Card 807 - Nereid Starplex: Raven wins a classic over Chaos to become new Heavyweight champ. With Sam still missing Mesmer emerges from the shadows to keep an eye on this. Very stark contrast to Sam though. He stands silently with an evil stare. Still questions being raised about the whereabouts of Sam but there have been some leaks suggesting that he is ready to return soon. Possibly at the next event. Raven warns Mesmer not to get involved. If he ruins his big title shot WAR are not shy about coming after the Stormtroopers and giving them a big problem. Not sure if the rest of the team will be happy to hear Raven picking and choosing their feuds for them though. The match starts but Raven is immediately getting too distracted by the presence of Mesmer. With Destructon 3000 staying out of the way lest he become a target for another attack there is nobody to help keep Raven focused. But with all his experience Raven really needed to snap out of it unless Mesmer was somehow getting into his mind. Chaos mauls him in the early stages and Raven is quickly up to 6 tokens after a few stints in BOW OF DEFEAT. Looks really bad for him but then someone in the crowd hurls something which hits Mesmer in the head. It breaks his concentration and suddenly inside the ring Raven snaps out of his daze. Chaos looks alarmed as Raven fights back hard. Helped by the Alpha Stone losing its power Raven manages to use BROADSWORD three times in all. The final one puts the big man down hard and Raven gets an improbable pin. Chaos doesn’t take long to pick himself up and in his rage at losing rips the ropes out of the turnbuckles destroying the entire ring. He cannot believe the outcome and struggles to calm down. Chaos immediately warns Raven he will be back for the title in the post match interview. The poor guy doing the interviewing was trembling throughout. Mesmer, who is stood with Chaos, also grants a rare interview. He calls the actions of the fans deplorable and says attitudes towards him are wrong. Thinks this is all nothing more than a glorified witch hunt. Both Chaos and Mesmer then storm off with audible threats continuing to be directed towards Raven. Ladies champ, Supernova, takes a smash and grab win over Thrash. When the women’s division was introduced well over a year ago nobody could of imagined its title belt to be so stable. Supernova didn’t take long to capture it and she has reigned supreme ever since. Thrash has already had several shots at it and failed miserably every time which hasn’t helped her standing on Aethra. Her chance has rolled round again. She vows this time things will be different but we’ve heard it all before. The television cameras pick up something very early. Thrash leaving a spike handily placed in one of the corners and it remained undetected by Supernova or the referee. Qualitar on the commentators mic yells disapprovingly and implores Supernova to tread carefully. No way he can get that message across though. The ferocity of Thrash then takes everyone by surprise as she batters Supernova. Maybe finally a title switch might be on the cards but despite the domination Thrash cannot seem to work an opening for FEMME FATAL. Thrash keeps ramping things up and then picks up the spike and keeps it hidden behind her back. Luckily Supernova has the awareness to spot this on the huge video screen and knows she might be about to be laid out with it. As Thrash swings at her with the spike Supernova is prepared and with great reflexes sidesteps and swiftly kicks the spike out the hand. Goes flying somewhere into the crowd. Thrash is shocked but before she can fully process what happened gets met with a Tomahawk Thrust. In textbook style Supernova is straight on with the cover hooking the leg hard. Thrash struggles against it but cannot burst out of the pinning position quick enough and her latest title challenge goes up in smoke. Supernova pulls it out the bag again and makes a quick departure as Thrash looks like she might be in the mood to take immediate retribution.
Janus and Matador of M83 wins an entertaining one over X-Termination by DQ. The lofty status of being the CPC champ still counts for nothing as the Matador continues to receive a tag team push. Are Colby and Pelf really serious about trying to get the GWF tag team belts with this team? Having just beaten the Gladiators they could probably just name a time and place for a title shot. Win tonight and it’s almost a certainty. The duo continues to be unnamed but the wrestling press has started calling them the All Stars. It’s a play on the failed CPC pilot show and the fact it is a team of supreme talent. Johnny Rocket and Reynard B. Guile (who we know don’t like each other) provide the usual sideshow of bickering and put downs whilst at ringside. A decent match plays out. The All Stars, as we’ll call them, in total control at the beginning. The Matador giving Grunge a real torrid time. When Matador fails to finish it Janus gets twitchy and thinks he can do a better job. A frosty tag happens but Janus nearly gets caught out with KILLER AIR GUITAR. Just about avoids the embarrassment and comes back aggressively. Seeking to make Grunge pay for that Janus soon locks in GORDION KNOT. Johnny Rocket knows Grunge is toast and won’t let it end cleanly. Scampers into the ring and jumps on the back of Janus. He soon gets flung off and the bell goes off. DQ is the decision. Turnbuckle Shock Match, Terminus beat Brainstorm with consummate ease. Reynard B. Guile almost splits his sides with laughter when the next guy Johnny Rocket sends up to take on his CPC wrestlers is Brainstorm. He laughs “that guy can’t even beat Eagle. He’s got no chance against Terminus”. Luckily the rules of the match mean no managers can spoil it (they’ll both be out later for another match instead). Fair to say that Terminus oozes charisma whenever he wrestled. He looks and acts like a champion even thought he is currently belt less. Brainstorm will need all of his supposed genius to pull this off. He confidently claims to have a degree in physics and as such is a master of electronics. There is no way he can be zapped by any of the turnbuckles after he studies the match. His tactic is to apply a special lotion to his forehead and on his upper back. Within a few minutes Terminus puts it to the test and whips Brainstorm hard into one of the buckles. An audible fizz is hard and Brainstorm’s face creases up in pain. Then as if suddenly remembering his claims and not wanting to look stupid Brainstorm forces himself to smile as if it didn’t really hurt. He’s kidding nobody, least of all Terminus. Takes the stationary Brainstorm down with a forearm spear and then uses HAMMERLOCK SLAM. Job done and Brainstorm taught a very painful lesson. Soldier of Fortune and Dreadnaught overcome US. Patriot and Wolf. Who ever would of thought we’d see Soldier of Fortune and Dreadnaught (still injured) wrestling together as a tag team again. But for one night only they come together. Adam’s partner had been kept under wraps til now. Everyone stares hard at the curtain to see who it was going to be. In a shocking reveal Wolf comes out. Having had many intense battles with both Dreadnaught and Soldier of Fortune also in years gone by he wanted to be a part of the action. It’s part of his unpredictable nature but fans will be hoping this isn’t the beginning of the end of his partnership with Genesis as they love the Panic Attack team. Everyone managed to get a decent turn in the ring despite the potential for very few tags. The battle between Adam and Soldier of Fortune becomes the most significant. Soldier of Fortune seems to have a hold over Adam and so it proved again. Managing to defeat Adam with THE REVENGER. Should of been a glorious reunion of the Alien Corps but it was never going to work and they soon turn on each other. Dreadnaught confronting his partner for not tagging him in and allowing the chance to finish US. Patriot. Of course Soldier of Fortune doesn’t take kindly to the finger pointing. When Dreadnaught then calls him Tongsoon the red mist descends and they end up brawling to the back. Just for the fun of it Wolf jumps in and makes things even wilder. Dragonmaster beats Zouave in a squash. No contest. Zouave doesn’t know what hit him as soon as the bell sounds. Zouave gets snookered by the quick martial arts tactics. Barely a minute later he is being pinned after DRAGON DROP. Nothing Darkos can do other than to hold his head in his hands. The feud between the Titans and Masked Assassins this year might just be about the most one-sided ever.

Card 808 – SUDDEN DEATH SHOWDOWN – Mira Galaxy Dome:
(It’s a bit of mad house with the fans excited for the action. Matches between the Lords of Fire and No Fear are a ratings smash and of course the home fans are passionate for the Champions team) Battlezone match, Sam’s Stormtroopers crush the Champions. Two members (Prodigy and Skinhead) do not see any action. Commando Sam who has been AWOL of late is back at ringside barking orders. His team is already counting the cost of his absence after losing the Heavyweight belt although they did manage to gain the tag belts. The home crowd gives Sam a prickly reception. There has been lots of moving parts in this feud what with the CPC trying to engage both teams. For now it’s back to a pure battle between them. A massive chance for one of them to finally take a decent lead in the feud. Not wanting any intrusions Mesmer actually casts a dark spell to create a force field around the ring. For once he has actually done something decent but there is always a sinister undertone where he is concerned. If the Stormtroopers do anything threatening then it will be very difficult to help whoever might be on the end of their attacks. First match up is a big one as the former friends and partners meet, Colussus against Heracles. Here’s how it all went down ... Heracles beats Colussus. Commando Sam is no mood for the long drawn out procession of Heracles. Orders him off the sofa that he attempts to be carried on to the ring whilst reclining on. Heracles shoots him a stare but respects Sam’s command and climbs off to walk normally to the ring. Colussus can barely contain himself. Although Omega urges him to wait Colussus rushes to meet him in the runway to kick off the bout. Sets the pattern of the clash as it’s all Colussus. Totally dominates but despite laying 5 tokens on Heracles lets himself get distracted by Commando Sam after CYBORG DEATHBLOW. Heracles takes his chance and nails OLYMPIA to win against the run of it all; Heracles also beats Alpha Force to ensure the Stormtroopers are off to a really strong start. Alpha Force just didn’t get his rhythm and goes down to a Heracles Power Clamp. Omega looks forlorn whilst Sam fist pumps. It’s Star Warrior up next. His arrival energises the crowd. Can he keeps his good run going and get the Champions back into this?; Star Warrior finally registers a win for his team as he sends Heracles packing by DQ. Trouble is he has plenty of damage on him having been struck with OLYMPIA about three times. He only won because he managed to get out the path of a death jump. The subsequent run in by Commando Sam led to the bell. Sam doesn’t look too despondent and pats Heracles on the back. He knows Star Warrior is hurt bad and it’s Chaos up next; Chaos mauls Star Warrior. Omega hates getting involved in his team’s matches as it goes against his usual morals. However he is fed up with the antics of the team and also looking a bit desperate. He rolls his sleeves up and vows to stop Sam if he tries anything again. Sadly he doesn’t get the opportunity. Chaos doesn’t need any help. Almost immediately goes for BOW OF DEFEAT and beats Star Warrior in less than a minute. Pegasus is the final barrier between the Stormtroopers and a crushing victory. It will be a miracle if he can come through this; Chaos ends the match as he beats Pegasus by DQ. Pegasus tries hard and manages to avoid getting beaten despite feeling many powerful moves and getting squeezed in BOW OF DEFEAT a few times. Even Omega does a few things to try and help him out. Fair enough when Sam has been busy cheating throughout the whole match. Pegasus then manages to get on top for a while and maybe there is something to build on. But Chaos is one step ahead of him and gets out the ring to break the momentum. Pegasus follows and in trying to keep Chaos on the back foot throws him towards a ring post. Commando Sam makes a huge appeal to the ref. Omega rushes at Sam and tries to muzzle the protestations with his hand but it’s no good. The ref makes his mind up to DQ Pegasus and end the suffering of the Champions team. To make matters worse Sam gets the better of Omega and plants him into the barriers after SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Pegasus thinks about going after Sam and Chaos but decides to help tend to his manager. Bad night for the hero team. Interplanetary champ, Buck Steele / Genocide, beats Ram by DQ. Amazing twist as both Mandrill and Wolf come to ringside and refuse to leave. They clearly haven’t had enough of each other after their intense battle earlier in the event. After much arguing Commissioner Grogan comes out to settle the dispute and allows both to stay. Ram is on a knife edge as Mandrill has told him the severity of his daily beatings will increase should he fail to deliver the IP belt. Things get interesting very early. Ram attacks Buck hard and soon triggers the transformation into Genocide. Inevitably Genocide gets the better of things and also gets assistance from Wolf savaging Ram outside a couple of times. Mandrill doesn’t stand back even though he is wary of Genocide. When Ram gets flattened with CORPUS GENOCIDE he enters the ring and smashes Genocide on the back of the head with his gun causing the DQ. It doesn’t end there though as Wolf rampages into the ring and latches onto Mandrill. Carnage ensues with a massive brawl involving everyone. Genocide eventually manages to clear the entire ring himself. In his rage even tossing Wolf. Nobody can get in the ring as Genocide is so worked up. Everyone just has to wait until he calms down and returns to being Buck which takes several minutes. Later in the night once the event is over Commissioner Grogan is again involved as he admonishes all the wrestlers involved but rather than leave it on a cliffhanger comes up with a solution. Panic Attack and Animen Uprising must face each other on #809.
Lepus Stun Rod match, The Mercenaries take victory over Thunder and Overkill by DQ. Soldier of Fortune refusing to get dragged into what he calls a ridiculous dogfight with US. Patriot any longer. Tonight it is all about it getting focus back on the battle with the Gladiators. With such a points advantage already the opportunity to leave the Gladiators in a hopeless position has presented itself. The Mercenaries manage to grasp that chance. The match was only a few minutes old when the light above the rod holster illuminates. Overkill is beating on Soldier of Fortune at the time. He grabs the rod and starts attacking Soldier of Fortune with it. Trouble is he either ignored or failed to pay attention to the light going off. As the beating continued the officials rang the bell and disqualified Overkill for his actions. Almost as if that was the final straw for the Gladiators as Overkill gets angry and just carries on using the rod despite the match being lost. Vigilante quickly grabs his rifle and enters the ring to attack Overkill. Thunder also joins in after arming himself with a chair. A wild melee with weapons being swung by all takes place. Takes a swarm of security guys armed with high voltage tasers to break things up. All four are down inside the ring as a result. Medics cautiously enter the ring and triage the injured. Soldier of Fortune appears to be in the worst condition and is removed first. Things even kick off later in the evening as the two teams cross paths in the local medical center. Thousands of dollars worth of damage to medical equipment. Injuries declared as superficial and the two teams can’t wait to get it on again as soon as possible.
Barbed Wire Cosmic Cage match, Vengeance wins a gory battle with Splatter. Sometimes there are no words. The bloody levels of violence were off the charts. The barbed sides are obsessively used by both guys. By the end Vengeance has 11 tokens and Splatter is carrying 10. I don’t think there has ever been a bloodbath quite like it in the history of the GWF. By the end it was just a case of whoever landed a finisher or pin attempt first would win. The add 1 scenarios the match throws up being responsible for the high fatigue (and of course Vengeance’s infamous Eye Cleaver). It was Vengeance who got the luck of the roll as suddenly HELTER SKELTER popped up. Splatter just laid there unconscious after it absolutely covered in blood. Vengeance staggers away barely able to lift an arm in victory. Leaves his own trail of red behind him. Back inside the cage Splatter is lifted away motionless and will be injured for sure. These are crucial points for the Gladiators but if Thunder and Overkill cannot follow up it the next match then it’ll make no difference.
Elimination match, Murderer’s Row defeat Savage Kingdom. Draconian Sheik is the sole survivor. There was an early blow for the Savage Kingdom as Mollock still feels the effects of its altercation with Splatter and is still being treated at the animal hospital back on Neptune. Terak doesn’t want to leave his team vulnerable though and turns up to protect them instead. It’s a necessary move as Cannibal would otherwise run amok. Rumours of a surprise new team member for the Murderer’s Row team prove unfounded. Could be some story behind this. As for the match the order of eliminations were ... The Creeper beat Mutant by count-out; Death’s Head eliminated Wildcat via DQ. Wildcat missed with WILDCAT STRIKE and gets viciously picked to pieces by the Sick Things. A stint in DRACONIAN BACKBREAKER and relentless hits with FUNERAL MARCH leave him coughing blood. Instinctively and probably for his own protection Wildcat takes himself out of the match by grabbing one of Death’s Head skulls and trying to smash him with it. The ref then gives him his marching orders; Vyper luckily beats Death’s Head by count-out. Vyper is ready to be pinned after also being hit multiple times with FUNERAL MARCH. However Terak provides a timely distraction which leads to Death’s Head going after him and getting counted-out; Draconian Sheik pinned Vyper. Visibly struggling Vyper immediately loses after being attacked from behind after Cannibal causes a distraction and then getting a painful thumb to the throat. All even steven now; Draconian Sheik beat the Creeper. There’s no controlling Drac as he overwhelms the Creeper with DRACONIAN BACKBREAKER. Just Karah left. Feel for him. Notable that Cycle Hog has barely been in the ring up til now but even so is blowing and sweating buckets on the apron. The guy is so out of shape; Karah beats Cycle Hog to make things interesting. Gets Hog off his feet with a Karah Cartwheel Kick. Cannibal then attacks Karah and gets Hog disqualified; Draconian Sheik wins the match for his team against Karah. The brave resistance of Karah ends. He just takes too much punishment and ends up collapsing outside the ring and getting counted-out. Terak manages to keep him safe by beating off Drac and Cannibal with a metal club as they circle Karah like vultures in the aftermath. Titan Death match, Mandrill takes the spoils against Wolf. Both have struggled to make their mark in 2103 and been in the shadow of others. However it remains one of the most important feuds in the GWF. Over the years they have shared the spoils when they have faced each other. Wolf is fired up as usual. Hitting the ring at breakneck speed and ripping straight into Mandrill. The fans love it as Mandrill scrambles under the barrage of attacks. Problem is Wolf is a bit too charged up. Taking too many risks and in the end it his undoing. In trying to hit Mandrill with a big move against the turnbuckle Wolf runs into a clothesline. The fact he was running into it at unabated speed made the force of impact absolutely devastating. Mandrill then casually uses MUTANT MAULER and manages to grab the pin. As Wolf lay beneath Mandrill’s feet trying to get up he gets spat on in a humiliating gesture. Probably not Wolf’s finest hour after tumbling to defeat. Mandrill’s action of spitting on him invoked such rage within Wolf that he spends the rest of the event searching the venue. He is intent on getting his claws on Mandrill again and destroys virtually everything in his path. The pursuit results in them crossing paths during a match later.
Titan Death match, Bishop Hell burned Archon. Nerves of steel from Archon as fireworks go off right in front of him on his approach to the ring. Booby traps laid by Blazing Skull. Archon is unhurt from this little stunt and defiantly gets on with things. Bishop Hell will do well to come through this one with Archon looking so determined. But it’s a dangerous scenario as being a Titan Death match Bishop Hell’s illegal finisher can be dispersed freely. Archon knows this and keeps himself close as possible using the submission style to stop Bishop Hell tampering with his gloves. Despite the best efforts he cannot keep Bishop Hell at bay forever. His submission moves don’t work particularly well in this occasion. Bishop Hell manages to stun Archon with a punishing knee lift after a whip to the ropes. As Archon doubles up in pain Bishop Hell leans in and blasts HELLFIRE at point blank range. Poor Archon falls backwards clutching his face and is easily pinned. Big win for the Lords of Fire but with Pulsar winning earlier the honours even between No Fear and the Lords of Fire. So points are merely shared. Titan Death match, Pulsar blinds Blazing Skull. The Lords of Fire continue to invoke rage in Pulsar. The latest game is that they refused to face No Fear in tag action at this event and then kept them guessing over which one of them would face him in singles action. It’s not the match Pulsar wanted. He would rather face Bishop Hell. Leads to him accusing Bishop Hell of being cowardly. The lack of composure seems to hamper him in the early part. Blazing Skull looks to be absolutely creaming him. But crucially he is not getting in any pin attempts. Pulsar holds on and then suddenly wins an out of ring brawl. Wasting no time he throws ACID RAIN at Blazing Skull. As Blazing Skull staggers around screaming at the pain in his eyes Pulsar comes behind him for a schoolboy roll up and steals the pin. The home crowd give Pulsar a massive ovation. His history with the FDF makes him very popular here and most of them totally understand why he is currently like he is. Titan Death match, Manslaughter finished Ursa Major in just 3 moves. Daunting task for Ursa Major but he wants to show he can cut it in singles and that his past successes were no fluke. Darkos is licking his lips at the prospect of this match. Although he cannot be at ringside he thinks Ursa Major is the Titan weak link and won’t be able to cope in a Titan Death match setting. His prediction is spot on. Ursa Major is beaten in about thirty seconds via SNAP, CRACK, POP. It’s a rare moment of superiority for the Masked Assassins over the Titans in their feud this year. Max Shield unleashes fury on Nefarus. Poor Ram has a busy night. A highly pressured championship match later but given no time off from his slave duties. Feisty start from Max as he unloads with fury first on Ram and then Nefarus. Fans loving the step up in aggression have nicknamed him ‘Mad Max’. Nefarus is shocked by the intensity and gets out the ring at every opportunity. He is also constantly in the ref’s ear. But his efforts to hold Max off prove fruitless. Although he does have a brief moment where SCISSORDRIVER is attempted he cannot withstand relentless attacks with MAXIMUM IMPACT. In a bid to keep favour with his Colonizer masters Ram immediately attacks Max before he can celebrate the victory. Armed with one of the whips used to control him wraps it round Max’s legs to trip him up and then with the help of Nefarus they go to town on Max. It’s a short burst attack as they flee before Max’s friends Wolf and Buck Steele can get out to the ring. Max wins but pays the price with a 2 card injury. Supernova beats Anaxis in non-title action. Supernova has been so busy defending her women’s championship that her feud with Anaxis has slipped into the background. Tonight it’s back on and hotter than ever. The title isn’t on the line so for once Supernova is relieved of that pressure. Maybe subconsciously that effects her because Supernova struggles and almost loses after CALL OF THE SIREN. However it’s the mark of a great champion to still find a way to win even when in top form. Anaxis runs into a turnbuckle and Supernova decides to follow up with a Tomahawk Thrust. It’s just enough to seal the win. New Order overcome X-Termination by DQ. Mace reluctantly returns to tag action on the big stage. It’s a massive match in which to be doing this what with all the forces pulling them apart. Destructon 3000 hopes the whole storm has blown over. Can New Order repeat their GALACTICON glory against X-Termination (who after a hot start to 2103 have been in freefall)? Unfortunately it turns into a drab opener. Sleeze is punished for use of a foreign object on Mace and it all just fizzles out. Classic case of the build up being much better than the actual blow off.

GWF REPORT (SUDDEN DEATH 2103 CARDS 805 - 808)
Champions * GWF Galaxian Champ: Raven (Top Contender: Mandrill) * GWF Tag Champs: Superiority Complex (Top Contenders: The Mercenaries) * GWF Interplanetary Champ: Buck Steele (Top Contender: Manslaughter) * GWF Ladies Champ: Supernova (Top Contender: Amazonia) * CPC Heavyweight Champ: Matador of M83 (Top Contender: Pulsar) Latest News: The GWF refuses to recognise the CPC belt despite all the publicity. Worryingly some wrestling magazines (including GALACTIC WRESTLING ILLUSTRATED) are listing it as a title and even publishing rankings. The fans are heavily swayed by this and many now believe it to be almost as important as the GWF titles themselves. This seems to be a bit more serious than some of the gimmick belts we’ve had in the past which were seen as a bit of fun rather than any real threat to the established titles. Magnus Colby ignores the published rankings to determine the next top contender who will be Pulsar. Amazing decision considering past heat between Pulsar and the CPC. Pulsar faces a period of self-examination. Will he be able to resist its lure or try to win it?
For fans wondering where Commando Sam was for most of the month as he missed key title matches. He took a bullet at a dark show when Splatter tried to savagely attack Chaos. The violent blow with Arsenal knocked him out of 3 cards and he was only able to return at SUDDEN DEATH SHOWDOWN. Chaos was so impressed by this act and said Morpheus would never of done anything like that. Question is where will this go now? The CPC were behind the attempt and of course under normal circumstances the Hitmen would be on the radar for revenge too. However Sam is adamant that his team stays focused on beating Omega’s Champions team. Chaos now has so much respect for Sam he is inclined to follow all his orders. The first one he will be given is to regain the Heavyweight belt. Something that would not of took much convincing of anyway.
It’s been a long time but Superiority Complex are back at the summit of the tag division shortly after winning OTB. Yet another honour to add to their long list of historic achievements. Also a message to many other teams who had written them off that they are still a great team and possibly one of the best in GWF history. Lord Nexus was very upset the belts Titan Fury had worked so hard to win were surrendered at the Titan Sportatorium of all places. However he is confident his team can bounce back quickly. Mayhem could be about to start feuding with Murderer’s Row. Those will be wild matches. Word is he was about to join Cannibal’s crazy team but then did a sudden u-turn. Maybe he thinks the feud with Savage Kingdom isn’t going too well and worried he’d be the one banished. Cannibal had expected to showcase Mayhem in the SUDDEN DEATH SHOWDOWN Elimination match against Savage Kingdom but was left high and dry with the last minute no show. He had to substitute in Mutant. Brainstorm admits he cooked up the brilliant plan to ambush and incapacitate Destructon 3000 during a recent show. Just to show how he can outwit anyone on the WAR team whenever he chooses. He escapes suspension because there is no footage existing and Destructon 3000 cannot identify his actual attackers. Although this was a bad moment for the WAR team they received an immediate uplift at the next card as Raven managed to upset Chaos and win the Heavyweight belt. Of course this is not lost on Johnny Rocket who is now encouraging Holocaust to step up the intensity of his feud with Raven. The advantage of feuding with a champion is that sometimes it can lead into a title shot. Promoters like having feud battles with titles on the line.
INJURED – Max Shield (2), Splatter (4); SUSPENDED – Krakan WHOSE HOT … Heracles, Raven, Soldier of Fortune, Vengeance, Mandrill, Bishop Hell, Pulsar, Max Shield, Jack of Diamonds, Manslaughter, Supernova, Janus and Matador (the All Stars), Mercenaries, Superiority Complex WHOSE NOT … Alpha Force, Wolf, Archon, Blazing Skull, US. Patriot, Nefarus, Ursa Major, Vyper, Mad Jester, Zouave, Anaxis, X-Termination, Coat of Arms, Thunder and Overkill SUDDEN DEATH STANDINGS:
Champions-Sam’s Stormtroopers 47-48 Genesis and Wolf-Colonizers of Scorpi 31-31 Gladiators-Hitmen 10-23 No Fear-Lords of Fire 8-17 WAR-Rocketmen 22-23 Fighting Titans-Masked Assassins 41-6 Savage Kingdom-Murderer’s Row 23-14 Flamboyance-Pillars of Power 8-11 Jack of Diamonds-Mad Jester 9-8
It’s funny. Was so looking forward to the Gladiator-Hitmen feud but it hasn’t really caught fire for me. I tried to spice it up at the last event but still want more from it. Am hoping to get much better mileage out of the feud next year. For now it’s not even close. Maybe I’m nit picking but having just three members on each team doesn’t seem to give enough variety. The Stormtroopers are gaining in strength as they temporarily took a grip of both major belts. They also crushed the Champions team in the main event of SUDDEN DEATH SHOWDOWN. So even with Commando Sam sidelined for large parts of the month they had a lot of success. But ultimately the loss of the Heavyweight belt was a big blow. WAR were the big beneficiaries of Chaos dropping the belt as Raven rises to the top of the pile once more. Can they use this success to kick on in their feud with the Rocket Men which so far has been a bit of a struggle? WRESTLER OF THE MONTH: Raven - The rewards are dedicated to the guys grabbing the belts this month. Raven has been a real thorn in the side of Chaos and cuts the big man down again in his way to winning the Heavyweight belt. TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH: Superiority Complex - Apparently the GWF were going to give this award to Janus and Matador but the CPC duo, nicknamed the All Stars by wrestling press, refused to accept. So Superiority Complex are honoured instead.

DARK MATCHES … Luna Auditorium:
Splatter goes over Dreadnaught in a Castor Chain match. Love these offbeat feuds. Dreadnaught is a real trooper as he continues to bravely go up against Splatter despite everything that’s been done to him. For once he is not working hurt but that may not last long. Splatter on the other hand is a scarred mess having lost a lot of blood in his last match against Vengeance. The two of them don’t disappoint and have an evenly contested battle. Dreadnaught isn’t far away from an upset after hitting GUIDED MISSILE shortly after Splatter had missed with a falling fist whilst the chain was wrapped round his knuckles. Splatter manages to comeback from this painful moment and puts Dreadnaught to the sword via THE SHREDDER. Things are going to get even better at the next house show as Dreadnaught joins forces with Coat of Arms to battle Splatter and the other Hitmen. Who said dark matches weren’t that important. Titan Death match, Terminus has no problems dealing with Ursa Major. A plethora of talent on display. Unfortunately for all his ability Ursa Major is in a strange place in the Titan team. The top team is without doubt Titan Fury whilst his usual partner, Lord Nexus, is almost fully retired. Ursa Major probably lacks the stats to make it on his own in singles (despite one shock IP belt win). But he always gives his all, never complains and to this very day remains eternally grateful for the opportunity given to him by the Titan team. Sadly his well out of his depth here. Barely lands a move on Terminus and goes down to HAMMERLOCK SLAM within a couple of minutes. Star Warrior easily pins Mesmer. Not many ring appearances by Mesmer since Sam’s turn but there is always a lot of heat from the fans when he does wrestle. Star Warrior cannot wait to get his hands on the man deemed responsible for this whole mess with Sam. He is careful not to get caught in a stare out with Mesmer lest he become victim to any kind of hypnosis. Mesmer doesn’t see Sam as being his manager so he is not accompanied. Maybe that was a bad move as there is plenty of ring rust on him. Star Warrior largely untroubled as he moves towards a win via COSMIC BIG BANG. After the disastrous main event at SHOWDOWN it’s a timely boost for the Champions. Chaos thaws out the threat of Blizzard. Amazingly Blizzard thinks he can spring the upset of all upsets. Plenty of tough talk as he claims “one ice ball to the back of the head will do it”. Chaos laughs when he hears such talk bragging it would take an iceberg to knock him down. No Commando Sam here as he is having a night off. Not that Chaos should need him against someone as low ranked as Blizzard. So it proves. Total one way traffic. Despite the freezing skin of Blizzard making him uncomfortable to hold Chaos just keeps on applying BOW OF DEFEAT in his usual style until his opponent passes out. Good work out for the big man but much stiffer tests await. Mad Jester beat the angry Exo-King by DQ. Exo-King answers the challenge of Jester to face him. He defiantly announces “retirement can wait a little while longer. I will make Jester bow before me one more time”. The King makes a mockery of his advancing years to give Jester a great match. One memorable moment sees Jester foolishly try and choke slam. He cannot lift the King at all and instead just gets his own throat gripped and gets smashed into the floor. The fans hope this is the signal for a big upset but the King later lets himself get caught in an outside brawl. In his desperation to stay on top then clocks Jester with his sceptre and gets disqualified.
Air Raid take a popular win over the Upstart Punks. Raven not letting his status as Heavyweight champ go to his head. Always remembers his roots and wants to team with his cousin again even if it means being at the bottom end of the card. Bit of a hairy start for Air Raid. Eagle gets double teamed and falls victim to PROPULSION PILEDRIVER. He just about evades getting pinned. When he gets the hot tag to Raven everything changes. Romulus is on the end of BLADERUNNER and then BROADSWORD in quick succession. All over after that.

Chaos thaws out the threat of Blizzard
This match changed my fed direction for a six months. This happened in 2106 for me. In my fed, Blizzard pulled the upset and beat him in the rematch too. I couldn't believe it. It was insane. Blizzard went on to two more feuds as champion before falling to Vigilante, in a supposed warm up for Chaos. It was a nutty year. That match up brought back some memories. As always great fed. You are our Steven king. Keep up the good work

Thank you. Yes would of loved the same upset to of happened but alas Blizzard didn’t even get close. I can’t quite remember but I don’t think he even managed a single offensive move. That’s crazy what happened for you. Ok winning once could happen but to actually repeat the win is insane. Sounds like an amazing game year.
The reason I booked the match is because anything Tom writes I absolutely hoover up. In the Son of Bash booklet he makes reference to Chaos. Something like “imagine Chaos dodging ice balls” so I always had it in mind to book the match. Maybe I’ll try another one at some point.
I really appreciate your kind comments. Find it challenging to be inventive. Sometimes it flows much better for me. I’m enjoying playing the current year but what I am really looking forward to is reaching CPC 2105. I can’t remember the book too much til I read again but I’ve already tried to start teasing things. Couldn’t resist getting the CPC Belt going a bit early

Actually I wondered does Blizzard get a card update beyond 2103 or was that his only release? I cannot remember.

Yeah at the moment using the Son of Bash card. Looking forward to his update in a few years. I thought it was this card he’d beaten Chaos with in your fed as I didn’t realise he’d been upgraded!
