like this isn’t good for him. At least he has Commando Sam to watch his back. The pair of them have a love-hate relationship but Sam recognises the importance of this. His main aim is to stifle Thantos. Sam fails miserably in that respect as Thantos takes him out whilst Paragon was finishing the match with FINAL OVERTURE. What went before that was a few minutes of mostly Paragon dominating and showboating. Defender barely laid a glove and seemed hopelessly out of his depth. In the aftermath Paragon shows how consumed by greed he is. He already has 1 belt but wants more. He announces intentions to go after the IP belt too and arrogantly proclaims “success runs through my veins”. What must Bloodline be thinking about that?
The Colonizers take a strong win over Genesis in an Aethran Ultimate Escape match. Hot off the heels of their brilliant win in this type of match against Team CPC the Genesis team goes for it again against their main enemies. Vertigo says his team has turned the corner and are on the up. Mandrill was more than happy to oblige. A chance for his team to succeed where Team CPC failed. He is relieved that the UFSP is finally leaving his team alone. It’s 3 on 3 so two Colonizers miss out. The fall guys are Wraith and Painmaster. Mandrill doesn’t seem to have much respect for them nowadays. It’s typical of Mandrill though, he’s a user. Anyway the match becomes immediately dramatic. Literally taking less than a minute for Buck Steele to transform into Genocide. Vendetta actually stands up to Genocide quite well with he and Nefarus linking up for EMPIRE TRIUMPHANT. Nefarus failed to escape though and got ripped off the side of the cage. Genocide then went to town on him and shook the whole cage with power bomb plus before bursting through the cage door as the first escape. Nobody on the Colonizer side even dared try and stop him. Although behind you kind of felt with Genocide gone that the Colonizers now stood half a chance. Nefarus was hurt though and Max Shield went straight after him. Striking with MAXIMUM IMPACT and looking odds on to be the next escapee. Max wanted to do it in style and tries to climb out. Halfway up he suddenly flies backwards off the cage and lands on his head. There was no way that was a spontaneous reaction. Something had to of happened. DM on commentary is betting Sentry is stationed somewhere out of sight and has blasted him with the stun gun. Nefarus takes advantage of this and uses SCISSORDRIVER on Max before quickly exiting the cage. He didn’t care about style and rushes through the door. Poor Max is in a bad way for the next fall. Vendetta roughs him up big time and then hands off to Mandrill. Max missed a chance to tag out to Blizzard at this point. It’s madness as Blizzard is totally fresh but Max is caught up in the emotion of it all and tries to fight on. Mandrill destroys him. A series of Voltaic Stunners sends Max’s fatigue token count to dangerously high levels. Mandrill then nails a Prime Piledriver and casually walks out the door. Just Vendetta left in the cage for the Colonizers now. He has to deal with a fired up Blizzard and initially struggles against his energy. However Blizzard made mistakes and got into trouble. Vendetta subjects him to THE BIG FALL and makes for his escape. Blizzard desperately needed Max to do something to help him out. Sadly Max is wiped out and in no condition to. Vendetta successfully gets out the cage and puts the seal on a dominating Colonizer win. It’s not been a good year for the Colonizers but it’s ending on a high which is ominous for the future.
Wolf gets the better of old rival Mayhem in a Barbed Wire Cosmic Cage. A match that needs no introduction. It was total mayhem as you’d expect. Mayhem just loves these sort of matches. Whereas most guys will do all they can to stay off the barbed sides he actually enjoys it. The sight of his own blood as well as an opponent’s means it’s been a good match. Normally you’d be concerned for the poor guy set to go against him. However his opponent is longtime rival Wolf. He has no concerns and loves a hardcore setting almost as much as Mayhem. One of them was guaranteed to come out of this injured. The early offence was mostly dominated by Wolf. It’s as if Mayhem needed to bleed as he gets stronger in the match. However his penchant for taking risks comes back to bite him. Using an adapted version of LEAP OF DOOM he goes for a big finish only to miss by a country mile. Wolf doesn’t look back after this. A smash into the barbed sides is shortly followed by SAVAGE FACE CLAW. Mayhem now too weak to withstand the move and Wolf takes a brilliant victory. His rotten mid year run now seems a distant memory. Mayhem picks up the only injury of the match with the dice deciding it will last for 5 cards.
Rising Sun beats Draconian Sheik and Dark Justice in a Tirion Triple Threat match. Justice finally has a much needed stimulus. He’s been crying out for a match he can sink his teeth into. He lost a lot of momentum being strung along in that Wolfpack storyline. Fair play to Rising Sun for pitching himself into the middle of this. He is really showing he has the stomach for singles action even if it’s hardcore. Of course he misses his old mate, Dragonmaster, but life goes on. Mercifully he didn’t have to worry about the 2 villains ganging on him. Drac is too crazed to work with anyone. He is just randomly attacking both from the get go. It’s probably what helped Rising gain an incredible victory and continue building his growing singles reputation. He took a ferocious beating from Justice during the early phase and was struck with ROD OF JUSTICE. However Justice couldn’t finish him off thanks to Drac attacking. It gave Rising a lifeline and he fights his way back into the match. Lots more action took place but I’ll cut straight to the end. Justice got himself marooned outside the ring for a few short moments. Rising was thinking fast and went for SUNSET SPECTACULAR against Drac. It worked as he had just enough time to then pin Drac. Justice tried to smash Rising again with his rod in frustration but gets his arm bitten by the recovering Drac. Rising wisely leaves them to it and heads down the runway. The two losers are left to brawl wildly until a dozen or so armed security wade in.
The Rocketmen easily beats the Bounty Hunters in a Best of 3 match (2-0). Brainstorm’s despicable act of posing as the Demon Barber has really put this team feud back on the map. He was teasing with a small bag supposedly containing Nora Pelf’s hair and throwing it into the air. He later gets his comeuppance from none other Johnny Rocket himself. Brainstorm is thrown at his feet and Johnny stamps and then kicks him on the head. Then to loud cheers Nora comes out. Brainstorm is held in place by Twin Blood so she can have her wicked way. She decides to slap him repeatedly across the face. The entertainment is cut short by Disorder X. The new tag champs decide to help Brainstorm out and we get one big brawl to the back to bring all this to an end. With all that going on it’s almost forgotten what actually went on in the match itself. An easy win for the Rocketmen. First fall went the way of the Rocketmen. Grunge was pinned after a chaotic minute that saw him victim to TWICE BITTEN, DREGGS OF DEFEAT and a Maxus Moonsault by Dreggs. It was the last of those three big moves that pinned him. The final falls saw Skinhead get an extended run against Brainstorm and he easily beat him via BAD ATTITUDE. After that all the fun and games began. Brainstorm was left red faced, quite literally!
US. Traitor unconvincingly beats Dreadnaught. If anyone was wondering what Mangus’s stance on Dreadnaught is it soon becomes clear “he is pathetic and an embarrassment to the great civilisation of Cygnus”. He and Traitor have fought many times but both were now very different characters. The match was entertaining enough with Traitor being made to work for the win via TURNCOAT FLYER but it’s what happens after that gets all the coverage. US. Traitor is leaving. Mangus was not with him having departed for reasons unknown midway through the bout. Behind the ring curtain persons presumed to be the Code Enforcers wait. Traitor is nailed and all the crowd sees is him falling down and then being dragged back through the curtain by the unseen attackers (presumably for more punishment). He is found shortly after. All bloodied and drifting in and out of consciousness. This worked out well on the dice as I was thinking of doing something like this. So when the roll came out 1 and 3 I thought go for it. Just did this act instead of consulting Splatter and Vyper’s lottery chart.
Ursa Major defeated Thunder by DQ. Thunder is a definite singles superstar in the making. Anytime he has wrestled solo has looked impressive, going toe to toe with and beating many established stars. Here was just another glimpse of his capability. Ursa Major may not be biggest test but this Titan has taken on some new traits this year that make him tougher in the ring. Thunder would do well not to underestimate him. Brute is again at ringside making close observations. Lord Nexus doesn’t want a scene and keeps well away from Brute. He just encourages Ursa Major to get stuck in. Although chance would be a fine thing as Thunder tore him apart in the opening minutes. However Thunder should have gone for a finish sooner than he was planning because he made a mistake and ended up flying out the ring. Ursa Major pounced in that and tried SHOTGUN CRADLE a couple of times. Thunder produced big kick outs each time but lost composure after this. He started brawling rather than wrestling and got himself disqualified. Brute made no moves to distract the ref. His presence was kept to being observational. Am sure despite the result the Gladiators minds are made up to push him as the next big singles star.
Animen Invasion stunned Malice and Overkill. Is this a tease of the future official Gladiator tag team? Significantly Thunder is also on the card in a singles capacity. Malice and Overkill look a little awkward and are nowhere near as well drilled as the usual Gladiator tag team. Brute thoughtfully watches their every move. The cameras then pick up on Massacre deep within the crowd. He’s rarely been seen at GWF venues since becoming minister of war. The significance grows. It’s not expected to be much of a test as they went against Animen Invasion. The resident tag team bums but some teams have actually struggled to beat them convincingly. Malice and Overkill suffer a worse fate. The awkward start previously mentioned manifests itself into a period of concern as Son of Ram hits Malice twice with HORNS OF DEATH. He gets away with it and it’s assumed that the Gladiators will now get to work. Overkill gets some time in the ring but failed to make an impact. Malice was soon back in there but he was just as bad as before and remarkably goes down to ANIMEN FINISH. Brute walks off in disgust over this embarrassment. Has this disrupted the Gladiator plans?

GWF REPORT (THE END 2109 CARDS 1097 - 1100)
Champions
* GWF Heavyweight Champ: Paragon (Top Contender: Buck Steele) * GWF Tag Champs: Disorder X (Top Contenders: Twin Blood) * GWF Interplanetary Champ: Matador of M83 (Top Contender: Lance At-Las) * GWF Ladies Champ: Sniper (Top Contender: Supernova)
Latest News:
The Champions team is under the microscope. First there is the shocking loss of the tag belts to Disorder X. Now there are rumours circulating that Pegasus might not be at TEAM SUPREME? He’s gone into hiding in the last month after being so disappointed not to be given an immediate chance to win his belt back. He wanted to take the rest of the year off due to not handling it well. Star Warrior is desperate to have his top star available and will work on this right til the last minute. Remember this is an event the Champions team has never won. Star Warrior is desperate to break that duck but he desperately needs his top guy involved. With all due respect to Lance At-Las he is not likely to be up to the task in the same way. Plus Enigma, the supposed next big hero star, is in a terrible run with 5 consecutive losses.
Nobody is admitting to it but the Code Enforcers are prime suspects for the number done on US. Traitor. They have put him out of action for the remains of the year. There is no evidence to punish them though. The security camera was conveniently smashed from the side. Presumably a crowbar was the weapon of choice. Traitor suffered some head injuries and bruising to the ribs. He was also traumatised for a while when in hospital. He’d wake up in the night seeing things and disturbing other patients by claiming both the Code Enforcers were in the shadows waiting to attack him again. He even nearly assaulted a doctor trying to do a check up claiming he was one of them in disguise. That’s paranoia for you. I suppose for Traitor the end of the year cannot come soon enough now. A chance for a short rest over the holidays and start 2110 with a clean slate.
Thantos is struggling to keep Bloodline silent at the moment. The youngster didn’t take kindly to Paragon announcing he is going after more belts. Bloodline goes online and warns “back off, the IP belt is my domain. Thantos promised”. Paragon comes back at him quickly with “sorry to be the bearer of bad news but your blood is not pure. Thantos will never favour you over me”. Shortly after this the posts are mysteriously deleted but plenty of people saw them. Last thing Thantos wants is internal dissension within Team CPC. He’s already struggling with all the egos as it’s tough to keep Prodigy and Millenium happy. See what belt gold can do to a team. It’s not always healthy!
As for the IP belt. The Commissioner is not being drawn into any decisions. He seems keen to move onto new challengers and word is that he has very impressed by the recent form of Lance At-Las and wants to see a classic past feud showcased at the same time. Matador and Lance had some great battles during the first SUDDEN DEATH. So Morpheus will be leaning very heavily on the championship committee to give Lance the title shot. It’s a real chance for Lance to make a name for himself again what with this and his likely surprise inclusion at TEAM SUPREME in the Champions team line up. Shows how quickly your luck can change.
Commando Sam is wearing two hats at the moment. With his manager hat on he is a machine, letting nothing get in his way and interfere with the FDF plan to punish code breakers but with his hero hat on he is trying to still be a role model to young fans and a father figure to Ms. Liberty. It causes lots of inner conflict. He appears on the late night ROLL UP show and admits it is hard to carry out both personas and even says “I can kind of see why Defender of the Realm is so stressed all the time. He’s two different people”. However the sympathy ends there. In the same interview Sam changes from a peaceful looking sole to one overcome with rage at all the filth polluting the GWF. He remains determined to carry on his brutal war against all villains for as long as his heart beats “wars go on for years, we will keep fighting”. So that’s a pretty sure sign the FDF role won’t change in 2110. Assuming there still is a fed.
Maleph warns the UFSP not to go too far in the banning of Brymstonians from GWF shows. They were shut out twice this month. He says that fiery revenge will be taken if the bans continue. Commissioner Morpheus must have his head in his hands on hearing such threats. This is just the sort of ammunition President Cordanus needs to get the fed shut down. Let’s hope it’s just threatening speak and Maleph doesn’t follow it through.
Funny how things change over the course of a year. Star Warrior was in a weak position when it began but ends it in the running for the best manager gong. In fact the Champions team is pretty well positioned to clean up most of the major awards despite losing their belts in the blink of an eye. It will be a huge shock if Pegasus and Alpha Power don’t win wrestler and tag team of the year. This year we may see a booby prize awarded for the most disappointing wrestler. Is it really fair to name and shame such a guy?
Some pretty big meetings on the horizon. The Code Enforcers are satisfied they have done what they needed to do to Cygnus Strikeforce. Commando Sam now orders them to end 2109 in memorable fashion. Manslaughter will wrestle in the first ever Circinus Cell match and challenges any villain bike enough to face him. It’s guaranteed injury and there weren’t many takers. Am sure Mayhem would’ve been all over this if he wasn’t already injured. Eventually Heracles, fed up with being restrained to tag wrestling, decides it’s time to make a name for himself again and steps forward. Thantos granted him permission as it protects assets like Paragon and Bloodline. Will the top of the cell even be able to hold these two powerhouses? The second unknown Code Enforcer is instructed to finally silence Spike’s obsession with getting him unmasked. He will face the legendary Gladiator in what will be a wild Falls County Anywhere. These matches will take place on #1104 which is what will be the final card of the year.
Shock resonates on Aethra as Malice and Overkill suffers one of the biggest upsets in GWF history in losing to Animen Invasion. They have been told to report back to Aethra as soon as TEAM SUPREME is over for punishment. Will they make it back into the fed after this? Son of Ram isn’t shy about shouting from the rooftops “I told you we were better than Animal Pack. Stand back for the next Animen tag team champions”.
Finally some late breaking news! Paragon and Johnny Rocket have been spotted talking after the last show and witness accounts said they appeared quite chummy. Is there anything in this?
INJURED – US. Traitor (4), Mayhem (5); SUSPENDED – none
WRESTLER OF THE MONTH:
CODE ENFORCER MANSLAUGHTER - The Code Enforcers are just able to carry out any of Commando Sam’s instructions to the tee. This month they have terrorised Cygnus Strikeforce with Manslaughter standing out in particular. Surely he’s got the capability to win titles if Sam ever lets him off the leash in that respect.
TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH:
DISORDER X - Could not bring myself to give this Animen Invasion. Plus cannot ignore Disorder X's winning of the tag belts. It was totally unexpected given the unbeatable form Alpha Power had been in. They had to resort to some pretty dodgy tactics to do so but what a spectacle it was. Every red blooded male must of loved seeing Maxine Babe wearing next to nothing.

CARD 1101 – LUNA AUDITORIUM:
Massive heat as Mangus makes an unscheduled appearance in the middle of the show and burns the American flag inside the ring. This is close as you can get to Earth in terms of a GWF venue at the moment. Commando Sam was present as he was performing manager duties for Defender of the Realm. He comes flying out and they have a brawl that harks back to the days of 2079 which was the peak of their feud in the classics era. I toyed with grabbing the out of retirement charts and having them do a match there and then. However I am so disciplined about using charts when introduced and this option was still a few years off. For now they had a great brawl that really got the fans going but unfortunately did nothing to endear wrestling to the UFSP again! The Champions and Gladiators end all square at 6-6 in a Team Supreme Challenge. Being drawn against each other at the event itself is not enough. These two teams face off now in a dress rehearsal. The winning team will surely have a psychological advantage for the one that matters. There is no guarantee that the line ups or pairings will be exactly the same though. That will only be officially declared tomorrow. A curveball throws as Malice and Overkill is the tag team again here. The embarrassing loss to Animen Invasion does not seem to of changed the Gladiator plans. Thunder is wrestling singles along with Spike in the anchor leg. No Vengeance which is a huge surprise. Maybe he is being kept as fresh as possible for the big night. There’s similar surprise on the side of the Champions with no Pegasus. A chance for Lance At-Las and Enigma to make a name for themselves and step out of his shadow. As per the rules of these matches nobody was allowed to be at ringside … First up is Thunder and Enigma both getting disqualified. Enigma has been on a bad run but really brings it here. Really had Thunder scrambling with all his speed. Dished out plenty of offence that included a pinpoint hit with ENIGMA SUICIDA. Enigma almost blew it though as he kept trying for Feet of Fury which allowed Thunder to win a brawl outside the ring. However Enigma managed to wrestle back control only to collide with the ref on a deathjump move after getting uncharacteristically out of shape up there. The ref actually showed real resourcefulness to get up straight away but clearly didn’t see the funny side of what happened as he decided to disqualify both guys. Can’t believe I am saying this but that was harsh on Thunder. He was the innocent party. Judges can’t do much else other than to award a point each. Thunder warns Enigma in the aftermath “you’ll be squashed like gnat next time” … Alpha Power defeated Malice and Overkill. Much better from Malice and Overkill although they were very much second best. Overkill had a good power battle with Chaos and caused brief concern with TURNBUCKLE TRAP at one point. Either side of that Chaos was using his BOW OF DEFEAT to wear down both Gladiators. Malice also weakened by ALPHA POWER COMBO in the early stages of the match. Overkill had saved him there. In the end it wasn’t a big power move that finished it. Alpha Power executed a Moonsault on Overkill. Pretty spectacular to see. Means the Champions race into a 5-2 lead going into the anchor leg. Spike needs pretty much squash Lance to turn it around … Spike pinned Lance At-Las via MEGADESTROYER. Spike resists early pressure to beat Lance. There is much crowd discontent though as judges score 4-1 to Spike (extra point given due to team captaincy). Hadn’t seemed as if Spike was that dominant but I suppose the 5 tokens Lance had at the time of being pinned suggests maybe it was. Means match ends all square between the teams. Things nicely poised for TEAM SUPREME. The Gladiators will probably be favoured a little as this was a more experimental line up here. Mace defeated bitter rival Dreggs. Current tag partners cast aside so the two former friends can go at it one-on-one. They will meet yet again later in the month with the tag belts on the line. Mace is vowing to do huge damage to Dreggs here and make him think twice about showing up then. Fair to say both hate seeing the other holding the belts and having bragging rights. It adds even more heat to what is already a ferocious feud. Mace stokes things up by decreeing Dreggs has an unfair advantage with Johnny Rocket being outside “too scared to be on your own, why not man up and send that piece of garbage away?” Dreggs is never one to shirk a challenge. He has a slightly heated discussion with Johnny who then leaves. Mace blindsides Dreggs as he watches Johnny head down the runway. The way things were going it seemed a mistake not to make this a Titan Death match. The brawling was ferocious but fair play to the ref he lets it flow and contributes to a classic as he even took a bump and was laid out for 10 moves. Still he resisted calling for the bell. The pendulum just kept swinging. By the time Mace nailed Dreggs for the second time with MACE’S LITTLE HELPER they were both approaching ten tokens combined. That’s how good it had been. Sadly it was the wrong result though. Mace maintains his edge over his ex-partner although that could very soon be changed if Twin Blood wins the tag belts in a couple cards time. Lethal Lottery over Buck Steele and Blizzard by DQ. Buck will have a massive month ahead as he will tangle with the Heavyweight champ, Paragon, for the belt in the final show of the year. For now though Buck is thrust into tag duties with Blizzard against Lethal Lottery. Surprisingly he is really jumpy about the prospect of snakes coming near him. Vyper senses this and brandishes one which causes Buck to move like greased lightening and leave the ring. Would Genocide show the same fear if he morphs? Sadly we’ll never know. Blizzard has no intention of wrestling. He just went straight for the Terrorists and causes a massive scene. A huge brawl breaks out after barely any wrestling. Security wades in with tasers the moment weapons start coming. Amid frozen snowballs, billy clubs and Arsenal they manage to stop things before anyone gets seriously hurt. Blizzard is punished as the instigator of all this and his team disqualified. Match had been a complete dud. Second in a row like that.
Nora Pelf defeated Anaxis by DQ. Supposed to be Nora against Maxine Babe again. This time everyone gets to keep their hair. However Maxine is off on a fashion shoot. Her recent striptease has led to a flood of offers. Nora accepts a different opponent and gets lined up to face Anaxis instead. Technology has led to rapid hair growth techniques and so Nora is sporting a healthy head of hair again. Anaxis spitefully spends most of this short match trying to rip it out with her hands. He obsession with such an act draws the ire of the ref and he ends up disqualifying her. Awful booking.
Defender of the Realm deals with Painmaster. No Sentry at ringside. No featuring at TEAM SUPREME. Painmaster really is the forgotten man of the Colonizers. Maybe a dominant win over Defender of the Realm could remind Mandrill of his usefulness. Commando Sam accompanies Defender. The pair of them are being civil to each other lately and Sam wasn’t going to disappoint the high percentage of Earth fans who’d made the trip. He also knows he needs to be on hand to protect his troops at all times. Painmaster goes right after Defender and has all the offence in the opening minutes. Really looking to send a message to his boss. However he fails to go for his finisher and runs out of ideas. Defender is able to mount a comeback and knocks Painmaster silly with DEFENDER CANNON. Sam moves in to pat him on the back for a job well done but Defender blots his copybook by giving him a ner ner handshake and then blowing a raspberry in his face. Hopefully it was just a heat of the moment thing when Sam reacts by shouting “right that’s it, you’re on your own” and storms off. He wasn’t happy at being embarrassed so close to his home planet. Max Shield against Tortured Soul ends in a messy double DQ. Tortured Soul has given wrestlers a surprising amount of problems this year despite being a weak zombie character. Hopefully Max would know how to deal with him/it. Max is still not near the level he should be at although there have been a few highs this year. If wrestling goes on he will be desperate to shake off the biggest underachiever in history label by winning some belt gold. This match is just typical of his luck though. He had enough domination to win only for Tortured Soul to leave the ring. Max got sucked into following and a brawl broke out. Max’s grabbing of a chair was more a self defence move against bombardment from both Tortured Soul and Maleph. However the ref didn’t see it that way and disqualified both parties.

CARD 1102 – TEAM SUPREME – IO COLISEUM: No way Wolf was staying out of this event. Even though the Centaurians are short of a man he leans on Amazonia to speak with her friend, Lorelei. Knowing that he and Archon don’t get on so this is the best way. Lorelei is convinced to recruit a temporary member and opts for the Soulwatcher. Not the strongest wrestler but Archon likes the Soulwatcher. So was he was open to the suggestion. A reminder on the rules. Two singles bouts and one tag bout per match. Regular rules but nobody allowed at ringside. Judges will score each bout and award points up to a maximum of 4. Team captains always earn a bonus point assuming they score in the first place. Highest score at the end of the 3 bouts sees that team progress. So the highest total that can be accumulated is 13 which is very unlucky for any opposing team if that happens. If level then the tiebreaker is the team that won most bouts will go through. Or if that is level then an extra deciding bout will take place with judges deciding who will face off. Simple as that. Extra note is I don’t carry over fatigue into subsequent rounds. The reason is the whole event takes place over a weekend due to large number of matches and if someone wrestles twice in a day there is a large break in between.
The Draw (Team Captains in bold):
Team CPC (Paragon, Millennium, Bloodline)-FDF (Code Enforcer Unknown, Desolation Factor, Code Enforcer Manslaughter) … Colonizers (Wraith, Rebel Empire, Mandrill)-Fighting Titans (Mutant, Titan Attack, Rising Sun) … Code Destroyers (Daeman, Transformer, Mad Jester)-The Centaurians (Wolf, Archon and the Soulwatcher, Blade) … Gladiators (Malice, Thunder and Overkill, Spike)-The Champions (Enigma, Alpha Power, Lance At-Las) Extra Match:
Blazing Skull destroyed Sir Ender. What’s with this nincompoop? Sir Ender vows to vanquish Blazing Skull “I have already slain the feared Mutant, this satanic character will be no problem for a brave hero like me. He’s no better than the many fire breathing dragons I’ve dealt with in my time”. For about the first time ever the crowd is rooting for Blazing Skull. That’s how annoying Sir Ender is. He really could do with a personality transplant. The people of Volans must cringe everytime he is booked. Blazing has bigger fish to fry and seeks to get this finished as quick as possible. Sir Ender tried to take initiative with a choke slam. Blazing just reversed it and did it to him instead. He waits for Sir Ender to get up and delivers a Skull Head Crack to leave him seeing stars. Takes just 3 more moves to get it won. A deathjump gives the win an air of the spectacular. Sir Ender was out for the count. To hurry things along ringside officials bundle him onto a stretcher so the proper festivities can get started. Sir Ender couldn’t even do that right. He wasn’t strapped down and ended up falling off it halfway down the runway. First Round:
Team CPC eliminates FDF by a 7-4 scoreline. A brilliant victory for the CPC. Surprising given their awful start. Whatever happens now the whole team will be sure to receive bonuses from Magnus Colby. Beating the FDF would have been their highest priority. However if they actually go all the way and win the whole thing I’d imagine they’ll all be set for life … Code Enforcer Unknown shocks Paragon to give FDF a strong start. Paragon is obviously making the most of being Heavyweight champion. That belt is rarely off his waist or shoulder. He insists on wearing it on route to the ring even though it has no relevance here. He expects the fans to hail their great champion but is met with radio silence. Perhaps he should have been concentrating on getting the job done here instead rather than fishing for respect. He slumps to a surprise defeat. Was all going to plan with early domination only for the unknown Code Enforcer to take to the outside in a bid to stem the offensive tide. When Paragon followed the Code Enforcer was ready for him. He buried Paragon into a ring post. Gets away with it and instantly directs the action back to the ring where upon he uses HEADS WILL ROLL. He might be about as surprised as anyone when it ends in a successful pin. Disaster for Team CPC as their captain fails to score so no bonus point earned. FDF take a commanding looking 2-0 lead … Millenium keeps the contest ticking by beating Desolation Factor. Seemed it was taking too long for Millenium to get up to speed. Heracles was a plaything of Desolation Factor for the first few minutes. However much like the last match the tide turns due to an out of ring brawl. Heracles then smashes Ruin with OLYMPIA. Not a succesful pin but he then hands off to Colussus who deals ROBOTIC DEATHBLOW. Rack’s attempt to interfere and help Ruin goes badly. He just ends up dealing more damage to his partner with a botched splash. Millenium’s efforts means the overall match is now tied 4-4 and it’s down to a decider … Bloodline makes surprisingly short work of Code Enforcer Manslaughter. Massive chance for Bloodline to finally deliver and impress his bosses. Who better to beat than Code Enforcer Manslaughter. He wrestles a great match as he deals with the early intensity of Manslaughter and pounces the first opportunity he gets. He dishes a Nebula Knee Breaker and a cruel snake eyes roll means that Manslaughter is beaten and the FDF tumbles out of the tournament.
Fighting Titans cause a stir as they knock out the Colonizers. Bit of a drubbing for the Colonizer team as they lose 9-4. Wraith is welcomed back to the fold but Painmaster was frozen out again. He obviously doesn’t have much respect for himself to settle for that. As it turns out Wraith is the only Colonizer to register a victory as the big guns Mandrill and Rebel Empire bomb spectacularly … Wraith annihilated Mutant. Unsurprisingly Wraith creamed Mutant. Almost won it under 5 moves with two pinning attempts. One of which followed PHANTOM JACKHAMMER. In the end Wraith has to dish about another couple minutes bombardment to put Mutant down for good. That happened after a Now You See It Clothesline. Long way back already for the Titans as are behind 4-0 after that … Titan Attack win a gripping match over Rebel Empire. The Titans are still alive in the overall match after this. Rebel Empire was not at the races. Nefarus kept getting bogged down with trash talk and paid the price. He felt every possible finishing move the Titans had in their repertoire. Thought he’d gotten away with it as they failed to pin him for a variety of reasons. Rebel Empire then had a strong period and looked to steal an undeserving win via EMPIRE TRIUMPHANT on Scion Nexus. Scion has Ursa Major’s brave pin save to thank. Nefarus was angry the big chance was missed and it probably played a part in his sloppiness when tossing Scion into a turnbuckle. He ran straight into a boot and looked punch drunk after that. Scion quickly went for it with THE RISE AND FALL. Rebel Empire was all out of pin saves and Nefarus had lots of fatigue from earlier. So there was no surviving that. It was a great match and the judges agreed with their generous scoring of 4-2 in favour of the Titans. It meant the Colonizers led 6-4 going into the last match … Rising Sun squashed Mandrill. Normally a DQ win wouldn’t be enough to claw back a 2 point margin but the way scoring works with team captains it meant Rising Sun could take the Titans through with that. So basically whoever won here would take the whole match. Plenty of pressure. However nobody told Rising as just goes for it and has Mandrill beat with SUNSET SPECTACULAR in a mere 4 moves. Astonishing outcome that takes the Titans through.
Code Destroyers crush the Centaurians by a 8-2 margin. Could the unfancied Centaurians get something out of this? Doomsayer’s team of freaks haven’t really set things alight and have been very much in the shadow of Team CPC. One things for sure, whoever progresses will be massive underdogs in the next round with the opponents set to be either the Champions or the Gladiators. Anyway it’s the Code Destroyers who earn the right to face one of those with a dominant sweeping win… Daeman over Wolf by DQ. Strange to see Daeman without Hydrax. They usually come as a package deal but Doomsayer was never going to choose the Ninja Assassins over Transformer. Daeman is not intimidated by Wolf’s ferocious howling and comically calls it “nothing more than a mating call”. He soon regrets saying that as Wolf rips into Daeman the moment the bell goes. Somehow despite two early stints in SAVAGE FACE CLAW Daeman sneaks a DQ victory. He manages to hold out and seek solace outside the ring. Wolf wasn’t shy in coming after him and paid the price for that by the ref’s decision. Archon would have been watching and exasperated by Wolf’s lack of control. It was critical that Wolf didn’t blow that. Especially in his role as team captain but now the Centaurians trail by a point … Transformer beats Archon and the Soulwatcher to catapult the Code Destroyers into an unassailable 5-1 lead. Archon and Soulwatcher are two peas in a pod with their high morals. Would that be enough against Doomsayer’s monstrous creations? Sadly not. They give a decent effort but the Soulwatcher is overwhelmed by Nth Degree and beaten by PIN USING ROPES. Turns last into a dead rubber as the Centaurians are now eliminated … Mad Jester completes the sweep over Blade. Unfortunately Blade cannot restore pride for his team. A positive start made which saw BLADE OF RETRIBUTION connecting but failing to get the pin. Jester comes back into it and after a lengthy tussle beats Blade with his illegal A DEAD MAN’S VERSE. Just wasn’t the Centaurians night. They got no breaks.
The Gladiators see off the Champions 6-5. Fiendishly difficult draw for the Champions especially with no Pegasus. A lot has been made of the team never winning this event and with him missing the chances to end that drought is greatly diminished. However there were also problems on the Gladiator side as Spike made the cut over Vengeance. Apparently Vengeance threatened Brute and Massacre on learning he was not being involved. The tag team line up is switched to the more familiar Thunder and Overkill. No one match was the same as the ones last week … Malice gets the better of Enigma. Two guys with great potential but plagued with inconsistency over the years. That’s where the similarity ends. Styles in the ring very different. The speed of Enigma gives Malice some trouble initially. Then the powerful young Gladiator got a proper hold of him and some hefty moves slowed Enigma right down. Malice then takes the full risk in going for FIELDS OF MALICE and Enigma was not getting up from that. Early lead for the Gladiators of 3-1 after that … Thunder and Overkill too strong for Alpha Power. Seems as if this is the last chance for this incarnation of the Gladiator tag team to make its mark. They are very hungry and just storm the ring and start brawling. Alpha Power responds in kind. Takes a few minutes to settle down. Unfortunately Alpha Power since losing the tag belts seems to be in free fall. They ultimately lose when the Gladiators perform DECAPITATOR on Alpha Force. A very damaging defeat as it means the Champions are already eliminated and their winless run in this event continues. They are 6-2 down in the scoring heading into the last leg. Hopefully Lance can give the scoring some respectability … Lance At-Las defeats Spike as they meet again. Spike was hoping to set an example to the younger Gladiators by beating Lance once more. However he slips up badly. Lance managed to get revenge for that last match by beating him after MARS MANHANDLER. Good job for Spike that nothing was riding on it. The final score of 6-5 makes the overall match look much closer than it really was. Second Round:
Team CPC get the job done over Fighting Titans 6-3. The uneasy alliance between Team CPC and the Colonizers was almost tested to the max. They looked odds on to face each other until the Titans pulled off a shocking win over the Colonizers. Could the Titans upset the apple cart again? They are flying the flag for the heroes as all the others have bombed out. Lord Nexus hopes his team will do them proud but recognises they are huge underdogs … Bloodline pinned Rising Sun. Unbelievable Bloodline gets another snake eyes roll after Nebula Knee Breaker. This time it was really against the run of play. Rising was so confident after squashing Mandrill in the last round and totally dominant. Bloodline kept trying agility based moves against Rising which were always reversed. So kept handing the offence back to Rising. During the match Rising went for SUNSET SPECTACULAR twice only to be left frustrated by Bloodline’s kick outs. Then when Bloodline got a little offence going he made it count with the Knee Breaker move. Judges reflect the closeness of the match though by awarding Bloodline 3 points and Rising 2 points (bonus point for being team captain being taken into consideration) … Paragon overcomes Mutant. Paragon can’t believe his luck. In an event of this magnitude you cannot get an easier opponent than Mutant. It was a great chance for Team CPC to put the this to bed with a match to spare. Paragon achieves that although did make slightly hard work of it. His feared FINAL OVERTURE failed him twice. Instead it was a Cobra Clutch Suplex that eventually beats Mutant. Team CPC moves to a 6-2 lead and cannot be beaten now. Best Titan Attack can do is bring the scores level. In that event the team with the most outright wins progresses and Team CPC lead in grant respect 2-0 … Titan Attack over Millenium by DQ. Titan Attack emerges with a great tournament performance despite the exit of the Titans. Ursa Major comes flying out the blocks and almost pins Colussus straight away. Follows up that hot start with TITAN VICTORY ROLL which lead Heracles to pile into the ring preventing the embarrassing pin fall loss. Instead happy to take a DQ defeat.
The Gladiators annihilate the Code Destroyers 7-0. Doomsayer is mindful of making an enemy of the Gladiators. He says “we are going out to win but we always respect the Gladiators and hope if it cannot be us that wins the tournament that it will be them”. Such spineless words and given that Team CPC waits for the winning team will not endear him to the likes of Thantos and his benefactor Magnus Colby. Perhaps it’s just as well for him that the Code Destroyers are eliminated and he dodged an awkward situation. However he won’t have enjoyed the manner of the defeat. It was humbling and out of his team only Mad Jester was up to the task … Malice sets the Gladiators on their way by beating Daeman comfortably. Daeman was lucky to beat Wolf in the last round. He comes nowhere near repeating that feat. Malice superior in every department and able to put him away after The Wasteland. Code Destroyers already up against it at 3-0 down … Mad Jester against Spike ends double DQ. Spike has no time for the Jester’s tomfoolery. He’s in a bad mood for losing to Lance At-Las yesterday. An immediate clothesline lets Jester know how he feels. However his rage is fatal as Spike soon missed a turnbuckle smash and really hurt his shoulder. Moments after this he found himself entangled in the ropes and subjected to A DEAD MAN’S VERSE from which he barely kicked out. Jester was all over him now and inflicting further serious damage via Jagged Edge Standing Kick. Spike was in big trouble but uses all his experience by playing for a DQ. It’s a cruel necessity. In going outside and grabbing a chair he gets Jester to take the bait. Jester arms himself with one too and the ref had no choice but to rule a double DQ. Judges are so disgusted at the actions they fail to award any points … Thunder and Overkill destroyed Transformer. Quite a collection of size and power. Thunder is the small man and he’s not exactly found wanting in the power department. The Gladiators know it will take quite a dominant victory for Transevolver to eliminate them. Maybe playing for a tactical DQ loss might be on their minds again. However it never becomes a consideration. Monad made an immediate mistake and Thunder makes him pay by pinning him in just 2 moves with a Thunder Moonsault. What was really entertaining was Nth Degree trying to break the pin only to be intercepted by Overkill who smashed both its heads together. So the Gladiators win easily overall and we have a mouth watering final as they now take on Team CPC later in the evening. Final:
Team CPC edges the Gladiators 7-6 to take the trophy. Despite a lack of success throughout the year the cream inevitably rises to the top and the stars of Team CPC and the Gladiators contest this final. It’s importance is on a par with OTB and holding belts as the winners can say they are the best team. Individual accolades take a backseat. This would be a war from start to finish. Behind the scenes Massacre was making Magnus Colby twitchy with tactical threats earlier in the day. Suggesting that if Team CPC dares to defeat the Gladiators then Planet Colby might just make it onto the Aethran Armada’s hit list. Colby nervously posts onto Spacebook “we won’t rollover, he’s bluffing”. They certainly didn’t do that as the whole thing went to the wire. Paragon had stuttered all the way up to the final but ends as the star as he wins the crucial match … Millenium over Thunder and Overkill by DQ. Intense opener. Thunder and Overkill hold early sway. Thunder always tries to start fast and puts the Gladiators in box seat. They then combine for DECAPITATOR on Heracles. Colussus dares to interrupt likely victory by attacking Thunder as he covered. Thunder goes after Colussus and ends up outside the ring where he is almost counted-out. Instead he got ambushed by a recovering Heracles. This put Millenium right back in the match and they seem to have the Gladiators rattled. So much so that Overkill gets himself stupidly disqualified. He’d clamped Colussus in a bear hug only to then throw him over the rope. He just wanted to cause injury instead of claiming a points scoring victory. Colussus was hurt but had enough in him to fight his corner when closed in on whilst out there. He pushes Overkill back only to then get grabbed and smashed into the nearest object which happened to be the timekeeper’s table. Colussus’s robotic side of the head dented the table. The ref bravely decided enough was enough and called the DQ. So an early lead for Team CPC albeit a minor one. A single solitary point scored … Spike wins a brilliant contest with Bloodline. Spike’s had an event to forget so far. Where better to start delivering than the final. It’s an incredible match. Both caused considerable damage to one another and had near misses with their big finishers. Was impossible to call. DM on commentary confidently predicts “it’s been amazing to see these guys withstand such dangerous moves but whoever strikes with their finisher for a second time will surely win, it’ll be too much to take”. He was right on the money as Spike managed to launch a final big wave that defied his ageing body. Delivers MEGADESTROYER again and this time Bloodline cannot respond. Even though not many fans were supporting either team they showed their appreciation for this battle by applauding. Most importantly so did the judging panel. They are generous in their awarding of points. Spike picked up 4 (inclusive of the bonus captain’s point) and Bloodline gets 2. It means the contest is delicately poised for the final decider. The Gladiators narrowly lead 4-3 but Team CPC is still to play their captain’s card … Paragon edges Malice to win the whole tournament for his team. Couldn’t have been scripted better that it comes down to a match like this. Whoever wins, no matter how, takes the trophy for their team. Malice’s form has been up and down more than a yo-yo ever since his debut a few years ago. However he could be an Aethran hero if he did the business. What a contrast to a few weeks ago when he was reportedly being lashed publicly inside the War Dome for his part in the Animen Invasion loss. Shows no sight of nerves on trooping to the ring. That’s a weak Aethran trait. Whilst Paragon for all his arrogant bravado looks a little tense. He pulls at his bow tie as if it is too tight on his walk down the runway. He’s looked far from the champion that he is so far in this event. However there is always time to step up and he finally does. Having to withstand a difficult start. Malice was taking a leaf out of Thunder’s book and going for an explosive high energy opening. It works well enough to give him a chance to go for FIELDS OF MALICE. Fatally he goes for riskier +4 variant. It doesn’t happen often but he misses. It totally swings the match. Paragon knows all Gladiators have great powers of recovery so he better go for the kill quick. His first attempt at FINAL OVERTURE sees Malice get to the ropes. Undeterred Paragon immediately tries again and its potency is such that people rarely survive. Malice is no exception and the Gladiators are beaten. Team CPC reigns supreme. Thantos just seems to have the Midas touch. Even in a year where his team didn’t look all conquering he still ends it managing the Heavyweight champion and having won this prestigious event. Also not forgetting the OTB singles bracket which Paragon also won.

CARD 1103 – LUNA AUDITORIUM: Penultimate show. It’s nearly that time of year again and Santa Wolf is back in the time honoured tradition. He’s in festive mood. Along with Archon (who could pass for Father Christmas if he had a bigger belly) they are handing out goodies from a large sack. It was good to see them put their differences aside to work together and provide some joy. That’s until President Cordanus becomes a party pooper. The UFSP controls the security at most sporting events in the civilised cosmos and he instructs them to confiscate all presents and remove Wolf and Archon. There is a small cheer when Wolf smashed one of the heavies with his sack and they went down like a lead balloon. But it didn’t do much to cover up this ugly scene. There was a worrying period where it sounded like Wolf may of been arrested for the assault although that proved to be a false rumour. Apparently the reason security swooped was because Wolf was banned by Cordanus and being Santa was his way of getting round it. Aside from all that this was a pretty special show. Belts galore being contested. Twin Blood immediately relieve Disorder X of the tag titles. Lord knows how the championship committee is working out its top contenders. Millenium recently beat Twin Blood so will be aggrieved to be below them in the pecking order. Only thing is that Commissioner Morpheus is still not keen on villain against villain or hero against hero matches. So that undoubtedly went against Millenium. Plus Twin Blood do have a great head to head record against Disorder X. Should Twin Blood fail then Titan Attack might be licking their lips. Their great performances at TEAM SUPREME won’t have gone unnoticed. Unfortunately they are probably going to have to wait as Twin Blood somehow emerges with the belts despite being on the end of more punishment in the match. Mace is particulary influential and initiates most of the offence for his team. Twin Blood has to find a way to survive DECIMATION and MACE’S LITTLE HELPER. Not that the it slows the bombardment at all. Grunge seeks to finish Dreggs off with Total Disorder. A new double team move Disorder X has introduced to their repertoire. Although it can easily go wrong they manage to get it right here and seems Dreggs cannot take much more after this. Mace arrogantly stands on his chest for the pin attempt only to be driven wild with rage as Dreggs gets a shoulder up. Mace responds by picking his old partner up by the hair and throwing him violently through the middle of the ropes. You got the sense Mace was losing his composure. He waits on Dreggs to return to the ring. Inexplicably he lines him up for a deathjump next (spurning the power move choice on his card). Dreggs is hurt but has a sense of what is going on. Plays possum. Mace leaps clumsily off the turnbuckle and crashes into mat as Dreggs moves. Dreggs then crawls over to the stunned Mace and covers. The crowd erupts as Mace kicks out too late. Twin Blood are the champs again! Post match disharmony from within Disorder X as Mace blames Grunge for failing to make a pin save. A sign of things to come perhaps. Mace is not an easy guy to work with just ask Dreggs. He isn’t happy with Maxine Babe either. She did very little to help this time around and Mace says he is unlikely to use her again. She can go back to Brainstorm. Interplanetary champ, Matador of M83, easily defends against Lance At-Las. Paragon’s interest in the belt is totally ignored by the championship committee. That’s a relief to Bloodline (and probably Thantos too). However Bloodline’s demand for another title shot was also glossed over. Commissioner Morpheus didn’t even give it a thought merely stating “you had your chance and blew it, you’ll have to earn another shot by rebuilding your ranking”. Instead Lance At-Las is rewarded for his strong run of form. Bit of sickener for Lance though as he was so second best to his old rival and beaten in just a couple of minutes via BULLWHIP. Reynard B. Guile excitedly enters the ring and intercepts the ref’s handing of the belt back to the Matador. He also grabs a mic. Holding aloft the belt he says “this piece of gold is nice to have but we have higher aims. I want to manage a Heavyweight champion. So on behalf of the Matador I issue a challenge to Paragon to put the title on the line before the end of the year. He says he wants the Interplanetary belt so here’s a chance to win it”. Before B. Guile has finished the Matador has just left him to it. He has no interest in fulfilling B. Guile’s ambitions. B. Guile gets all defensive on Spacebook in the aftermath and calls claims that he is meddling as utter balderdash. He cannot see the writing on the wall. His days of managing the Matador are surely numbered. Ladies champ, Sniper, overcomes Supernova with alarming ease. Supernova is shooting for the top again. It’s been over a year since she last held the belt. Except she is really sluggish. Vanity, on commentary, jokes “maybe someone slipped some sleeping pills in her energy drink”. Whatever the reason it was one of her worst ever performances in a wrestling ring. Got absolutely nothing going. Sniper was hitting her perpetually with TARGET PRACTICE. I counted about 6 times in all. I suppose the one positive about Supernova is her refusal to be beaten. Kept going. However those fatigue tokens were rising. Sniper then decides to change approach and go aerial. From the top rope she connected with a perfect cross body block. Almost rolling right through but she got the leg hooked and leaned into the pin. Supernova was unable to burst free and her dreams of regaining the belt are ended.
Dark Justice and Mike Fortune upsets Alpha Power with a DQ win. Alpha Power are being busy boys this month. I guess it’s the best way to get over the shock loss of their tag titles. They were expecting to be facing Third Planet but Justice joins Mike Fortune instead. Maybe Tough Guy has gone AWOL again. Becomes a surprisingly competitive match. The most exciting part was when Chaos was struck with ROD OF JUSTICE but Alpha Force stormed the ring and triggered a brawl that gave momentum to Chaos. The big man punished Justice for doing that with an unrelenting run of BOW OF DEFEAT. Tries to then spoon feed the victory to Alpha Force by tagging him in. However Alpha Force is slow on the uptake and lets Justice and Fortune off the hook. The frantic action goes on for several more minutes. Chaos comes back into the action but cannot find the same level of domination he had earlier. Got in trouble against Justice and looked like he might be pinned after Judicial Forearm. It’s been a potent move for Justice over the years. Alpha Force goes for the pin save again. Only this time he grabs Justice’s rod which was sitting under a rope on the apron. It’s a crowd pleasing moment as he smashes Justice over the head with it but it doesn’t do his team much good as Alpha Power is disqualified. Amazing how a team that were so dominant just a few weeks ago are now in a huge slump.
Vengeance gets lucky to beat Blizzard by DQ. Vengeance’s bit part role continues as he again engages in another match low down the card. Buoyed by the shock win over the Gladiators recently Animen Invasion tried to sabotage the match. It’s their way of dealing with filth and trying to audition for a spot in the FDF. Blizzard deals with them both via a couple of well aimed ice balls. The crowd cheers and even Vengeance enjoyed it. He offers up a high five to Blizzard only to suddenly stab him in the throat. Well and truly suckered. Vengeance is just bad to the bone. Blizzard refuses to give him the satisfaction of showing too much pain. It must of been hard to draw breath but he forces himself to stand and shocks Vengeance with a Hailstorm Headrammer. Vengeance is just hanging on for the remainder of the bout. Blizzard obliterated him with ICE ATTACK before long only to be cruelly denied victory. Some refs turn a blind eye to the move but this guy wasn’t having none of it and disqualified Blizzard for the move.
Skinhead beats Prodigy by count out. A year to forget for Prodigy. Could be made even worse if he loses to his old partner again. There isn’t much solidarity within Team CPC as Thantos snubs being at ringside. A spit straight in the eye to start from Skinhead shows just how much contempt still exists. Skinhead then goes on to have the measure of Prodigy again. The contest last barely a few minutes when Prodigy, like a spoiled child, decides to take a walk and get counted-out. He didn’t like how it was going or being covered in Skinhead’s saliva from the repeated spitting. He is heartily booed for such a cowardly action. Skinhead doesn’t even bother going after him. Just stood there and let Prodigy humiliate himself. It might not be the last time they square off but it was kind of symbolic. In a way, Skinhead won this entire feud tonight.

CARD 1104 – DEIMOS INTERGALACTIC ARENA: Final card of the year (hopefully not the last one ever). Commissioner Morpheus still thinks he can wave a magic wand and all the fed problems will disappear. His mantra is to stack the cards and show the immense popularity of wrestling. Spent a lot of time tweaking this show. Anyway the Brymstonians were banned here. There was also an in ring interview included with Vengeance. Dragonmaster leaves the commentary booth to speak with him. He carefully phrases his questions but chiefly wants to know why Vengeance was not at TEAM SUPREME. Vengeance says “I’ve had a lot on my mind leading the Gladiator team. There are changing roles ahead and I wanted to try new line ups”. DM has to quickly end the interview when he suggests that maybe the decision was not his but taken by Brute and Massacre instead. Vengeance gives a sick smile and warns any more antagonising will end with the Eye Cleaver to leave yet more permanent scars on DM’s face.
Heavyweight champ, Paragon, easily defends against Buck Steele. Paragon cannot stop rubbing it in. Another week posting immaculate pics of himself on Spacebook with one liners about how great he is. He arrogantly says Pegasus must be green with envy seeing him with the Heavyweight belt and also the TEAM SUPREME and OTB trophies in one post. Even suggesting Pegasus chickened out of the latest event as he didn’t want to be shown up again. However his arrogance turned to fear when he learned he could be facing the out of control Genocide. He was alerted to the news when someone responded to one of his posts. Not many posts get through as he has something in place to filter out the abuse. Paragon responds “what are they playing at making me face that savage, he is a neanderthal”. The incessant posts stopped after this news. There was no wriggling out for Paragon though. It’s a match Commissioner Morpheus has been keen to see as these two have tangled before. He’s been a bit economical with the rankings to make it happen. Unfortunately Buck Steele doesn’t give much of a challenge or change into Genocide. Well he did but it was all too late. Paragon dominated the few minutes the match lasted and puts Buck away with FINAL OVERTURE. Looks very relieved he didn’t face the hulking Genocide. With Buck on the floor beaten Paragon boots him in the side in a demeaning move before leaving. What a mistake that was. It triggers the transformation. Paragon was blissfully unaware and got halfway down the runway when he receives a tap on the shoulder. He turns around and gets all tongue tied with Genocide stood before him. He was right in the brown stuff now. Genocide picks him up in a choke lifting him off the ground. Paragon is a huge man himself but was being made to look very small. Thantos tries and fails to get the grip released. Genocide carries Paragon against his will back to the ring. Tossed him back in and proceeds to pick up him in the same way before delivering the mother of all choke slams. The ring shook violently. Even though the match was long finished Genocide covers and mockingly slaps the mat with the crowd counting with him. He then celebrates as if he’s the champion. However he couldn’t get possession of the Heavyweight belt as Thantos had made sure that was out of sight and had taken it to the sanctuary of the locker room. In doing so he had left Paragon exposed. Hopefully that won’t cause any animosity as Thantos clearly showed what he values the most. Paragon eventually recovered from the assault looking humiliated. He stumbled back down the runway and was constantly checking over his shoulder just in case Genocide might surprise him again. Code Enforcer Unknown defeated Spike in a Falls County Anywhere match. As is the case with all falls county anywhere matches this is chaotic. Plenty of ringside furnishings are damaged and the action goes around the visible arena. Both guys have their moments on top. That was until the unknown Code Enforcer succeeded with HEADS WILL ROLL in the aisle and it led to a pin in that area. He had earlier tried the move inside the ring but Spike withstood it. Despite the win he didn’t get a chance to enjoy it. Within moments all the Gladiators appeared apart from Vengeance and started beating on him. There was nobody to save the Code Enforcer as Manslaughter had immediately left the arena after his gruelling match. The unknown Code Enforcer is forcibly unmasked. Disappointingly he truly is an unknown. Many thought it would be Talisman but this was a young man nobody had seen before. He was left in the aisle by the satisfied Gladiators. This unknown man takes a while to pick himself up and grabs his torn mask. He doesn’t even bother trying to put it back on. Simply stumbles away. Everyone wonders who he is. Guess Commando Sam will reveal all at the 2110 press conferences. If they even take place? Code Enforcer Manslaughter gets the better of Heracles in a Circinus Cell match. This has been built up to be the new most dangerous match in the GWF. The kind you’d watch through your fingers. Which is really something when considering all we’ve seen over the years. The ongoing problems with Cordanus is why it hadn’t made it to the live shows until now. In the end Manslaughter wins despite being trampled all over by both Millenium members when at the top of the cage. He was beaten black and blue before being thrown back through the trap door. That was wild and would have finished most men off but Manslaughter has shown so many times how incredible he is and this was no different. He hauls himself up with the help of the cage and when Heracles fatally dawdled in coming back down after him and it allows Manslaughter to grab a miniature crowbar strapped to the inside of his suit. He nails Heracles with it. Colussus considers lifting himself down to help his partner some more but on spotting the crowbar thinks better of it. After that Manslaughter takes over. Over the course of a few minutes he used his finishers several times before HEADS WILL ROLL eventually rendered Heracles unconscious. Vanity on commentary was crying foul over the usage of the crowbar. DM said Heracles deserved it “it was payback for Colussus getting involved, nobody does that to the Code Enforcers”. Third Planet over Dreadnaught and Maelstrom by DQ. Just weeks after describing Dreadnaught as pathetic and embarrassing Mangus now arranges for Maelstrom to team with him. Filling in for the injured US. Traitor. Really is out of sight, out of mind with regards Traitor. Maybe Mangus is thinking of replacing him. Surely it wouldn’t be with Dreadnaught though. Whatever the reasons it’s clear Mangus has got Dreadnaught eating out of his hands such is the desire of the ailing legend to be involved in matches. On the other side Tough Guy is back after missing last weeks match. Nobody elaborates. Anyway it was a decent contest. Maelstrom took ferocious punishment in the opening minutes and felt both of the Third Planet guys finishers. It meant Dreadnaught had to pick up the baton. The plan had been not to use him much if possible. Surprisingly he gets a bit of offence in and a Superpunch Howitzer floored Mike Fortune. He just about has the wherewithal to roll outside the ring. Despite this Mangus has zero confidence in Dreadnaught maintaining control and decides to attack Fortune on the outside triggering a DQ outcome. Things get heated after this and a brawl breaks out that includes both Mangus and Krakan too. All pretty entertaining but soon broken apart by security.
Thrash defeated Amazonia by DQ. If you’re into ladies wrestling this is always a ratings winner. Over the years they have traded wins but Amazonia probably has the edge. Tonight it goes the way of Thrash as she ends the year on a high. A very even tussle eventually starts going out the ring more and more. Amazonia shows her savage side by making a grab for her shield and striking Thrash with it. That caused the disqualification. Thrash didn’t take kindly and comes back with a spike wrenched from one of her shoulder pads. Amazonia was saved by the bell which was ringing to alert security. They diffused the situation before it might get horribly bloody. It wouldn’t be the first time tonight that the security team would be called into action. Titan Attack easily beat Animen Invasion albeit by DQ. The Animen put back in their place by the in form Titans. They barely got a look in and spent most of their time picking themselves up off the floor. Son of Ram got so frustrated that he tried to gore a poor ringside official that got in his way after he’d scrambled out of the ring. Instant DQ. Shows the Animen win against the Gladiators really was a fluke and they are light years away from challenging for the tag belts. What was also good is that we wouldn’t be hearing a peep out of Son of Ram for a while.
